How to draw a boy standing sideways. How to draw a boy with a pencil step by step

→ Draw a boy

What you will need

In order to draw a boy we may need:

  • Paper. It is better to take medium-grain special paper: beginning artists will find it much more pleasant to draw on this kind of paper.
  • Sharpened pencils. I advise you to take several degrees of hardness, each should be used for different purposes.
  • Eraser.
  • Stick for rubbing hatching. You can use plain paper rolled into a cone. It will be easy for her to rub the shading, turning it into a monotonous color.
  • A little patience.
  • Good mood.

Step by step lesson

All people are united by many anatomical properties: two arms, two legs, one head, etc. But every person is unique. Some have more developed muscles, some have deeper-set eyes, and some wear a creative hairstyle. To draw a boy as correctly as possible, you need nature. Well, or many different photographs that you can study.

By the way, in addition to this lesson, I advise you to pay attention to the lesson “”. It will help improve your skill or just give you a little fun.

Tip: create a sketch with as thin strokes as possible. The thicker the sketch strokes are, the more difficult it will be to erase them later.

The first step, or rather the zero step, is always to mark a sheet of paper. This will let you know where exactly the drawing will be located. If you place the drawing on half of the sheet, you can use the other half for another drawing. Here is an example of marking a sheet in the center:

Step one.

Draw a circle in the center of the sheet and the shape of the neck and shoulders.

Step two.

On the head we will make the shape of the hairstyle and ear, and also show with lines where the nose will be located.

Step three.

Now let's add the elements: eyes, nose and mouth. But this is just a sketch, we will detail it later.

Step four.

Let's add eyebrows to him and correct the contours of his eyes, nose and lips. We will also add . Don't forget about clothing items. Our boy is wearing a shirt. If you want to draw, then watch the lesson on drawing women's clothing.

Step five.

Let's add a few touches to give the shirt a realistic look. Don't forget to erase the auxiliary lines and add shadows later! I get it like this:

I sincerely hope that you enjoyed the lesson on how to draw a boy. If you put in the effort, I believe you will achieve everything you set your mind to. Now you can pay attention to the lesson “” - it is just as interesting and exciting. Well, there are social network buttons for a reason =)

In this lesson we will look at how to draw a full-length boy with a dog in pencil step by step, and then color it with colored pencils.

You will need: a state of calm confidence, readiness for new creative successes.
Materials: pencils, eraser, black pen, if desired - gouache, brush.

1. We start by “outlining” our little character on a piece of paper. Let's denote his height - approximately three heads, the middle vertical line of the body and face, the line of the eyes. Let's outline the cheek and hairstyle. The midline of the torso is sometimes drawn as an axis in the center of the body, and sometimes as a stripe glued to the back, this may depend both on the author's preferences and on the character's pose and/or its dynamism. (Note: I later made his head a little smaller).

2. Dressing the child). We remember that under the clothes there is a body and that the clothes themselves also have a certain weight. Therefore, the top of the sweater’s outline (on the boy’s outstretched arm) will approximately follow the outline of the arm. While the lower part of the contour sags unobtrusively). It is also useful to remember that clothes are thick and also tend to change slightly during wear - the knees may sag slightly, etc. Thicker fabrics tend to create larger folds. The right pant leg sags less at the knee than the left one, since the fabric at the bottom is gathered into a tighter fold, which partially supports the weight of the pant leg. The left leg sags more and the leg line is straighter. This difference is not very noticeable compared to them, but still the lines are curved slightly differently.

3. Outline the hair strands and facial features. Let us designate the shape of the eyes, eyebrows, and line of the nose. We draw a mouth, I usually put a small dot in its corner and draw a line for the bottom of the lower lip. Let's clarify the remaining lines (for example, I made the head smaller).

4. Erase the extra lines so that they don’t interfere, continue to refine the outline, and work out the folds. Add livestock, such as a rabbit). Although in fact it would have been better to remember it earlier.

5. We begin to paint the drawing. Using a blue pencil, lightly color in the shaded parts of the boy (except for the face). We do this really lightly (in the photo, for clarity, the toning is shown in more contrast than it actually was).

6. Again, lightly begin to apply color. For carrots, first we tint the middle with orange, then from the middle to the edges we tint it with yellow. Draw dark brown hair at the crown and ends of the hair. A stroke with strong pressure at the beginning, and almost no pressure at the end - similar to how we put commas, only very, very slightly curved strokes. We put more pressure on the pencil at the top of the head, reducing the pressure towards the highlight. Using the same principle, we tint the ends of the hair, reducing the pressure towards the top.

7. Then add a lighter brown color to the hair (you can have it with a slightly reddish tint). Then, using the same principle, we work through the hair with a yellow pencil, reducing the pressure on the highlight.

8. We continue to color the clothes using different shades of green, light green, blue, blue, yellow. For the overalls, a light purple pencil was also used (on the shadow side.)

9. We tighten the shading, with the exception of the more illuminated, protruding areas (shoulder, stomach, shoe toes). We begin to tint the skin of the face with a flesh-colored pencil. Then lightly add blush on top of the nude color using a red pencil. Then we tint it closely again - then the red will blend out a little and will look more natural.

10. We begin to outline the outline with a black pen. It is advisable that it does not flow). Just in case, keep a piece of paper nearby on which you can wipe it. Also lightly work through the hair with a pen, changing the pressure in the same way as you previously changed the pressure of a pencil.

11. Again we work through the hair, leaving a very small area of highlight that is not painted over, or you can use an eraser as you wish). We draw the pupils with a pen, not forgetting about the glare. For some reason the glare on my slippers went in the wrong direction, but... anyway, at the final stage I’ll add highlights with gouache - it doesn’t really matter.

12. We work on the overalls with a blue pencil, shading it along the edges. You can also add shadows on clothes, shoes and carrots using diagonal shading with a simple pencil (I use a mechanical one, because I’m always too lazy to sharpen pencils). Color and trace the rabbit. We use a blue and light purple pencil, and a simple one for the shaded areas, the tips of the ears and tail and drawing the toes. I could make my teeth stand out more, otherwise I have a kind of dog-like rabbit)

13. At the thirteenth stage, the boy looks somehow strange, he is probably superstitious). We add greenery to the carrot and lightly color the child’s lower lip with a pale pink pencil. We outline the eyes with a pen, do not forget about the fold of the upper eyelid, you can use dots to indicate eyelashes. Using a simple pencil we draw a shadow in the ear. Red and simple - paint the sole of the shoe. Lettuce - paint the patch. We remember that the boy casts a shadow). Just like an animal in principle.

14. Using a sharp pencil, draw the iris. Using a simple pencil we draw a chest pocket, we also use it to draw a stool, add a blue color to the left, and outline the furniture with a pen.

15. If desired, add white gouache to the drawing, arranging highlights and reflections.
Here's an additional photo - so you can better see where I drew the lines with a gouache brush.

That's all). Enjoy your inspired creativity!

. Portrait painting is one of the most complex and significant genres of fine art. This is not just a reproduction of the features of a particular person, but an understanding of his inner world, the essence of his character, the uniqueness of his appearance; the artist’s expression of his attitude towards the depicted. No other genre of painting reveals man so how it does portrait.

How teach your child to draw a portrait correctly? Each teacher has his own methodology drawing a portrait. I teach children first draw a person's face step by step, with a simple pencil.

Using simple rules, draw human Almost everyone can do a face, even child. Perhaps not the first time, but if you really want to, you will definitely be able to teach your child to draw a real portrait of a person.

Before you start working on portrait, it is recommended to prepare everything necessary:

Paper;

A simple pencil.

1. First, draw an oval face with thin lines.

2. For relief drawing exactly in the center draw a vertical line dividing portrait into two parts and two horizontal lines dividing it into 3 parts: forehead, eyebrows; eyes, nose; mouth, chin.

3. On the top line we draw arc-eyebrows.

4. Below are the eyes. The shape of the eyes consists of arched lines. The iris and pupil are drawn in the middle. Do not forget draw eyelashes, on the upper eyelid they are longer than on the lower.

5. Drawing nose - nose in the middle, beginning at the eyebrows. It is drawn with a smooth arc-shaped line. The crown of the nose is rounded and from the side are drawn wings of the nose and nostrils.

4. The mouth is below the nose. We draw the line of the mouth, on top of the upper lip - two arched lines, on the bottom of the lower lip - a large arched line.

We erase the extra lines with an eraser.

5. Draw ears on the sides at the level of the nose, finishing drawing the shoulders.

6. Then hair: short or long, straight or curly, wavy, with bangs or not, color.

Talent is given to everyone a person by nature, but you need to start developing any abilities from early childhood. By helping children learn to formulate images into images, you, teachers, are doing them a great service. Drawing Using a pencil step by step is not only interesting, but also very useful for young children. Good luck to you!

Master class “How to draw a picture if you don’t know how to draw” Very often we, music directors and educators, have to do it ourselves.

Dear boys and girls! In this lesson we will tell you, how to draw a boy with a pencil step by step. Not every child will be able to learn how to draw a person the first time, and therefore we have divided the entire process into 8 stages. In any case, you should like our lesson, because with it you can learn how to draw a boy using a pencil.

STEP #1

We start by drawing a circle for the head, and then draw the outlines of the torso, arms and legs until a human figure appears, similar to the one you see here.

STEP #2

Now you should draw the entire shape of the face. It is necessary to sketch out the ear, eyebrows, hair and outlines of the eyes.

STEP #3

In this step we finish drawing the eyes of our boy, and then draw a simple nose and mouth.

STEP #4

At this stage we finish with the hairstyle as shown in the picture.

STEP #5

The next step is to draw the boy’s neck, as well as his torso, which will be hidden in a T-shirt with sleeves and a collar.

STEP #6

Now we draw the hands as shown in the picture.

STEP #7

Our boy is almost ready, and there is very little left. To do this, we finish drawing his legs, which will be hidden under his trousers. This is the easiest body part you'll need to draw, so you shouldn't have any difficulties.

STEP #8

At the last stage you need to draw shoes or feet. Don't forget to add soles for shoes. Now you can erase the lines and shapes you drew in the first step.

STEP #9

This is what your boy will look like when you're done. Now you can have even more fun when you start coloring it and end up with a finished beautiful picture. We hope you enjoyed our step-by-step lesson on how to draw a boy in pencil.

In our time of high technology, of course, it is easier to take a portrait of a loved one or child with a camera. But no matter how skilled the photographer is, a live drawing can convey much more living warmth than a technical picture. Each artist, through a drawing, expresses his attitude to what or whom he depicts, puts in his feelings and emotions. Not even the most advanced, but, alas, soulless technique can do this. In this lesson we will try to draw with a pencil a boy who is happy with his new toy car. The baby is happy, so we’ll depict this moment. It will not be easy for beginners to even approximately draw a boy with a pencil. Let's look at the whole drawing step by step.

  1. You can use thick matte paper, it is easier to draw small details on it, or you can use a little rough paper, then the drawing will turn out very soft and warm. You will need simple pencils of varying hardness from HB to 7-9B, and a soft eraser. The first stage is very important. It is necessary to accurately calculate the pose and movement of the boy, while taking into account children's proportions. The height of a child aged 3-7 years is calculated as follows: the distance from his chin to the edge of the hair on his forehead should “fit” into his full height approximately four times. Children have larger heads than adults, a convex forehead, a small nose and puffy cheeks. Draw the head in the shape of an egg, slightly angled to the right. Let's roughly estimate where the child's shoulders might be located - the right one will be higher than the left one, since he is leaning on his left hand. Accordingly, the right point of the thigh will also be higher than the left, the baby sits on the left knee. The dots indicate the joint junctions. You can draw the horizon line at a slight angle in advance.

  2. Another important and responsible stage is to begin drawing out the child’s body. Our boy is dressed in denim overalls with buckles on the straps and a striped sweater. We are drawing a children's car without small parts for now. Mentally place the child and the car along the line of the drawn horizon. When you “build” the toy, make its contours parallel to this imaginary horizon. Draw a curved straight line that divides the boy's face almost in half - his eyes will be located on it (remember that the child's head is large, so the line needs to be moved a little lower). The horizontal arc on the face is shifted to the left - the nose will be drawn on it.

  3. Carefully remove all the auxiliary lines, make the contours clearer, and only now do we proceed to the details and light tones.
  4. Using thin shading, sketch out all the shadows, indicate the folds of the child’s clothing, how the lines are located on the sweater, how the buckles are attached (they will be at different angles). Denim fabric is dense, so it forms large and large folds. The material of the sweater is softer and thinner, so the folds will also be thinner. A toy dump truck can be drawn more generally, only with contrasts of light and shadow, since the main character of the drawing is a little boy.

  5. We begin to tint the child’s clothes. A denim overall will look much darker than a sweater and the shadows in the folds will be dense and dense. We draw the stripes on the sweater in parallel, but not as a “fence”, it is still woolen fabric, in some places it lies flat, and in others it gathers like an accordion. We draw the child’s face more clearly. We make a fold under the eyes, draw a plump chin more expressively and shade the cheeks a little.

  6. In this enlarged fragment, you can clearly see how the stripes of clothing lie unevenly, but from afar they are perceived precisely as parallel lines; our brain itself comes up with the overall picture.

  7. We make soft and transparent shadows under the toy and the child. The darkest area is on the child's left shoulder; it immediately catches the viewer's eye. Then the person looks at the baby’s face, then at the toy, and again returns to looking at the details on the boy’s clothes. Starting from the far right point, our gaze glides along the invisible “triangle” - left shoulder, head, toy and returns to the figure again. This means that everything was done correctly, and I was able to draw a boy with a pencil. Check that the entire drawing does not “fall apart” and that every single detail is perfectly readable or guessable.

Drawing people is quite difficult, but we hope that with the help of this lesson you will be able to take the first steps in this direction and will improve your skills in the future.
