The Little Prince school play. Script for the musical play "The Little Prince"

Musical galaxy.

For the anniversary of the art school based on the fairy tale by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry “The Little Prince”.

On the stage there is a black piano with open keys, illuminated by a spotlight. Rose comes out. With her appearance, color music begins to work, the background, middle, and foreground plans of the stage are illuminated. The phonogram of the song “The Little Prince” sounds (lyrics by N. Dobronravov, music by M. Tariverdiev). Rose sings the first two quatrains. The Little Prince appears, looks around, timidly approaches Rose, examining her, extends his hand to her. Rose also extends her hand to him. The plastic sketch of the hands of Rose and the Little Prince stands out with a theatrical pistol.

Rose (sings). The most important thing is not to scare away the fairy tale,
Open the endless windows to the world.
My sailboat is rushing, my sailboat is rushing,
My sailboat is rushing on a fabulous path.

At the loss, the Little Prince moves away from Rose and sits on a chair near the piano. The theatrical pistol illuminates the Little Prince.

Voice. Once upon a time there lived a Little Prince. He lived on a planet that was slightly larger than himself, only the size of a house, and he really missed his friend... The life of the Little Prince was so sad and monotonous! For a long time he had only one entertainment - he admired the sunset. On his planet, all he had to do was move his chair a few steps and look at the sunset sky again, if only he wanted to... Once he saw the sun set forty-three times in one day! You know, when it becomes very sad, it’s good to watch the sun go down... And that day he was especially sad...

Rose sings the fourth quatrain, moves to the middle of the stage and sits down. Only Rose is illuminated.

On the planet, the Little Prince always grew simple, modest flowers - they had few petals, they took up very little space and did not bother anyone. But one day, from a grain brought from nowhere, a tiny sprout sprouted, unlike all the other sprouts and blades of grass. The little prince suddenly felt that he would see a miracle.

“Melody” by A. Rubinstein is playing. The rose rises and “blooms.” Full light on stage. The little prince watches the action in surprise.

Rose (stretching, showing himself in all his glory). Oh, I woke up forcibly... I apologize... I’m still completely disheveled...
The Little Prince (admiringly). How beautiful you are!
Rose (flirty). Yes, really? And note, I was born with the sun. They call me Rose. Be so kind as to take care of me... I am terribly afraid of drafts.
The Little Prince (in surprise, into the hall). What a difficult character this flower has!
Rose(capriciously). When evening comes, cover me with something... It's too cold here. A very uncomfortable planet. Where I came from... (Coughs.) Don't you have a screen?..

"Tarantella" by G. Rossini is playing. Plastic sketch of the Prince - he waters Rose, covers her, blows off specks of dust from her, covers her with his scarf, then sits on a chair near the piano.

Ah, I'm still missing something!
The Little Prince. I listened to her in vain. You should never listen to what flowers say. You just have to look at them and breathe in their scent. My flower has filled my entire planet with fragrance, but I cannot be happy about it. (Rose.) I decided to travel. Farewell! (Tries to leave, but Rose stops him.)
Rose. I was stupid. I'm sorry. And try to be happy.

The phonogram of the song “Almost like Gods” (N. Babkina and E. Gore) sounds. Rose and the Little Prince sing a song while acting out the farewell scene. In the background there are stars and planets.

The Little Prince. Tell me, is there happiness where you came from?
Rose. Eat. But will you find it? After all, it must be felt, heard, suffered. And you don't know how...
The Little Prince. What can't I do?
Rose. Doesn't matter. Fly to that planet. (Shows.) Perhaps you will find what you are looking for there... (Quiet.) And I will wait.

The instrumental theme from the film “Autumn Marathon” plays in the background. The little prince comes to the background and raises his hands. A video screensaver is shown in the backdrop, in which different planets and stars fly towards the audience and fly away. The prince stands against the background, thus creating the illusion of flight. This technique will continue to be used in the future.

Voice. And he flew to the planet that Rose pointed to, hoping that there he would find something that he did not find on his planet - happiness. The planets in this galaxy were located somehow bizarrely, vaguely reminding the Little Prince of something very familiar, kind, causing some inexplicable excitement in his soul.

Full light. The prince smoothly lowers his hands. The sound is “Russian Dance” from the ballet “Swan Lake” by P. Tchaikovsky. The Good King comes onto the stage. He sits majestically on a chair near the piano.

On the first planet there lived a Good King. Dressed in a beautiful robe, he sat on a simple, but at the same time very majestic throne. Next to him was a very strange object - large, bulky, shimmering with black and white reflections that were both frightening and tempting to touch them. The black and white magic was mesmerizing like a sunset.
Good King. And here is my subject!
The Little Prince (surprised). How did he recognize me? After all, he sees me for the first time! Your Majesty, but I am not your subject.
Good King. All people are more or less my subjects. (Pressing the C note on the piano.) I am the Good King.
The Little Prince. Your Majesty, may I ask you?..
Good King. I command you: ask!
The Little Prince. Your Majesty, where is your kingdom?
Good King. Everywhere. (Points to the audience in the hall.)
The Little Prince(surprised). And all this is yours?
Good King (important). Yes.
The Little Prince. And all these stars obey you?
Good King. Well, of course. The stars obey instantly. At my command they can cry, laugh, dance and sing.
The Little Prince. This is not true. Stars don't know how to laugh.
Good King. You are very unhappy if you don't see this. Look…

There is a musical number on stage. At the end of it, the Little Prince and the Good King go out into the middle. “Panorama” by P. Tchaikovsky is playing.

The Little Prince. But it's just music.
Good King(solemnly). This is magical music. This is my kingdom. Music helps us believe in miracles and opens up to us a magical, fabulous world of goodness, light and joy.
The Little Prince. What about happiness?
Good King (grinning). It's nearby. (Pauses.) Next to the stars who know how to laugh.
The Little Prince(to the hall). Strange king... I have to go!
Good King. Go. You'll be back. I know you're all coming back.

The good king leaves the stage. The instrumental theme from the film “Autumn Marathon” plays in the background. The little prince approaches the background, raises his arms and “flies”.

Voice. The second planet belonged to a RARE person. Nowadays it is difficult to meet a person who would completely dissolve in work, who lives by it and for it. That's why they called him that - RARE. He was so busy that when the Little Prince appeared he didn’t even raise his head.

The little prince smoothly lowers his hands. The theme “Intro” from the film “An Ordinary Miracle” plays. A RARE person runs onto the stage. He takes with him cubes decorated to look like piles of books and papers, piles them on top of each other, then carries out a pile of papers in his hands. Sitting on the cubes, it is a rare person who scatters papers. The little prince carefully watches all this fuss from the sidelines.

The Little Prince. Good afternoon!.. Your papers are scattered. Help you collect?
A rare person (counts, writes something). Three and two are five. Five and seven are twelve. Twelve and three are fifteen. Good afternoon. Fifteen and seven - 22. I would be grateful. There is no time to even pick up papers. 22 yes 9 - 31. 31 yes 8 - 39. 39 yes 11 - total 50. Phew... So, as many as fifty!
The Little Prince. Fifty what?
A rare person (turns attention to the Little Prince). Are you still here? Fifty... I don’t know what... I have so much work! I am a serious, rare person, I have no time for chatter!
The Little Prince. But still, fifty what?
A rare person (irritated). I have lived on this planet for so many years, and in all this time I have only been disturbed three times. For the first time, thirty-nine years ago, some kind of heap of documents suddenly fell on me from heaven, which seriously hurt my head, but at the same time did not even deign to shrink or disappear. I then made four mistakes in addition and had to rewrite everything again. The second time, ten years ago, an ugly chair broke under me, which forced me to move to another planet, to another chair. And by the way, I have no time to walk around. I am a serious, RARE person. The third time... (points to the Little Prince) here it is! No, there will be no peace for me! For fifty years I have been doing the necessary work on my planet. I EDIT, REVIEW, REFORM, RETOUCH, REHEARSE, SUMMARY, RECOMMEND... I have no time to dream. I am a serious, RARE person. And you stand here and bother me with your stupid questions.
The Little Prince (perplexed). Is it stupid to find out what you've been doing for 50 years?
A RARE person. You are an unfortunate man! You live next to a world in which art is born, which is filled with beauty, harmony, and fairy tales. And it all started 50 years ago.

The Rare Man and the Little Prince go backstage, taking the cubes with them. The video clip “Meet our school!” is shown. The Rare Man and the Little Prince appear on stage.

That's it. Several thousand stars have already been born and raised in this world.
The Little Prince. So what are you doing with all these stars?
A RARE person. I'm not doing anything. I own them.
The Little Prince. But I have already seen the king who...
A rare person (interrupting). Kings own nothing. They only reign. It's not the same thing at all.
The Little Prince. How can you own the stars?
A RARE person. We need to remember them. The world I live in is such a serious place that it is important to remember all the stars and asterisks.
The Little Prince. Can these stars laugh?
A RARE person. Yes, yes. You will hear it yourself.
The Little Prince. Where can I hear them?
A rare person (waves it off). Fly on. And I need to take care of business. So, write, cook, distribute, compose, count, record, invent, publish, tell, show... Fly, fly, I have no time to chat! You've taken up too much of my precious time. I could very well create another star. However… (Looks carefully.) Maybe I didn't lose that time.

It's a rare person who goes backstage, sorting through papers. The instrumental theme from the film “Autumn Marathon” plays in the background. The prince is “flying” in space again.

Voice. And the Little Prince flew on. He didn't understand anything yet. He did not understand the mysterious words that were spoken to him, and did not find what he was looking for - happiness. He remembered Rose and suddenly thought that he should not have run. Behind the pitiful tricks and tricks of a beautiful flower, one had to guess the tenderness. It was necessary to judge not by words, but by deeds. She gave him her scent and illuminated his life. But he was too young, he did not yet know how to love.

An excerpt from the Chernomor march (lyrical theme) by M. Glinka plays. The little prince walks across the stage, looking around. A CUTE fox appears.

This is where the CUTE fox appeared, who lived on the third planet.
Cute fox. Hello.
The Little Prince (shuddering in surprise). Hello. Who are you?
Cute fox. I am a CUTE fox.
The Little Prince. Why darling?
Cute fox. Don't know. That's what they called me. I like.
The Little Prince. Play with me. I'm so sad...
Cute fox. I can't play with you. I'm not tamed.
The Little Prince. I would be glad, but I have so little time. I still need to make friends and learn different things.
Cute fox. You can only learn those things that you tame. I have many friends. If you tame me, my friends will become your friends.
The Little Prince. What should you do for this?
Cute fox. I will show you what I like and you will become closer to me. And then you will tell me what interests you, and I will be interested along with you.
The Little Prince. What do you like?
Cute fox. I like music and the way my friends sing. I distinguish their voices among thousands of other voices because they have tamed me. Listen here.

The cute fox and the little prince step aside. A musical number is performed on stage.

Do you like it?
The Little Prince. Yes. Let's listen some more.
Voice. And they began to listen again and again. The CUTE fox turned out to have many friends. And they all sang and played, it seemed, only for him. But they did it with such joy that it seemed to the little prince that some mysterious, inexplicable light was emanating from them, such radiant goodness that the prince suddenly felt somehow warm and cozy, as good as at home. And he realized that the friends of the Sweet Fox were also singing for him, the Little Prince. This discovery made his soul feel somehow joyful, and he realized that he had been tamed.

Musical number.

The Little Prince. You know, I have already heard music from one Good King. She was very beautiful, but I didn't feel happy. And I haven't seen stars who can laugh.
Cute fox. Only the heart is vigilant. You can't see the most important thing with your eyes.
The Little Prince. You can’t see the most important thing with your eyes... I have to go. Goodbye... You have become dear to me.
Cute fox. We are forever responsible for everyone we have tamed. Remember this...

The cute fox goes backstage. The instrumental theme from the film “Autumn Marathon” plays in the background. The little prince approaches the backdrop, raises his arms and “flies.”

Voice. He flew on. And on the way, I kept thinking about why he wasn’t sad there, with the CUTE fox and his friends, but now again and again he wanted to look at the sunset. Something was happening in his soul. And he realized that he was forever responsible for the darling fox and the friends who sang for him, and he also realized that he was forever responsible for his Rose... And ahead of him was the fourth planet, which turned out to be very interesting.

The theme of the First Minister from the film “An Ordinary Miracle” is playing. The FANTASTIC PLANER comes onto the stage. He holds a lantern in his hands, which he either lights or extinguishes.

The first thing the Little Prince saw on this planet was a lantern and a Fantastic Phanarman. Why on a small planet lost in the sky, where there are no houses or inhabitants, do you need a lantern and a lamplighter? For the Little Prince it seemed like an unsolved mystery.
The Little Prince (bowing respectfully). Good afternoon. Why did you turn off your lantern now?
Fanarschik. Such an agreement. Good afternoon.
The Little Prince. What kind of agreement is this?
Fanarschik. Turn off the lantern. Good evening. (Lights the lantern.)
The Little Prince. Why did you light it again?
Fanarschik. Such an agreement.
The Little Prince (perplexed). I don't understand.
Fanarschik. And there is nothing to understand. An agreement is an agreement. Good afternoon. (He turns off the flashlight and wipes sweat from his forehead.) My job is hard. Once upon a time it made sense. There were many inhabitants on the planet. I turned off the lantern for them in the morning and lit it again in the evening. I had a day left to rest and a night to sleep... But then the inhabitants grew up and flew to other planets, and they forgot about me. It's so sad when you forget about those who once lit the light for you.
The Little Prince. And then the agreement changed?
Fanarschik. The agreement has not changed! That's the trouble! My planet rotates faster and faster year by year, but the agreement remains the same.
The Little Prince. So what now?
Fanarschik. I don't have a second to rest. Life is getting faster and faster, and no one will think about the poor lamplighters, about those who light the light. Every minute I turn off the lantern and light it again.
The Little Prince (to the hall). Wow, he is so true to his word that he is certainly worthy of admiration! His work still has meaning. When he lights his lantern, it’s as if another star or flower is born. And when he turns off the lantern, it’s as if a star or a flower is falling asleep. Great activity! I would like to help him somehow. (To the fanarschik.) You know, I think I know one remedy. One CUTE fox taught me this. Listen here.

Musical number. The fan-man and the Little Prince enter the stage. The theme of the First Minister from the film “An Ordinary Miracle” plays in the background.

fanarschik (admiringly). Wonderful music! Oh, I forgot to put out the lantern.
The Little Prince. You know, the day ends when the beautiful ends. Turn off the lantern when you get bored or tired of the music.
Fanarschik. But then my light will always be on. You can't get tired of music.
The Little Prince. Wonderful! Let the light always burn, warming the souls and hearts of those who are lost in this vast universe. And may the beauty never end!
Fanarschik. Thank you. You gave me happiness.
The Little Prince (sadly). If I myself knew what it was, happiness. I have to go. Goodbye.
fanarschik (meaningfully). Do not forget me. It happens that thirty years fly by in an instant, and it is important to remember those who lit the light for you.

The fan attender goes backstage. The instrumental theme from the film “Autumn Marathon” plays in the background. The little prince “flies” among the planets and stars.

Voice. And the Little Prince flew on, to the fifth planet of the amazing galaxy.

The little prince smoothly lowers his hands. He goes to the front of the stage, sits on the side portal and looks at the dancer.

The fifth planet turned out to be the smallest. It only contained a lone dancer, a SOLO servant of art, who was so busy with her work that she did not notice anything around. The little prince involuntarily fell in love with her. She danced as if there were a million spectators around her, and she did not feel lonely at all. And it was so beautiful and amazing! Everything is intertwined together: music, beauty, tenderness, passion, admiration. The lonely dancer seemed to own the whole world and had no intention of flying somewhere or looking for something. “I wonder if she’s happy?” - thought the Little Prince.

Choreographic number.

The Little Prince. I wish I could make friends with someone. But her planet is very tiny. There's no room for two. What a pity… (He approaches the backdrop, raises his hands and “flies.”)
Voice. The little prince did not dare admit to himself that he regrets this wonderful planet most of all for one more reason: this lonely dancer strongly reminded him of his Rose, whom he abandoned, leaving him completely alone on the planet. And for a moment he suddenly wanted to return to her, forgetting about why he flew into unknown distances. But he could not return just like that, without finding what he was looking for - happiness. And so he flew further, to the sixth planet...

To the music, the Little Prince walks across the stage and takes a place on the side of the proscenium.

The sixth planet was several tens of times larger than the previous one. Popular people lived on it. Who these people were and what role they played on this planet, the Little Prince did not know. But he had been traveling for a long time and was a little tired. Therefore, he decided to sit down to rest after a long journey. And suddenly it started!

Musical number. After its performance, the instrumental theme from the film “Autumn Marathon” plays. The stage is dark. The Little Prince is illuminated by a theatrical pistol.

The Little Prince (thoughtfully). I would like to know why the stars glow. Probably so that sooner or later everyone can find theirs. Where is my star?
Voice. And suddenly a song began to sound. It was not an easy song. She was born from a long journey under the stars, from many efforts and spiritual impulses. She was like a gift to my heart. The only song that needed to be heard.

Musical number. At the end of the performance, the instrumental theme from the film “Autumn Marathon” plays.

A choreographic number in which seven performers participate. The theme “The Beginning” from the film “Formula of Love” is playing. The Jester SISIDO enters the stage.

The Little Prince. Hello. Who are you?
Jester SISIDO. I'm a joke. STRONG Jester SISHIDO. (He approaches the piano, presses the notes “B”, “B”, “C” in turn.)
The Little Prince. Jesters are usually with the king. Where is your king?
Jester SISIDO. I am a STRONG Jester. The king is behind me. (Press the notes "B" and "C".)
The Little Prince What is your strength?
Jester SISIDO. It often ends with me. (Plays the scale, highlighting the last notes.)
The Little Prince. Why do you always speak in riddles?
Jester SISIDO. I solve all the riddles. (Plays the scale in reverse.)
The Little Prince. And do you know where happiness is?
Jester SISIDO. I know. And you know. Whether it's a house, stars or people, the most beautiful thing about them is what you can't see with your eyes.
The Little Prince. I'm very glad that you agree with my friend Cute Fox. Where do you recommend I go next?
Jester SISIDO. Visit planet Earth. She has a good reputation.
The Little Prince. Goodbye... You know, I flew through all seven planets of the amazing galaxy, but I could not solve its mystery.
Jester SISIDO. You'll never be able to figure it out. This is impossible. Music can't stop being a mystery. Otherwise it will cease to be music. Therefore, it will always remain unique, magical, mysterious. And no one will ever be able to solve it completely.
The Little Prince (surprised). Music?! (Moves to the back and “flies.”)
Voice. And the Little Prince flew to planet Earth, which the Strong Jester SISIDO pointed out to him. And on the way there, he quietly wondered how it was possible not to understand that he was in an amazing musical galaxy. After all, only here you can find answers to all your questions and you can find everything that you have been looking for for so long. Only here it is never sad, only here you can learn to hear, feel, suffer, cry and laugh with the stars. Only here can you learn to believe in miracles and see that the world is full of goodness, light, joy and love. And only here can you be happy with those you have tamed. And when the Little Prince flew up to planet Earth, he saw that they were waiting for him...

Music school students run onto the stage and, together with the Little Prince, sing the song “Together with Us” by the children’s ensemble “Fidgets.” The theme “Stairway to Heaven” by A. Rybnikov from the film “That Same Munchausen” is playing. All participants in the performance take the stage.

The Little Prince. I understand! Happiness is near the stars who know how to laugh. And these stars are next to me! (Points to the children and teachers of the music school.)
Jester SISIDO. Each person has their own stars. For those who wander, they show the way. For others, they are just little lights. For scientists, they are like a problem that needs to be solved.
A RARE person. But to all these people they are mute. And we have very special stars who know how to laugh.
Rose. If you love children, your heart will always bloom. After all, the most beautiful thing about children is that talents are hidden in each of them. But you can't see this with your eyes. You need to search with a heart that is devoted and sensitive, like that of our teachers.
Cute fox. We are forever responsible for everyone we have tamed. Our dear teachers! You will always be responsible for your students.
Fanarschik. And we will never forget about those who once lit the light for us.
Good King. Happy holiday, dear friends! This is our holiday and our music!
Voice. And may happiness never end with music!

The final song “The Magic World of Art” is performed (music by A. Ermolov, lyrics by K. Kryazheva).

(in 9 scenes)

Head of the theater department of the children's art school "Lyceum of Arts" in Tolyatti, Samara region.

Characters:

The Little Prince

Ambitious

Planets (ballet 5-6 people)

Scene 1. The Little Prince and the Pilot

(Music sounds. A mirror ball. A man lies on the stage and looks at the stars. He looks at them for a long time. Then he takes out a sheet of paper from the tablet and builds an airplane. He starts playing with it, launches it into the hall, sees the viewer).

L: When I was six years old, adults convinced me that I would not be an artist. I had to choose another profession, and I trained to be a pilot.

Once, while flying from Paris to Saigon, the engine of the plane failed, and I made an emergency landing in the Libyan desert. I was alone, and I had practically no supplies of water and food. I had a choice to make - fix the plane or die.

(The music is replaced by the noise of the engine. A dialogue between the pilot and the dispatcher on the radio is heard, from which it is clear that the plane is falling. The sound of the fall, the lights turn off. Pause.

Light. The pilot sits near the plane and tries to unscrew the nut. He can't do it. Accidentally hits himself on the finger, throws the key, sits in the foreground. The Little Prince comes out. He examines the plane, picks up a tablet and a pencil.)_

P: Please. draw me a lamb.

(The pilot gets scared. He looks around).

L: You... how did you get here?

P: Draw me a lamb...

L: Are you alone? Where are your parents? Are you far from here?

P: Well please...

L: I need help, I don't have enough water. Where is your camp?

P: There's no one here. Just you and me. Draw a lamb. This is important!

L: Well, okay, okay (draws)

P: No, this one is too frail, he won’t survive with me.

L: OK. Here's another one for you. (draws, gradually gets more and more irritated)

P: I asked for a lamb, and this is an adult ram, you see, it even has horns.

L: What do horns have to do with it!? I'm dying, you know, I'm dying! I don't have water. This nut also doesn’t want to come off, and you’re talking about some little lambs. Take me back to where you came from. Otherwise I won’t be able to take off and I’ll die!

P: Can you fly?

L: Yes! Yes, I can. Here is the plane I fly on. The plane flies because the engine runs inside it. But now the engine has stalled and I can't open the fuselage because the thread on the nut has come off, and if you don't...

P: Yes, you won’t fly far with this! Do you want me to draw you another nut? ( all the pilot’s irritation disappears somewhere, he begins to watch with interest)

L: Baby, tell me where are all the adults you came here with?

P: I didn’t arrive, but flew in.

L: On what?

P: I just wanted to and flew in. I just arrived alone. All the adults I've dated have been very boring. They, like you, were always interested in strange questions. There are no adults on my planet, and I didn't know that all adults are boring.

L: So you're from another planet?

P: Yes, and there is no lamb on my planet. But there is Rose. She is very beautiful, but she misses me... Well, draw a lamb. He will be friends with Rose and play with her while I'm away...

L: (draws and mumbles) I'm not an expert at drawing lambs. Here's a box with three small holes so that the lamb has something to breathe. Your lamb is there, inside.

P: Now this is what is needed. He will play with my Rose and they will not be bored at all. And when he wants to sleep, he will hide in his box. Look - my lamb has fallen asleep...

L: Yes, it’s probably time for us too. Lay down here, baby. Maybe tomorrow you and I will come up with something... What's your name?

P: Prince.

L: Sleep, Little Prince.

P: Good night... Listen, do lambs eat bushes?

L: No, what?

P: It's a pity. If lambs ate bushes, then mine would probably eat all the baobabs, but I need to weed them out every morning.

L: What kind of baobabs?

P: Well, how can you not understand! If you don't weed out the baobabs, they will grow and fill the entire planet. And their roots will go right through and can even tear the planet apart. It's a pity that lambs don't eat baobabs... And while they are still small, while they are still sprouts? Maybe the lambs eat the little baobabs?

L: Yes, perhaps the little ones still eat.

P: Fine.

L: Good night... Prince! Draw me a nut tomorrow... I'll fix the plane.

P:(laughs) Okay. (The prince lies down and falls asleep. The pilot looks at him.)

L: The next morning he drew me a new nut and suddenly my nut was actually loose. But I have already stopped being surprised by anything. I soon learned that the Little Prince really does not live on Earth, but on a tiny planet. We adults call these planets asteroids. The planets are so small that they are not even given names, only numbers. The Little Prince lived on asteroid B-612.

(While the Pilot is speaking, he gets up, goes down from the stage, sits down in

auditorium. Music, mirror ball)

Scene 2. Prince and Rose

(The prince wakes up, stretches, gets up, and begins weeding the sprouts.

Suddenly he discovers a new sprout.)

P: Oh, well, I almost missed it. Although this sprout is not very similar to a baobab sprout!... (looks at him) But maybe this is a new variety of them? (reaches for the sprout)

P: Sorry, but I thought you were a baobab tree.

P: But you are still such a small sprout, and I didn’t know...

P: Of course, now. (runs away, comes running with a watering can, waters)

P: Who are you, and what should I do to help you blossom as quickly as possible?

R: I am Rose. The most beautiful and gentle creature in the entire universe. And you must protect me and take care of me.

P: And then you will blossom?

R: I will blossom when I see fit.

(The prince begins to loosen the ground. The light changes, music, the rose blooms. The prince watches the transformation with delight).

P: How wonderful you are!

R: Yes! And note, I was born with the sun! Well, here I am, ready. Water me.

(waters) Now help me, can't you see? I can't straighten out my paper! (The prince helps her and gets impaled on a thorn)

P: Oh, you have thorns!

R: Certainly! You can't live in this world without thorns. But I'm not afraid of anyone! Let the tigers come! I'm not afraid of their claws!

P: But there are no tigers here. And then, tigers don't eat grass.

R: I'm not grass!

P: Sorry...

R: You are ungrateful and don’t care about me at all! And when they don't care about me, I wither and wither.

P: But I really didn’t want to offend you...

R: And still offended! And quickly remove this stupid screen, don’t you see that it’s blocking my sunlight? ( The prince removes the screen).

R: Here you go. Fine. But since you offended me anyway, I won’t talk to you yet... Until I forgive you.

(He tries to tell her something, but the rose turns away from him.

The little prince comes to the fore).

P: First she asks to put up a screen, then she gets offended that I didn’t remove it. She is very capricious! And all her words are empty! Let him live as he wants! (pause) I'm kind of sad! (pause ) Perhaps I really am ungrateful...

R: Well, okay, for today I forgive you.

P: I'm glad, how glad I am that you spoke to me again, I was wrong, I thought about it and realized it.

R: This is good. (pause) I'm bored, talk to me.

P: Okay, but I don't know what it's about.

R: Tell me about yourself, what are you doing here?

P: I? In the evening I watch the sunset. I really love the sunset, it is very beautiful.

R: What, more beautiful than me?

P: No, what are you talking about! I also care about my planet. Because there is no one else here, and who will take care of her if not me?

R: So what are you doing?

P: I clean up the trash and weed out the baobab sprouts. If you don’t weed them out, then a lot of them will grow, and they will populate the entire area, and all the other flowers will have nowhere to grow. There is such a rule - get up in the morning, wash your face - and put your planet in order!

R: And you're going to do this for the rest of your life - what a waste of time!

P: No, I have long wanted to go on a trip and see what is happening in other places...

R: So you wanted to leave me?

P: No, as soon as you appeared, my life took on a completely different meaning!

R: Don't lie! You wanted to leave me! Well, well, I don't hold you back at all. If you think there are even more beautiful flowers somewhere, then please look for them. You can hit the road now.

P: But now I don’t want to travel at all!

R: Don't pretend, you hurt me again. And I want you to go on a journey and see for yourself that I’m right. Now shower me and leave me alone, I want to sleep.

P: Farewell... (comes forward) I shouldn't have listened to her! You should never listen to what flowers say. You just have to look at them and breathe in their scent. After all, she filled everything around with fragrance... I didn’t understand anything! It was necessary to judge not by words, but by deeds. She gave me her scent, her beauty, she illuminated my whole life, and I...

(Silent scene, the Prince turns away, but Rose reaches out for him, he expects her

she will say something to him, but she is silent).

P: Farewell.

R: I was stupid. Forgive me and try to be happy. Yes, yes, I love you. It's my fault that you didn't know this. Yes, it doesn’t matter. But you were just as stupid as me. Try to be happy...

P:... (stands silently)

R: Don't wait, it's unbearable! You decided to leave, so go!

(The music changes. Rose puts her red cloak on the prince, Prince

comes forward).

P: The flowers are so inconsistent. It's hard for me to leave her, but I've already decided... I'll miss you. Goodbye, Rose!

(The plastic composition “Flight of the Prince” turns into the dance of the Planets. Mirror ball. Its rotation gradually slows down, and the Prince and the King appear on the site).

Scene 3. Prince and King

TO: And here comes the subject! (The prince is scared) Come, I want to look at you! ( The prince yawns).

TO: Etiquette does not allow you to yawn in the presence of the monarch... I forbid you to yawn.

P: I did it by accident. I was on the road for a long time and didn’t sleep at all...

TO: Well, then I command you to yawn. I haven't seen anyone yawn for years. I'm curious about this. So, yawn! This is my order!

P: But I'm timid... I can't take it anymore...

TO: Hm, hm... Then... then I command you to either yawn or not to yawn.

TO: I command you to ask!

P: Your Majesty... where is your kingdom?

TO: Everywhere!

P: Everywhere? And is it all yours?

TO: Yes!

P: And the stars obey you?

TO: Well, of course. The stars obey instantly. I don't tolerate disobedience!

P: Then, then... I would really like to watch the sun set... I really love watching sunsets... Please, do me a favor and command the sun to set!

TO: If I order some general to flutter like a butterfly from flower to flower, or to compose a tragedy, or to turn into a seagull, and the general does not carry out the order, who will be to blame for this - him or me?

P: You, Your Majesty!

TO: Absolutely right. Everyone must be asked what they can give. Power, first of all, must be reasonable. If you command your people to throw themselves into the sea, they will start a revolution. I have the right to demand obedience because my commands are reasonable.

P: What about the sunset?

TO: You will also have sunset. I will demand the sun to go down. But first I will wait for favorable conditions, for this is the wisdom of government.

P: When will the conditions be favorable?

TO: (rummages in his robe, takes out a notebook and looks at it) It will be... today it will be exactly at seven o'clock forty minutes in the evening. And then you will see how exactly my command will be fulfilled.

P: Okay, I have to go.

TO: Stay! I will appoint you as minister.

P: Minister of what?

TO: Well... the Minister of Justice.

P: But there is no one to judge here!

TO: Who knows. I have not yet explored my entire kingdom.

P: (looks around, looks behind the scenes) But it’s true, there is no one here.... Except you!

TO: Then judge yourself. This is the hardest part. Judging yourself is much more difficult than judging others. If you can judge correctly, then you are truly wise.

P: I can judge myself anywhere. For this there is no need for me to stay with you.

TO: Hm, hm... It seems to me that somewhere on my planet there lives an old rat. I often hear her scratching at night. You could judge her. Sentence her to death from time to time. Her life will depend on you. But then every time you will have to have mercy on her. We must take care of the old rat, because we have only one.

P: I don’t like passing down death sentences, and in general, it’s time for me to go!

TO: No, it's not time!

P: If Your Majesty would like your commands to be carried out unquestioningly, you could give a completely prudent command. For example, you could order me to set off without hesitating for a minute... It seems to me that the conditions for this are the most favorable... Well, well, all the best!

(Scene of flight, movement of planets, mirror ball, the king’s voice is heard).

TO: I appoint you as ambassador!...

(Of the dancing Planets, only the Ambitious remains on stage)

Scene 4. The Prince and the Ambitious

(The ambitious man performs the dance, admiring himself. He notices the Prince. He dances without looking at the Prince).

H: Here comes the fan! Hello. In fact, I rarely allow anyone to get close to me. A fan, in a fit of passion, is capable of tearing him to pieces!

P: No no. What do you! I didn't mean to tear you apart at all.

H: Yes? OK then. Since you made it here, you can start admiring me...

P: How does it feel to admire?

H: Well, tell me how beautiful, impeccably charming I am.

P: you are very handsome

H: Yes, did you notice too? Well, I'll even give my little fan a ticket to my next concert.

P: Thanks, but...

H: No buts! Or have you already stopped admiring me?

P: (shrugs shoulders indifferently) No...

H: What? Is there something wrong with the makeup? Has your hair gone bad?

P: No, you're just pr...

H: Well, then start clapping your hands! Well, why are you standing there? Clap your hands!.. Well, hurry up!

P: Why do you need to clap?

H: How stupid you are! Clapping and admiring is so wonderful. This means that you really recognize me as the most beautiful and talented in the whole world. Or do you see someone more worthy here?

P: No...

H: You see. Well, why are you standing there? Get started! ( The Little Prince claps his hands.)

C: More ... ( The little prince claps his hands, but the rhythm gets confused and slows down).

H: I see that you don't respect me at all...

P: But there's no one here anyway...

H: Stupid boy, if you weren’t so small, I would think that you did all this on purpose.

P: Let me ask...

H: But I can teach you a lesson or two. You will clap and admire me, and in the meantime I will answer all your stupid questions. So, get started.

(The Prince begins to clap, the Ambitious Man bows, and blows kisses into the hall).

P: Why is it so important to be respected?

H: Yes, my friends, I am with you again.

P: You didn't answer. why is it so important...

H: Success, what a success!

P: Perhaps it's time for me...

H: I don't see your hands!

(Music sounds, a mirror ball. The ambitious man begins his dance again. The planets join the dance. The prince is in the foreground).

P: Strange people, these adults, they are busy only with themselves, but they think that someone needs them. These adults are strange people...

(The planets float away, the Geographer is on stage. He takes out a magnifying glass and examines his ball. Then he takes out a large book and begins to write something in it).

Scene 5. The Prince and the Geographer

(The Prince notices Geographa, approaches him).

P: Hello.

G: Look! The traveler has arrived! Where are you from?

P: What is this huge book? What are you doing here?

G: I'm a geographer!

P: What is a geographer?

G: This is a scientist who knows where the seas, cities, rivers and deserts are.

P: How interesting! This is the real deal! Your planet must be very beautiful! Do you have oceans?

G: I don't know this.

P: (disappointed) Ooh...Are there any mountains?

G: Don't know.

P: But you are a geographer!

G: That's it! I'm a geographer, not a traveler. The geographer is too important a person; he has no time to walk around. He doesn't leave his office. But he hosts travelers and records their stories. And if one of them tells you something interesting, the geographer makes inquiries and checks whether the traveler is a decent person.

P: Why?

G: Ha! But if a traveler begins to lie, then everything in the geography textbooks will be mixed up. So, if it turns out that the traveler is a decent person, then they check his discovery.

P: How do they check? Do they go and look?

G: Well, no. It's too complicated. They simply require the traveler to provide evidence. But you are a traveler yourself! Tell me about your planet!

P: Well, it's not that interesting for me...

G: Just a minute. (fixes a pencil, leafs through a book) First name, last name, occupation?

P: My name is the Little Prince.

G: Young man, answer the questions correctly. “Little” cannot be a first name, but only a surname. Science does not tolerate inaccuracies. First name - Prince, last name - Little.

So, Mr. Little, describe the place where you came from.

P: Where I live, there are three volcanoes: two active, and one extinct.

G: How can you prove that one is really extinct?

P: I don't know...

G: Badly . (pause) Well, what else can you tell me?

P: I also have a flower, it...

G: We are not interested in flowers.

P: But why, because this is the most beautiful thing I have.

G: Flowers are ephemeral, and I deal only with fundamental things.

P: Didn't understand.

G: Fundamental things are those that do not change over time, and your flower is there today and gone tomorrow. He is ephemeral.

(The Little Prince comes to the fore. Musical chord.

Partial loss of light).

P: So my flower should soon disappear?

G: Of course. (Musical chord. Complete loss of light. The spotlight shines on the prince).

P: My beauty and joy are short-lived... She has nothing to protect herself from the world, she has only four thorns... And I abandoned her... And she was left completely alone... But if I remember that she exists, that means it is not ephemeral. If I remember and love her, then she is alive.

(The prince begins to step back. He no longer says anything, looks back.

G: Flowers are ephemeral.

P:... I remember and love, which means I’m alive...

(“Flowers are ephemeral... I remember and love, which means I’m alive...” - (echo), in the background of the words there is music of flight. The planets change the scenery in a dance. The noise of cars, disturbing, twitchy music.

Voice: “Planet Earth. The climate is average, the soil is soft, 70% covered with water. Six continents. Four oceans. More than two dozen seas. Planet Earth has about one hundred and eleven kings (including black ones), three hundred and eleven million ambitious people, seven thousand geographers - a total of about four billion adults.”

The Prince groups up for landing).

Scene 6. Prince and Snake

(The wind-blown sand rustles quietly. The prince stands up, looks around, there is no one there. Music begins to sound. Snake Dance. The prince looks at the snake in fascination, by the end of the dance it gets very close to him.)

P: Hello!

Z: Hello!

P: It's very deserted and lonely here. Where did I end up?

Z: To Earth. To Africa.

P: How's that? Are there no people on Earth?

Z: This is a desert. Nobody lives here...

P: I would like to know why the stars shine... Probably so that sooner or later everyone can find their own. Look, here is my planet, right above us... But how far it is!

Z: Beautiful planet. What will you do here on Earth?

P: I quarreled with my flower.

Z: Ah, that's it...

P: Where are the people? It's still lonely in the desert...

Z: It's also lonely among people...

P: You are a strange creature...

Z: But I have more power than the king's finger. Everyone I touch returns to the earth from which they came. But you are pure and came from the star...

P: I'm very tired... And I don't understand why the world is so complicated.

Z: I feel sorry for you. You are weak on this Earth, hard as granite. On the day when you bitterly regret leaving the planet, I can help you. I can...

P: I understood perfectly. But why do you always speak in riddles?

Z: I solve all the riddles...

(The snake suddenly disappears. Silence. The prince gets up and starts walking. Music.

The prince stops, deciding where to go next).

Scene 7. Prince and Fox

(Cheerful music sounds. The Fox runs onto the stage in feathers, shys away from the Prince, the Prince - from him. But then they carefully come out to meet each other).

MP: Hello. ( The fox grabs him and throws him to the ground).

L: Shhh! Quiet. Oh no. It seemed like it.

P: Hello!

L: Hello, hello. Have you seen anyone here?

P: No!

L: That's nice...

P: Unless you...

L: But this is a misconception, you know?

P: No.

L: Remember, you've never seen me here. Just like I did you. ...Understood?

P: But we saw each other?!

L: So what? Who will feel worse if we say that we have never seen each other?

P: But this is not true!

(The Fox looks at the Prince with curiosity. They stand on opposite sides of the stage ).

L: Oh, I see you're smart! You can't just be fooled! You see, it's very dangerous here! But you could help me!

P: I would be glad, but I don't know how.

L: The fact is that all our sorrows happen because we are all alone, no one needs us, you know? But if I had someone who thought about me, who would play with me, help me... But here is a deserted place - there is no one, and you could help me find such a friend! Yes, although what can you do, you are so small...

P: Fox...

L: What?

P:...What if I...

L: What will I do?

P: Well, I'll be the one who thinks about you, plays and...

L: This is impossible!

P: But why?

L: We can't become friends because I'm not tamed. You see, you have to tame me.

P: I'd love to, but I don't know how to do it.

L: Oh, it's easy! But for this you need to try hard. To tame means to create bonds. Understand?

P: No, not really.

L: Look, for me you are still just a little boy, just like a hundred thousand other boys. And I don't need you. And you don't need me either. For you I am only a fox, exactly the same as a hundred thousand other foxes. But if you tame me, we will need each other. You will be the only one for me in the whole world. And for you I will be alone in the whole world... Do you understand?

P: It seems so. There is one Rose... she probably tamed me...

L: It’s very possible, but that’s not what we’re talking about now. My life is boring. I hunt chickens, and people hunt me. All chickens are the same, and all people are the same. And my life is a bit boring. But if you tame me, my life will definitely be illuminated by the sun. I will distinguish you among thousands of others. When I hear footsteps, I always run and hide, but your walk will call me like music, and I will come out of my hiding place.
My life will become much happier...

P: But it probably takes a lot of time, and for me...

L: Both time and work, do you think you can make someone happy if you don’t put your strength, your soul, all of yourself into it?

P: What about my Rose? If I tame you, she will be completely sad there alone.

L: But you already tamed her! You've already made her happy! Now it's my turn. So, get started!

P: Yes, but I don't know how!

L: It's easy! I will teach you, but you need to be patient!
First, sit over there, at a distance, so as not to scare me. And I will look sideways at you, and you remain silent. Words make it difficult to understand each other.

P: A ...( The fox moves away).

L: No, don't say anything. See, you scared me!

(The Fox and the Little Prince sit and look at each other for a while).

L: Well, I’ve almost gotten used to you and am slowly stopping being afraid. Now you can sit a little closer. Like this. Then, when I get even more used to you, you can move even closer.

P: Will I see when this moment comes?

L: You will feel it. Remember, only the heart is vigilant, you cannot see the main thing with your eyes!

(They sit again for a while. The fox goes about his business: cleaning his skin, claws. The prince moves closer to him).

L: Here! You see, you already guessed the moment correctly. Maybe I’ll even come up to you myself and sniff your hands.

(The fox slowly approaches him. The Little Prince wants to pet him, but he shy away).

L: It's early, it's too early!

P: But then I won’t have time to tame you until the evening?

L: You will come here tomorrow, then the day after tomorrow, and so on, until we become friends, and then... But for today, perhaps, that’s enough! And now I want to do something for you!

P: For me?

L: Do you like roses? You and I will go to the garden now. Close your eyes.

(The Prince closes his eyes. Music plays. Roses appear and dance. The Prince opens his eyes).

L: Well, do you like it here?

P: Yes, but...

L: I knew you'd like it!

P: (whispers) But they all look so much like my Rose, and I thought... she said that she was the only one in the world.

L: Oh, you can't believe everything they say! Ask them which one is the most beautiful. (Addresses the roses ) Which one of you is the most beautiful?

(Roses all together): I! Of course I am! What doubts can there be?

L: Do you see? Can they really be right at the same time? Words are empty, there is little truth in them.

P: Yes, but she's the same MY Rose! I took care of it, I collected caterpillars, put up a screen so it wouldn’t get blown out, covered it with a cap at night...

L: They are all yours. I give them to you. Choose any! And look after her if you like. ( Music).

P: (to himself) And I, I thought that I owned the only flower in the world that no one else had anywhere, but this was the most ordinary ROSE . What am I like after this? PRINCE ?

L: You take everything too seriously. Relax, it needs to be simpler. Do you like it here?

P: They are all so beautiful... And so empty! They are all so similar...

L: It's okay, you'll get used to it.

P: They don't need me... I guess I haven't tamed them. And they, do I need them?... I need only one Rose... My Rose!.. And she needs me too. ...You know...I probably need to move on...

L: How can this be, since we just became friends?...

P: Sorry, but my Rose is waiting for me. Remember what you said yourself?... She is the only one for me... and she feels bad without me.

L: But you already left her, you already hurt her, and you can’t fix it! What about me? What about me?

P: Sorry...

L: You tamed me, I can’t live without you anymore!...

P: I'm sorry ... (Music of parting).

L: (in despair) Now every day I will come to the place where we met and wait. Wait for hours, looking sadly at the sky. And my heart will ache. The sun will already set behind the horizon, but I will still wait for you, wait and hope. I won't be able to forget you. And I know that I will never see you again, but I will still hope and hope... and wait. ( Silence).

P: (in complete silence) Sorry. (The light hides the Fox and the Roses. They disappear).

Scene 8. Prince and Pilot

(The Prince is left alone. He sits on the proscenium, looks at his star. Then he lowers his head, buries his face in his knees. Music. The Pilot rises from the auditorium and sits next to the Prince).

L: This is the story the Little Prince told me. I looked at him and couldn’t understand where there was so much wisdom in this little man. However, the Little Prince still did not understand one thing. He never experienced hunger or thirst. A ray of sunshine was enough for him, but meanwhile I had almost run out of water. It was still far from the end of the repairs, and I was gradually preparing to die of thirst ( goes to the plane, continues to repair it, the Prince wakes up).

P: Good morning!

L: I don’t know how kind it is, but still... Hello!

P: What are you doing?

L: Just like yesterday, I am repairing the plane.

P: Strange people - adults. They think that they are busy with the most serious business, but they do not see that they are wasting their time...

L: What do you tell me to do?

P: Look how beautiful the sun rises! Isn't it more important than fixing a plane to see the sun rise?

L: (short) Don't know.

P: Strange people - adults... The fox with whom I became friends...

L: My dear, please understand, I have no time for Fox right now!

P: Why?

L: Because you will have to die of thirst...

P: It's good if you have a friend, even if you have to die. I’m very glad that I made friends with Fox. The heart also needs water...

L: Yes, sure (leaves the plane and approaches the Prince)

P: The desert is also beautiful...

L: This is true. I've always liked the desert. You sit on a sand dune, you can’t see anything, you can’t hear anything. And yet the silence seems to radiate...

P: Do you know why the desert is so good? Springs are hidden somewhere in it.

L: Yes, be it a house, or the stars, or the desert, the most beautiful thing about them is what you cannot see with your eyes...

P: People on your planet grow five thousand roses in one garden... and do not find what they are looking for...

L: They don't find...

P: But everything that they are looking for can be found in one single rose... But the eyes are blind, you have to look with your heart... Are you still thirsty?

L: I don't know, probably not...

P: Then go to the plane. You will definitely succeed, and you will fly back.

L: And you?

P: And I’ll sit here a little longer... I’ll look at the desert. ( The pilot leaves for the plane. The music changes).

Scene 9. Return of the Prince

(The Snake appears).

P: Have you come? Hello.

Z: You called me!

P: Won't you make me suffer for a long time? Do you have good poison?

Z: I'll make sure you don't feel anything. You will simply fall asleep in a quiet and gentle sleep.

P: Thank you... My body has become too heavy, I can’t carry it myself, and I really need to go back ... (The snake reaches out to him.)

P: Wait... I want to look at Earth a little more. I'll probably never come back here again. I want to remember this place: these sands and this sun before sunset. You know I'm afraid...

Z: No need to be afraid...

P: Today marks exactly one year since I got here. My star will be just above the place where I fell. Do you remember?

Z: Yes, I remember...

P: I'm very tired... And I'm afraid... Please make it happen very quickly... I love you very much and I believe you...

Z: I love you too. (Kisses him on the neck) Fly, baby.

(The prince opens his arms as before a flight, turns his back and slowly begins to climb up the podium - the wing of the airplane. The wing levels out).

P: (turning to the hall) How I want to sleep.

L: ( The pilot runs in) Baby, I fixed it, I don’t believe it myself! Tomorrow we will fly away from here with you! We'll return home...

Z: Sleep... (disappears)

L: Baby, what happened?

P: I will also return home today. I need to go back (unties the cloak, raises his hands, reaches for the stars, but falls into the hands of the pilot. The cloak separates from the Prince, he is slowly carried away).

L: Wake up, baby, wake up. It hurts me to look at you.

P: You think I'm dying, but that's not true...

L: (hopelessly) Baby...

P: It's like shedding an old shell. There is nothing sad here.

L: (hopelessly) Baby don't leave me.

P: You drew me a lamb, and I take it with me, and leave you my gift. At night, you will look at the sky and see many, many stars. And among them there will be one where I live, where I laugh. And you will hear all the stars start laughing. You will have stars who know how to laugh!
And you will be consoled, you will be glad that you once knew me. You have always been my friend. You'll want to laugh with me...

(Silence).

P: Goodbye Little Prince...

(The light weakens. The music increases. Rose runs out onto the stage. She has a cloak in her hands. She strokes and caresses him like a living creature, then wraps herself comfortably in

him and leaves. Darkness. Mirror ball. Curtain.)

1)The pilot and the little prince

Pilot: Six years ago I had to make an emergency landing in the Sahara. Something broke in the engine of my plane. I had to fix the engine myself or... die.
The Little Prince: Please draw me a lamb!
Pilot: Here's a box for you. And your lamb sits in it.
The Little Prince: This is exactly what I need! Do you think he eats a lot of grass? After all, I have very little at home...
Pilot : He's had enough. I'm giving you a very small lamb.
The Little Prince: He's not that small... Look, he fell asleep! ...What is this thing?
Pilot: This is my plane. He flies.
The Little Prince: Did you fall from the sky? Funny! You also came from heaven. And from what planet?
Pilot: Did you come here from another planet?
The Little Prince: Well, you couldn't fly this thing from far away.
Pilot: Where is your home? Where do you want to take your lamb?
The Little Prince : Tell me, do lambs really eat bushes?
Pilot: Yes, it's true.
The Little Prince: That's good! So they eat baobabs too?
Pilot: But does your lamb benefit from eating small baobabs?
The Little Prince : On my planet there are terrible, evil seeds... These are baobab seeds. And if the planet is small. And there are a lot of baobabs - they will tear it to shreds. ... There is such a firm rule. Got up in the morning, washed, put myself in order - and immediately... bring.... get your planet in order! ... If a lamb eats bushes, does it also eat flowers?
Pilot: He eats everything he comes across.
The Little Prince : Even flowers that have thorns?
Pilot : Yes, and those with thorns.
The Little Prince : Then why the spikes? ... Why are spikes needed?
Pilot: The thorns are not needed for any reason; the flowers release them simply out of anger.
The Little Prince : That's it! I don't believe you! Flowers are weak and simple-minded. And they try to give themselves courage. They think that if they have thorns, everyone is afraid of them... And you think that flowers...
Pilot: No! I don't think anything! You see, I'm busy with serious business.
The Little Prince : Seriously? You speak like adults! ... I know one planet. There lives such a gentleman... In his entire life he has never smelled a flower, never once looked at a star. He never loved anyone. He is busy with one thing, he adds up numbers, and from morning to night repeats: “I am a serious person! I’m a serious person!” He's not really human. He is a mushroom.
Pilot: What?
M scarlet prince: Mushroom. ... For millions of years, flowers grow thorns, and for millions of years, lambs still eat flowers. Is it really not important that lambs and flowers fight each other? ... And if I know the only flower in the world, it grows only on my planet. And one fine morning the little lamb will suddenly take it and eat it. And he won't even know what he did? And in your opinion this is not important?... My flower lives there... But if the lamb eats it, it’s the same as if all the stars went out at once! (crying)
Pilot: Don't cry, baby. The flower you love is not in danger. I will draw a muzzle for your lamb, and armor for your flower... Better tell me about your planet, and about all your travels.

2) Rose and the Little Prince

Rose: Oh, I woke up forcibly... I apologize... I’m still completely disheveled...
The Little Prince: How beautiful you are!
Rose: Yes, really? And note, I was born with the sun. ... It seems it's time for breakfast. Be so kind as to take care of me...Let the tigers come, I am not afraid of their claws!
The Little Prince: There are no tigers on my planet. And then, tigers don't eat grass.
Rose: I am not grass. (hard)
The Little Prince : Forgive me...
Rose: No, tigers are not scary to me. But I'm terribly afraid of drafts. Don't have a screen? When evening comes, cover me with a cap. It's too cold here. A very uncomfortable planet. Where I came from... And where is the screen?
The Little Prince: I wanted to follow her, but I couldn’t help but listen to you!
Rose: Goodbye! I don't need the screen anymore!
The Little Prince: But the wind...
Rose: I'm not that cold. The freshness of the night will do me good. After all, I am a flower!
The Little Prince: But animals, insects...
Rose : I must tolerate two or three caterpillars if I want to meet butterflies. They must be lovely. Otherwise, who will visit me? You'll be far away. But I’m not afraid of big animals, I also have claws!
The Little Prince : Goodbye!
Rose: Don't wait, it's unbearable! I decided to leave - so go!
The Little Prince: (sharply) Goodbye!
Rose: I I was stupid... Forgive me... Come back!!
The Little Prince: ... I listened to her in vain. You should never listen to what flowers say. You just have to look at them and breathe in their scent. And I got angry! I shouldn't have run! We must judge not by words, but by deeds!

3) The King and the Little Prince

The Little Prince: On the first planet there lived a king.
King: Ah, here comes the subject! Come, I want to look at you. ... Etiquette does not allow yawning in the presence of the monarch. I forbid you to yawn.
The Little Prince: I did it by accident. I was on the road for a long time and didn’t sleep at all...
King : Well, then I command you to yawn. I'm even curious about this. So, yawn! This is my order!
The Little Prince: But I... I can't do it anymore.
King: Then, hmm... Hmm... Then I command you to either yawn or not to yawn.
The Little Prince: Can I sit down?
King: I command: sit down!
The Little Prince: Your Majesty, may I ask you?
King: I command you: ask!
The Little Prince : Your Majesty... Where is your kingdom?
King: Everywhere!
The Little Prince: Everywhere? And all this is yours?
King: Yes!
The Little Prince: And the stars obey you?
King: Well, of course, the Stars obey instantly. I don't tolerate disobedience.
The Little Prince: Your Majesty, I would like to watch the sunset... Please do me the favor of commanding the Sun to set.
King : If I order some general to flutter like a butterfly from flower to flower, or to compose a tragedy, or to turn into a seagull, and the general does not carry out the order, who will be to blame for this? Him or me?
The Little Prince: You, Your Majesty!
King: Absolutely right. Everyone must be asked what they can give. Power, first of all, must be reasonable. If you command your people to throw themselves into the sea, they will start a revolution. My orders must be reasonable.
The Little Prince: What about the sunset?
King: You will also have sunset. I will demand that the sun go down, but first I will wait for favorable conditions, for this is the wisdom of a ruler.
The Little Prince: When will the conditions be favorable?
King: It will be... Hmm... Today it will be at seven forty minutes in the evening. And then you will see how exactly my command will be fulfilled.
The Little Prince: I have to go. There's nothing else for me to do here.
King: Stay!
The Little Prince : I have to go.
King: No, it's not time!
The Little Prince: If Your Majesty desires that your commands be carried out unquestioningly, give a prudent order. Order me to set off without hesitating for a minute... It seems to me that the conditions for this are the most favorable.
King: I appoint you as an ambassador!
The Little Prince: Strange people, these adults.

4) The Ambitious Man and the Little Prince

Ambitious: And here comes an admirer!
The Little Prince: Good afternoon
Ambitious: Good afternoon
The Little Prince: What a funny hat you have!
Ambitious: This is for bowing when greeted. Unfortunately, no one comes here. ...Clap your hands.
The Little Prince: It's more fun here than the old King's. (claps his hands) What needs to be done to make the hat fall off?
Ambitious: Are you really my enthusiastic admirer?
The Little Prince: What is it like to read?
Ambitious: To honor means to admit that on this planet I am the most beautiful, the most elegant, the smartest and the richest.
The Little Prince: But there is no one else on your planet!
Ambitious: Well, give me pleasure, admire me anyway.
The Little Prince: I admire! But what joy does this give you? Really, adults are very strange people.

5) The Drunkard and the Little Prince

The Little Prince: Hey, what are you doing?
Drunkard: I drink.
The Little Prince: For what?
Drunkard: To forget.
The Little Prince: What to forget?
Drunkard: I want to forget that I am ashamed.
The Little Prince: Why are you ashamed?
Drunkard : Drink ashamedly.
The Little Prince: Why are you drinking?
Drunkard: To forget.
The Little Prince: Forget what?
Drunkard: What am I ashamed to drink?
The Little Prince: Yes, really, adults are very, very strange people. The next planet belonged to a business man.

6) Business man and the Little Prince

The Little Prince: Good afternoon.
Business man: Three and two are five. Five to seven is twelve. Twelve and three are fifteen.
The Little Prince: Good afternoon.
Business man: I have been living on this planet for many years, and in all that time I have only been disturbed three times. The cockchafer flew here for the first time. He made a terrible noise and then I made four mistakes
in addition. The second time I had an attack of rheumatism from a sedentary lifestyle. I don’t have time to walk around, I’m a serious person. The third time - here it is! So, therefore, 500 million...
The Little Prince : Millions of what?
Business man: 500 million of these little things that are sometimes visible in the air.
The Little Prince: What are these, flies?
Business man : No, so small, shiny...
The Little Prince: Bees?
Business man: No, no. So small, golden, every lazy person looks at them and starts daydreaming. But I am a serious person, I have no time to dream.
The Little Prince: A?! Stars!
Business man : That's it. Stars.
The Little Prince: 500 million stars? What are you doing with them all?
Business man : 501 million 622 thousand 731. I am a serious person. I love precision.
The Little Prince: What are you doing with all these stars?
Business man: What am I doing?
The Little Prince: Yes.
Business man: I'm not doing anything. I own them.
The Little Prince: Do you own the stars?
Business man : Yes.
The Little Prince: But I have already met the King who...
Business man: Kings own nothing. They only reign. It's not the same thing at all.
The Little Prince: Why do you need to own the stars?
Business man: To buy new stars if someone discovers them.
The Little Prince: How can you own the stars?
Business man: Whose stars?
The Little Prince: Don't know. Draws.
Business man: That means mine, because I was the first to think of it.
The Little Prince: Is that enough?
Business man: Well, of course. If you find a diamond that does not have an owner, then it is yours. If you find an island that has no owner, it is yours. If you are the first to come up with an idea, you take out a patent for it; she is yours. I own the stars because no one before me thought of owning them.
The Little Prince: What do you do with them? With the stars?
Business man : I dispose of them. I count them and recount them. It's very difficult. But I am a serious person.
The Little Prince: If I have a silk scarf, I can tie it around my neck and take it with me. If I have a flower, I can pick it and take it with me. But you can’t take the stars, can you?
Business man: No, but I can put them in the bank.
The Little Prince: How is this?
Business man: And so, I write on a piece of paper how many stars I have. Then I put this piece of paper in the box and lock it with a key.
The Little Prince: That's all?
Business man : That's enough.
The Little Prince: I have a flower and I water it every day. I have three volcanoes and I clean them out every week. I clean all three, and the one that went out too. You never know what can happen. It is good for both my volcanoes and my flower that I own them. And the stars have no use for you. ... No, adults are truly amazing people.

7) The Lamplighter and the Little Prince

The Little Prince : Good afternoon. Why did you turn off your lantern now?
Lamplighter: Such an agreement. Good afternoon.
The Little Prince: What kind of agreement is this?
Lamplighter: Turn off the lantern. Good evening.
The Little Prince : Why did you light it again?
Lamplighter: Such an agreement.
The Little Prince: I don't understand.
Lamplighter: And there is nothing to understand. An agreement is an agreement. Good afternoon. This is a hard craft. Once upon a time it made sense. I turned off the lantern in the morning and lit it again in the evening. I still had a day to rest and a night to sleep.
The Little Prince: And then the agreement changed?
Lamplighter: The agreement did not change, that’s the problem! My planet rotates faster and faster year after year, but the agreement remains the same.
The Little Prince: So what now?
Lamplighter: Yes, that's it. The planet makes a full revolution in one minute, and I don't have a second to rest. Every minute I turn off the lantern and light it again.
The Little Prince: That's funny! So your day only lasts one minute!
Lamplighter : Nothing funny. We've been talking for a month now.
The Little Prince : A whole month?!
Lamplighter : Well, yes. Thirty minutes, thirty days. Good evening.
The Little Prince: Listen, I know a remedy: you can rest whenever you want...
Lamplighter : I always want to relax.
The Little Prince : Your planet is so tiny. You can walk around it in three steps. You just need to walk at such a speed that you stay in the sun the whole time. And the day will last as long as you wish.
Lamplighter: More than anything in the world I love to sleep.
The Little Prince : Then it’s bad for you.
Lamplighter: My business is bad. Good afternoon.
The Little Prince: Here is a man who would be despised by a king, an ambitious man, a drunkard, and a businessman. And yet, of all of them, he is the only one who is not funny. Maybe because he thinks not only about himself. I wish I could make friends with someone. On this planet you can admire sunsets a thousand times.

8) The Geographer and the Little Prince

Geographer : The traveler has arrived! Where are you from?
The Little Prince: What are you doing here?
Geographer: I'm a geographer.
The Little Prince: What is a geographer?
Geographer: This is a scientist who knows where the seas, rivers, cities and deserts are.
The Little Prince: How interesting! This is the real deal! Your planet is very beautiful. Do you have oceans?
Geographer: I don't know this.
The Little Prince: Are there any mountains?
Geographer: Don't know.
The Little Prince: What about cities, rivers, deserts?
Geographer: I am a geographer, not a traveler. The geographer is too important a person; he has no time to walk around. But he hosts travelers and records their stories. And if one of them tells something interesting, the geographer makes inquiries and checks whether this traveler is a decent person. If the traveler begins to lie, then everything will be mixed up in the geography textbooks. And if he drinks too much, that’s also a problem.
The Little Prince: Why?
Geographer: Because drunkards see double. And where there is actually one mountain, the geographer will mark two.
The Little Prince : How do they check the discovery? Do they go and look?
Geographer: No. They simply require the traveler to provide evidence. Tell me about your planet. I'm listening to you.
The Little Prince: Well, it's not that interesting for me there. Everything I have is very small. There are three volcanoes. Two are active, one is extinguished. Then I have a flower.
Geographer: We don't celebrate flowers.
The Little Prince : Why? This is the most beautiful!
Geographer: Because flowers are ephemeral. We write about things that are eternal and unchanging.
The Little Prince : What is ephemeral?
Geographer: This means something that should soon disappear.
Little Prince ts: And my flower should disappear soon?
Geographer: Of course.
The Little Prince: My Rose "must disappear"? And I abandoned her, she was left completely alone on my planet.

9) The Snake and the Little Prince

The Little Prince: I would like to know why the stars glow? Probably so that sooner or later everyone can find theirs. Here is my planet... But how far away it is...!
Snake: Beautiful planet. What are you doing here on Earth?
The Little Prince: I quarreled with my flower...
Snake : Oh, that's it...
The Little Prince : Where are the people?
Snake: It's lonely among people...
The Little Prince: You are a strange creature... Little...
Snake: But I have more power than the King.
The Little Prince: Well, are you really that powerful?
Snake : I can take you further than any ship. I return everyone I touch to the Earth from which he came...On the day when you bitterly regret your abandoned planet, I will be able to help you. I can…
The Little Prince: I understood perfectly... But why do you always speak in riddles?
Snake: I solve all the riddles.

10) The Fox and the Little Prince

Fox: Hello!
The Little Prince: Hello.
Fox: I'm here... Under the apple tree.
The Little Prince : Who are you? How beautiful you are!
Fox: I am Fox.
The Little Prince: Play with me. I'm upset.
Fox: I can't play with you. I'm not tamed.
The Little Prince: How is it to tame it?
Fox: You're not from here. What are you looking for here?
The Little Prince: I'm looking for people. How is it to tame it?
Fox: People have guns and go hunting. This is very inconvenient. And they also raise chickens. That's the only thing they're good for. Are you looking for chickens?
The Little Prince: No. I'm looking for friends. How is it to tame it?
Fox: This is a long forgotten concept. It means "to create bonds"
The Little Prince: Bonds?
Fox: That's it. For me, you are still just a little boy, like a hundred thousand other boys. And I don't need you. And you don't need me either. For you, I am just a fox, exactly the same as a hundred thousand other foxes. But if you tame me, we will need each other. You will be the only one for me in the whole world. And I will be alone for you in the whole world.
The Little Prince: I’m starting to understand... There was one Rose... She probably tamed me...
Fox : Very possible. There's just so much that doesn't happen on Earth.
The Little Prince: This was not on Earth.
Fox: On another planet?
The Little Prince : Yes.
Fox: Are there hunters on this planet?
The Little Prince : No.
Fox : How interesting! Are there any chickens?
The Little Prince : No.
Fox: There is no perfection in the world! My life is boring. I hunt chickens and people hunt me. All chickens are the same, and all people are the same. And my life is a bit boring. But if you tame me, my life will be illuminated by the sun. I will begin to distinguish your steps among thousands of other steps. When I hear people's steps, I always run and hide. But your walk will call me like music... Please tame me!
The Little Prince : I would be glad, but I have so little time. I still need to make friends and learn different things.
Fox: You can only learn things that you can tame. People no longer have enough time to learn anything. They buy things ready-made in stores. But there are no such shops where friends would trade, and therefore people no longer have friends. If you want to have a friend, tame me!
The Little Prince: What should you do for this?
Fox : We must be patient. First, sit there, at a distance... Like this. I will look sideways at you, and you remain silent. Words only interfere with understanding each other. But every day, sit a little closer... closer... It’s better to always come at the same hour... Now, if you come at four o’clock, I’ll feel happy already from three o’clock. You must always come at the appointed time, I will already know at what time to prepare my heart... You must follow the rituals.
The Little Prince : So I tamed the Fox
Fox: I will cry for you.
The Little Prince : It’s your own fault... I didn’t want you to be hurt, you yourself wanted me to tame you...
Fox: Yes, sure!
The Little Prince : But you will cry!
Fox: Yes, sure.
The Little Prince: So it makes you feel bad.
Fox: No, I feel good!... Here's my secret, it's very simple! Only the heart is vigilant. You can't see the most important thing with your eyes.
The Little Prince: You can't see the most important thing with your eyes.
Fox: T Howling Rose is dear to you because you gave her your whole soul.
The Little Prince: I gave my whole soul to her.
Fox : People have forgotten this truth, but don’t forget: you are always responsible for everyone you tamed. You are responsible for your Rose.
The Little Prince: I am responsible for my Rose.

11) The pilot and the little prince

Pilot: Yes, everything you say, baby, is very interesting... But I haven’t fixed my plane yet and I don’t have a drop of water left.
The Little Prince : The fox I became friends with...
Pilot: My dear, I have no time for Fox right now.
The Little Prince: Why?
Pilot: Yes, because you will have to die of thirst...
Little Prince ts: It’s good to have a friend, even if you have to die. I’m very glad that I was friends with Lis.
Pilot: You don't understand how great the danger is. You have never experienced hunger or thirst... A ray of sunshine is enough for you...
The Little Prince: I’m thirsty too... Let’s go look for a well...
Pilot: So you also know what thirst is?
The Little Prince : The heart also needs water...
The Little Prince : The stars are very beautiful, because somewhere there is a flower, although it is not visible...
Pilot: Yes, sure.
The Little Prince: And the desert is beautiful... Do you know why the desert is beautiful? Springs are hidden somewhere in it...
Pilot: Yes, whether it’s the stars or the desert, the most beautiful thing about them is what you can’t see with your eyes.
The Little Prince: Look! Well! Everything seems to be prepared for us. Hey! E-hey! Do you hear? We woke up the well and it began to sing. Water is a gift to the heart! On your planet, people grow five thousand roses and do not find what they are looking for.
Pilot: They don't find it.
The Little Prince : But whatever they are looking for can be found in one single rose, in one sip of water.
Pilot: D oh, of course.
The Little Prince : But the eyes are blind. You have to search with your heart!
Pilot : You're up to something and you're not telling me.
The Little Prince: You know, tomorrow it will be a year since I came to you on Earth.
Pilot: So it wasn’t by chance that you ended up here alone, you were returning to the place where you fell then? … I'm scared…

12) The Snake and the Little Prince

Snake : I'll come here tonight. You will find my footprints in the sand. And then wait.
The Little Prince : Now go away... I want to be alone.

13) The pilot and the little prince

Pilot: What are you thinking, baby? Why do you start talking to snakes?
The Little Prince: I'm glad you found what was wrong with your car. Now you can return home...
Pilot: How do you know?
The Little Prince : And I will also return home today. It's much further... and much... more difficult.
Pilot: I want to hear you laugh again, baby!
The Little Prince: Tonight my star will be exactly above the place where I fell a year ago...
Pilot: Listen, kid, this whole thing - the snake and the date with the star - is just a bad dream, isn't it?
The Little Prince: The most important thing is what you cannot see with your eyes. My star is very small, I can’t show it to you. It's better that way. She will be just one of the stars for you. And you will love to look at the stars... They will all become your friends. And then I'll give you something.

Laughs loudly

Pilot: Oh, baby, baby, how I love it when you laugh!
The Little Prince: This is my gift. For everyone, stars are dumb, for scientists they are like a problem that needs to be solved, for a businessman they are gold, for others they are just little lights. And you will have very special stars.
Pilot: How so?
The Little Prince : You will look at the sky at night and hear that all the stars are laughing. You will have stars who know how to laugh! You will open the window at night and laugh yourself, looking at the sky. It’s as if I gave you a whole bunch of laughing bells instead of stars... You know... Tonight... It’s better not to come.
Pilot: I won't leave you.
The Little Prince: It will seem to you that it hurts me... That’s how it happens. Don't come, don't.
Pilot: I won't leave you.
The Little Prince : You see... It's also because of the snake. What if she bites you... Snakes are evil. For them, stinging someone is a pleasure.
Pilot: I won't leave you!
The Little Prince : There’s nothing sad here... Think about it! How funny! You will have five hundred billion bells, and I will have five hundred million springs... You know... My rose... I am responsible for her. She is so weak and so simple-minded. Well... That's all...

The pilot turns away

Pilot: That's all. If you ever visit Africa, stay under this star. And if a little boy comes up to you... And he won’t answer your questions... You, of course, will guess who he is!

Explanatory note

The stage is decorated in yellowish tones. On the left side of the stage there is a raised platform (chairs covered with curtains), on the right there is a lamppost (coat hanger). A red paper lantern made by children’s hands will then hang on it. Behind the background are stars and planets. On a portable board - 2 Whatman paper, a marker prepared. Quotes are written out in advance on separate strips of paper:

“Everyone must be asked what he can give”

“Authority must first of all be reasonable”

“You are forever responsible for those you tamed”

“Lamps must be taken care of: a gust of wind can extinguish them”

They can be attached to the background as the play progresses (students are specifically assigned). Costumes are designed by children and parents themselves. It is necessary to involve as many students as possible. This will increase their interest in the performance and in the subject as a whole.

Scenario

Introduction to the performance

Option 1 (for Teacher's Day)

1st presenter: “Childhood is a huge land from which everyone comes,” wrote Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

2nd presenter: On a day like this, it is customary to give gifts. And we, who also once came from childhood, present with all our hearts, our dear mentors, the play “The Little Prince”, staged based on the fairy tale story of the same name by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

Looking at the environment through the eyes of a child, trying to understand his world, his soul, helping him not to die is what Antoine, the French pilot who died heroically in an air battle with the Nazis in 1944, calls for.

1st presenter: The greatness of the teaching profession is that it unites souls. There are too many people in the world who have not been helped to awaken.

Look through the eyes of a mother or father at your students: they need your friendship, your love and participation. “The only true luxury is the luxury of human communication,” said Exupery. - “Remember, you are always responsible for those you have tamed.”

Option 2 (for children's audience)

1st presenter: Hello, dear guys! Today we will show you the play “The Little Prince”, based on the fairy tale story of the same name by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, an excellent French writer and pilot who died heroically in an air battle with the Nazis in 1944.

2nd presenter: In this fairy tale, Antoine talks about the Little Prince, who looks at the world through a child's eyes. He is inquisitive, tireless and very kind. A very capricious rose grows on his planet. He wants to punish her for this and... goes on a journey.

By the end of the fairy tale, the prince understood what love, loyalty, and friendship are. And although he was very sorry to part with his friends: the Author and the Fox, he cannot remain in the world of businessmen, ambitious and drunkards, in the world of people who do not understand him.

2nd presenter: He felt that he simply needed to return home, to Rose, who could die without him. After all, he is responsible for her.

Author: I am the author of the fairy tale “The Little Prince” and I want you to tell me what it is. Hat? And you didn’t understand me... This is a boa constrictor that swallowed an elephant. That's why I had to give up my career as an artist as a child and become a pilot.

So I lived alone for a long time. But one day I had to make an emergency landing in the Sahara. Something broke in the engine of my plane. There was no one to help me, so I decided to fix everything myself. Tired, I fell asleep. At dawn I was awakened by a thin voice.

PRINCE: Please draw me a lamb.

PRINCE: Draw me a lamb.

PRINCE: This is what I need. Where did you come from?

PRINCE: From the sky? And from what planet?

PRINCE: I have very little space there.

PRINCE: Do lambs eat bushes?

PRINCE: That’s good, that means they eat baobabs too. I have baobab trees, and I'm afraid they will destroy the planet, they will tear it to shreds. There is such a firm rule. Get up in the morning, wash your face, put yourself in order - and immediately put your planet in order.

PRINCE: I really love sunsets. You know, when it gets really sad, it’s good to watch the sun go down. Does your lamb eat flowers?

PRINCE: And the thorns don’t help them? Why, why do lambs and flowers fight each other? Why this war? Isn't this a serious matter, understand? What if I know the only flower in the world, it grows only on my planet, and a lamb suddenly takes it and eats it? It’s the same as if all the stars nearby went out...

Dancing girl in a pink dress.

PRINCE: My flower. He was wonderful. He filled my entire planet with fragrance, but I did not know how to rejoice at him. Sometimes I even got angry with the rose, she was sometimes capricious. And I left her there alone. I didn’t understand anything then! It was necessary to judge not by words, but by deeds. She gave me her scent and illuminated my life. I had to guess tenderness, I didn’t know how to love yet.

Prince's music (as a refrain)

King: And here comes the subject! Come, I want to look at you. ( The prince yawned from fatigue and looked around for somewhere to sit.). Etiquette does not allow yawning in the presence of the monarch. I forbid you to yawn.

PRINCE: I accidentally. I was on the road for a long time and did not sleep at all.

King: Then I command: yawn! This is my order.

PRINCE: But I'm timid, I can't do it anymore. Can I sit down?

King: I command you, sit down!

PRINCE: Where is your kingdom?

King: Everywhere ( spread his hand).

PRINCE: Do the stars obey you?

King: Well, of course. I don't tolerate disobedience.

PRINCE: Then order it to be sunset now.

King: Everyone must be asked what he can give. Power must first of all be reasonable. If you command your people to throw themselves into the sea, they will start a revolution. I have the right to demand obedience because my commands are reasonable. And you will see the sunset when it is sunset time.

PRINCE: You are strange people, adults.

Ambitious: Oh, here comes the admirer!

PRINCE: Hello! What a funny hat you have.

Ambitious: This is to bow. Clap your hands. ( The prince clapped, the ambitious man bowed). To honor means to recognize that on this planet I am the most beautiful, the best dressed, the richest, and the smartest. I'm smarter than everyone else.

PRINCE: Really, adults are very strange people.

Sad, tragic music

PRINCE: What are you doing?

Drunkard: I drink.

PRINCE: For what?

Drunkard: To forget.

PRINCE: Forget what?

Drunkard: Forget that I am ashamed. It's shameful to drink.

PRINCE: Yes, strange people, these adults.

Business man: One, two, three... Five hundred million. Why are you here, don't bother me.

PRINCE: What five hundred million?

Business man: Stars. I count them. I love precision. I own these stars.

PRINCE: Why do you want to own them?

Business man: To be rich.

PRINCE: How can you own the stars?

Business man: Whose stars are they?

PRINCE: Draws.

Business man: So, mine, because I was the first to think of it.

PRINCE: Funny. These adults are strange. Nobody understands me, and I can't understand them.

Poem "Rains"

V. Egorov

I love you, my rains,

My heavy, autumn ones,

A little funny, a little distracted

I love you, my rains.

And the leaves flock to the trunks,

And the sidewalks are like a mirror -

And I'm floating on mirrors

In which there is no one to be reflected.

Where, like stooped walruses,

Cars snort with their engines

And the monotonous rails wind,

Like silver snakes.

Where are the ragamuffin lanterns

They wander in a dirty line,

And autumn fiery wig

Ripped off by rain paws.

Thank you, my rains,

Thank you, my autumn ones,

For everything that you have sown in me.

Thank you, my rains.

Dance of the lamplighter.

PRINCE: Maybe this man is ridiculous. But he is better than an ambitious man, a businessman and a drunkard. At least his work has meaning. When he lights his lantern, it’s as if another star or flower is born. Great activity. It's truly useful because it's beautiful. ( Addressing the lamplighter) Why do you turn off and turn on the lantern?

Lamplighter: Such an agreement.

PRINCE: Which?

Lamplighter: Once upon a time it made sense. I lit the lantern in the morning and turned it off in the evening. But the planet is spinning faster and faster. The day lasts only a minute.

PRINCE: You are so true to your word! I would like to be friends with you, but your planet is so small, and you are so busy!

1st geographer: I am describing mountains and seas, but I have never seen them myself, and I am very glad to see you. I will write down everything you tell me. And if I don’t write it down, then all this will die, disappear, and no one will know about it.

PRINCE: And my flower should disappear soon?

2nd geographer: Yes, of course.

PRINCE: You know everything! Which planet would you recommend me to visit?

2nd geographer: Visit planet Earth.

Prince's music.

Author: So the seventh planet he visited was Earth. The Earth is not a very simple planet. There are kings, geographers, drunkards, and ambitious people on it. There are a lot of different kinds of people. But when the prince came to Earth, he did not see a soul, except perhaps a snake in the desert.

Snake dance.

PRINCE: I would like to know why the stars glow. Look, here is my planet - just above us.

Snake: Beautiful planet. But she is far away, and I am here, and very powerful. Anyone I touch, I return to the earth from which he came.

I feel sorry for you. You are so weak on this planet. On this day, when you want to return to your place, I will help you.

PRINCE: What a strange planet. Dry, salty. And how lonely it is here in this world of people. But what is it?

Dance of the roses.

PRINCE: Good afternoon!

Roses: Good afternoon.

PRINCE: Who are you? You look so much like my flower!

Roses: We are roses!

PRINCE: Roses? Oh, I'm so miserable. My rose told me that there is nothing like it in the entire Universe. And there are so many roses in front of me. So she is as ordinary as they are. What kind of prince am I after this?

Fox: Hello!

PRINCE: Hello. ( But I didn't see anyone).

Fox: I'm here.

PRINCE: Who are you? How beautiful you are!

Fox: I'm a fox.

PRINCE: Play with me.

Fox: I can't play with you. I'm not tamed. What are you doing here?

PRINCE: I'm looking for friends. How is it to tame?

Fox: It means being needed for each other. You will be the only one for me in the whole world. And I will be the only one for you.

PRINCE: How is my rose? I'm starting to understand something.

Fox: My life is a bit boring. I hunt chickens, and people follow me. But if you tame me, my life will definitely be illuminated by the sun. I will begin to distinguish your steps among thousands of others. They will be music to me. There is a wheat field, and on it are golden ears. Golden wheat will remind me of you. Tame me please!

PRINCE: I would be glad, but I don’t have time, and I need to find people, learn different things.

Fox: You can only learn those things that you tame. People no longer have enough time to learn anything. They buy things ready-made and in stores. But there are no such shops where friends would trade, and therefore people no longer have friends. I can become your friend.

PRINCE: What should be done for this?

Fox: We must be patient. You come at the appointed time, by this time I will begin to worry and worry. I will find out the price of happiness.

Fox: I will cry for you. And remember, looking at these golden ears. Go and look at the roses again. You will understand that your rose is the only one in the world. And when you return to say goodbye to me, I will tell you one secret. This will be my gift to you. ( The prince looks at the roses).

PRINCE: Yes, they are beautiful, but they are not at all like my rose. Nobody tamed them. After all, it was I who watered it every day and protected it from drafts. And these are strangers to me. (He returns to the fox) Goodbye!

Fox: Goodbye! Here is my secret, it is very simple: only the heart is vigilant. You can't see the most important thing with your eyes. Your rose is so dear to you because you gave her all your days, like a mother gives herself to a child, and this makes him dearer to her than anyone else in the world. You are forever responsible for those you have tamed.

PRINCE: Yes, yes, we are all responsible for those we have tamed.

Song "Conversation"

Poems by M. Cherkasova

Music by A. Dulov

And about nothing, and about nothing

Our conversation, our conversation.

Noticeable to you and me alone,

We knit a wonderful pattern

From light words - simple and bright.

You give to me, you give to me

A crowd of birches, a crowd of birches.

And like a wizard, without deception

You are a rainbow transparent bridge

You take it out of my pocket.

And silver... And the silver river -

There is a river around -

Lays down in a smooth outline.

You weave clouds into the strings

And the waves of a gentle river.

Your warmth, your warmth,

Your shoulder, your shoulder

And sweet songs of sadness and tenderness,

And our conversation is about nothing,

PRINCE: I'm thirsty too. But I haven’t found water anywhere here, and I’m tired, let’s rest after such a long journey. Look, the stars are very beautiful, because somewhere there is a flower, although you can’t see it. And the desert is beautiful. Do you know why the desert is good? Springs are hidden somewhere in it...

PRINCE: I'm very glad that you agree with my friend Fox. ( fell asleep).

The most touching thing about the Little Prince is his loyalty to the flower, the image of the rose that shines in him like the flame of a lamp, even when he is sleeping... Lamps must be taken care of: a gust of wind can extinguish them...

And then we found a well, and there was water in it. That water was like a gift to the heart, because we had been looking for it for a long time.

Song "The hour has come, it's time to go"

The hour has come, it's time to go,

But we need a first step.

All paths will diverge

And the clock is fast.

The music of your steps

I remember it by heart.

This song is for two

Forgive her for being sad.

In the quiet music of footsteps

The last beat sounds.

I'm ready for this too

Well, that's all, shut up.

You are above the world of gray roofs,

The sun is half a candle,

You always burn for me,

That's all, shut up.

Say goodbye

I receive the rays of my hands.

I feel warm in your shadow

Well, that's all, shut up.

PRINCE: You know, tomorrow it will be a year since I came to you on Earth.

PRINCE (snake): You will find my footprints in the sand. And then wait. I'll come tonight. Do you have good poison? Won't you make me suffer for a long time?

Snake: No, I have good poison.

PRINCE: I will return home today. I will have your lamb.

PRINCE: When you gave me something to drink, that water was like music. My star is very small. And you will love to look at the stars, they will all become your friends.

PRINCE: My laughter is a gift to you. You will look at the sky, my star will be there, on which I laugh, and you will hear that all the stars are laughing, and you will be happy.

Song "Wishes Fulfilled"

A. Dolsky

A star fell on my palm.

I asked her: “Where are you from?”

Give me a little break.

Just like a bell rang:

Don't worry that I'm small

I can do a lot of things.

You just need to remember

What is most important to you in the world?

I can make your wish come true

I do this all the time.

I know what I need

I don't need to remember for long

I want to love and be loved,

I want my mother not to get sick.

So that on our woeful planet

If only the stars would fall from the sky.

If only everyone were trusting, like children,

And they loved rain, flowers and forest.

So that the grass can be mowed with a scythe, as of old.

Every day we flew to the moon.

To carry women in their arms.

There would be no disease or war.

A star fell on my palm.

And you look at the sky. And ask yourself: “Is that rose alive or is it no longer alive? What if the lamb ate it? And the laughing stars will ring like bells!

Song "Small Country"

Sl. I. Reznik

Music I. Nikolaeva

There are behind the mountains, behind the forests

Small country

There are animals with kind eyes,

Life there is full of love.

There is a miracle lake sparkling,

There is no evil and grief there -

There's a firebird living in the yard

And gives people light.

Who will tell me, who will tell me,

Where is she, where is she?

Small country, small country

Where the soul is light and clear,

Where it's always spring.

I only dream about this country

But a bright moment will come,

And on a winged chariot

I'll take the flight.

I'm destined for a meeting hour

In my starry country,

There's a beautiful boy waiting for me there

On a golden horse.

There are behind the mountains, behind the forests

Small country

There are animals with kind eyes,

Life there is full of love.

The autumn rain is pouring outside the window,

    "The Little Prince"

    Act one

    Scene one

On stage, two girls run out and take the book from each other.

    Music, children freeze. Angels appear.

A1 There is a truth that is as old as time. Friendship is a gift that should be treasured. But for some reason people often forget this.

A2. To open the eyes and stir the hearts of two grumpy girl friends, we will take them on a journey.

A1 .It will bring them closer to one of the secrets of heaven, in which there is a deep meaning

A2. But they will understand how they need to be friends, what to value and how to love... it depends only on them.

    GIRLS WAKE UP

    D1 .Oh, were we asleep?

    D2 .Look, what is this?

    D1 .Some old book.

D2 . Antoine de Saint-Exupery "The Little Prince"

    D1 .How interesting

    D2 .Let's read it.

D1 . “Once upon a time there lived a Little Prince. He lived on a planet that was slightly larger than himself, and he really missed his friend.

D2 . Have you ever heard of the Little Prince?

D1 .I know a lot of fairy tales about princesses and princes, about witchcraft, and evil wizards, but... The Little Prince... no, I haven’t heard.

D2 . In my opinion, this is a very unusual story. Look what is written here:

“I don’t want my book to be read just for fun. My heart aches painfully when I remember my little friend. It's very sad when friends are forgotten. And I'm trying to talk about him so as not to forget him

D1 .You know, I want us to be friends all our lives!

D2 .Do I know what I’m thinking about?

    D1 .About what?

D2 .Why does the author of the manuscript write about the Little Prince with such love? And who is he really?

D1 .I think the manuscript will help us figure this out.

    Scene two

The appearance of the little prince to the music

D1 On the planet of the little prince, simple and modest flowers grew. But one day one sprouted from a grain brought from nowhere, and the Little Prince admired it. The bush quickly stopped stretching upward and a bud appeared on it and the Little Prince was waiting for a miracle

D2 And the unknown guest, hidden within the walls of her green room, kept getting ready, kept preening.

The music of awakening sounds, to which the rose flirts.

D1 Yes, she was a terrible coquette! Mysterious preparations continued day after day. And then one morning, as soon as the sun rose, the petals opened.

Rose . Oh, I woke up forcibly... (confused) Please excuse me, I’m still completely disheveled.

    MP. How beautiful you are!

Rose . Yes, really? (pause) And note, I was born with the sun! Looks like it's time for breakfast. Be so kind as to take care of me.

The little prince is embarrassed, takes a watering can and waters the bush

    Rose. Be careful.

MP . Sorry, sorry. (very polite)

(to the viewer) She has a very difficult character.

Rose . I'm terribly afraid of drafts. Don't have a screen?

MP .It’s strange, the plant is afraid of drafts?!

Rose. When evening comes, cover me. It's too cold here. A very uncomfortable planet. Where I came from...Apchhi, apchhi. Cover me.

MP .(confused) I’m now, I already wanted to go, but I couldn’t help but listen to you.

Rose coughed. MP gently covered her.

MP . (to the viewer) I listened to her in vain. You should never listen to what flowers say. You just have to look at them and breathe their aroma. You have to judge not by words but by deeds. She gave her scent and illuminated my life.

I was too young, I didn’t know how to love yet.

    MP goes backstage.

D . That morning he decided to travel with migratory birds. He cleaned up his planet very carefully. And when he watered the wonderful flower for the last time, he even wanted to cry.

    MP . Farewell!

Rose . Farewell! (coughs). I was stupid. Forgive me and try to be happy

(the prince did not expect such a reaction from the grumpy rose)

Rose . Yes, yes I love you. It's my fault that you didn't know this. Yes, it doesn’t matter. But you were as stupid as me, try to be happy. Leave it, I don't need it anymore.

    MP . But the wind?

Rose . I'm not that cold. The freshness of the night will do me good. After all, I am a flower.

    MP . But animals, insects.

Rose. But I must put up with two or three caterpillars if I want to meet butterflies. They must be lovely! Otherwise, who will visit me? You'll be far away. But I'm not afraid of big animals. I also have claws... Don’t wait, it’s unbearable! If you decide to leave, then leave.

    Rose . (crying)

D She didn't want MP to see her crying. It was a very proud flower...

    D. The little prince's journey has begun.

    Scene three

D .The closest thing to the planet MP was the asteroid on which the king lived.

D .He sat on the throne with a very majestic appearance.

    (MP included)

King . And here comes the subject!

MP . How did he recognize me? After all, he sees me for the first time. (words spoken to the viewer)

King . Come, I want to look at you.

(MP looked around and yawned from fatigue)

King . Etiquette does not allow yawning in the presence of the monarch. (menacingly). I forbid you to yawn...

MP . I accidentally, I was on the road for a long time and didn’t sleep at all,

King. Well, then I command you to yawn. For many years I have not seen anyone yawn. I'm even curious. So...yawn!!! This is my order.

MP . But I'm timid. I can't do it anymore.

    King . Hm, hm...Well then...then I command you to yawn, then...brrr...it seems I'm confused.

MP . Can I sit down?

King . I command you to sit down!

MP . Your Majesty, may I ask you?

King . I command you to ask!

MP . Your Majesty, where is your kingdom?

    King . Everywhere.

    MP . Everywhere?

(The King moved his hand, modestly pointing to his planet, as well as to other planets and stars).

MP . And all this is yours?

    King. Yes.

MP . And the stars obey you?

King . Well, of course, the stars obey instantly. I don't tolerate disobedience.

At first the prince was delighted: such power! But I became sad again, remembering my planet.

MP . (to the viewer) How is my little planet doing!?

I want to watch the sun set. Please do me a favor and tell the sun to go down.

King . If I order some general to flutter like a butterfly from flower to flower, and he does not carry out the order, who will be to blame?

    MP . You, Your Majesty!

King . Absolutely right. You need to ask everyone what they can give. Power must be reasonable.

MP . What about the sunset?

King . Everything has its time. (The prince yawned and got bored)

MP . I have to go, I have nothing else to do here.

King. Stay! I will appoint you as minister.

    MP . Minister of what?

    King . Well, justice.

MP . But there is no one to judge here.

King . Somewhere on my planet there lives an old rat. I hear her scratching at night. You could judge her.

MP . This activity is not for me. I have to go.

King . No, it's not time!

MP . Your Majesty! If you wanted your commands to be carried out unquestioningly, you could give me a prudent order. Command me to go on my way.

King . I appoint you as ambassador!

MP . These adults are strange people.

    Leaves. Prince's music.

The prince descends into the hall and finds himself on the planet of the ambitious.

    Scene four

H . Oh, here comes the admirer!

MP . Good afternoon What a funny hat you have.

H . This is to bow, to bow when I am greeted. Unfortunately, no one comes here.

    MP . How's that?

    H . Clap your hands!

MP . clapped his hands, and the ambitious man raised his hat and began to bow.

MP . (to the viewer) It's more fun here than at the old king's.

    MP . it got boring.

MP . What do you need to do to make the hat fall off?

The ambitious man did not hear.

MP . Yes, vain people are deaf to everything except praise.

H . You are truly my enthusiastic admirer.

MP . What is it like to read?

H . To honor means to admit that on this planet I am the most beautiful, the most elegant, the richest and the smartest.

MP . But there is no one else on your planet!

H . Well, give me pleasure, admire me anyway.

MP . I admire, but what joy does this give you?

Really, adults are very strange people.

    Prince's music.

MP . Finds himself on the planet of a business man.

    MP . Good afternoon

Del.PERSON . Three and two are five. Five and two are seven. Twelve and three-fifteen.

    MP. I say good afternoon!

Del . Twenty six and five - thirty one. Ugh! The total, therefore, is five hundred one million six hundred twenty two thousand seven hundred thirty one.

MP . Five hundred million of what?

Del . Are you still here? Five hundred million... I don’t know what... I’m a serious person and I have a lot of work.

MP . Still, five hundred million of what?

Del . I have been living on this planet for many years and in all that time I have only been disturbed three times. For the first time, a cockchafer flew to me. He made a fuss and I made three mistakes. The second time I had an attack of rheumatism. I sit a lot, I have no time to walk around. Third time - here you are... Five hundred million...

    MP . Millions of what?

Del . (thoughtfully) Five hundred million of these little things that are sometimes visible in the air.

MP . What are these flies?

Businessman . No, they are so small and shiny.

    MP . Bees?

Businessman. No, no. Small, golden, any lazy person will look at them and start daydreaming. And I'm a serious person. I have no time to dream.

    MP. Eh, stars?

Businessman . There you go. Stars.

MP . Five hundred million stars? What are you doing with them?

Businessman . What am I doing?

    MP . Yes.

Businessman . I'm not doing anything. I own them.

MP . Do you own the stars?

    Businessman . Yes.

MP . But I have already seen the king who...

Businessman . Kings do not own anything. They reign. It's not the same thing at all.

MP . Why do you need to own the stars?

    Businessman . To be rich.

    MP . And for what?

Businessman . To buy more and more stars.

MP . How can you own the stars?

Businessman . They are mine because I was the first to think of it!

MP . What do you do with them?

Businessman . I manage them. I count them, I count them. It's very difficult. But I'm a serious person.

MP . (thinking) If I have a silk scarf, I can tie it around my neck and take it with me. but you can't take away the stars.

Businessman . No, but I can put them in the bank.

    MP . How is this?

Businessman . And so, I write on paper how many stars I have. Then I put this paper in a box and lock it with a key.

    MP . That's all?

    Businessman . That's enough.

MP . Funny! And even poetic. But not that serious.

I have a flower and I water it every morning. I have three volcanoes, I clean them every week. Both my volcanoes and my flower benefit from the fact that I own them. And the stars have no use for you.

No, adults and, truly, amazing people.

He goes downstairs to the music and meets the lamplighter.

Having caught up with the lamplighter, the MP bowed very respectfully.

MP . Good afternoon. Why did you turn off the lantern now?

Background . That's the deal. Good afternoon

MP . What kind of agreement is this?

Background . Turn off the lantern. Good afternoon. (lit the lantern)

MP . Why did you light it again?

    Background . That's the deal.

    MP. I don't understand.

Background . And there is nothing to understand. An agreement is an agreement. Good afternoon. (turned off the flashlight)

He wiped the sweat from his forehead.

Background . My job is hard. Once upon a time it made sense. I turned off the lantern in the morning and lit it again in the evening. I had one day left to rest and a night to sleep...

MP . And then the agreement changed?

Background . The agreement did not change. That's the trouble! My planet rotates faster and faster year after year, but the agreement remains the same.

MP . And what about now?

Background . Yes, that's it. The planet makes a full revolution in one minute, and I don't have a second to rest. Every minute I turn off the lantern and light it again.

MP . That's funny! So your day only lasts one minute!

Background . There's nothing funny here. We've been talking for a whole month.

    MP . A whole month?!

Background . Well, yes. Thirty minutes. Thirty days. Good evening! (the lantern lit up.)

MP . Listen, I know a remedy: you can rest whenever you want...

Background . I always want to rest. After all, you can be true to your word and still be lazy.

MP . Your planet is so tiny, you can walk around it in three steps. And you just need to go at such a speed that you stay in the sun all the time. When you want to rest, you just go, go... And the day will last as long as you want.

Background . Well, that doesn't do me any good. More than anything in the world I want to sleep.

MP . It's bad for you.

Background . My business is bad. Good afternoon. (turned off the lantern)

MP . Here is a man whom everyone would despise - the king, the ambitious, and the businessman. And yet, of all of them, he is the only one, in my opinion, who is not funny. Maybe because he is the only one who thinks not only about himself. (sighs)

I wish I could make friends with someone. But his planet is so tiny, there is no room for two.

D2 . He did not dare admit to himself that he regretted this wonderful planet most of all for one more reason: in twenty-four hours you can admire the sunset on it one thousand four hundred and forty times!

    Scene five

D1 . The little prince was on five more planets. They were all very small, and their inhabitants were very strange.

D2 . More and more he thought about his abandoned flower, but he really wanted to visit the earth.

MP. What a huge planet. Strange, but where are the people? Maybe I ended up on another planet by mistake? (seeing a strange creature)

    Good evening!

    Snake . Good evening!

MP . What planet did I end up on?

    Snake . To the ground.

MP . Here's how. Are there no people on Earth?

This is a desert... Nobody lives in deserts. But the land is big.

MP . I would like to know why the stars glow. Probably so that sooner or later everyone can find theirs.

Look, here is my planet - right above us... But how far away it is!

Snake . Beautiful planet. What will you do here on earth?

MP. I quarreled with my flower. I may have even offended him.

Snake . And here it is.

MP . Where are the people? It's lonely here.

Snake . It's also lonely among people...

MP. You are a strange creature. No thicker than a finger.

Snake . But I have more power than the king's finger.

MP . Well, are you really that powerful? You don't even have paws.

Snake . I can take you further than any ship. (winds around the prince) I return everyone I touched to the earth from which they came. But you are pure and came from the star. I feel sorry for you, you are so weak on this earth, hard as granite. On the day when you bitterly regret your abandoned planet, I will be able to help you. And now goodbye.

MP . Yes, it's time for me to go.

    Music.

    Scene six

D1 .MP walked for a long time through sands and rocks and finally came across a road. And all roads lead to people.

D2 Along the way he had many interesting meetings and impressions. But there was also something that touched him to the depths of his soul.

    Exit of roses to music

    MP appears simultaneously

    Mp. Good afternoon

    Roses . Good afternoon.

    Good afternoon.

    Good afternoon

    Good afternoon

    MP . Who are you?

Roses . We are roses. We are roses, we are roses, we are roses.

MP . Here's how... And my rose said that there were no others like her in the whole universe, so she would be angry if she saw them. She would cough terribly and pretend to die, just not to seem funny.

I imagined that I owned the only flower in the world that no one else in the world had, and it was the most ordinary rose. All I had was a simple rose and three volcanoes that were knee-high, and then one of them went out, and maybe forever... (cries) What kind of prince am I after this!?

(lay down on the grass and cry)

    Roses . He's crying!

Roses. He is sleeping, he has fallen asleep. (leave)

A fox appears behind the apple tree.

    Fox . Hello!

    MP . Hello! (looking around)

Fox . I'm here under the apple tree

    MP . Who are you?

    Fox .I am a fox.

MP . And I'm a prince. Play with me, I'm so sad...

Fox . Don't come near me (hiding)

Prince . Where are you? I'm upset. Play please!

Fox . Well, no! Where are the others?

Prince . What others? There's no one here.

    Fox. Other hunters.

Prince . But there is no one here except me.

    Fox . Where's your gun?

    Prince . What other gun?

Fox . People have guns. And they go hunting. They also raise chickens. Are you looking for chickens?

Prince . No, I'm looking for friends! Play with me!

Fox . I can't play with you, I'm not tamed.

MP . Oh, sorry (after thinking, I asked). How is it to tame?

Fox . You're not from here, what are you looking for here?

MP . I'm looking for friends. How is it to tame?

Fox . ABOUT! This is a long forgotten concept. It means: to create bonds.

    Mp. Bonds?

Fox . That's it. For me, you are still just a little boy, just like a hundred thousand little boys. And I don't need you. And you don't need me. But if you tame me, we will need each other. And I will be alone for you in the whole world.

MP . I'm starting to understand. There is one rose... She probably tamed me...

Fox . It is very possible that nothing can happen on earth.

MP . It wasn't on earth.

Fox . (surprised) On another planet?

    MP . YES.

Fox . Are there hunters on this planet?

    MP . No.

Fox. How interesting! Are there chickens there?

    MP . No.

Fox . There is no perfection in the world! (pause) My life is boring. I hunt chickens and people hunt me. But if you tame me, my life will seem to be illuminated with light. Do you see the wheat ripening in the fields over there? I don't eat bread and it's sad. But you have golden hair. Golden wheat will remind me of you. (walks away, turns, looks into the eyes of the prince)

    Please tame me.

MP . I would be glad, but I have so little time. I still need to make friends and learn things

Fox . You can only learn those things that you tame. If you want to have a friend, tame me.

MP . What should you do for this?

Fox . We need to be patient. First, sit down over there on the grass. Like this. I will look sideways at you, and you remain silent. Words only interfere with understanding each other. But sit a little closer every day.

    Music

    They stand up holding hands.

Voice. So MP tamed the fox.

Fox . I will cry for you. (sighs)

MP. It's your own fault. I didn't want you to get hurt. You yourself wanted me to tame you.

    Fox . Yes, sure.

    MP. But you will cry!

    Fox . Yes, sure.

MP . So does this make you feel bad?

Fox. No, I'm fine. Remember what I told you about the golden ears. (pause)

Go and look at the roses again. You will understand that your rose is the only one in the whole world. And when you return to say goodbye to me, I will tell you one secret. This will be my gift to you.

    Music. Dance of the roses.

MP . You are beautiful, but empty. No one has tamed you and you have not tamed anyone. This was my fox. But I became friends with him and now he is the only one in the whole world. You are not like my rose. I don't want to die for you. Of course, a random passer-by, looking at my rose, will say that it is exactly the same as you, but to me it is dearer to all of you. She is mine!!!

The fox appears from behind the apple tree.

    MP . Goodbye!

Fox . Goodbye! Here's my secret, it's very simple. Only the heart is vigilant. You can't see the most important thing with your eyes.

Fox. Your rose is so dear to you because you gave it all your days.

MP. Because I gave her all my days...

Fox . People have forgotten this truth, but don't forget. You are forever responsible for those you tamed! You are responsible for your rose!

MP. I am responsible for my rose. It's time for me to go back. My rose is waiting for me. But I will never be able to forget you. Be happy and goodbye!

    Music. Farewell scene.

    Girls coming out.

D1 . You know, for some reason I'm very sad. Everything that happened to us is mysterious and incomprehensible. And deep down in my soul I already fell in love with the little prince. Perhaps you, like me, fell in love with him. Then you, like me, don’t care at all what happens to him.

D2 .Look at the sky. Perhaps there, on his planet, our good friend found his rose. And finally, I am immensely happy. When I think about it, the whole world becomes different. And no adult will ever understand how important this is.

D2 . Remember this place. Here for the first time the little prince appeared on earth and then disappeared. If you happen to be passing through here, I implore you, don’t rush, linger a little under this star!

And if a boy with golden hair comes up to you, if he laughs loudly and doesn’t answer your questions, you will certainly guess who he is. (Slams the book)

I want to give you a gift. May you have this book.
    D1 . What about you?

D2 . I will be pleased to read it with you. You won't mind, will you?

D1 . Well, what are you doing? I will be only glad of this.

    Music. The appearance of Angels.

Angel1 We are glad that you passed the test with dignity. Your friendship has become even stronger.

D2 . You have learned to see and appreciate the main things. And we hope that the book helped you with this.

D1 . Life is an absolutely wonderful journey. This is a constant search for yourself. This is both work and passion.

D2 . The main thing is not to miss anything, to notice all the signs given by God. And listen, hear your heart.

D1 . Love your loved ones. Perhaps love is a careful attempt to return oneself to oneself. Not to what I would like you to be, but to who you are.

    Music. Dance of angels.

    Departure of the angels.
