The evening was hosted by Alexandra Zakharova (in the guise of Princess Turandot) and Viktor Rakov (in the costume of Count Rezanov). From TRAM to Lenkom

The first to jump onto the stage, waving a flag, were Komsomol members and Red Army soldiers, performed by the younger generation of Lenkomovites.

From the history of Lenkom

The Moscow Lenkom Theater is located in a building built in 1909 for the Moscow Merchants Club. In 1918, the “House of Anarchy” settled within these walls, later - the Communist University, where in 1920 the Third All-Russian Congress of the RKSM took place, at which Ulyanov-Lenin spoke.

In 1927, on the initiative of the Moscow Komsomol, the Working Youth Theater (TRAM) was created in a building on Malaya Dmitrovka, which within four years received professional status, and a little later such famous Moscow Art Theater masters as Sudakov, Stanitsyn, Batalov, Khmelev joined its troupe .

In 1938, the theater was named after the Lenin Komsomol. At the same time, it was headed by the famous actor and director Ivan Bersenev. With his arrival, Simonov and Korneychuk, Lavrenev and Gorky, Turgenev and Rostand were staged here.

A bright period began in the life of the theater when Anatoly Efros became the main director. His productions of plays by Rozov and Radzinsky, Chekhov and Bulgakov generated great public resonance.

And finally, in 1973, its current artistic director, Mark Zakharov, came to the theater. His fame began with the very first performance - "Autograd XXI" - and continues to this day with the most recent premiere - "The Day of the Oprichnik".
