Children's educational games, lessons, crafts. Do-it-yourself face painting, or magical transformation

Face painting is painting on the face with special paints that are easily washed off and completely safe. This entertainment is ideal for a children's party: birthday, theme party, graduation. How to make face painting for children with your own hands?

Do-it-yourself face painting: materials and tools

In order to draw funny patterns on children's faces, you will need:

  • paints;
  • tassels;
  • sponges;
  • pure water;
  • sheet;
  • headband or headband;
  • napkins;
  • mirror.

Now about all the points in order. Special paints are used for face painting. They can be purchased at holiday or creative supply stores, as well as at studios engaged in face art or body art.

Paints for face painting are dry, similar to regular watercolors. To paint, they will have to be diluted with water. There are liquid paints - in jars and tubes. They are completely ready to use. To make the images of children brighter, the drawings on the face are decorated with glitter and special rhinestones. All this can also be purchased without problems at makeup stores.

You can make face paint with your own hands. To do this you need to mix:

  • 3 tablespoons starch;
  • 1.5 tablespoons of water;
  • 10-15 grams of baby cream.

You need to gradually add any food coloring to the resulting mass, drop by drop, until you get the desired color.

To paint face painting on the face, you will need tools: brushes and sponges. Brushes can be purchased at a craft store. For a beautiful drawing you need several brushes: thick and medium for large details, thin for contours. The face painting background is done using a sponge - a piece of washcloth.

Additionally, to apply face art, you should prepare a sheet to cover the child’s shoulders and clothes while drawing. Although face painting can be easily washed off, it is better to play it safe and take care of your holiday outfits. To remove hair from the model's face, use a hoop or headband.

And, of course, before doing face painting, you need to stock up on napkins: dry, wet and clean rags. Clean water is on the list of essentials. It will be needed for diluting paints, washing brushes and sponges.

Applying face painting to children is complicated by their restlessness, but for a beautiful drawing it is important that the baby sit still. A large mirror placed opposite the child can solve the problem - the fidget will watch with admiration his magical transformation.

Children's face painting: how to paint on babies' faces

Face painting is a creative process. But there are still some rules of face art that must be followed.

The drawing is applied in two stages:

  • Face toning to create a smooth foundation. It is convenient to apply the tone with a sponge: wet it with water, squeeze it out and rub it on the paint. It is better to tint your face in a circular motion - then after drying the base will be even. If the mask is drawn on the entire face, it is important to paint well the eyelids and corners of the eyes. For small patterns on the cheek or forehead, you can do without the tone.
  • Drawing individual elements. For beautiful and even contours, use a thin brush. It should be held at a right angle to your face.

Before applying one paint over another, you should wait until the first layer dries.

Children are special clients for face painting artists. Babies are not only fidgety, but also often afraid of tickling. Therefore, before applying face painting to a child, you need to move a dry brush over the face. If the baby feels comfortable, you can start drawing. And if he is very ticklish, you should choose a simple face painting, which will take no more than a minute. It could be a flower, an asterisk, a cobweb, etc.

Before doing face painting, the master always talks to the child about his character. It is important that the baby likes the proposed image. Professionals who do face painting for children have ideas for face paintings collected in catalogs. The child only needs to choose what he likes best.

What is face painting? These are special water-based paints for the face and body. They are easy to wash off and easy to apply, and their hypoallergenicity allows them to be used even on children's faces.

But in addition to a purely aesthetic function, face painting also has a practical function: it will be much easier for a child to get used to the image of his hero, which will reduce both physical and psychological stress.

Before you start applying makeup, remember a few simple rules for beginner makeup artists:

  1. Don't force your child to put on makeup if he doesn't want to: not all children like the touch of a brush to their body.
  2. Before drawing, move a dry brush over your baby’s face, so the drawing process will not come as a surprise to the child.
  3. Don't offer your child a drawing that you like. After all, it’s not you who will have to wear makeup, but him.
  4. Don't draw for more than ten minutes. Of course, you want to create a real masterpiece, but children cannot sit still for a long time (how can we, with many years of experience in school, university and home computer gatherings), and they will quickly get tired of it. If you see that the child is tired, let him run freely or breathe, because some children are even afraid to breathe while they are being drawn.
  5. Hold a small mirror in front of you so that the child can see what interesting things are happening on his face.
  6. Be sure to talk to your child about something interesting while drawing.

Now let's move on to the actual technique and materials:

Materials:

1. Paints.

2. Brushes. You need 2 brushes - No. 1 and No. 5-6.

3. Sponge or sponge.

4. Cotton pads, sticks, napkins.

Master class on face painting

We start, of course, with the basics. This is a common element for drawing various animals.

The basis

Using a wide brush, apply white paint to the areas between the nose and upper lip. Paint the tip of the nose with a black brush, then draw a stripe up to the upper lip, outline it and curve it upward. We got cheeks! We can apply dots and antennae on them. We paint the bridge of the nose white and shade it a little so that there are no sharp boundaries.

The basic foundation is ready, now we can draw several animals with their own distinctive features.

Kitty

Any color is suitable for it (in our case, blue). Apply paint to the face along the contour, without including the eyes, draw ears above the eyebrows. Now let's draw a red tongue on the lower lip, and highlight the fur and ears with black. The eyes were not captured on purpose, because In some children, this area of the body is very sensitive and should not be applied to it.

little hare

What is the most important distinguishing feature of a hare? That's right, teeth. So let's draw them on the lower lip. Let's draw a white rectangle. We use black to denote the teeth, draw a contour in the shape of a butterfly (where its “wings” will be the bunny’s ears) and paint over it (everything except the cheeks). Let's paint the fur using black paint and a thin brush. Now we’ll cover the cheeks with white paint and blend it a little with a sponge.

You can come up with the characteristic features of the animals yourself: for example, a mouse has a gray color, small teeth and a small tongue, a lynx will look like a cat, only orange, and will have tassels on its ears, etc.

Beautiful butterfly:

An easy way to draw a tiger face on your face:

    There are different ways to draw a beautiful butterfly on a child’s face and do face painting with a butterfly.

    A butterfly is something airy, light, beautiful.

    It can be a butterfly all over the face or just in the forehead and eyes or on one side of the face, on the cheek or where the lips are.

    You can draw a butterfly in any color and use your imagination.

    You can use glitter paint, it turns out very beautiful.

    There are such simple drawings with a butterfly on the face, you can draw a similar type. The most important thing is to have paints, a brush, a sponge and a little creative inspiration, since a butterfly is something light, fluttering, cute, always a wonderful decoration for a holiday and mood.

    The design can be more or less simple or complex, always a wonderful decoration for a child girl or an adult girl or girl.

    It’s not difficult to draw a butterfly on a child’s face; you need to have on hand special paints or a palette of shadows for face painting (body art), a sponge to shade the colors and a brush to highlight lines and apply sparkles in spots.

    Decide what color your butterfly will be and start drawing by applying color to the eyes, carefully forming the wing. Then frame this base color of the wing with a different color along the contour or along the outer edge, also forming a butterfly wing.

    In the center of the bridge of the nose, going to the nose and forehead, paint the body of the butterfly with black paint and frame the wings. Apply decor.

    Look step by step how to draw a butterfly on a child’s face in the video:

    Another idea:

    Anyone can make a beautiful face painting. The main thing is to have all the necessary tools. First of all, we need white face painting; this will be the base color; then you can take any bright and cheerful color: yellow, blue, pink, orange. In addition, we will need black paint, which we will use to paint the head and antennae of the butterfly.

    Don't forget to take a sponge and brush.

    Let's get started. We will use white face painting as a base on the child’s forehead and cheeks. It’s best to immediately draw the outline of the butterfly’s wings. Then we take a bright-colored face painting and draw the wings more clearly. You can add bright spots in a chaotic manner. Now let's draw the body of the butterfly. It is best to do this with black paint. We draw along the child’s nose and smoothly move to the forehead. Using black paint we draw the head and antennae. You can make bright stripes on the body, because our butterfly is cartoonish).

    I saw how Tew recommends doing face painting. I can also advise you on how to draw a butterfly using face painting. You also make the base with white paint. And then you can make wings on the child’s cheeks. You can choose any color. And on the child’s nose, make it dark so that the body of a butterfly appears. Draw the head of a butterfly with mustache on the forehead. If you don’t like this option, you can draw something like this

A long time ago, it became the norm to use face painting at children's parties. Now they won’t surprise anyone. Making a beautiful drawing on the body costs from 200 rubles and more.

But is the pleasure worth the money?

Yes, undoubtedly, when you invite a very good and proven master who is able to depict a masterpiece on your face, the drawing is worth it. But often, especially at children's parties, people work whose professionalism does not always meet the high requirements.

I have faced a problem many times - I pay a person for his work, which I could do ten times better myself, and for free. Sometimes I even want to object: “And for these handwritings on my child’s cute face, I have to pay you 300 rubles?” But of course, I’d rather remain silent so as not to spoil anyone’s mood, especially my child, who is delighted with the “masterpiece.”

A couple of weeks ago I purchased face painting in the form of face crayons at the store. “This will come in handy!” - I thought, and threw the package of crayons into my basket.

By the way, I was familiar with makeup and face painting even before this. And I have used these cosmetics more than once at children's parties. Before this, I bought more expensive face painting in the form of felt-tip pens.

I still couldn’t try the crayons I bought. But today we still unpacked the pack. Then, in literally 2-3 minutes, I painted a simple butterfly on my daughter’s face.

The drawing is quite primitive. But the child was overjoyed.

I photographed the entire drawing process and will tell you about it now.

First I drew the head and body of the butterfly.

Then I outlined the outline of the wings.

And finally I made a couple of red dots on the wings.

That's all!

Now I’ll say a little about the advantages and disadvantages of face painting.

Face painting washes off perfectly. This is its undoubted advantage. But if a child touches his face, face painting can easily smear and even stain his clothes.

There are two types of face painting. Pencils (crayons, markers) and paints. In the latter case, face painting is more convenient to apply, since you can use brushes.

My face painting was in the form of little things. The crayons are quite thick and the lines are wide. Which doesn’t always look beautiful and doesn’t allow you to make a more elegant outline. And when drawing a picture, the chalk covers the area of work, which greatly affects the accuracy and symmetry of the picture.

But in general, you can paint the children’s faces at the holiday yourself, you just need to buy face painting and try a little bit.

How to do face painting at home

Makeup of the face or even the entire body is a technique that is widely used in both cinema and theater. This is a kind of art that is mastered by real professionals in their field. Of course, none of them will reveal all their secrets to you, but some of the tricks of the art of make-up will certainly interest you.

Instructions

So, to make up face right, you need to follow some general classical principles. Clean first face using toilet milk, egg cream or camphor lotion. Then lubricate it ( face) with your favorite lotion that suits your skin type. Here are the types of lotions: tonic (based on alcohol and herbs), acidifying (based on acids), herbal (based on herbs) and mixed (combines herbs, acids and alcohol). Toning cream should be applied to slightly damp face.

Next, light it well face. Cover it under the powder with a day toning cream, choosing a shade so that it is as close as possible to your skin tone. But there are two exceptions: for radiant pink skin it is better to use a beige cream, and for a peach one.

Powder face. After powdering, tint your eyebrows and lips again. Remember that you only need to apply paint (especially blush) a little at a time.

And here is the “zombie” effect. Prepare paints purchased at a theater store, white, blue, red powder, gouache, mascara and gel. You need to give it the former powder, then add blue with the help of powder, and then make it black (like the dead) around the eyes. It is important to style your hair using gel. Also add a little blood to them, the role of which will be played by thickly diluted gouache. Don't forget about the neck either. It also needs to be watered with “blood”.

Makeup has become an entire art, but one has to deal with this art almost every day. It entered our lives as a kind of clothing for the skin, and with the help of makeup we got the opportunity to change, reveal our individuality or hide flaws. Are there rules for applying makeup developed by women?

Instructions

Firstly, the main foundation of successfully applied makeup is clean, healthy and well-moisturized skin. Prep your skin in advance with a light exfoliation and then apply a moisturizer (preferably with spf factor that protects the skin from the sun's rays, which even pass through the clouds), it will make the skin texture much more smooth, the makeup will go on smoothly and will look incredible naturally. Makeup can make minor flaking much more noticeable, so prepare your skin thoroughly before applying foundation or foundation.

It is extremely important to choose the right color scheme for foundation and foundation. With their help, you hardly need to correct the color of your face, make it darker or lighter, or add a tan - in this case, the makeup will look like a real mask on your face, it will look like someone else’s. You can, however, use bronze powders on certain parts of the face (for example), but the foundation should match your natural skin tone. The same applies to powder - it is needed to complete and fix the makeup, as well as to give the face a pleasant matte finish, and not to make it much paler or, conversely, tanned.

Shadows in makeup can also be used in the daytime, but their shade should not be too dark, as it will look too dramatic - so leave black and dark gray colors, but you can use soft brown and fairly saturated colors in daytime. You can even apply smoky-eyes, sophisticated smoky makeup, the main thing is to carefully shade all the lines and boundaries.

In the daytime, a moisturizing gloss looks great, it looks natural and gives your lips an attractive, natural look. In the evening, you can use a “heavier” weapon - rich lipsticks. But keep in mind that before applying the lip skin should be perfectly moisturized, smooth and soft.

Blush can be the final stage of makeup; applying it requires skill and some experience, but if used skillfully, the result can be impressive - you will instantly look prettier, fresher, and become more beautiful. If you're not sure which shade of blush will suit you best, just choose a soft peach - it's a win-win option. Slightly more berry tones should be applied to brunettes with fair skin and light olive skin tones, while soft pastels are perfect for delicate skin types.

With the help of blush, you can correct an overly full or round face, highlighting the cheekbones and thereby giving the face a sculptural relief. Girls with sharper facial features are allowed to shade the blush towards the center of the cheeks, thereby slightly smoothing out excess thinness and making the cheeks plumper.

  • make up rules

Face painting has become an indispensable attribute of any children's parties and performances. This is not surprising - a few strokes of the brush, and any girl can turn into a beautiful butterfly, and a boy, for example, into a spiderman. In addition, face painting is completely safe and can be easily washed off with water. Usually such makeup is applied by a specially invited face painter, but there is nothing complicated about it.

You will need

  • - Special water-based paints;
  • - sponges;
  • - brushes made of natural hair;
  • - thin pointed brush.

Instructions

Before applying face painting for the first time, test the paints for an allergic reaction on a small area of skin.

Apply tone to your face. To do this, wet the sponge. Squeeze it thoroughly, making sure there is no water left in it. Rub the sponge into the paint and apply it onto your face using light circular motions. Make sure that the paint lies evenly and is evenly distributed over the entire face.
Apply face painting right up to the hairline, and the line along the lower edge of the face should be smooth and clear. Don't forget your eyelids. Ask your model to look up while applying color to the lower eyelid, then apply color to the upper eyelid. The sculpted parts of the face are usually the most challenging. There is nothing complicated about them. The folds of the lips, nose and corners of the eyes just need to be painted over more thoroughly.

After the first layer has dried, move on to the second stage. Take a brush, wet it, and apply paint in circular strokes. Hold the brush at a right angle to the model's skin. Draw lines, contours and elements of the future.

Then move on to the eyebrows and eyes. Never paint your eyebrows with dark mascara. If your eyes are pale, use a gray pencil. And if you want to lighten them, use eye shadow or powder. To make your eyes appear brighter, use a blue pencil or a matching eyeshadow color for the bottom contour. When applying eyeliner, pull your eyelid slightly. Neutral shades look best on the eyelid.

Finally, adjust the shape of your lips with or lipstick. It should be of muted tones, and you can apply glitter on top of it. Pale is suitable for daytime, bright for evening. Blush is chosen in accordance with the color of lipstick; apply it gently from the cheekbones.

  • how to learn to apply makeup

Most often, makeup is used in cases where a person has to go on stage or perform on television. It allows you to create various stage images, and if performed correctly technically, it helps the audience to more fully perceive their entire essence.

Instructions

Apply a cream to your face that matches the type and condition of your skin at the moment. For dry types, fatty and semi-fat creams are best; for oily types, quickly absorbing low-fat creams are best. Apply semi-thick substances to the skin by lightly tapping with several fingers, and liquid substances with light strokes. Carefully remove excess cream with paper napkins.

Choose a blush. They can be fatty, liquid, dry or in paste form. Choose a shade by mixing several blush colors together. Keep in mind that it should harmonize well with your face type, skin color and clothing. And also, be age appropriate. Light colors are suitable for young people, while older women should give preference to raspberry-colored blush. Combine brown tones with dark shades of clothing, but avoid yellowish ones.

Squeeze heavy blush onto the lower part of your left palm and smear it lightly. This is necessary so as not to take too much paint at one time. Apply them with the index finger of your right hand. Liquid blush is used in the same way, and dry blush is applied to skin that has been pre-treated with a small amount of powder.

To make the blush look natural, draw its borders, taking into account the shape of your face. If you have a round face, apply blush to the most prominent part of the cheek, gradually moving its borders downwards. On an oblong-shaped face, blush should be applied to the temple area, shading it along the upper part of the cheekbone and bringing it to the middle of the cheek in the shape of a crescent.

If you have wide cheekbones and a narrow chin, apply the bulk of the blush to the upper area of the cheekbones, smoothly rounding the edges of the transition, bringing them to the chin. For square-shaped faces, blush should be applied to the lower areas of the cheeks, slightly blending them upward.

Choose a powder. It can be liquid, dry or in powder form. For everyday and daytime makeup, the latter type is usually used, as it is lighter and does not clog pores. When choosing a shade, be guided by the color of your skin, and if necessary, mix several different varieties. Slightly pinkish shades work well for fair skin. And for dark-skinned women, it is always necessary to mix a little dark-colored powder with natural tones.

Apply the powder generously onto a large piece of cotton wool and lightly dust your neck, then move to your chin, cheeks and forehead. Finish application with the nose area. If you have a long nose, place the main tone from the tip to the bridge of the nose. Treat the area of skin between the nostrils with a powder of a darker shade.

Apply powder to a large nose, starting with a thin light line running along the entire back. Mask the sides of the nose with darker powder. A short nose can be visually lengthened by applying light powder from the tip to the bridge of the nose, and applying dark powder to the sides, bringing the line to the eyebrows. Remove excess powder with a soft brush. Change cotton swabs for powder every 3 uses, and for unhealthy skin, always use only clean ones.

The right makeup works wonders on your appearance - it hides flaws and emphasizes your strengths without creating a mask effect on your face. In addition, this makeup allows the skin to breathe freely and does not require constant correction. To do this kind of makeup, you don’t have to contact a makeup artist - you can master all the subtleties of this art on your own.

You will need

  • - Base makeup;
  • - foundation;
  • - loose powder;
  • - blush;
  • - shadows;
  • - Mascara;
  • - wax or gel for eyebrows;
  • - eyebrow shadows;
  • - Eyeliner;
  • - lipstick;
  • - contour pencil;
  • - lip gloss.

Instructions

The main rule of good makeup is well-groomed skin. In order for the tone, blush and shadows to lie flawlessly, you need to prepare it. Clean your face with milk, tonic or special wipes. Apply a light moisturizer to dry skin; for normal to oily skin, a smoothing base will be sufficient. Its task is to fill pores and make the skin flawlessly smooth. You can choose a product with special effects - for example, in the evening an illuminating base would be appropriate, and in the heat a coating with a matte effect would be suitable.

Apply a foundation over the base to even out the color. For skin with pronounced imperfections, a thick cream is suitable, for a face that does not need correction - a light mousse or liquid fluid. After applying the tone, wait a few minutes - it should sit well on the skin. Lightly dust your face with loose translucent powder.

A properly toned face needs some blush. Choose a suitable product in the form of pressed powder, cream, gel or liquid pigment. Blush is applied to the most prominent point of the cheekbone and carefully shaded in the form of a comma running from the cheekbone to the temples and chin. For daytime makeup, use matte and silky blush in complex natural shades - apricot, dark pink, plum brown. In evening makeup, you can use brighter colors with glitter and pearl particles.

Shape your eyebrows. Excess hairs at the temples and on the bridge of the nose can be plucked, making sure that the eyebrow pattern is not distorted. Fix the bend with gel or wax. A soft pencil or special shadows will add the desired color - they look very natural and do not crumble. Choose the color depending on the shade of your hair.

Apply a thin layer of eyeshadow on your eyelids in a natural shade - beige, light grey, blue-gray or soft green. To make your eyes appear brighter, highlight the inner corner with white, carefully shading it. Light shadows can also be applied under the eyebrow - this will visually enlarge the eyes. Darken the outer corner with shades of charcoal gray, chocolate or dark blue. For a more expressive look, line the upper eyelid with a pencil or liner. The same color can be used to mark the outer corner of the lower eyelid. Blend the line thoroughly to make it look softer.

Apply black, dark brown or gray mascara to your eyelashes. For brighter makeup, you can use fashionable turquoise, emerald or purple shades. To add a subtle highlight of color, apply them to the ends of your eyelashes, which are already coated with a base dark-colored mascara.

The final touch is the design of the lips. Powder them and carefully outline them with a soft pencil to match the lipstick. A colorless wax pencil is also very convenient - it will suit any shade of lipstick or gloss, preventing it from bleeding. If yours, pre-moisturize them with cream or balm. Apply lipstick or gloss of your favorite color on top. For evening makeup, you can use these two products at the same time - your lips will become bright and shiny, and your makeup will last longer.

Tip 9: How to correctly apply decorative cosmetics step by step

Applying decorative cosmetics is a very painstaking and skillful task, the result of which depends on many factors. With the help of cosmetics, you can highlight your lip line, make certain facial features expressive, and add freshness and brightness to your image. However, in order for the result to be truly worthwhile, it is important to apply cosmetics correctly and in a certain sequence.

You will need

  • foundation, powder, blush, mascara, lip liner, lipstick.

Instructions

Foundation not only hides facial imperfections, but is also the main base for makeup, so you need to start applying cosmetics with it. Smoothly and evenly distribute the cream over your entire face. You can use a special sponge for this, but your fingers will also work. In no case do not forget about the boundary between the face, neck and hairline. Carefully blend the foundation in these places so that the “clear” border is not visible in the light. Otherwise, others will get the impression that you are either wearing a mask or have applied your body tanning cream incorrectly.

Powder is needed to give a velvety appearance to the skin. It is multifunctional and is the main attribute when creating makeup. The powder visually tightens pores and removes unnatural and oily shine on the face. The most convenient way to apply the powder is with a special volume brush, which will prevent the powder from gathering into lumps on the bending lines of the facial muscles and wrinkles. The amount of powder on the face should be moderate, as you can get a sandy effect on the face. Also, do not forget about the boundaries with the neck and hairline.

Blush is used to highlight or soften the prominent line of the cheekbones. Blush for daytime makeup should be a natural color. Be sure to blend them thoroughly, otherwise they will be very noticeable, which will give your face an unnatural look. In order to apply blush correctly, you need to mentally draw a triangle that connects the outer edges of the left and right eyebrows, and the middle of the chin. This way you get an "inverted" triangle. Blush should be applied to the part where the sides of the triangle go.

Apply eye shadow and eyeliner. First, shadows are applied with a special brush. The space under the eyebrows is tinted with lighter shades than the upper eyelid; it is better to highlight the corners of the eyes with white or a natural shade. The lower eyelid is usually highlighted with eyeliner.

If you want to emphasize the line of your eyes and make your look more expressive, then you should use the mascara brush not straight up along the eyelashes, but rather slightly to the “upward” side, that is, towards the outer edge of the eyebrow. This way you will get the effect of eyelash extensions.

Using lipstick, you can draw lips like Angelina Jolie's, or you can make them as thin as two strings. The main thing is to choose the right lip liner. It must match the lipstick. Before using pencil and lipstick, you should apply a little powder or foundation to your lips. If you want to visually reduce the size of your lips, you should draw a pencil just above the natural lip line, then apply a dark lipstick to your lips. If you want to enlarge your lips and make them plump, then the pencil is also applied just above the natural line of the lips, and the lipstick should be selected in the lightest colors.

Eye makeup plays an important role in creating an image. The makeup technique depends on the color and shape of the eye, the time of day, the dominant color in clothing and much more. Current makeup must highlight the eyes and make them more expressive.

If you have green eyes, opt for any shade of brown and green eyeshadow. Copper and golden tones are also allowed. Peach, taupe and darker shades can be used as base shadows. Create evening makeup with dark purple, metallic and creamy shadows. For eyeliner, use gray-black or chocolate color. To visually enlarge your eyes, use a white or golden pencil.

Start your eye makeup with a simple wash to degrease your eyelids. After all, there is nothing worse than smeared arrows or sloppily applied shadows. When doing makeup, follow this sequence: first the eyeshadow base, then the shadows, and then you can apply mascara to your eyelashes. Apply the base starting from the lash area and ending under the eyebrows. Always draw the arrows first. When applying shadows, use a technique such as shading. Thanks to her, there are no boundaries between the shadows of two colors. Always apply your primary color eyeshadow to your eyelids first. And on top of them you can add countless shades.

To create evening eye makeup, use the following technique: apply the main eyeshadow color near the eyelash area. Start from the middle of the eyelid and end at the crease. Then apply the base color to the lower eyelid. Now apply shadows of a darker color on top with a thin line. Start from the inner corner of the eye and end at the outer corner. The line of shadows should gradually become wider. After this, do the shading.

When it comes to correcting the shape of the eyes, there are many techniques that can help eliminate this or that defect. So, drooping arrows can be visually raised if you draw arrows on the eyelids and shade them so that they rise to the temples. Correct drooping eyelids by applying a small shadow to the upper crease. For wide-set eyes, darken the inner corner of the eyelid. This will help bring the eyes closer together visually. For narrow-set eyes, on the contrary, place dark shadows on the outside. If you have round eyes, don't outline them. Narrow eyes can be widened by running a white pencil along the mucous membrane of the lower and upper eyelids. Add mystery to bulging eyes by covering the entire eyelid with matte eyeshadow.

Selection of cosmetics

Today you can find a variety of products on sale. Some of them are very easy to use, others require the experienced hand of a professional makeup artist. The variety of shades, textures and brands makes choosing very difficult. Start by forming a basic set, and then expand it based on your capabilities.

An indispensable product for eye makeup is eye shadow. They can be powder, cream or gel. For everyday makeup, you need basic colors in a neutral range; for the evening, darker shades with glitter are useful. You should have three or four shades of eyeshadow in your makeup bag. These can be custom options or a ready-made set. Don't forget about convenient applicators or brushes.

For eye makeup you will need mascara. It can be lengthening, curling, voluminous. Some options combine several functions at once. It is most convenient to use liquid mascara with a brush built into the cap. A good brush should not only paint the eyelashes, but also separate them, removing excess product.

You can highlight your eyes with pencil, liquid, gel or cream eyeliner - this will give them expressiveness. For beginners, a pencil or felt-tip pen is suitable; for those more experienced in makeup, you can try eyeliner in cream or gel. There are products on sale in different colors - from jet black to gold and silver.

You should also have other important little things in your cosmetic bag: an eye shadow base, an eyelash curler, a makeup fixative, artificial eyelashes, and various dry pigments. These products are useful for an evening out and experimenting with makeup.

First, degrease your eyelids by wiping them with a mild alcohol-free toner. Thermal water-based products that do not contain dyes or strong fragrances are suitable. Then massage a small amount of fixing base into the skin. This product will extend the life of your makeup, and the shadows on top of the base will lie smoother and acquire a more saturated color.

The next stage is applying shadows. They are applied with brushes made of natural or synthetic bristles or soft applicators. Brushes give a more delicate color; the applicator allows you to draw clear, bright lines. The most saturated color is obtained when using a slightly damp sponge. Cream and gel shadows are easy to apply with your fingertips. Apply shadow from the inner corner of the eye to the outer corner, rubbing the product well to avoid the appearance of streaks and spots.

After the shadows comes the line of the eyeliner. Most often it is applied to the upper eyelid, but sometimes the lower eyelid is also applied. To make the lines clearer, sharpen the pencil first. If you are using a cream eyeliner, apply it with a flat angled brush or a thin round brush. Draw a line from the inner corner of the eye to the outer corner, staying at the very roots of the eyelashes.

The final stage is applying mascara. If your curls are too straight, you can curl them using special curling irons. Pinch the hairs at the roots, hold for a minute, and then carefully remove the curling iron. Eyelashes are painted in one or two layers, first applying mascara to the upper hairs and then coloring the lower ones. It is worth applying an additional portion of mascara to the outer corners - this will visually enlarge your eyes. Apply mascara in smooth movements from roots to ends, carefully combing hairs.
