The hardest thing was to look convincing on camera,” comments Milos, “so I watched the performances of Russian figure skaters. What these guys do on the ice is not just a show, but real art.

Aglaya’s training program included not only triple sheepskin coats and axels, but also psychological immersion in the role. In the story, her heroine receives a serious injury and stubbornly tries to return to the ice.

Our producers found a girl in one rehabilitation center who received the same injury as my heroine,” the actress shares. - I went to see her, she showed me how she was recovering, told me how she felt. Were there any stunt doubles on the set? Certainly. But, a maximalist in her profession, Aglaya was “eager to fight” despite the cries of the producers and her own fears. I remember that during filming in Sochi, we really wanted to bungee jump,” says the actress. - But the producers punished us like little kids: they sent us to the usual attractions and said that until we finished filming, we couldn’t take any risks. And at the same time they jumped!
