"See me on a less scandalous show"

- Elena, yours. You voiced the reason - doctors forbade you to fly due to a diagnosis of unstable angina. What's happened? When will we see you on screen and on what channel?

— Let me clarify that I was prohibited from flying frequently. In order for the “Flying Squad” to go out, you need to fly at least four times a week, constantly live on the plane and sleep little. . I thought that I was able to recover and would fly a lot again. But the “battle wounds” made themselves felt in December. There were hopes that I would be able to return to duty in January, but they did not materialize. Doctors forbade frequent flying and recommended avoiding stress. And, just like in “Revizorro”, I had to make a choice. But this was not an ultimatum to the channel. Everyone saw how hard it was for me to work the last month. We filmed five programs, the last one was done at the limit of my strength. I would like to say a huge thank you to the employees of Channel One who tried to find a compromise: put me in the studio and send correspondents to the regions. But this did not seem convincing enough to everyone, and to me in particular. We decided to suspend the program because health is more important to me. Now with the producers of First, we are thinking about a project that I can do while constantly working in Moscow. There are already ideas, which means that viewers will soon see me on the screen. But, I think, in a less scandalous show.

— If you believe, “a woman born in the year of the Horse is a hyper-responsible person and a workaholic.” Have you worked your ass off, and have you started listening to doctors long ago?

— Of course, I suffered from my hyper-responsibility and workaholism! I worked seven days a week for three and a half years. Readers won’t believe it: how is it possible without days off?! Yes, in the literal sense of the word - seven days a week. I made 6-7 flights a week, then returned to Moscow, slept for a day, and then ran back to filming, meetings, and somewhere else. I came to Revizorro as a very healthy person, so I started off vigorously: I worked a lot, flew a lot. I could not sleep for two days. The flight often took place at 5 am, meaning you had to leave home at 2 am. We arrived at 8 am, 2 hours later I was at the shoot. After a while, problems began: headaches, because of which I could not sleep. Then doctors for the first time banned frequent flights. One day we had an event planned for sponsors of the “Friday!” channel. I led him with. On the morning of that day, I lost consciousness in the bathroom, falling face-first onto the tiles from the height of my height. I hit my chin—the doctors diagnosed a severe concussion and a deep cut in my chin. Thank God, my husband was at home - he helped, and we went to the surgeon. While I was waiting for the doctor, I received a call from the TV channel: “Lena, you should be there at four.” I explain that I fell, I need stitches, if the swelling doesn’t go down, I’m unlikely to be able to go on stage, because of the concussion I feel sick... In response I heard: “Okay, then come not at four, but at five.” My husband didn’t believe it at first: “Are you going to go?!” They stitched me up for 40 minutes: I ended up with a huge scar and felt dizzy. But I'm coming! Because I promised, because they won’t find a replacement for me. Later I began to understand that no one would appreciate feats at the expense of health. The makeup artist then hid the scar, but every time I smiled on stage, blood flowed from it... Having introduced the artist, I went backstage, where my makeup was touched up. At home that same evening I fell ill, then it took me a long time to recover. But I might not have gone...

— Did your husband try to stop you from such “exploits”?

— Yes, it was Yura who convinced me to take care of my health. Previously, I couldn’t stop: workaholism is my habit. Now I began to think about my health and devote more time to my family. Since I am also a producer, it happened that at home I could not distract myself, I continued to be in the image: “So, you called somewhere, but did they manage to resolve this issue?” The husband sharply stopped such a tone - he showed who was boss in the house. I am very lucky in this life with a family: with a husband, with parents who are very worried about me.

— You are in the “Flying Squad”. Revizorro fought against violations in private business. When there was more aggression, was it harder?

— Everything depends only on the human factor. There are officials who want to help and are helping. There are fewer aggressive people among officials. People defended their business with knives and axes. Officials who don’t want to help simply hide: either they have sudden sick days, or meetings, or business trips.

I still walked with the guards, but more calmly, because I was sure that we would not be maimed or killed anywhere. “The Flying Squad” is more difficult emotionally - I went through every difficult human story through myself. It was the same in “Revizorro”: I always represented people who go to restaurants where they are bullied, and fought for their rights. That's why there was a result. We filmed five programs with the Flying Squad, and we helped in these five cases. I am in direct contact with the heroes of the “Flying Squad” programs: on New Year’s holidays they congratulated me. Good wishes also came from Anechka from Samara. The story of this 13-year-old girl with cerebral palsy and her mother was especially memorable. I was shocked by their incredible optimism. I’m happy that we helped solve the problem of installing a ramp in their house, and Anechka is no longer locked within four walls.

— What do you do besides television?

— Do you easily find a common language with children? Are you and your husband thinking about children?

— I always easily find a common language with children. Children feel when they are loved, and I love them very much. Until I was 30, I didn’t think about having a child because I wasn’t emotionally ready for his appearance. To the question: “Lena, when will you have children?” always answered: “This will happen when I meet the person I love and we have a family. I want my children to have both a mom and a dad.” When they asked: “What if you don’t meet such a person?” I confidently answered: “Then I won’t give birth.” I never wanted to give birth for myself. Giving birth and then dumping the child on the parents is not my option. For the first time in my life I thought about children at 35 years old. Having met Yura, I realized: now I’m ready to become a mother. I am sure that when you are emotionally ready, then motherhood goes differently, and you relate to the child differently. I hope that everything will work out for me. I don’t try my scheme on others - everyone has their own path.

“I didn’t work according to the script”

— On February 14, two years ago, Yuri proposed to you. You were 37 years old. Have you changed around your husband?

“I’ve become calmer with Yura, because I don’t have to make many decisions on my own.” All my life I made all the decisions myself: about moving to Moscow, changing jobs, and everything else. I built my career without anyone’s help. You get tired of confrontation. Now I enjoy the fact that I no longer need to “stop a galloping horse or a burning hut.” I can be weak and domestic. Many people consider me a careerist. But when at the age of 28 I changed my profession, studied, and then built a career, there was simply no person I would marry. If this had happened, then I would have been not just a workhorse, but also a wife and mother. I might choose family over career. But fate didn’t give me a choice here. At first she patted me, and only then gave me the man I needed, with whom I felt like a real woman.

— Yuri is handling your legal affairs. Have all the issues with your previous employer been resolved?

— My husband takes care of many of my affairs, including legal ones. , the agreement with Channel One has now already been signed, all issues have been resolved. I made the decision to switch to First with my husband. When this offer came, I really wanted to work, to do something useful. I'm happy with my decision. On Friday! the head of the channel saw me only as the presenter of “Revizorro”. I was not given a new project, and six months before leaving, if I refused to appear in promotional videos for other programs.

— Do you think the “Revizorro” project has not exhausted itself? Do you have a chance to achieve the ratings that you had?

— I don’t know Anastasia Samburskaya, so I can’t say whether there are chances or not. I filmed the program “Revizorro” with a team of five people. They were in the same boat with me: we fought for the project to be honest, socially significant and help people. When I didn’t know what rating to give a restaurant, we sat down and decided together. We didn't think about ratings and numbers. I lived the project 105%. This was the secret of success. You can’t act - this is life, I didn’t work according to the script. I did the Moscow season with another team. This team is now working with Samburskaya. I refused to film the Moscow “Revizorro” precisely because I personally found out several times that information was being leaked about which establishments we were going to. I absolutely couldn't control it. Therefore, I have doubts about the veracity of how this team will work. For my part, I wish them success. If they film honestly and don’t set anyone up, then the program will remain socially significant and useful to people. I'll be happy about that. Trust me. I worked at Revizorro for four years: at the cost of my own health, together with the team I ensured that the program became interesting and useful for people. If Nastasya Samburskaya fights for people’s rights at the cost of her time, then everything will work out for her.

“I grabbed fate by the tail”

— Do you cook your husband’s dinners yourself?

— I fanatically love to cook. My parents and husband love my dishes. I watch a lot of cooking programs and am constantly learning. I don’t, but I extremely rarely eat meat, more often chicken and fish. So I took a course to learn how to fry steaks for my husband.

- This is your anniversary year - 40 years. Is life just beginning?

“I want people to look at me and say: “Yes, at 40, life is just beginning!” And at 40 you can look good, be happy, plan and have children. It seems to me that publicity is given for this, and not just to boast about subscribers on Instagram. If my collaboration with Channel One goes very well, then I will be happy, I will try to work professionally, to be even better, more athletic...

— Do you believe in fate or in the proverb “Water does not flow under a lying stone”?

— One day, a friend offered to go with her to study at the School of Television. Why did I go? After all, I never dreamed of becoming a TV presenter. Apparently this was predetermined. The rest depended on my ability to work. I remember calling several students and offering to do their homework for them - I was so interested in studying. Fate gives us a chance - we must take advantage of it, grab fate by the tail. The channel’s managers and producers saw the necessary potential in me and gave me a chance at the “Revizorro” casting, and I took full advantage of it. The fact that I became a presenter who works live without a script is the result of my hard work. I sat with the teachers for a long time, watched my broadcasts and learned. Before “Revizorro”, I managed to work in a large media group as a chief editor, an editor at “”, and a producer of documentaries for the “Friday!” channel. A year has passed since I graduated from the School of Television and got my first well-paid job. During this time, I had to freeze on the film set in order to star in episodes for little money. But I'm not ashamed of it. I have walked my own path, which proves to everyone: you can achieve success without sleeping with producers or betraying yourself. This is the most important thing.

After several unsuccessful attempts to find a suitable designer, Elena turned her attention to an architect from Novosibirsk - Maxim Dureev.

They immediately found a common language and after the first sketches they began to gradually remodel the design of the mansion. It was decided to decorate the entire cottage in white colors with black or dark brown details.

Due to Elena’s heavy workload, Maxim did the entire project without her presence. Letuchaya’s main wishes were: lightness in the interior, a four-poster bed, and that the office should feel “like an office.” For the rest, she relied on Dureev’s taste and design skills.

In the hall they decided to install two huge cabinets (from floor to ceiling) with glass trim, which visually significantly increases the space. For convenience, two small poufs were placed.

A piano fits very harmoniously into a small niche on the way to the living room, along with numerous books and plants.

In the living room there are two large sofas and a small table, but Elena did not like the fireplace in the proposed 3D design, so it was decided to change it.

The office is made with turquoise elements, and one can immediately recognize the owner’s favorite hobby - surfing. Here, as in other rooms, there is nothing superfluous, but the black color is already being replaced by dark brown and all attention is focused on the turquoise color of the chair.

Large and completely white, with retractable mirrored doors, the dressing room is divided into two parts - “for him” and “for her”.

The master bedroom is decorated in the same white colors. In the middle of the room there is a huge mirror on the wall, and in the center of attention is a large wooden four-poster bed, which Elena dreamed of seeing in her interior.
