I wanted to make scenery for the "Three Little Pigs" finger theater, namely, the houses that the piglets made according to the fairy tale, I came up with it right away, but it didn’t work out so quickly! With the first straw for Nif-Nif, the decision immediately came to make from sesal. The second of the rods for Nuf-Nuf, I had to break my head, but I came up with, connected the twigs and the roof, like from logs, well, I liked the result, but with the third of the bricks for Naf-Naf I had to ... think, but also with this task I did it. As a basis, in the first two houses, I took empty cups, glued them end-to-end, and cut off the bottom of one, and the third one was not so difficult to come up with, an empty box of sweets (truffles) came in handy! Then I figured out how to tie the roof, sides, window (cut off the bottom from one cup). There was a multi-colored wire at hand, just three colors and it was in business. The brick had to be sewn in detail first, and then put on the box, as a base, and glued with a moment. The threads went different both in quality and in texture, since there are a lot of them in the house.

1. Description: a detailed master class with step-by-step photos will allow even a beginner to make fairy-tale characters using the corrugated quilling technique.

Purpose: this master class is intended for elementary school students, teachers of additional education, as well as for those who are interested in the topic "Tales" or the technology of making toys from corrugated cardboard.

Target: Creation of the characters of the fairy tale "Three Little Pigs"

Tasks:
- to instill interest in creative activities, the desire to create unique works with your own hands;
- develop and practice skills in working with corrugated cardboard
- to cultivate accuracy and artistic taste, to form a positive worldview, love and interest in the culture of the Russian people.

2. Necessary tools and materials: sheets of corrugated cardboard in different colors, a ruler, scissors, braid "vyun", yarn, PVA glue - M "Super", a thermal gun with rods, an awl, eyes
Safety precautions when working with scissors:
When cutting, open the scissors wide and hold the ends away from you.
Be careful not to hurt the fingers of your left hand.
Rotate the paper as you cut out the part.
Pass the scissors only when closed, rings first.
When working, do not hold the scissors with the ends up.
Don't leave them open.
Do not work with loose scissors.
Work with scissors only at your workplace.
Rules for working with glue:
Close the lid tightly when finished working with glue.
If the adhesive gets on the skin, it must be wiped off with a damp cloth.

An amazing material - corrugated cardboard - is so simple and at the same time unusual, affordable and pleasant, its strips are dense and elastic, the figures from them are voluminous, beautiful, and little time is spent on manufacturing. Working with corrugated cardboard develops fine motor skills, creative thinking, and teaches the basics of design. Unlike paper, working with corrugated cardboard is not so long and painstaking. Products are obtained much faster and more voluminous, which makes it possible to engage in creativity with children from preschool age.
Currently, corrugated cardboard is found in Russian, German, Chinese and Korean production. It can be sheet or already cut into strips 1 cm wide. Cardboard from different manufacturers differs somewhat in length and density. Therefore, it is desirable to use cardboard of the same brand when working on the product.
If it is not possible to purchase ready-made strips, you can get by with corrugated cardboard from sets for children's creativity by cutting the sheets into strips using a clerical knife or scissors. The main thing is that the strips must be of the same quality and the same length. In our work, we use sheet corrugated cardboard 40 by 55 cm, cutting it into strips 1 cm wide. To get large-sized parts, we will have to glue the strips of the desired colors sequentially, lubricating the ends of the strips with glue. From the obtained strips we will glue the necessary basic forms, fix them on the inside with glue for the hardness of the structure, and then, as from a designer from dried parts, assemble the images we need.

We invite you to look into our workshop, and if you like crafts, then thanks to our instructions you can not only make your own fairy-tale characters, but even play a fairy tale.
There are three piglets in the fairy tale and all have a head, ears, nose, mouth, paws, tail. Let's prepare all these details, taking into account the fact that there are three piglets, that is, in triplicate. Then we individualize the image of each piglet, with the help of clothes and decorative elements.

3. For the head we glue two ovals (we count 6 ribs on the strip, bend and twist) 5 strips each.

4. By shifting the coils, we give the shape of a dome.

5. Coat with glue and dry.

6. We glue the dried parts together. Glue the resulting joint between the parts with a strip of cardboard.

7. For the heel, cut the strip lengthwise with scissors (now its width is 0.5 cm), count 4 ribs on the strip, bend and twist into an oval.

8. For the ears, we will also cut the strips along with scissors (now its width is 0.5 cm). For one ear, we take 0.5 strips of light yellow + 0.5 strips of pink. We twist into disks, fix the end and with the help of our fingers we give the ears a triangular shape.

9. By pressing with your thumb, we give a slightly curved shape, coat with glue and dry.

10. For the mouth, we take 7.5 cm strips of red color and 7.5 cm strips of pink color (0.5 cm wide), glue them in series, twist into a disk, give the desired shape and fix with glue.

11. For the lower foot, take a pink strip, count 8 ribs, twist into an oval and make two turns with black cardboard. So let's prepare four paws for two piglets. And for the third piglet, we count 6 ribs on a pink strip, twist it into an oval and make two black turns, so we will prepare two paws.

12. For one upper foot, take a strip 13 cm long, count 4 ribs and twist into an oval. On the one hand, we will give the oval a shape as shown in the photo.

13. For ponytails, fold a strip 15 cm long, 0.5 cm wide into three, coat with glue, glue and bend in the shape of a hook. The general details for the piglets are ready.

14. Let's take on the manufacture of the first piglet, let it be Nif - Nif.
For the shirt, glue a disk of 4 yellow stripes and 4 disks for sleeves, one yellow strip each.

15. For panties, glue a disk of 4 green stripes and two disks of 1.5 strips each, these will be the legs.

16. Take a large yellow disk and a large green disk, shifting the turns of the disk, give them the shape of a dome, fix it with glue, let it dry. Then glue the resulting domes together.

17. Glue the resulting joint between the parts with a strip of dark green cardboard. This is the body of a pig.

18. Two small green disks, shifting the turns, give the shape of cones. Fix with glue and dry.

19. Glue the torso to the legs. The gluing area in this case is very small and it is more reasonable to use a thermal gun (this assistance can be provided by the teacher or the student will do this under the supervision of the teacher, having previously spoken out the safety precautions when working with this tool).

20. Attaching the head with a wire. The teacher, using an awl, makes a hole in the head of the piglet and in the upper body. Then, using a knitting needle, the hole is enlarged to the desired size, a wire is inserted there equal to the length of the body + the height of the head. This fastening allows the piglet to turn its head, tilt its head, making the image more expressive.

21. We dress the head, glue the ears and heels.

22. Glue the mouth under the heels.

23. We make straps on the pants from dark green stripes and decorate them with buttons. We make a collar from a strip glued into a ring.

24. Back to the shirt. We prepared 4 yellow discs, 1 strip for sleeves each (see photo No. 14). We give the two disks the shape of a dome by carefully shifting the coils. We give the other two disks the shape of a curved cone, on the one hand we shift the turns as usual, on the other a little bit. Fix with glue and dry.

25. We glue the dome and the curved cone in pairs. We decorate the sleeves, at the place of gluing, by gluing a strip of green cardboard.

26. We put the piglet on its legs, glue the upper paws. We decorate the muzzle, glue the hairstyle, flower eyes, finish the heels with half beads. To complete the image in the foot, we give a bunch of straw.

27. Now it's your turn Nuf - Nufa. Let's dress him up differently. For the shirt, glue a disk of 6 white stripes and 4 disks for the sleeves, one strip each.

28. For panties, glue a disk of 3 green stripes and 2 disks of 1.5 strips each.

29. By shifting the coils, we will give the large white disk (shirt) the shape of a blunt cone, and we will give the large green disk the shape of a very low dome.

30. Glue the green part inside the white cone.

31. To two small green disks, shifting the coils, we give the shape of cones. Fix with glue and dry. These are pants.

32. Glue the torso to the legs. 33. The head is attached in the same way as in the first piglet (see photo No. 20).

34. Back to the shirt. We prepared 4 white discs, 1 strip for sleeves each (see photo No. 27). We give the two disks the shape of a dome by carefully shifting the coils. We give the other two disks the shape of a cone. Fix with glue and dry.

35. We glue the cone and the dome in pairs. We decorate the sleeves, at the place of gluing, by gluing a strip of green cardboard and a “loach” braid.

36. We decorate the shirt with strips of green cardboard and “loach” braid, decorate the muzzle, glue the sleeves, decorate the pig’s neck with a braid collar.

37. We put the piglet on its legs, glue the upper paws and the cup. Nuf - Nuf is ready.

38. For a shirt Naf - Nafa glue a disk of 6 blue stripes and 2 disks for sleeves of 1.5 strips.

39. For panties, glue a disk of 4 dark blue stripes and two disks of 1.5 strips each, these will be pant legs.

40. By shifting the coils, we will give the large blue disk (shirt) the shape of a blunt cone, and we will give the large dark blue disk the shape of a very low dome.
Fix with glue and let dry.

41. Glue the dark blue part inside the blue cone.

42. By shifting the coils, we will give two dark blue disks (trouser legs) the shape of a very blunt cone, as shown in the photo. Fix with glue and let dry.

43. Glue the resulting trousers with the wide side under the shirt.

44. We return to the small blue disks (sleeves), by shifting the coils, we give them the shape of a sharp cone. Fix with glue and let dry.

45. We decorate the edge of the sleeve with a lilac strip of cardboard and a braid "loach".

46. We put the pig on its legs. The attachment of the head is the same as that of the first piglet (see photo No. 20). We decorate the edge of the shirt and the collar with a lilac strip of cardboard and a braid "loach".

47. Glue the sleeves.

48. For the upper paws, we take 0.5 strips of pink cardboard, count 12 ribs, coat with glue, fold and give a slightly curved shape. We dry.

49. Glue the paws into the sleeves. We make a muzzle. Here is Naf - Naf is ready.

Mastering wolf. To make the head, we need to glue two discs of 4 strips in length. Let's give the disks the shape of a high dome. Coat with glue and let dry.

55. For the ears, glue two disks from one strip of light yellow cardboard and 0.5 strips of gray cardboard, fix the end and use your fingers to give the ears a triangular shape. Coat with glue and let dry.

56. For the upper part of the muzzle, we glue a disk of 1.5 strips of gray cardboard and an oval of 0.5 strips of red and 0.5 strips of gray (0.5 cm wide), counting 4 ribs.

57. Shape the disk for the upper part of the wolf's muzzle into an inclined blunt cone, coat with glue and dry. The lower part of the muzzle is also smeared with glue. All details for the wolf's head are ready.

58. Wolf shirt consists of three parts. For the top of the shirt, we glue two discs of 4 burgundy stripes each.

59. For the third part, we glue a disc of 5 burgundy stripes.

60. We give the prepared parts a shape: part 1 - shifting the turns of the disk, give it the shape of a dome; detail 2 - shifting the turns of the disk, give it the shape of a cone; detail 3 - shifting the turns of the disk, give it the shape of a very low dome. Lubricate the obtained parts from the inside with glue and let them dry.

61. We connect the dried parts 1 and 2 together with glue, glue the resulting joint between the parts with a strip of cardboard - this is the top of the shirt. Glue the resulting part to the convex side of part 3 (connected the top and bottom of the shirt).

62. Now let's prepare the details of the sleeves. To do this, twist 4 discs of 2 stripes of burgundy color.

63. We give the two disks the shape of a dome, and the other two discs the shape of a curved cone on one side we shift the turns as usual, on the other a little less. Fix with glue, dry.

64. We glue the dome and the curved cone in pairs. We decorate the sleeves, at the place of gluing we glue a strip of green cardboard and a braid "loach".

65. For pants, we twist 2 swamp-colored disks of 3 strips.

66. We give them the shape of a curved cone, and on the one hand we shift the turns as usual, on the other a little less. Fix with glue, dry.

Recently, theatrical performances have become less frequent, it would be necessary to arrange this business, and therefore yesterday I supplemented our schedule with this fabulous pastime. Well, this post about the three little pigs. Vlad does not like the story in the book version, but he actively participates in the production, which actually makes me happy. His character is a wolf, he already knows his role very well, so I don’t voice his hero.

A little about the stage. This is a box, the scene itself is made according to the principle of a TV, the background is covered with a cloth so that my body parts 😉 can not be seen, only my hands. But now it seems to me that this option is not very convenient.

Almost all of our characters are printed on a conventional printer and colored with felt-tip pens. Then they are laminated with adhesive tape and attached to a toilet paper roll on self-adhesive tape. The roll itself is also glued with adhesive tape for greater versatility, that is, there are many more fairy tales and there are many heroes, and therefore, in order not to start a new roll-stand for each hero, they simply change, and nothing is torn because of the adhesive tape.

The houses are made in different versions and the most ugly, as my son noticed, is a house made of straw. Intends to throw it out every time. Other houses are more interesting.

The branch house is made from a small juice box. The branches are glued with hot glue. I love this glue, glues almost everything!

The Naf-Naf house is also out of the box. The stones are decorative, also glued with hot glue.

Materials used for crafts: transparent plastic bottles with a capacity of 5l / 3pcs, liquid nails, scissors, gray twine, yellow twine, herbal brush, grass for decor, plane tree bark, pebbles, cardboard.

1. For the base, you need a 5l bottle, cut out a rectangle with scissors, this will serve as a window for us. We take "liquid Nails" apply on a plastic surface and begin to wind a colored tourniquet around the bottle. We apply liquid nails again and wind another layer of tourniquet, closing the gaps.

2. When the glue dries, cut the tourniquet in the place where we have a window and glue the edges again, repeat these steps with the second bottle.

3. Getting to the roof for "straw house» . We insert a whitewash brush made of natural material into the neck of the bottle and apply blades of grass to it with the fluffy side down, fix it with a yellow tourniquet. Ours is ready house! For the roof of the second house use the bark of the sycamore tree (I collected it in mid-July in Krasnodar) the bark was broken into approximately equal squares and evenly glued with the technique "scales" to a cardboard blank in the form of a roof cone. VOILA! HOUSE READY!

4. Third house"brick" or "stone" takes longer but more beautiful! Only glued to polymer adhesive or tile adhesive. The house is still in the process of being built, I will post photos later!

I'm glad to introduce you master class on making coffee toys from Irina Ledovskaya. These are symbols of the future 2019 year of the pig according to the Chinese calendar.

Coffee toys "3 little pigs"

There were three little pigs. Chubby, plump and always in a good mood. This mood, along with the coffee aroma emanating from the piglets, is transmitted to the house in which the brothers live.

To make funny coffee toys you will need the following materials:

white dense fabric such as calico;
synthetic winterizer for stuffing toys;
instant coffee;
ground cinnamon;
vanilla sugar;
PVA glue;
acrylic paints;
black gel pen.

Also, synthetic brushes and a toothbrush, scissors, will be needed in the work.

The pattern of piglets can be redrawn directly from the computer: we attach a sheet of paper to the monitor and trace the pattern with a simple pencil. Piglets are about 16 cm tall.

It is advisable to immediately make a pattern from thin cardboard, it is more convenient to use than paper.

Fold the fabric in half and circle the pig three times on one side.

We sew both layers of fabric together on the sewing machine along the marked lines. We begin to sew between the legs and immediately finish the seam, not reaching the beginning of the line about 2 cm. Through the holes left, we will turn and stuff the toys.

We cut out the stitched blanks, stepping back from the lines around about 0.5 cm - these are allowances. We do not cut the threads at the beginning and at the end of the lines closely, so that during further work with the blanks the seams do not bloom. Next, on the allowances, we cut out the cloves, which serve to ensure that the seams on the finished products do not wrinkle. We do not make teeth against the holes left.

We twist the piglets with the help of the closed tips of the scissors or some kind of stick.

We stuff the turned-out blanks with fluffy padding polyester.

Having achieved the desired shape of the toys, we sew up the hole and attach the thread between the ears.

We make a coloring solution: pour a teaspoon of instant coffee with 70 mg of boiling water, add half a teaspoon of ground cinnamon and vanilla sugar. Mix well, and pour in one and a half teaspoons of PVA glue. Once again, mix well and you can start painting toys with a warm solution. We use an old toothbrush as a brush. With its help, we rub the coffee solution on the surface of the toys so that only the fabric is wetted, and the synthetic winterizer inside does not get wet. This can be achieved by picking up a small amount of solution on the brush and quickly rubbing it over the fabric.

With the help of threads attached between the ears, we tie the toys to the oven grate of the gas stove. Dry the piglets on low heat for about 15 minutes. If after the expiration of this time wet spots remain, we dry the products already with the fire turned off. Due to the glue in the coloring composition, the surface of the “baked” toys becomes hard and rough.

On such a surface with a pencil, you can easily draw a drawing. We draw the details of the images of piglets. You can sketch the appearance of the characters in advance on paper, and then transfer them to the fabric.

Next, paint with brushes clothes, sweets, eyes, hooves with any acrylic paint (it may not be intended for fabric). Just remember to dry a layer of paint before applying peas and pupils on top. To make the peas the same size, apply them with the back of the brush. We apply small dots with the tip of a toothpick and leave the toys to dry.
