The transition to remote interaction with government agencies is a logical and already irreversible process. An Internet portal was created to receive public services and information about them in electronic form. In test mode, the resource began work in the fall of 2009 and was a reference resource, and since April 2010, users have gained access to their personal account and the ability to order services via the Internet.

What is ESIA and why is account verification required?

An account in the ESIA is an electronic identification of a consumer of public services that allows you to use the portal without restrictions. The profile stores personal information - full name, date of birth, registration address, passport data, SNILS, medical policy, and so on. When creating an account and entering personal data into the ESIA, passport data and SNILS are automatically checked, but the system cannot remotely verify the identity of the subscriber, so the entry must be confirmed.

An unverified account does not provide full access to resources, a citizen can only use the help section. In order to evaluate all the features of the website and get the benefits (we will discuss them below) of a verified user, the account is confirmed in the ESIA.

How to verify an account?

At the moment, there are three methods for verifying the ESIA user:

  • through EDS or UEC;
  • by registered mail of the Russian Post;
  • in person at the MFC.

Not everyone has a digital signature. Typically, this method is chosen by legal entities or individual entrepreneurs who have long had an EDS for signing bank and tax documents. Not everyone has a universal electronic UEC card either. The easiest way to confirm an account in the absence of an EDS or UEC is to go to the nearest MFC. If the profile in your personal account is filled out (passport data, phone number, registration address, SNILS are entered), you only need to take your passport to the MFC. The registration procedure takes no more than 5 minutes - and a citizen opens up wide opportunities for remote interaction with government services.

Special cases of using the State Services portal

First of all, motorists appreciated the convenience of the new Internet resource. Many hours of queues at the traffic police, which car owners patiently stood to replace a driver's license or remove / register a vehicle, have sunk into oblivion with the advent of the State Services website. It is enough, by going to the Personal Account, to select the necessary one in the catalog of public services, fill in all the columns, select the nearest MREO subdivision, send an application, indicate the date and time of admission to the traffic police - and appear on the selected day to complete the documents.

Important information: the state fee can be paid remotely immediately after sending the application. You will receive an e-mail notification that you need to transfer money. Does the system have any flaws?

  2. Bank VTB24 offers the opportunity to confirm the account of public services, but already with a personal visit to the office. But they promise to make a confirmation immediately. Well, this option can also be convenient if the VTB24 bank office is located near you.
  3. Bank of Moscow also joined this program. If you live in Moscow, then you can easily find a bank branch. Account verification through this bank is also fast.

It is possible that other banks are connected to the public services program, but there is no such information on the network at the moment.

Why does this system work? The year you received a loan, or issued a debit card at a bank, you left your passport details. A priori, your identity has been verified. Therefore, it is enough for a bank employee to indicate in a computer program that you have confirmation of documents, this is enough for the public services portal. Why does it make sense to go to the bank to confirm the account? A bank branch may be geographically closer to you than an MFC branch. And besides, there will most likely be fewer queues at the bank.

Another way verify your account on the portal of public services it is by sending a letter by mail. In this case, I will simply send you a confirmation code by mail. This option is relevant for those who do not urgently need to make a confirmation, since the letter can take several days, or even weeks. Electronic signature

The most difficult and not very convenient way. But, for someone, just the right way to verify an account. You need to get an electronic signature, you can use it for online paperwork. The disadvantages of this method are that, firstly, it is not free, and secondly, the Atlas-2 system is not available in all regions of the country.
