Birthday in the month of Ramadan. Birthday in Ramadan

Ramadan is the ninth month in the Islamic calendar and is observed by Muslims around the world as a month of fasting to commemorate the first revelation of the Quran to Muhammad, according to the Islamic faith. This annual event is considered one of the five pillars of Islam. A month lasts 29-30 days.

The word Ramadan comes from the Arabic root ramiḍa or AR-ramaḍ, which means heat and dryness. Fasting is obligatory for adult Muslims, with the exception of those who suffer from illness, are on a journey, the elderly, pregnant, lactating, diabetics, chronically ill. Fasting in the month of Ramadan was made obligatory in the month of Sha'ban, the second year after Muslims migrated from Mecca to Medina. The fatwas stated that Muslims who live in the regions with the midnight sun and polar night should follow the timetable of Mecca.

During fasting from dawn to dusk, Muslims abstain from eating, drinking, smoking, and not engaging in sexual relations. Muslims are also commanded to refrain from sinful behavior that can negate the reward of fasting, such as lying, insulting, slandering, cursing and war, except in self-defense. Food and drinks are served daily, before dawn and after sunset, called Suhoor and Iftar. Fasting for Muslims during Ramadan typically includes increasing salah (prayers), reciting the Qur'an, doing good deeds, and doing charity work.

history of the holiday

The month of Ramadan in which the Qur'an was sent down; a guide for the people, and clear evidence from the guide to distinguish between good and evil. Allah wishes you relief; he does not want difficulties for you, and in order for you to complete everything planned, you should exalt Allah for instructing you, for which you could be grateful.

It is believed that the Qur'an was first revealed to Muhammad during the month of Ramadan, which was referred to as "better times". The first revelation was sent down on Laylat al-Qadr (night of power), which is one of the five odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan. According to the hadith, all the holy scriptures were sent down during Ramadan.

According to the Qur'an, fasting was also obligatory in order to acquire piety, the fear of God. God proclaimed to Muhammad that fasting for him was not a new innovation in monotheism, but an obligation of those who are truly initiated into oneness with God. The decision to fast in the month of Ramadan was sent down 18 months after the Hijra, in the month of Sha'ban, in the second year of the Hijri in 624 AD.

An Arab writer from Iraq who lived after the founding of Islam, in 747, wrote that at least one Mandean village located in Al Jazeera (modern Northern Iraq) celebrates Ramadan before the adoption of Islam. According to historian Philip Jenkins, Ramadan comes "from the strict fasting discipline of the Syrian churches" and the postulation has been corroborated by other scholars such as theologian Paul-Gordon Chandler.

What are the traditions of Ramadan

It is a common practice during Ramadan to fast from dawn to dusk. Muslims spend more time in prayer and charity during Ramadan. Ramadan is also the month when Muslims try to practice increased self-discipline. This is motivated by the fact that “when Ramadan comes, the gates of Paradise are opened and the gates of hell are closed and the devil is in chains.

How to congratulate each other on this day

Ramadan is a time of spiritual reflection, improvement and increased devotion and worship. Muslims should put more effort into following the teachings of Islam. Fasting (saum) begins at dawn and ends at sunset. Besides the fact that they must abstain from food and drink, Muslims also increase their restraint, such as abstaining from sexual relations and generally sinful speech and behavior.

The act of fasting is necessary to redirect the heart from worldly activities, its purpose is to purify the soul by freeing it from harmful impurities. Ramadan teaches Muslims how to better practice self-discipline, self-control, sacrifice, and empathy for those less fortunate; thus, encourages action by generosity.

Ramadan is obligatory for Muslims to start fasting when they reach puberty while they are healthy and sane and free of any defects or diseases. Many children strive to do as many fasts as possible as a practice for later life.

Today is the first day of the holy month of Ramadan for all Muslims of the world. For whom uraza is a farz (duty), what can and cannot be done during fasting, the essence of iftar, the size of fitr and nisab - Rustam hazrat Khairullin, imam-hatib of the Gail mosque in Kazan, told about this and many other things to the Tatar-inform agency.

- Rustam hazrat, how to prepare for fasting?

- Bismillahirrahmanir-rahim! By the grace of God, the month of Ramadan has begun. May Allah give everyone the opportunity to keep this post in good health. I am often asked the question: “How to make the intention to keep the mind?” Our Prophet taught us in the Hadith that every action begins with an intention. If, before the beginning of Uraza, we doubt our abilities and think “whether I can or not”, this person will not be able to fast or it will be very difficult for him. Therefore, the power of intention is very important.

They also ask me: “Is it possible to make an intention before going to bed or do it in the morning?” It is not a mistake to sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, decide before going to bed: “Tomorrow I will keep an eye on it.” According to religion, the inner intention of a person is quite enough. But if we pronounce the intention aloud and say: “Yarabbam, I will fast for the sake of Your pleasure,” our intention will be stronger. That is, after suhoor - the morning meal, we say:

“Nawaitu an-asuuma sauma shahri ramadaan minal-fajri ilal-maghribi haalisan lillayahi tya'aala” (“I intended to fast the month of Ramadan from dawn to dusk sincerely for the sake of Allah”). This will be our intention - Niyat.

After sunset, during the Ahsham prayer, we say:

“Allahumma lakaya sumtu, wa bikya aamantu, wa ‘alaykya tavakkaltu, wa ‘ala rizkyya aftartu, fagfirlii ya gaffaaru maa kaddamtu wa maa akhhartu.” (“O Allah, for Your sake I fasted, I believed in You, I relied on You, I broke my fast with Your food. O Forgiver, forgive me the sins that I have committed or will commit”). Saying these words, we break the fast.

- For whom observance of the uraza is obligatory and who is exempt from fasting?

- If a person has reached the age of puberty, he is obliged to fast. “I’m working, I don’t have time” - there can be no such excuses. If you have reached the age of puberty, uraza is considered farz. What does farz mean? The fact that if you do not perform this or that action, then it will be a sin.

The Prophet says: “Who can not fast? If a person is on the road for 4-5 days, he is allowed to postpone the fast during this period of time. But if he observes, it is better for him. Because now there are no barriers: there are air conditioners in cars and hotels, comfortable conditions are everywhere. If the fast is postponed, they are obliged to compensate for these days after the holiday of the end of the fast. But it is always easier and more pleasant to fast with the whole country, with the whole world.

- Pregnant women or breastfeeding mothers can be exempted from uraza?

- A young mother who has just given birth or is breastfeeding, if she has less milk and the child suffers from this, may postpone the fast. It is also allowed not to hold the uraza for pregnant women. But uraza will remain her duty. And after the birth of a child, after weaning two years later, she is obliged to fast these remaining days. Scientists believe that if a mother gives birth to children one after another, what should she do? She can't fast for six months. In this case, a young mother can give fidia in one day of fasting, that is, feed one needy. This year, the amount of fidia, that is, the amount allocated for the lunch of one needy, is 200 rubles.

– In our society, there is such an opinion: “Why should I force myself and fast, if I can feed one needy every day?”

- If a person is not on the road, is not sick, is not expecting a child or is not breastfeeding, then it is a sin for him not to fast. The disease can be of two types. If a person has a cold or flu and is unable to fast, he must make up for these days after recovery. And if a person has such serious illnesses as diabetes mellitus or a stomach ulcer, or he cannot keep a fast due to old age, they are allowed not to fast, but to feed the needy. Those who fast can also feed the poor, this is a good deed, but it does not compensate for the loss.

- You said that the travelers could postpone the uraza. At what distance from home is a person considered a traveller?

There is an explanation for this that has existed since the time of our Prophet. They traveled on camels, and this movement was considered a three-day trip. Now scientists believe that at a distance of 80-100 kilometers from home, a person is considered a traveler. Suppose, from Kazan to Arsk 100 km. If we go to Arsk, it is considered that we are on a trip. And on the High Mountain we are no longer considered on a trip and this cannot be a reason not to keep an eye on it. A trip to a neighboring village is not a trip, and for this reason it is wrong not to fast. You don't have to be afraid to fast. Uraza is the most precious time of the year. During Ramadan, Shaitan goes on "holiday". Savab from uraza accepts all our mistakes and sins. Even doctors understand the benefits of uraza, because abstinence from food cleanses the body. It is impossible not to fast, saying: "I am working." Our grandparents observed uraza in the summer heat by working in the field. And now we are sitting in air-conditioned offices and looking for thousands of reasons not to fast.

What deeds break or do not break the fast?

– In Islam there are no such concepts as “in my opinion” or “in your opinion”, we are following the path indicated by our Prophet. There are many opinions: they say “one mullah told me so” or “one sister said that it is possible”. The question that worries the most is: is it possible to rinse your mouth during uraza? The prophet says that it is possible, but the water should not go inside. That is, you can not swallow water at this time. Secondly, many people ask, is it possible to wash in the bath, take a shower? The Prophet poured water on himself during the uraza. You can take a shower to refresh your strength. Water relaxes the body, gives rest. But you can’t sit in the bath for a long time and sweat. Our ancestors, in order to refresh themselves and not to become exhausted, descended into the glacier cellars.

Very often we hear the following question from housewives: is it possible to taste when cooking food, whether there is enough salt or not? This act is makrooh, that is, trying is not forbidden, but it is also undesirable. If there is no way out of this situation, in this case you can try. But during the uraza, it is desirable, of course, to refrain from such actions.

Young people are interested: “Hazrat, we recently got married, is it possible to hold hands during the uraza?” There is nothing wrong with this. During fasting, intimacy and kissing on the lips are not allowed.

- Is it allowed to receive injections and donate blood for analysis during the uraza?

- During the uraza, burdening yourself with deeds that cause you heaviness is a sin. For example, to donate blood as a donor. Donating blood in a certain amount, we lose strength. The Prophet said: “It is not allowed to do unusual deeds that harm you and take away your strength, observing the mind.” But donating blood for tests is not harmful. In this case, very little blood is taken, it will not take much strength. If you have to take tests during the uraza, you cannot cancel the fast for this reason alone. During fasting, vitamins and injections that give strength are not allowed. And if the pain began suddenly and there is no way to take a pill, it is allowed to give an anesthetic injection.

Do drops for the eyes and nose break the fast?

“Everything that passes through the throat breaks. Nasal and ear drops will break the fast if they pass through the throat. I myself have experienced this, indeed they pass through the throat. If eye drops do not go down the throat, then their use is not a sin.

– In recent years, more and more young people are coming to Islam, there are also more fasting people. Has it become a fashion? Is it possible to post photos of suhoor or iftar on social networks or can one lose sawab because of them?

– It all depends on the intention – Niyat. If someone fasts for the sake of boasting and showing off, then his deeds will not be counted. Glory to the Almighty, young people are drawn to religion. If they show by example, with the intention: “Let others come to religion after seeing from me, let my friends also start fasting,” then this will not be a reason to lose the sawab.

- Some doubt: “I would fast, but I don’t read namaz” ...

- The Almighty showed us five farzes. This is to be in Iman, that is, a believer, observe uraza, read prayers, give zakat and perform Hajj. If we do one thing and do not do the other, then for the first we get savab, for the second - a sin. But you should not be afraid to fast if you do not read namaz. Set a goal and during the Uraza, gradually begin to learn the rules of prayer. There are such examples, thank God. Someone starts going to Friday prayers, and after a while does not miss any of the five daily prayers.

- Some observe three days of fasting at the beginning and three days at the end of Ramadan.

- A person makes an intention to fast in the first three days of the Uraza and fulfills it. Because he made an intention, prepared himself, and Allah helps him. The most difficult days are the first three days of Ramadan. Allah Ta'ala gave us such an opportunity that in three days our body adapts to the situation. No water, food only after sunset. In three days, the human body is accustomed. And as soon as the body is accustomed, how a person stops fasting. Therefore, when making an intention, one must prepare to fast completely. Let there be 10 days at the beginning, middle and end of the month. The first ten days of Ramadan are the mercy of the Almighty, the second ten are cleansing from sins, and the last ten days are liberation from the fire of jahannam.

Is it right to fast without suhoor? Is it necessary to get up for suhoor if you eat in the evening and make an intention before going to bed?

- If on the first day of Ramadan Suhoor is at 1.30, then iftar is only at 19.50. The distance is long. “I need to go to work, sleep and eat in the evening,” - it’s right to think so from the material side. Sometimes a person gorges himself with one bowl of soup, sometimes he does not gorge himself even with two or three servings. What does it mean? Barakat! The same barakat is also in suhoor. If you stand for suhoor, take a sip of water and express your intention, there will be more barakat and more sawab. The Prophet warned: "Don't oversleep Suhoor."

Can non-fasters take part in iftar?

- The Prophet says: “Whoever feeds a fasting person in Uraza will have the same savab.” For example, we invited 30 people to iftar, if 20 of them hold the uraza, the sawab will be for 20 people. Even if the rest did not fast, we will be grateful that we fed them. It is not considered a sin if people who do not observe the fast come to such Majlis. Let them come and make dua. It is a sin not to come without a reason to where you are called. Maybe the Majlis will serve as a reason for those who are not fasting to start holding a fast. Organizing iftar is a good thing.

– There are people who arrange birthday parties in the month of Ramadan. Is it possible to sit fasting at such tables bursting with food?

- During Uraza, you can hold Majlis nikah or weddings, birthdays, commemorations - but only strictly after iftar. It would be wrong to invite guests during the day. In this case, it will become a sin for the organizers, and if the fasting person refrains from attending such a celebration, this is not considered a sin for him. One must stay away from such sin.

- Let's talk about the size of fitr and nisab, which caused a lot of controversy among the people. Questions come from our readers: “Where does this order come from?”, “Who and how determines the size of sadaqah?”

– Our Prophet, of course, did not say to give fitr in rubles. But even in those days there was a certain amount of sadaqah. For us to understand: this is approximately the size of a three-liter jar. If we fill the jar with dates, this is our fitr-sadaqah. So we have to give it. Collecting it is an additional burden for mosques. That is why they bring us sadaka in money, we must collect it and, without using a penny for the needs of mosques, distribute it to the poor and needy. If there are orphans in your environment who are in need, give these dates in a three-liter jar to them. Let them eat and celebrate. You can give not only dates, but also cereals. If you bring sadaqah fitr to the mosque, you will have a savab. Think: “What will the hazrats do with them, where will they spend them?” - reduces savab. Even the thought of it. Gave - forget it. When the right hand gives sadaqah, the left hand should not know about it.

The Prophet did not determine the amount of zakat either in rubles or in dollars. He defined it as gold. If we consider the currency of the Central Bank, this is 200 thousand rubles. If we have such an amount under our pillow or in a bank account, we must take 2.5 percent of it and share it with the poor and orphans. This is their part, Allah gave them to them through us. Many people ask me the question: “Hazrat, does Allah not see the starving children in Africa?” He sees and gives their part through you. It is wrong to think: "I have a red diploma, I earned this money myself." If Allah had not given us the mind, eyes, ears, there would be no diploma, no money. Everything is from the Almighty. Therefore, it is necessary to give both fitr and zakat. The Prophet says: “If at another time ten good deeds are written for one good deed, then during the uraza - up to seven hundred.”

- Whom do you mean when you say "poor"?

- A beggar is one who has nothing to live on, no food. If a person has food for three days, he is considered poor.

- Is it possible to give fitr-sadaqah to children or grandchildren?

“When giving sadaqa, a person first of all gives to his mother. That is the custom. Sadaka is given to the poor. Giving sadaqa to a mother, classifying her among the poor, is a sin. Because parents, grandparents, children and grandchildren are in your care. If you are rich, give your mother a gift, not sadaqah.

“Some families are starting to involve the kids in holding the uraza even before the kids can figure out what it is. This is right?

– There is no coercion in Islam, and you need to explain the meaning to a person with beautiful words and deeds. It is useless to force children to raise their hands, to force them to fast or pray. It is necessary to cultivate love in the heart of a child. I am the father of four children. What is the uraza of younger children? During the day they can not eat sweets, ice cream, chocolate. But in suhoor and iftar they can eat whatever they want. If, by forcing, I instill hatred for the Uraza in children, this will be my sin. Children need to be lured to uraza, namaz, to religion.

- With the beginning of the month of Ramadan, even in the hot season, the days become cooler, it rains, there is lightness for those who are fasting. Does the Qur'an say anything about this?

Allah says: “There is no compulsion in religion.” In this we see the mercy of the Almighty, he gives us lightness. Indeed, the days of Ramadan are cooler and it is easier for Muslims to fast.

- Rustam hazrat, last year many people had a hard time, so some hazrats spoke about fasting according to the time of Mecca. How do you like it?

- The more time we spend in uraz, we will also get a savab for it. If a person is sick or has no strength, he can postpone fasting until he feels better. Fasting according to Meccan time, that is, eating suhoor or eating iftar during the day, will be wrong. Because in the Quran, Allah has indicated to us the time of suhoor and iftar. It would be wrong to go against what has been said. Our area has its own specific time for both suhoor and iftar.

Ramadan (Ramazan, Uraza) is a holy month for the followers of Islam. Every year for 29-30 days, faithful Muslims live by special rules, and then hold a magnificent celebration.

Legend of the Prophet

Muhammad, who became the Prophet of Muslims, was brought up by his grandfather, his father died before the birth of his son, his mother when the boy was about 6 years old. At that time (6th century AD), the Arabs worshiped pagan deities, but there were also those who believed in the One God. One of them was Muhammad's grandfather, a very pious and pious man.

Grains of grandfather's instructions fell into fertile soil, and soon the rumor about the exceptional honesty, justice and sanity of Muhammad spread throughout the district. Among the Arabs, he was known under the name al-Amin, which means "trustworthy."

The future Prophet often retired to the mountains surrounding Mecca, and indulged in prayers and meditations. Muhammad's favorite place was a cave in Mount Hira. One night in this cave, the angel Gabriel appeared before him (Christians call him Gabriel), and words were written in the air. The angel commanded the future Prophet to speak out loud. Being illiterate, Muhammad could not say anything, but suddenly the meaning of the words penetrated his heart. Gabriel's next command was to memorize the words and pass them on to other people. Thus, the first saying from the holy book, the Koran, was revealed to Muhammad. A great event took place on the 27th night of the month of Ramadan.

Since then, Muhammad began to receive more and more new messages that he had to retell to other people. He did not strive for public sermons, but conducted face-to-face conversations with interested parties. Gabriel opened a new way for Muhammad to pray, which the Prophet immediately followed. His actions caused ridicule from the people.

In another revelation, Muhammad was ordered to preach publicly, but in fulfilling the mission assigned to him, Muhammad was ridiculed by people. At the same time, the ruling circles saw in the speech of the Prophet a threat to idolatry. The period of persecution of Muhammad and his followers began.

City of the Prophet

Muhammad was destined to experience another great event. At night, he was transported on a fabulous beast to Jerusalem. Above Mount Zion, the heavens opened, and before the eyes of Muhammad appeared the path to the throne of the Lord. He was not admitted to the Holy of Holies, but he received a full revelation about the basis of life with faith in Allah. Here he met with other prophets: Jesus, Moses and Abraham. This night was called Laylat al-Mi'raj (Ascension Night) and strengthened Muhammad in the truth of his faith and in the opinion that Allah is always there.

Despite the mistrust of the inhabitants of Mecca, many people became followers of faith in Allah far beyond its borders. The elders of Yathrib convinced Muhammad to move to their city, promising him the position of leader and judge. The population of the city consisted of Arabs and Jews, between whom conflicts often occurred. Before his migration, the Prophet advised all the Muslims of Mecca to leave for Yathrib. Arriving in the city, Muhammad was embarrassed by the lavish hospitality and the request to choose a house for himself. He decided to build his dwelling in the place that his camel would choose. Mohammed's camel stopped near a date tree, a house was built here, and the city received a new name - Medina (City of the Prophet).

Muhammad instilled freedom of religion, tolerance for the beliefs of others, coexistence in peace and indispensable unity in the event of an enemy attack on the city. He also introduced "justice for all", the law stopped paying attention to skin color, religion and social status.

Just 4 years before his death, Muhammad managed to fulfill his dream - to return to Mecca. He walked around the Kaaba seven times - a temple in the center of the city, then went inside and broke the idols. When the Prophet was already mortally ill, he made his last pilgrimage to the Kaaba. Then he received instructions on the rules of the pilgrimage (hajj), which are strictly followed by Muslims to this day.
After the departure of the Prophet to another world, his followers for a long time could not believe that Muhammad was a mere mortal.

How is Ramadan celebrated?

The Islamic New Year (Hijri) falls on different dates because the calendar itself is based on the lunar cycle. The ninth month of the Hijri - Ramadan - is the most significant holiday for the followers of Allah. For 29-30 days, Muslims are forbidden to eat and drink, smoke, take medicines in the form of candles and suppositories, and indulge in love pleasures (including kisses) from the first to the last ray of the sun. This whole month should be devoted to reading the Koran, prayers, reflections on life, helping the poor. The significance of any good deed done this month will be multiplied by Allah by 700. On the 27th night of Ramadan, the same one when Gabriel first appeared to Muhammad, devout Muslims pray to Allah for the forgiveness of sins. Restaurants during Ramadan are closed during the day except for those that cater to tourists.

With the advent of the next, tenth, month of the Hijra, Muslims dress in the most beautiful outfits and arrange a feast - Ramadan Bayram (Uraza Bayram). It is necessary to treat not only friends and relatives, but also neighbors, no matter what faith they profess. It is also obligatory to distribute alms.

Rules and exceptions

Fasting is required for all faithful Muslims who have reached the age of 12 years. Before the beginning of each day of fasting, it is mandatory to pronounce an intention - a promise to Allah to spend the day in prayers and good deeds.

The elderly or chronically ill who cannot endure such a number of days of fasting are exempted from observing it, but in return for each missed day of fasting they are obliged to feed the poor for the amount that they spend on their own food.
For those who cannot follow the imposed restrictions for a temporary reason: pregnancy, breastfeeding, illness, a long trip - the beginning of the fast is postponed until the reason is exhausted.
If a Muslim breaks the fast without a good reason, he adds three days to the total fast for each missed day of fasting. In addition, he is charged with the duty to feed 64 people and give freedom to three forced laborers.

If the circumstance that forced you to deviate from the rules was significant, the fast is simply extended by the number of days that was missed.
Children under 12 years of age and incompetent citizens are completely exempted from the honorary duty.

People who are far from understanding Islam may get the impression that Ramadan is a time of severe restrictions, and not a holiday at all. However, Muslims await the ninth month with trepidation and try to follow all the instructions of Allah. For them, Ramadan is a time of strengthening faith and purification of the soul, rethinking their actions and life values, a period of self-improvement. Fasting cleanses not only the body from harmful substances that have entered it with food over the past year, but also the soul from laziness and carelessness. Also, the refusal of food helps the well-fed to better understand the hungry, which awakens kindness and compassion for the poor. Ramadan Kareem! Eid Mubarak!

Every nation has its own traditions and customs. For Muslims, the celebration of Ramadan originates in ancient times, and every inhabitant of Muslim countries treats this rite with responsibility and honor. Of course, before congratulating on Ramadan, it is necessary to study the features and traditions of this celebration.

Features and history of the holiday

Ramadan is similar to Christian Easter. During this holiday, people fast, during which the strictest diet is observed, which cleanses the body and soul. The history has been going on since ancient times, according to Muslims, the holiday was founded back in 624 by the prophet Muhammad himself.

Since then, believers have been celebrating this day every year, greeting each other with congratulations on Ramadan. People turn not only to acquaintances, friends and relatives. On this day, it is customary to turn even to strangers, saying the words: “Blessed holiday!”

This holiday among Muslims is marked in the calendar in red. Therefore, almost no one works on this day in order to fully perform the ceremony dedicated to the onset of the great holiday of Ramadan.

What do Muslims do on this day?

Before congratulating friends, relatives and strangers on Ramadan, people attend a special religious event where a special text revered by all Muslims is read. Then all believers go to the mosque, where the service takes place. At the service, a festive prayer is read, which is said once a year - at the time of the onset of the holiday.

Charity is also very important. Those who have great opportunities can make contributions to organizations that help low-income people. Middle-income Muslims simply give alms to the poor sitting near mosques.

On the evening before the onset of the great fast of Ramadan, people generously set tables, visit relatives, relatives and friends, go to visit neighbors, having fun and joyfully spending time.

What is the holiday

From the very morning on the day of the onset of Ramadan, all Muslims who honor their religion and adhere to the customs of their people begin fasting. It lasts three months. During this period, people fast, restrain themselves in food, entertainment and entertainment, and try to get rid of bad habits.

The original essence of the holiday is to cleanse the body and soul. And also to leave in the past all bad habits and manners of malnutrition.

For the Muslim people, Ramadan is a very significant holiday. Therefore, congratulations on the occasion of the great day will be pleasant to those who honor traditions and adhere to the customs of their faith. Therefore, it is worth keeping in mind such poetic speeches in order to congratulate those for whom this blessed holiday is of great importance at the right time.

The middle of the blessed month of Ramadan is marked by the sacred birth. On one of the blessed days of the 3rd year of the lunar Hijra, the house of Ali (peace be upon him!) and Fatem (peace be upon her!) lit up with the birth of their first child. With the blessing of God and the Great Prophet of Islam (may Allah bless him and his family!) He was named Hasan.

Hassan (peace be upon him!) lived for seven years in the shadow of the kindness of the Great Prophet of Islam (may Allah bless him and his family!).

But even such a short period was enough for him, moment by moment, to fill his soul with the bright colors of the existence of his grandfather, the Great Prophet of Islam (may Allah bless him and his family!) and learn everything necessary to achieve heights and happiness from the greatest teacher himself.

Congratulations to all on the anniversary of the birth of Hassan ibn Ali (peace be upon him!), the holy grandson of the Great Prophet of Islam (may Allah bless him and his family!).

Historians note that Imam Hasan (peace be upon him!) outwardly more than others resembled the great Prophet (may Allah bless him and his family!). The Prophet also treated him with special kindness and favor. The love and affection of Imam Hasan (peace be upon him!) for the Vicar of God (may Allah bless him and his family!) Was so strong that he spent every day in the mosque in Medina, listening to the meaningful and instructive speeches of the prophet. Despite the fact that he was still a child, he not only correctly understood the words of the Prophet, often accompanied by verses, but also retold them at home to his mother Fatema (peace be upon her!) in beautiful, understandable words.

Imam Khaan (peace be upon him!) had an oratory talent from childhood. His contemporary Amid ibn Eshak spoke of his oratory in the following way:

"When Hasan ibn Ali (peace be upon him!) spoke, I dreamed that his speech would not end. His words delighted me endlessly, and I never heard a harsh word from him."

Even as a child, he had deep religious knowledge. That is why the Prophet (may Allah bless him and his family!) and Ali (peace be upon him!), knowing about his scholarship, sometimes trusted him to answer the religious questions of people. He answered them with dignity and foresight.

Much in the nature and character of Hasan ibn Ali (peace be upon him!) pointed to his greatness. Anyone who saw him became his admirer, and his soul was imbued with goodness towards him. Jalaletdin Sivati once wrote: "Hasan ibn Ali (peace be upon him!) possessed many positive character traits and human qualities. He was a worthy person, patient and generous, and the people praised him." Imam Hasan (peace be upon him!) tried to help the poor and the needy. The Imam directed all his strength and capabilities to good deeds and generosity so much that he became known as the most generous of the blessed family of the Prophet. Historians in the biographies of the Imam praised his unprecedented generosity, and wrote: “During his life, Imam Hasan (peace be upon him!), Walking the path of God, twice distributed all his property. The Imam was a hope and a refuge for the poor and the needy.

Once a beggar came to Imam Hassan (peace be upon him!). However, out of shame, he could not utter his request. The Imam told him to state his request in writing. The man did just that. After reading the letter, the Imam gave the beggar twice as much as he asked for. One of those present exclaimed: "O son of the Prophet, how profitable this letter turned out to be for him." In response, the Imam said:

"For us, it was more profitable, because the perfect deed ranked us among the good people."

Modesty coupled with respect is the social way of God's people. Imam Hasan (peace be upon him!) also possessed this outstanding character trait. One day he passed by beggars who were modestly spreading their poor tablecloth and eating empty bread. Seeing the Imam, they said: "O son of the Prophet of God, join our meal." The Imam accepted their invitation with great joy and desire. He quickly dismounted and sat down next to them with the words "The Lord does not love the proud," began to eat bread. After eating a few bites, he thanked the people and invited them to his home. After they came to the Imam's house, he gave them a warm welcome and gave each of them beautiful new clothes.

Prayer is the outpouring of one's need combined with the worship of God. When a person bows in prayer to his Lord, then in fact he confesses his need and poverty to him and asks him for prosperity. If sincere prayer is accompanied by labor and diligence, then this will be evidence of a person’s honesty in worshiping God. It was said about Imam Hasan (peace be upon him!) that he made multiple trips on foot to Mecca.

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him!) said: "Imam Hasan (peace be upon him!) Was the most pious person of his time. His eyes filled with tears when he remembered death, and when he stopped to perform prayer, his body trembled. His actions and behavior were such that they turned their thoughts to God anyone who has seen him."

Once, Imam Hassan, in his recommendation to the people, said: "O people! Stay away from not observing the laws of God and committing unlawful deeds. Before you encounter difficulties and fall into the arms of death, turn your face to good deeds. Everything in the world is transient and no one is safe from danger. O people! Pay attention advice and draw life lessons from history.Let worldly goods not occupy you and do not distract you from thoughts about the next world.

The great prophet of Islam (may Allah bless him and his family!) said about Imam Hassan (peace be upon him!):

"Know that he is a gift of God to me. He will teach you and introduce people to my teachings. He will breathe life into my life's work. Because his behavior is similar to my behavior. God has his eyes on him. The Almighty will bless everyone who accepts him and out of respect for me does him good.

History testifies that Imam Hasan (peace be upon him!) lived his whole life as the Prophet said. The imam, due to the problems that arose in different parts of the Islamic ummah, and in order to preserve the Islamic world, accepted the offer of a truce with Moavieh. Thus, Imam Hasan (peace be upon him!) is pleased with the great goal and, in order to prevent war and bloodshed, renounced power (caliphate). Under the circumstances, his goal was to wisely and far-sightedly free the Islamic world from the dangers and make plans for the future.

It should be noted that during that period, the problems grew so much that the border between justice and injustice could not be determined not only by ordinary people, but also by many intellectuals of that time. That is why Imam Hasan (peace be upon him!) chose the only right way to determine the border between justice and injustice and save people from uncertainty.

Imam Hassan (peace be upon him!) stopped the avalanche of distortions and extensive attacks that were carried out under the name of religion on the true culture of Islam, and began to spread thoughts about true Islam.

In general, we can say that from the moment of accepting the world and until the end of his days, Imam Hasan (peace be upon him!) chose the method of explanation and, embarking on the path of awakening those who did not understand the truth of Islam or departed from its true principles, took effective actions. He brought up outstanding students in science, religion and thought, each of whom had a deep understanding of the knowledge and sciences of Islam. Thus, in those dangerous times, thanks to the reason and logic of Imam Hasan, Islam spread as the last divine religion.

Once again congratulating Imam Hassan (peace be upon him!) on the next anniversary of the birth, we listen to his selected statements.

Imam said:

"Difficulties and difficulties are the key to the mercy of God."

As his words say:

"Think, for thinking quickens the soul and is the key to the mercy of God."

The Imam called on people to do good for others and said:

"A decent and kind attitude towards people is a sign of intelligence."
