The fame of Brainstorm begins with the success at Eurovision 2000: Latvia took part in the song contest for the first time and immediately won 3rd place thanks to five guys singing in the genre of alternative indie music. Today, the team members can say that their cherished creative dreams have come true: the first lines of the charts, "golden" albums, stadiums full of spectators, world tours. But there are still many goals and new horizons ahead.

The young group headed for high-quality European rock, inspired by the grunge style. The debut album "Vairāk nekā skaļi" was released in 1993. He did not bring great success, in fact, only one song became popular - "Ziema" ("Winter"). At this time, creativity was only a hobby of musicians: everyone had a job that allowed them to survive. Renars worked on the radio, Janis and Maris - in the judiciary, Kaspars worked as an operator. But they devoted their free time to a dream - they wrote songs, rehearsed, without losing faith in themselves.

The guys released their second album "Veronica" in 1996. These included the hits "Dārznieks" ("Gardener"), "Apelsīns" ("Orange") and, of course, "Airplanes".

After Eurovision, the guys from Brainstorm became stars. The performance of talented Latvians was noted by The Times, Melody Maker and Smash Hits. The guys had to change their names to those that are more familiar to foreign audiences: Renars became Reynard, Maris - Mike, Janis - Johnny, Kaspars - Nick, and Gundars - Peter.

The guys from Latvia began to conquer the Russian audience in 2009, releasing a new disc "Step", which included 6 songs in Russian.

When students Vyacheslav Butusov and Dmitry Umetsky met in 1982, Nautilus Pompilius was born. Deciding to play together, the guys released their debut album in 1983 called "Trains". The composition of the Sverdlovsk band was constantly changing, among the last members, in addition to the frontman - I. Kormiltsev (lyricist, died in 2007), drummer A. Potapkin, bassist G. Kopylov, guitarist N. Petrov and keyboardist A. Mogilevsky.

The team itself repeatedly broke up and reunited again. One thing remained unchanged: an invaluable contribution to the culture of Russian rock. Their discography includes twelve LPs, six live albums, four collections, three dedication albums, five collaborations with other musicians. Their songs were heard in both parts of the legendary "Brother", the film "Dandies", "Mirror for the Hero" and others.

They, like many, tried to imitate The Beatles, but eventually grew into an independent original group. The first line-up included Andrei Makarevich, who became the frontman, Mikhail Yashin, as well as girls - Nina and Larisa. The band members were fluent in a foreign language, so they performed in schools and youth clubs.

Soon something changed - in addition to the vocalist, Y. Borzov, I. Mazaev, P. Rubin, A. Ivanov and S. Kavagoe played in VIA, and the name sounded in English, Time Machines. Thanks to such rare electric guitars and a mini-amplifier, a sound was born that almost no one else in the USSR had.

The official year of their birth is 1978, but the band members themselves sometimes count from 1981 - it was then that Edmund Shklyarsky joined the line-up. Or 1982, when the debut album was recorded. In general, during that period, Picnic appeared, which the audience loved so much.

Their texts and music attract romantic music lovers: it's all about poetry, saturated with ironic philosophy and magical motifs. Or maybe keyboards, symphonic and exotic instruments, unique style and live performances, each of which is a show that is not forgotten for a long time.

Now in the group, in addition to the permanent frontman (and part-time guitarist and songwriter), his son - keyboardist and backing vocalist Stanislav, drummer Leonid Karnos and bassist Marat Korchemny. Their discography includes more than two dozen releases, tributes, several compilations and collaborations. The Concord Orchestra is the world's first dancing symphony orchestra. Professional musicians, students of well-known conservatories, famous music academies in Russia and Europe, have created a unique project, combining music and dance into a single space.

The orchestra performs under the direction of the Italian conductor Fabio Pirola, a representative of one of the most famous musical dynasties in Milan. Fabio brilliantly graduated from the Gaetano Donizetti State Conservatory in Bergamo (Italy), the Claudio Abbado International Academy of Music in Milan (Italy) and Juilliard in New York (USA).

The concerts of the symphony orchestra "Concord Orchestra" are filled with passionate Italian temperament and emotionality.
