A Tale of Music - The Magic Pipe.

In one far, far away country there lived a poor guy-musician. His name was Danko. He had no friends or girlfriends. He lived all alone in his small house, and he had only one pipe, which was the queen of his soul.

The melodies played by the musician filled everything around. And then one day the guy took his pipe and went into the meadows. When he started playing, the birds fell silent, everything around fell silent. The forester accidentally heard the voice of the violin. He listened so much and decided to come closer, and the guy continued to play. The violin produced magical melodies, but sad ones. The forester became interested and decided to ask why he was playing so sadly. The forester came up and said:

Why do you play so sad and sad?

I have no friends. “I live all alone,” the musician answered.

The forester felt sorry for Danko, and he said:

My name is Jean, let me be your friend.

So Danko found a friend. Soon Danko and Jean went to the city to look for work, and the musician, of course, took his favorite pipe with him. There were a lot of people in the year. Everyone was fussing and minding their own business. And suddenly they saw an advertisement that a musician was needed for a noble house. Danko was very happy, a smile appeared on his face, and he and Jean immediately headed to that house. When they knocked, a woman came out and said that what was needed here was not just a musician, but someone who could play the pipe.

“This is luck,” Danko exclaimed,

I'm exactly the one you need!

The woman invited her friends to come into the house. Her name was Margaret. She said that a little girl Elena lives here, who is constantly capricious and cannot fall asleep peacefully, only calms down when she hears magical sounds pipes. In addition, today is her birthday and many guests will gather in the house in the evening and therefore she needs a musician.

How long have you been playing? - She asked Danko.

For as long as I can remember. - He answered.

Then today will be your debut.

And then evening came, many guests gathered in the house for a home holiday. Danko took the pipe and began to play; it sang magical, unusual melodies. Everyone was simply fascinated. When Danko finished playing, all the guests clapped their hands, and someone shouted:

Bravo!

Danko's performance made a great impression. Margaret came over, thanked him, and asked him to stay and work as a house musician.

This is how Danko found friends and achieved his goal in life.

They live near us different people- they ride the subway, go to the store, sit in the movies, and it’s difficult to guess right away which one of them is a doctor, which one is a worker, which one is a teacher... Moscow is a huge, noisy, business-like city. Storytellers also live there. They look the same ordinary people, but only, perhaps, they are in a little less of a hurry and, among the stream of people, suddenly stop on a noisy street, distinguishing the thin voice of a titmouse, because listening to what the little bird is talking about is undoubtedly more important than all other things for such a person.

Storytellers themselves love to read fairy tales, both those written by writers and those created different peoples. One such person I know, the author of this record, fell in love with fairy tales from the very beginning. early childhood, during the difficult war years. Back then it was difficult to get a picture book, and there was no one to read it - everyone worked long and hard. But it was possible to listen to fairy tales and stories from old people in the distant Bashkir village where the war had thrown him, and in a village near Moscow, and in Moscow itself.

This boy, who later became the writer Mikhail Sadovsky, not only loved to listen, but also very early - at the age of five - began to compose poetry and fairy tales. A common thing is that almost all children compose, and then with age this passion disappears, but not for everyone. And then new storytellers and poets come into the world.

It is very easy to introduce Mikhail Sadovsky to listeners and readers, because children, and adults too, know his books of poetry and prose, his songs well. The poet worked with many composers: Vano Muradeli, Oleg Khromushin, Kirill Molchanov, Gennady Gladkov, Rostislav Boyko, Alexander Flyarkovsky and many, many others. His works are often broadcast and recorded on records.

And again about fairy tales. “The Forest Inventor” is the name of one of the first fairy tales and plays written by M. Sadovsky. It was heard on the radio and then appeared on the record. Then another animated fairy tale appeared on the air - “When the Morning Begins” with music by composer Ilya Shakhov, and it was also recorded on a record and the listeners fell in love. The tales of Mikhail Sadovsky migrated to theater stages, and appeared on records theater performances « Good year" and "We're in a hurry" - maybe you listened to these records or saw performances in the theater!?

Today you will hear a play - the fairy tale “Mashenka’s Pipe”. At first this play was staged on the stages of many puppet theaters our country. As in most of Mikhail Sadovsky's plays, there are many songs in Mashenka's Pipe. The music for them was written by composer Kirill Volkov. Apparently, the kids liked the fairy tale - it was broadcast more than once at their request. Kindness is the main feature of a writer’s creativity. Do good - main goal his heroes.

So let's wish him success in his work!

once upon a time a boy. He had neither father nor mother, and he, a bitter orphan, wandered around the world. His owners took him on as a shepherd, and every day he had to chase the owner’s pigs and cows for a piece of bread. When the boy had already grown up, he once worked for one owner - herding cows. Autumn that year was unusually cold, no one wanted to go into the yard: it was damp, cold, and it was scary to stick your nose out of the house. But the boy doesn’t even have shoes; he grazed the cows barefoot. The poor fellow is shaking from the cold. He doesn’t know what to do. He cried bitterly. Suddenly, out of nowhere, an old man approaches the orphan and asks:

Why are you crying, boy?

“How can I not cry,” the boy answers, “the owner makes me graze the cattle every day, but doesn’t give me shoes.”

The old man took pity on the orphan, but there was nothing he could do to help: he had rags on his feet. The old man thought, thought and took out a pipe from his bag.

“I can’t give you anything else,” he says, “just this pipe.” Maybe you'll need it someday. As soon as you play it, everyone who hears it will start jumping.

The old man gave the pipe to the orphan and immediately disappeared.

The boy took the pipe, but doesn’t know what to do with it. But he liked the beautiful pipe, and he put it in his pocket. “If the old man says that she might be good for me,” he thinks, “well, let her lie.”

He was grazing cattle, and suddenly it occurred to him: “What if I play the pipe?” He took it and started playing. And as soon as he started playing, all the sheep and cows started jumping. The boy was delighted and put the pipe into his pocket again: he didn’t want to torture the cattle, it was enough that he found out how the pipe could help him.

The boy drove the cows home, and the owner attacked him:

Why don't you graze the cows at all? You won't get dinner for this!

The boy kept silent and went into the hut. And the hostess was in a very bad mood that evening - everything was not according to her! As soon as the owner returned home, she came to him: they say, this is not so, but it’s not like that. The owner gave too much freedom to the hostess, he was afraid to say a word against her. The farm laborers have returned home. The landlady is right there and let’s scold and push the farmhands: they say, they are completely lazy, even if you stand over them with a broom.

The boy decided to play a trick on the hostess: he took out a pipe from his pocket and began to play. And as soon as he started playing, the hostess stopped cursing and began jumping around like a smart polo. The rest all looked at her, looked and also jumped.

The boy sees that his pipe is not a trifle. Now, as soon as the hostess starts swearing in the evening, he takes the pipe out of his pocket and begins to play. Since then, the hostess has not been able to relieve her soul with scolding. And as soon as she sees the boy, she immediately becomes so quiet and meek - you couldn’t find a better housewife.

And at that very time, a war began between the king of the state where the boy lived and another king. Another king gathered a huge army and flew at his neighbor, as if evil spirits. Before we knew it, all the brave warriors and brave generals had already been killed. The king was afraid. He ordered it to be announced everywhere: whoever comes to the king’s aid and defeats the enemy, he will give his youngest daughter as a wife and half the kingdom in addition.

Generals came to him and noble gentlemen, but they could not defeat the enemy, they only laid down their heads in vain. And the enemy is already approaching the castle itself. The king sees that his business is bad.

And just then our little orphan decided that he needed to help the king. He comes to the king and says:

I want to go kill the enemy army.

“What can you do, you little booger,” thought the king, “if the generals and noble gentlemen couldn’t cope?” And at first I didn’t want to let the boy in. But he stands his ground. The king saw that he couldn’t dissuade the boy, so he allowed him: let him go. Even if they kill him, no one will grieve.

The boy went to meet the enemy, stood on a hillock and waited for the enemy army to move closer. The army moved towards him - there was no end in sight. The boy became scared, he almost ran away. He took out his pipe and just started playing when all the soldiers forgot about everything and started jumping around like crazy. The boy played the pipe all day, and the soldiers jumped all day. Towards evening the pipe fell silent, but the enemy soldiers were so tired that they fell to the ground and lost their breath. And whoever survived did not get up for three days.

Everyone around is amazed: wow, the milk on his lips hasn’t dried, but he defeated such an army. And the boy, having defeated the enemy, went to the royal castle and demands the youngest princess as a wife and half the kingdom as a dacha. The younger princess was about to come to him: she had to keep her word, but the older sisters began to mock her and said to the king:

Drive away this sucker! Well, which one is the king?

The king himself did not want to give the boy his youngest daughter as his wife. He gathered all the soldiers that he still had and ordered the boy to be driven away.

But as soon as the soldiers approached him, the boy began to play his pipe. For half a day he played the pipe, and for half a day the king himself jumped with his daughters and all the soldiers.

Stop playing,” the king shouts, “I’ll give you my youngest daughter!” - But the boy knows how to play. And when the pipe fell silent, everyone could barely catch their breath, they were so tired.

The king realized that it was not easy to deal with this boy, and without talking he gave him his youngest daughter as his wife. And he also gave away half the kingdom.

They played a magnificent wedding. They had fun like no other king had ever had before. And the boy and the youngest princess lived in happiness and harmony, and if they did not die, then they still live like that to this day.

Magic pipe

There lived a boy in the world. He had neither father nor mother, and he, a bitter orphan, wandered around the world. He once worked for a greedy housewife, tending cattle. And the weather was cold, the boy froze, sat down and cried. Suddenly, out of nowhere, an old man comes up to him and asks:
- Why are you crying?
“How can I not cry,” the boy answers, “the hostess doesn’t give me warm clothes.”
The old man thought, thought and took out a pipe from his bag.
“Take,” he says, “this pipe.” As soon as you play it, everyone around you will start jumping.
The boy drove the cows home, and the owner attacked him:
- Why did you bring the cows in so early? You won't get dinner for this! The boy decided to play a joke on the hostess: he took out a pipe and began to play. AND
As soon as he started playing, the hostess stopped cursing and began jumping.
The boy sees that the old man did not deceive him.
And at that very time the war began, and the king ordered it to be announced everywhere: whoever defeats the enemy will give his daughter as a wife and half the kingdom in addition.
Not a single general could defeat the enemy. And the enemy is already approaching the capital itself. The king sees that his business is bad.
The boy heard about this and decided to help the king. The boy went to meet the enemy, stood on a hillock and waited for the enemy army to come closer to the city. As they approached, he took out a pipe and just started playing when the soldiers forgot about everything and started jumping. The boy played the pipe all day, and the soldiers jumped all day. By evening the pipe fell silent, and the soldiers were so tired that they fell to the ground. We caught our breath and slowly wandered back home.
And the boy, having defeated the enemy, went to the royal castle and began to demand the princess as his wife and half the kingdom in addition. But the king did not want to give the boy his daughter as his wife. He gathered his warriors, such as he still had, and ordered to drive away the groom.

But as soon as the soldiers approached him, the boy began to play the pipe. He played for half a day, and the warriors jumped with the king for half a day.
“Stop playing,” the king shouts, “I’ll give you my daughter!”
But the boy knows how to play. And when the pipe fell silent, everyone was so tired that they couldn’t catch their breath.
The king realized that it was not easy to deal with this boy, and gave him his daughter as his wife. And he also gave away half the kingdom.
They played a magnificent wedding. And the boy and the princess lived in happiness and harmony.

In one village lived an old man and an old woman, very poor, and they had a son, Ivanushka. From an early age he loved to play the pipe. And he played so well that everyone listened - they couldn’t stop listening. Ivanushka will play a sad song - everyone will be sad, everyone will have tears. When a dance song starts, everyone starts dancing and can’t help themselves.

Ivanushka grew up and said to his father and mother:

“I’ll go, father and mother, to hire myself as a worker.” As much as I earn, I’ll bring it all to you.

I said goodbye and left.

I came to one village and no one was hiring. I went to another one and no workers were needed there.

He walked and walked and came to a distant village. He walks from hut to hut, asking:

- Does anyone need a worker?

A man came out of one of the huts and said:

-Won't you hire yourself to herd sheep?

- I’ll hire you, it’s not a tricky business!

- It’s not cunning, it’s true. Only I have this condition: if you herd well, I’ll pay double your salary. And if you lose even one sheep from my flock, you won’t get anything, I’ll drive you away without money!

- Maybe I won’t lose it! - Ivanushka answers.

- That's it, look!

They agreed, and Ivanushka began to tend the flock.

In the morning the light leaves the yard and returns when the sun sets.

As he leaves the pasture, the owner and mistress are already standing at the gate, counting the sheep:

- One, two, three... ten... twenty... forty... fifty...

All sheep are safe!

So a month passed, and another, and a third. Soon we need to settle accounts with the shepherd and pay him his wages.

"What is this? - the owner thinks. - How does a shepherd save all his sheep? In past years, sheep always disappeared: either the wolf would grab them, or they would wander somewhere and get lost... It’s not without reason. We need to see what the shepherd is doing in the pasture.”

In the morning, when everyone was still sleeping, the owner took a sheepskin coat, turned it inside out, put it on himself and made his way into the barn. He stood on all fours among the sheep. It is worth waiting for the shepherd to drive the flock to pasture.

As the sun rose, Ivanushka got up and drove the sheep. The sheep bleated and ran. And although it’s difficult for the owner, he doesn’t lag behind - he runs along with the sheep, shouting:

- Bang-bang-bang! Bah-bah-bah!

And he thinks:

“Now I’ll find out everything, I’ll find out!”

He thought that Ivanushka would not notice him. And Ivanushka was sharp-eyed, he saw him right away, but he didn’t show it - he was driving the sheep, but he himself, no, no, would whip them with a whip. Yes, everything marks the owner right on the back!

He drove the sheep to the edge of the forest, sat down under a bush and began to chew the edge.

Sheep walk across the clearing, nibbling grass. And Ivanushka is watching them. As soon as he sees that a sheep wants to run into the forest, he will start playing the pipe. All the sheep run to him.

And the owner still walks on all fours, poking his head into the ground, as if nibbling grass.

Tired, tired, but it’s a shame to appear: the shepherd will tell his neighbors - it won’t be a shame!

As the sheep ate their fill, Ivanushka said to them:

“Well, you’re full, you’re happy, now you can dance!”

And he played a dance song on the pipe.

The sheep began to jump and dance and tap their hooves! And the owner went there too: although he was not full and not satisfied, he jumped out from the middle of the herd and let’s dance in a squat. He dances, he dances, he does all sorts of things with his feet, he can’t resist!

Ivanushka plays faster and faster.

And behind him both the sheep and the owner dance faster.

The owner was exhausted. The sweat is dripping off of him. He was all red, his hair was disheveled... He couldn’t stand it, he shouted:

- Oh, farm laborer, stop playing!.. There’s no urine for me!

But Ivanushka doesn’t seem to hear - he plays and plays!

He finally stopped and said:

- Oh, master! Is that you?

- How did you get here?

- Yes, I wandered in by chance...

- Why did you put on the sheepskin coat?

- Yes, it seemed cold this morning...

And he himself was behind the bushes, and so he was.

He trudged home and said to his wife:

“Well, wife, we need to send the farm laborer out as quickly as possible, we need to give him his salary...”

- What is it? We didn’t give it to anyone, but suddenly we’ll give it to him...

- You can’t help but give it away. He will disgrace us so much that we won’t even be able to show ourselves to people.

And he told her how the shepherd made him dance and nearly starved him to death.

The hostess listened and said:

- You're a real fool! You should have danced! He won't force me! When he arrives, I’ll tell him to play. You'll see what happens.

The owner began to ask his wife:

“If you’ve started such a thing, put me in a chest and tie me to a crossbar in the attic, so that I won’t dance with you... That’ll be enough for me!” I danced this morning and I’m barely alive.

The hostess did just that. She put her husband in a large chest and tied him to a crossbar in the attic. And she herself can’t wait for the farmhand to return from the field.

In the evening, as soon as Ivanushka drove the herd, the mistress said to him:

- Is it true that you have such a trumpet that everyone dances to?

- Is it true.

- Come on, play! If I dance, we’ll give you my salary, but if I don’t dance, we’ll send you away.

“Okay,” says Ivanushka, “have it your way.”

He took out his pipe and began to play a dance song. And the hostess was kneading the dough at this time. She couldn’t resist and started dancing. She dances and passes the dough from hand to hand.

And Ivanushka plays faster and faster, louder and louder.

And the hostess dances faster and faster.

The owner in the attic also heard the pipe. He began to move his arms and legs and dance in his chest. It’s cramped for him there, his head keeps banging on the lid. He fumbled and fiddled and fell off the crossbar along with the chest. I hit the lid with my head, jumped out of the chest and started dancing around the attic! He rolled out of the attic and fell into the hut. He and his wife began to dance there, waving their arms and legs!

And Ivanushka went out onto the porch, sat down on the step, and kept playing, never stopping.

The owner and the hostess jumped out into the yard behind him and, well, dance and jump in front of the porch.

Both are tired, they can barely breathe, but they can’t stop.

And looking at them, the chickens danced, and the sheep, and the cows, and the dog at the booth.

Then Ivanushka got up from the porch and walked towards the gate, playing. And everyone followed him.

The hostess sees that things are bad. She began to beg Ivanushka:

- Oh, farmhand, stop, don’t play anymore! Don't leave the yard! Don't embarrass yourself in front of people! We'll settle accounts with you honestly! By agreement, we will give you your salary!

- Well, no! - says Ivanushka. - Let it be on you good people Let them look and laugh!

He went out the gate and started playing even louder. And the owner and mistress with all the cows, sheep and chickens danced even faster. And they spin, and they spin, and they squat, and they jump!

The whole village came running here - both old and young, laughing, pointing fingers...

Ivanushka played until the evening. In the morning he received his salary and went to his father and mother. And the owner and mistress hid in the hut. They sit and don’t dare show themselves to people.
