At this moment you forget about everything, you feel like an astronaut in silent outer space. And then everything happens in a split second, and you are already waiting for the jury’s verdict. I was very grateful to the audience for their support, as well as to all those who helped me with this act.

The performance intertwined the author's elements of dance styles Vogue New Way, High Heels, modern and elements of gymnastics. The ideological inspirer of the musical part of the show was Laysan Utyasheva’s husband, stand-up comedian Pavel Volya. At the very beginning of rehearsals, I began to be tormented by doubts whether I could withstand this pace, whether I could combine filming, family and work on the show. This is probably normal for a person who has not been in the profession for 10 years. Besides, I’m a gymnast, and gymnastics and dancing are not the same thing. The abundance of new information made my head spin: the score when choreographing a dance is completely different than in sports, I had to adapt. There were other nuances as well. Fortunately, like-minded people helped me. Almost from scratch, but with athletic tenacity, I rushed to master new movements and dance styles,” Laysan Utyasheva said about her work.
The troupe includes nine people whom the gymnast has been looking for for 10 years to realize her plans. The production involves choreographers Ekaterina Reshetnikova, Igor Rudnik and the stars of the show “Dancing on TNT”: Vanya Mozhaikin, Anton Panufnik, Ulyana Pylaeva, Max Nesterovich, Oleg Klevakin, Snezhana Kryukova, Nikita Ansimov.
A unique, daring modern image was developed specifically for each hero. The creators of the play decided to avoid stereotypical concert costumes: at some point the viewer feels like they are at a fashion show or in a closed nightclub, where fashionistas and stylish experimenters always gather. Original light graphics transform what is happening on stage into an unforgettable performance.
The premiere of Bolero took place on October 1, 2017 in Kazan. Then the production was shown in Minsk, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, and Cyprus. Voronezh became the sixth city on the dancers’ tour schedule.
