What was the name of the snail from the cartoon spongebob. Troubling Thoughts About SpongeBob: Who Is Mr. Krabs

7 SpongeBob characters - 7 deadly sins

One of the most popular American cartoons is SpongeBob SquarePants. I honestly tried to watch several episodes, but I didn’t find anything there other than impenetrable stupidity. I categorically did not like the cartoon. However, the project has existed since 1999. I recently came across some very interesting material about how the main characters of the cartoon “SpongeBob” personify mortal sins. No more and no less! And now about this in more detail.

The first episode of the cartoon aired on July 17, 1999. The action takes place at the bottom Pacific Ocean, where there is a tiny town called Bikini Bottom. This is where the characters live. By the way, in 2004, the full-length cartoon “SpongeBob SquarePants: The Movie” was also released. The series came to Russia in 2003. The broadcast was carried out on the TNT channel

So, about mortal sins.

Mr. Krabs represents greed. In the story, he is the greedy boss of the main character SpongeBob. Krabs saves all the time, thinks only about money and profit.

Plankton is a symbol of envy. The character is small in size, but his ego is inflated beyond measure. He constantly makes insidious plans on how to get what fate has unfairly deprived him of. In particular, the recipe for Krabby Patties.

Patrick represents laziness. He's so lazy about everything that he lives under a rock. This cartoon character does not work, but only plays and sleeps.

Sandy is a symbol of pride. This funny underwater squirrel is very proud that it is native to Texas, but can live underwater. Sandy spends almost all her time trying to become even more perfect.

Squidward symbolizes anger. Here comments, as they say, are unnecessary. There wasn't an episode where this character wasn't angry at SpongeBob and his friend Patrick.

Gary is the personification of gluttony. The little animal that lives with SpongeBob mostly sleeps and meows. However, he meows from a constant and indomitable feeling of hunger.

And finally, the main character!

SpongeBob is a symbol of lust. It is precisely this analogy that you will not notice at first glance. We associate the word “lust” with lust and sex. However, lust is also a passionate thirst for something in general. SpongeBob in the animated series is simply obsessed with a thirst for new experiences and life in all its manifestations.

SpongeBob (SpongeBob) SquarePants

Main character animated series of the same name SpongeBob Squapants (or SpongeBob SquarePants) is a peaceful and cheerful inhabitant of Bikini Bottom, who lives with his pet, the intelligent, meowing snail Gary, in a pineapple house. Adoration of everything he sees is the norm for SpongeBob. The world around us, his best friend Patrick, his constantly dissatisfied neighbor Squidwart and the Krusty Krab diner are seen in rosy and happy colors. SpongeBob has many friends because he always comes to the rescue of the unfortunate, he even helps Plankton, the enemy of Mr. Krabs (but not in those cases when he tries to steal the secret recipe for Krabby Patties).

Distinguished by excessive emotionality, he either cries or laughs. Cooking Krabby Patties is his favorite activity, for which he often stays late and for free at the diner where he works for Mr. Krabs, his boss. When it comes to work, SpongeBob is completely immersed in it, strictly following all the rules. He has received many awards for his excellent work, but the biggest reward for SpongeBob is seeing the happy faces of the inhabitants of Bikini Bottom who love his delicious Krabby Patties.

And she and Patrick love to catch jellyfish in the Jellyfish Fields. Together they come up with new games in which they often transform into their favorite superheroes - Sea Superman and Barnacle Boy.

SpongeBob's best friend and neighbor is Patrick the starfish. Living alone under a round stone in a hole, not working anywhere, he is terribly lazy. All Patrick's clothes are flowered shorts, and his furniture is only made of sand. All day long, Patrick can do nothing but watch TV, even SpongeBob often buys him food.

But the best playmate. Together with SpongeBob, he loves to play leapfrog and hide and seek, let soap bubbles, catch jellyfish. Sometimes he visits the Krusty Krab diner, where his friend works. Patrick was unable to get a job there himself. One day he wanted to get a hat, but he could do almost nothing for it.

In contrast to SpongeBob, Patrick is a terrible egoist, he thinks only of himself almost all the time, especially when it comes to toys and food, but bouts of kindness still sometimes happen to him. Patrick is not only lazy and selfish, but also stupid; the only time he could be called smart was when SpongeBob mistakenly put brain coral on Patrick's head.

Often taking on faith everything that he is told, Patrick, together with SpongeBob, out of naivety, often ends up in such risky adventures, from which it is not so easy to get out. But still, Patrick is lucky (as opposed to Squidward) and often gets away with it.

The male pet snail Gary is SpongeBob's favorite pet and best friend, who is much smarter than his owner, although you can't tell at first glance. In the episode where SpongeBob accidentally ends up in Gary's dream, we see that he has a huge library and communicates like a true intellectual. Even in reality, the newspapers Gary subscribes to serve him as more than just a bed. Gary speaks only in his snail language and meows like a cat, but SpongeBob still understands him perfectly.

Gary is a special snail. The fact that he crawls, like all other gastropods, leaving a trail of mucus behind him, does not prevent him from wearing sneakers, but when you learn about this, you cease to be surprised at the speed of his movement. In addition, anything can fit inside its sink - a gramophone, a sofa with a fireplace.

Gary doesn't really like to take part in his owner's adventures; he enjoys watching TV at home more. One day, when SpongeBob forcibly dragged Gary to the park for a walk, he fell in love and made an unsuccessful attempt to escape. The rally against the humiliating treatment of pets, organized by him at the exhibition, also ended in complete failure, which still did not prevent Gary from becoming the pet of the year.

Squidward(Snail)

Squidward Tenticles or "Squidward Tentacles" is an octopus that has the most bad character all over Bikini Bottom. He is unhappy and also a loser. He wants it so bad noisy friends and Patrick left him alone, but alas, this is not possible for him: not only does he work with SpongeBob at the Krusty Krab as a cashier, but his house is also located between Patrick's block house and SpongeBob's pineapple house.

Squidward sincerely considers himself unrecognized genius. He is interested in sculpture, music, painting (many self-portraits are hung on the walls of his house), but most of all Squidward loves his clarinet. But the inhabitants of Bikini Bottom do not see talent in him and keep sending him down to earth. Trying to stand out in every possible way, Squidward almost always fails; only when SpongeBob helps him do Squidward’s attempts succeed.
Hating his neighbors, Squidward still realizes that he would simply be bored without Patrick and SpongeBob.

This is especially noticeable in the episode where he leaves Bikini Bottom and settles in a city inhabited only by octopuses like Squidward, where he quickly realizes his mistake.

Mr. Krabs (Snail)

The boss of SpongeBob and Squidward, Krabs, is a rare miser and greedy person who has a simply pathological craving for money. He talks to coins, takes money baths, and when SpongeBob finds a coin on the street, Eugene Krabs begins to rave about easy money.

Once upon a time, Krabs stopped being a pirate and opened a diner, calling it the Krusty Krab. In it he sells, at exorbitant prices, Krabby Patties prepared according to his signature recipe. As children, together with their friend Plankton (who has now become his enemy), they invented a secret formula, from which Mr. Krabs makes money. Plankton, still using all sorts of methods, tries to steal the Krabby Patty recipe from the safe, failing each time with the help of SpongeBob.

Krabs and his daughter Pearl live in the anchor house. Mr. Krabs loves his daughter and Mrs. Krabs, although he lives separately from her. Nothing is known about Pearl's mother, but she herself is actually a whale. Often, Krabs' daughter complains about his stinginess.
Mr. Krabs' house is filled with amazing things. It also has a machine that makes soap from leftover Krabby Patties. Krabs is still reluctant to part with old, unusable things from time to time and distributes them to others, who lead everyone to new adventures.

Former friend Eugene Krabs - Plankton became his main enemy and rival after they did not share the secret formula for making Krabby Patties as children. Plankton also opened a diner called “The Garbage Bucket,” but due to the fact that he got the wrong part of the formula for the dishes, it is impossible to eat the dishes he prepared, and therefore no one goes to the diner. The evil genius of Bikini Bottom devotes his entire life to stealing the rest of the Krabby Patty recipe from Mr. Krabs.

Little green Plankton can easily hide anywhere (in one episode he even got inside SpongeBob). Appearance It also serves as an excellent disguise for him to make it easier to get into Krabs’ safe, where the treasured formula is stored, but he still always fails. Every time he is spotted by SpongeBob and Eugene Krabs, they either flush him down the toilet or slingshot him back into the “Trash Can”.

Plankton, desperate for a while, never ceases to hope that sooner or later he will have the whole formula. He continues to hatch plans for new attempts at theft, with his computer wife Karen helping him. Despite the fact that Plankton himself wrote the program for Karen, she is much smarter than her husband, but he will never admit this.

A real squirrel from Texas, Sandy lives under a plastic air dome near Bikini Bottom. Her home is an oak tree, and acorns are Sandy’s weakness, and the squirrel is also excellent at karate, which once helped SpongeBob meet her and become friends. Sandy was sent into the air dome by monkey sponsors for scientific research, which she spends at the bottom of the ocean, each time wearing her underwater suit.

In contrast to Plankton, Sandy is a very smart scientist, her inventions help all the inhabitants live, but in the case when SpongeBob is the guinea pig, the result is complete confusion.
Sometimes SpongeBob and Patrick come to visit Sandy under the dome and fill their helmets with water to get to her. Usually Sandy is very friendly, but not when she is woken up and brought out of hibernation, then the squirrel becomes very aggressive and is no longer responsible for her actions.

What are Krabby Patties made of?

Do you like the cartoon about SpongeBob? Then better not read this article! ( At the very end - voting: what do you think about this?).

But if you want to know everything...

- Are you ready, children?

- Yes, captain!

Then now we will destroy the “rose dreams” of a carefree childhood.

This is the pinnacle of underwater cuisine and can only be found in Bikini Bottom's Krusty Krab. It's a Krabby Patty! And only SpongeBob knows how to cook it. True, he receives his food as ready-made semi-finished products...

For many years, people and fish have asked the question: "Where does the Krabby Patty meat come from?"

It turns out that the founder, owner, manager and general manager, Eugene H. Krabs may be keeping the formula secret for a very good reason.

Clarification from Beauty: Officially, he is not Eugene, but Eugene. That is, in Russian Eugene is Evgeniy, but everyone is used to calling him Eugene Krabs.

That's because the Krabby Patty is made from... crabs.

Mr. Krabs turns out to be a real cannibal: he eats his own kind! What you won't do for money!

Has he built his entire life on eating his relatives?

Please note that Mr. Krabs is the only crab in the cartoon. In Bikini Bottom we only know Mr. Krabs and his mommy.

All the rest are NOT crabs!

NOT A CRAB either:

And they are NOT CRABS at all:

However, in one episode (Greedy Krabs) we meet a group of greedy crabs who really don't like to spend their money. But they're not from Bikini Bottom, so that doesn't disprove the theory that Krabs is a cannibal.

And then there are the menu items. This is amazingly accurate. Everything here is about crabs! How come we didn't see this?

Finally, the restaurant is literally shaped like a crab pot. Well, exactly!

This is already too much.

But we will never know exactly what is in the recipe, whether the theory of this origin of meat for Krabby Patty is correct, but the facts given above make us think!

What do you think?!

Is Krabs a cannibal?

Or is he still a kind, albeit greedy boss?

Alternative opinions

Many people have tried making crab cakes and beef cutlets. No matter how you try to make them, Krabby Patties still don't come out right. Perhaps the recipe calls for “beef” from sea cows?

There is an episode in the series where Plankton finally receives the secret formula and is horrified to learn the secret ingredient - and it looks like plankton.
Clarification from Beauty: About the series about Plankton. There, Krabs deliberately falsified the recipe in order to throw off Plankton, so the meat was clearly made from something else...

What do you think the meat for Krabby Patties is from?

These are crabs!

From plankton.

This is the meat of sea cows.

It's not meat at all!

I have a different opinion.

SpongeBob SquarePants is one of children's favorite cartoon characters. Bright hero, ready to help friends, promoting decency, courage and honesty, is popular today among children and teenagers. Branded products featuring the cartoon character are in demand all over the world.

History of creation

SpongeBob (in Russian translation - SpongeBob) became the hero of the animated series, the premiere episode of which was released on television in the spring of 1999. Product children's TV channel Nickelodeon turned out to be no less popular than Hey Arnold! or "Catdog". The story of a small sponge living at the bottom of the ocean in the town of Bikini Bottom has attracted the interest of millions of viewers. The cartoon was about the main character, whose home was a pineapple located on Shell Street, and about his neighbors: an octopus, Sandy the squirrel and a starfish.

SpongeBob works at Mr. Krabs and is trying to get a promotion. The character's life is busy interesting events. The hero learns to drive, receives unexpected guests, organizes parties and takes part in unpredictable scams. The cartoon character was invented by Stephen Hillenburg, and Thomas Kenny gave his voice to SpongeBob.

A marine biologist, Hillenburg always felt a craving for art, and at some point it overcame common sense. A specialist in marine life, he took an animation course and, upon completing it, gave life to a character that had no analogues in cinema. The underwater city, invented by the author, is inhabited by animals, which only required the consent of the Nickelodeon channel to introduce them to the viewer.

Hillenburg prepared a presentation, offering sketches and sculptures for the producers' consideration, as well as a composed song for the introduction. The idea turned out to be in demand. After some time, the cartoon gathered an impressive audience of fans in front of the screens. Today the project is a nominee and winner of prestigious awards in the field of television and animation.

Animated series

The characters in the project are unusual and interesting. Spongebob is central character actions. His age is undetermined and irrelevant. Sponge is not just a symbol for a character. Unlike friends, the hero is not an animal, but an inanimate object. While working at the Krusty Krabs, SpongeBob prepares burgers, the recipe of which Plankton is trying to steal. The hero loves his job and works tirelessly year after year.

The character's adventures are directly related to the infantilism of Sponge and his neighbors. In the company of friends, he catches jellyfish, studies karate, blows bubbles and watches cartoons. The stupid Patrick became SpongeBob's close friend. An eccentric starfish in Hawaiian shorts is lazy and bulky bad habits. IN free time friends are having fun and doing all sorts of pranks. Patrick often becomes a source of problems for Bob. The starfish's narrow-mindedness is explained by biological reasons, but this does not become a problem for the heroes' friendship.

The opposite of SpongeBob is the talented and cunning octopus Squidward. They don't get along with each other, but are forced to live next door. An art lover, the octopus paints pictures, plays the violin and loves silence. He rarely gets to be alone and calm, because Bob and Patrick constantly drag him into adventure stories. Unlike Sponge, Squidward does not like work and constant fun, but in some episodes he becomes bored, and, remembering his neighbor’s carelessness, he has fun in his house.

SpongeBob is friends with Sandy the Squirrel, who lives on the seabed in a special aquarium and moves around the town in the aquarium. An athlete and scholar, she moved to Bikini Bottom from Texas. The squirrel often helps Bob out of trouble. The leitmotif of their relationship has a slight hint of romance, but the story of Sponge and Squirrel remains unfinished. SpongeBob helps Sandy understand some of the laws of the sea and introduces her to the types of entertainment available.

The main character also has enemies. Eugene Krabs and Plankton are among them. Competing eatery owners are trying to gain the upper hand. The first attracts the public with a wonderful dish, and the second with technical innovations. Sea creatures prefer Krabby Patties, so Plankton often loses in the fight. SpongeBob has repeatedly defended the secret of making burgers from his competitor, but Plankton inexorably repeats his attempts to find out the secret.

From time to time, a silent character appears on the screen who means a lot to the main character. This is his pet snail Gary. Sometimes viewers see Mr. Krabs' daughter in the form of a whale. Plankton's wife (a mechanized creature), Harry's lobster trainer or Mrs. Puff's puffer fish, who teaches Bob to drive, do not appear in every episode, but they have a unique charm.

  • Few people know that SpongeBob is a diminutive name for SpongeBob. His name is actually Robert Harold Squarepants. At first he was given the name Sponge Boy, but it turned out that popular brand detergent is already using it, and the hero had to be renamed. The author assumed that the character should have a round body, but over time abandoned this idea, since it suited the character of the hero more unusual shape. Bob wears a shirt and tie and a red hat and occasionally appears in underwear.

  • Critics believe that the characters in the animated series symbolize mortal sins. So, Mr. Krabs is credited with greed, and Plankton is credited with envy. Patrick suffers from laziness, and Sandy struggles with anger. The snail loves to eat and symbolizes gluttony, and Bob satisfies his lust. At the same time, lust is not understood in the literal sense, but in analogy with the character’s internal passions, which cannot always be overcome. Crazy ideas constantly appear in Bob's head, the implementation of which he cannot refuse.
  • The cartoon and its characters gained popularity in 2007, after the release of the second season. In 2007, Time magazine recognized the project as the best television product. Among the popular episodes of the series, viewers named “The Idiot Box,” “The Clever Crane,” and “Stuck in the Refrigerator.”

“SpongeBob SquarePants” or simply “SpongeBob” is one of the most popular cartoons on the Nickelodeon television channel. Yes, my dear, but not quite a young friend. In fact, Nickelodeon is an entire American animated television channel, which in the early and mid-2000s was shown as a series of cartoons on the TNT channel. That is, in fact, it was a truncated, docked segment of the whole television channel. It was through him that we learned about such cartoons: “As Ginger Says,” “CatDog,” “The Wild Thornberry Family,” “Rugrats!”, “Jimmy Neutron – Boy Genius,” etc.

"SpongeBob" on Nickelodeon

It is worth noting that the original Nickelodeon, as well as other similar channels, broadcast many very mediocre “masterpieces” of animation. I won’t say anything at all about the current state of affairs. Based on this, we can conclude that the Russian young and green viewer was shown the cream of the crop, carefully collected by caring producers.

Russian version of the logo

SpongeBob is one of the longest-running projects that continues to eat away at the fragile psyche of the younger generation. To date, 234 episodes have been released, and 267 are planned. Thus, we see that the imagination of the authors of this opus is practically inexhaustible and continues to generate new trash.

At one time, and this was 2003-2005. a cartoon about a yellow sponge, more like a dishwashing sponge than an inhabitant of the seabed, enslaved my consciousness. Of the entire series of Nickelodeon cartoons, on the then-tube TNT, I was looking forward to this one with more impatience than the others. It must be said that he was very successful on air: he was always shown last. And if you didn’t have time to watch the first and second cartoons while you were galloping home from school, popping into the store for some goodies along the way, then you always had time to watch SpongeBob. Personally, I started to get crazy about the yellow sponge even before it became mainstream, that is, before those pedagogical-Emar times of 2007, but more on that a little later.

Characters of the cartoon "SpongeBob"

Today we will talk about the main characters of this opus, and perhaps you will learn something new for yourself.

Are you ready, children?

Yes, captain!

I can't hear!

That's right, captain!

Whooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...

Who lives at the bottom of the ocean???

SpongeBob Squapens!!!

spongebob

Let's start with Sponge. Few people know, but full name This guy is Robert Harold SquarePants, and he was born on July 14, 1986 (according to his passport). As an adult, already formed person, the question immediately arises in me: “Is it really possible that a little boy, let’s call him a boy, works for an adult uncle in a cafe like a galley slave? This is the use of child labor. Merciless! However, my question will still remain unanswered. It's a cartoon.

SpongeBob character from the animated series "SpongeBob SquarePants"

The image of the sponge itself is still positioned as the image of a sea sponge, despite its appearance, which, by the way, is very pleasing. I was always amused by his teeth - two incisors, always sticking out; awkwardly long arms; a lot of holes all over the body; square pants that don't lose their shape even when the character takes them off; and most importantly - the possibility of transformation into any state and image.

Those square pants

In his behavior, Sponge really looks like a teenage child: he constantly has fun with his best friend Patrick, comes up with crazy ideas, and generally behaves fearlessly in relation to many things.

Despite his age, for some reason he works in the Krusty Krabs establishment for the miser Mr. Krabs, which, however, does not prevent the former from being happy: he works as a farmhand for himself, he is least interested in pleasure and his material condition. He became 364 times best employee month, which seems to hint.

And although, if we think about it in all seriousness, this cartoon cannot be fully called children's, the character of SpongeBob is very optimistic, naive, kind, hardworking and has a lot of positive qualities, which creates a favorable image.

In the wake of Emar and Pedov hysteria, which occurred in the mid-2000s (yes, that same 2007 that cannot be returned!) the cartoon received new life, in particular, Sponge’s popularity skyrocketed.

Crowds of teenagers aged 12 to 19 staged raids on kiosks/stalls, stationery stores and anything else that had any paraphernalia with cartoon characters. Below is just the tip of the iceberg.

What else is SpongeBob remembered by the 2000s generation? I associate one wonderful game with it. Who remembers her besides me? Now let's do a little test.

Screenshot of the famous flash game “Find 3 differences”

If, at the sight of this screenshot, your hair stood on end, something shrank or wrinkled, then you understand what I mean. This is the same canonical “find 3 differences” game, after which your life will not be the same :)

After you have “found 3 differences”, SpongeBob appears on the screen, as if mocking you.

Gary the Snail

Gary the snail is SpongeBob's pet; his habits are very reminiscent of a cat, although in a number of episodes he destroys existing stereotypes: he squeals, roars and even barks. However, he only barks when he is angry, which is rare.

Gary the Snail character from the animated series "SpongeBob SquarePants"

Patrick Star

Patrick Star is, in my opinion, the second most important cartoon character. He is a starfish with an absolute absence of a brain, which is manifested through the actions he performs, the generation of ideas, etc. Patrick and SpongeBob - best friends who live next door and love to catch jellyfish and blow bubbles. Patrick doesn’t work, he sits at home all day and watches TV, which personifies the dim-witted, dumb inhabitant of the world. Irony? Maybe.

Character Patrick Star from the animated series "SpongeBob SquarePants"

Speaking about this character, it can be noted that he often likes to expose his body parts, in particular his butt, which has become a kind of cartoon meme.

Briefly about Patrick and his passions

Squidward

Squidward is a humanoid octopus who is in some ways an antagonist to SpongeBob. He works at the Krusty Krabs with a sponge, but he hates his job. Moreover, he embodies the most worst qualities– cynicism, pretentiousness, willfulness, narcissism, vanity, selfishness, etc.

Squidward character from the animated series "SpongeBob SquarePants"

In addition to their shared place of work, Squidward and SpongeBob are neighbors, which causes the former to constantly suffer. Earlier I mentioned that SpongeBob is a cheerful, naive, active child, whose energy extends to everything living and inanimate within a radius of several kilometers. The first to suffer from this is Squidward, who loves peace, tranquility and gets irritated for any reason. Speaking modern language, the octopus is furiously butt-hurt every episode by SpongeBob, who has extremely good intentions.

Squidward character, in addition to the classic one animated film, gained additional popularity due to mysterious story, associated with the so-called "death file". To put it very briefly: there is a legend according to which at the studio producing the cartoon “SpongeBob SquarePants”, in the mid-2000s - around 2005 - a cartoon series was discovered that was significantly different from all the others. It was called "Squidward's Suicide", and was stuffed with various creepy moments. Of course, this is just a legend, although you can find a bunch of “original” versions of this series on the Internet.

Variations on the theme "Roskomnadzor Squidward"

Sandy Cheeks

The female character in the cartoon is represented by the smart astronaut squirrel Sandy Cheeks, who is also the girlfriend of SpongeBob and Patrick Star. Given the growing popularity of the feminist movement and the desire to push positive female characters at any television project, we can say that the creators of the cartoon foresaw the future :)

Sandy is a talented scientist and inventor. Sandy is also interested in extreme sports, weightlifting, martial arts and is a rodeo champion.

Character Sandy Cheeks from the animated series "SpongeBob SquarePants"

Since Sandy the squirrel is a representative of animals that live on land, her home is a huge tree under a dome with a climate corresponding to the surface on earth.

Mr Krabs

Mr. Krabs, whose full name is Eugene Harold Krabs, is Squidward and SpongeBob's employer, owns the Krusty Krab. According to one episode, he was born on November 30, 1942, which hints at his old age, which does not prevent him, however, from trying to extract maximum profit even from a grain of sand or stone. In the most literal sense of the word, he is a miser and a miser, caring only about his personal well-being. Viewers have several versions about this. According to the first, the desire to accumulate money is the cause of hopeless poverty in childhood; and according to the second, his “nationality” is you-know-who.

The character Mr. Krabs from the animated series "SpongeBob SquarePants"

Mr. Krabs is short, red, and plump, and has very tall eyestalks, a frilled nose, large claws, and very short, pointy legs. He wears a blue shirt. Krabs is often compared to a sailor or pirate. Despite his money-grubbing ways, it is sometimes apparent that Mr. Krabs is not entirely heartless. He sometimes apologizes for his actions. He loves SpongeBob and his daughter and takes care of her. He respects SpongeBob and Squidward as they help keep his restaurant afloat.

Plankton

Another antagonist, but this time Mr. Krabs, is Plankton. Plankton is a failed businessman (owns the Trash Can restaurant), lives with his computer wife and has a fixed idea of capturing secret recipe KrustyKrabsburger. Previously, she and Eugene were inseparable, but it was the secret recipe that ended their friendship.

Character Plankton from the animated series "SpongeBob SquarePants"

Despite his business failures, he still hopes to obtain the secret recipe and, as a result, develop his restaurant. All his inventions serve one purpose - to annoy Mr. Krabs.

These are the main characters of the cartoon "SpongeBob SquarePants". Of course, there are a number minor characters: hedgehog fish - teacher of driving lessons to SpongeBob, Pearl - adopted daughter of Mr. Krabs, Karen - computer wife of Plankton, etc.

Finally I will share with you fun fact, found on the Internet.

There is an opinion that a number of cartoon characters personify the 7 deadly sins: Mr. Krabs - Greed, Plankton - Envy, Patrick - Laziness, Dejection, Sandy the Squirrel - Pride, Squidward - Anger, SpongeBob - Lust, Gary the Snail - Gluttony.

And the truth, as always, is somewhere in the middle...
