Guidelines for preparing children for school. Preparing a child for school: hard work or an exciting game

Hello, dear colleagues and caring parents! In this section, I will publish my classes with children in preparation for schooling.

Today, June 1, my "Home School" has opened! Why homemade? I conduct classes at my home. I have a private home where the largest and most spacious room turns into a study room on the day of class.

I also have a large enough yard for children to play and a garden plot, which will also play a role in the education and development of my little students. Well, and most importantly, there is a great experience in pedagogical work with elementary school students and the experience of just a mother of three children.

Are you surprised that my school opened on June 1, the first day of summer vacation? This has its own explanation. Firstly, summer holidays are a vacation for school students, and my little students are still preschoolers. Secondly, summer is the time for teachers' holidays. Namely, at this time, caring parents turn to primary school teachers for help. And their request for help is simple: “Please prepare the child for school.”

My little students are not going to school this year yet. Therefore, I intend to study with them until May 31, 2015, that is, exactly one year. There are 4 children in my small group so far. These are my two sons: six-year-old Pavlusha and four-year-old Andryusha and the daughters of my close friends, two five-year-old girls Ladushka and Sashenka. The team is small, but united by one spirit and a common goal. Most importantly, I have assistants, two wonderful mothers of female students. One mother is an artist, and the other is a music school teacher.

I don’t have my own personal methodology for preparing children for schooling. But there is 17 years of experience as a primary school teacher and the experience of a mother of many children. With my eldest daughter, and she is 24 years old, we went through preparation for school, and primary classes, and the Unified State Examination in the 11th grade, and 5 years of university.

There are 5 main goals that we will try to achieve together as the basis for conducting pre-school classes.

1. Development of memory and attention.

2. Replenishment of vocabulary, development of speech and general outlook.

3. Development of fine motor skills of the fingers.

4. Learning to count within the first ten and the alphabet.

5. Aesthetic development (music, drawing).

And now I will describe in detail the course of lesson 1.

Lesson #1

On the day of the lesson, my preschool children will be with me for 2 hours. Each lesson is complex and it is impossible to give such a large amount of information to preschoolers in one fell swoop. Each stage of the lesson should last no more than 15-20 minutes. Between each stage there will be outdoor games, games in the room on the carpet, musical breaks and, of course, work on the plot. I allocated a garden bed for each child - a small garden where children will plant various plants. During the summer we will take care of the seedlings, observe their growth and development. Well, in the end, I hope, we will harvest.

Now let's go point by point:

1. Development of memory and attention.

You can choose pictures for “photography” yourself, but if you want, I will share with you my presentation with a selection of pictures.

Download The presentation is available from the website:

2. Replenishment of vocabulary, development of speech and general outlook.

At the first lesson, I limited myself to cards according to the method of Glen Doman (domestic and wild animals).

3. Development of fine motor skills of the fingers.

Here I use Olesya Zhukova's recipe. Here are the copybook pages that I chose for the first lesson. They can be downloaded from the site page (click on the image and it will increase, then right-click and select "Save image as ...")

4. Learning to count within the first ten and the ABC.

Counting training:

The first thing I started with was a voiced presentation according to the method of Glenn Doman "Mathematics from the Diapers". I am not at all embarrassed by the word "from the cradle." I like this technique and it doesn’t matter to me that my little students have long crawled out of these very diapers.

I made the numbers in Microsoft Word in A4 format, printed it out and cut it.

For this part of the lesson, I have another presentation in stock, "Learning to count from 1 to 5. Collection for kids." Here, first, I visually introduce the concept of "number", and only then "number". All pictures on slides appear on click. Transition to the next slide is also on click. The presentation quality is excellent. You can pick up this presentation directly from the site.

Download presentation:

At the first lesson, I gave out the “Count from 1 to 5” block, because my students are already familiar with numbers. Here, on the site "Nachalochka" you can see additional materials on this topic in the "Mathematics" section.

ABC. Sound [a] and letters Aa.

To work with the alphabet, I use tasks from the following sources:

Workbook "Teaching Literacy Toddlers"

Primer by N. S. Zhukova

A page from Olesya Zhukova's copybook with the letter A (see above on this page).

I do not describe my lesson in detail, because this article is intended primarily for my colleagues - primary school teachers. But they know what and where to say, what questions to ask, etc.

5. Aesthetic education.

In the first lesson, I used my favorite “finger painting”. You can read more about this type of drawing on the same Taratorka website. In the side menu, select the heading "Drawing" and then "drawing with fingers." On the site page you can download pictures for coloring. On this site, I also have children's pictures for coloring, which are suitable for drawing with fingers. See here: (download link under the flash video).

All stages of the lesson were completed successfully. Moreover, the guys could not leave. When their mothers came for the children, they had to spend another couple of hours with me.

My next class is scheduled for Wednesday, June 4th. The course of lesson No. 2 and all subsequent ones will be published on the website. Preparation for school, classes for preschoolers is a topic that worries many parents. What should a child know before going to school? How to instill in him the skills needed in the assimilation of school material? We will talk about this in detail in this article.

  1. What should a child know and be able to do at 6-7 years old
  2. Preparing for school: where to start
  3. Tasks for preparing for grade 1
  4. Fundamentals of mathematics - our personal experience
  5. School Ready Games

Hello dear readers! This article is dedicated to those whose baby will soon become a first grader. Preparation for school, classes for preschoolers is one of the main topics for caring parents. In addition, they have many questions. Will the child study well, will he go to school with pleasure, will he overcome a considerable amount of program material? True, some parents believe that preparing for school is superfluous, “they will teach you everything there.” This is not true. An unprepared child is sure to face certain difficulties in learning. If you want to make the school program easier for your offspring, help him!

In this article I will describe the main parameters, by which you can determine for yourself whether your child is ready to step into school life. I advise you to take a piece of paper with a pen and as you read, note for yourself the points that you should work on. My son and I are engaged in a constant mode, I describe in detail our classes, share my experience with readers. Therefore, in the article you will see links to the classes I have already covered, and if you need to work on this fad, do not be too lazy to go and read a separate article. So, let's begin!

What a child needs to know and be able to

It is believed that a child of 6-7 years of age should have the following knowledge and skills:

  • Know your own last name, first name and patronymic. It is also necessary to know the surnames, first names and patronymics of the parents, their place of work, their address and telephone number;
  • know the name of the locality where he lives, the correct names of other countries of the world;
  • know the names of animals, be able to distinguish wild animals from domestic ones, be able to divide them into categories (a sparrow is a bird, a shark is a fish, a bear is an animal). In addition, you need to know the names of the most common plants, vegetables, fruits and berries;
  • know the times of day, seasons, their sequence, as well as the number of months in a year, the number of days in a month and a week. In addition, the baby should know what the days of the week are called;
  • you need to have an idea about the main natural phenomena;
  • names of the most common colors;
  • know the names of several sports;
  • answer the names of the most common professions, be able to tell what people related to a particular profession do;
  • the baby needs to be able to talk about his favorite activities;
  • at the age of 6-7, children need to know the rules of the road and the purpose of road signs;
  • basic knowledge is needed for teaching reading, writing and mathematics (the ability to highlight a certain letter in a word, print letters, count up to 10 back and forth, solve easy examples within these numbers, even if using visual objects).

A lot of? Yes, a lot! The task of parents is to help master this knowledge.

How to start preparing children for school

Preparing children for school includes a variety of tasks and exercises. Let's take a look at the main areas.

Development of cognitive, emotional and communicative spheres

It is at preschool age that the formation of the foundations of communication in a team takes place. Be that as it may, a school is, first of all, a team. What do parents need to know?

  1. Consider the child's temperament, his habits and desires. Don't rush things. One kid cannot do without friends, the other has a great time in the company of his favorite toys. Allow the child to be himself.
  2. Be an example, children, without realizing it, often copy the behavior of adults in relation to other people. Your own example works better than any edification.
  3. Listen carefully to your son or daughter, ask questions, show that the story is really interesting.

The development of oral speech of a preschooler

Here are some tips for speech development.

I also advise you to listen to the opinion of a speech therapist:

Learning to read

Contrary to many myths and conjectures, no one will require the ability to read fluently from a first-grader. Another thing is that it is important that the child remembers the names of the letters and their corresponding sounds. To do this, there are many options for a split alphabet, cubes and puzzles with letters. There are also a huge number of computer educational games (below I will advise our favorite), but you should not get too carried away with them.

Useful exercises when teaching a preschooler

These tasks for preparing for school will help with the development of writing, drawing skills, develop the ability to think and draw conclusions.

Logic exercises

Quite serious requirements are imposed on the preschooler in the field of logic. For example, you need:

  • So that he can find the extra among several objects;
  • write a story based on the given pictures;
  • combine several items according to a common feature (this feature must be found independently);
  • continue the story.

Logic exercises help a preschooler develop independent thinking, speech, and the ability to communicate with peers if several children are involved. Here is an example of logical exercises for preschoolers from Mercibo. After registering on their website, you can choose games for the right age and start an exciting journey.

I assure you it's interesting! My son is delighted with the program, and I am delighted with the game form, in which sometimes difficult tasks are presented. Do not leave the child alone with tasks, if it is difficult for him, and there is no one nearby who will help - interest will disappear and time will be wasted.

Development of fine motor skills

Preparing for school, classes for preschoolers are unthinkable without the development of fine motor skills. The formation of fine finger motor skills is all the more important because by the age of 6-7 the formation of the areas of the cerebral cortex, which are responsible for the development of small muscles of the hand, ends.

For the formation of fine motor skills, drawing, making crafts from plasticine, clay, wax, assembling a designer, appliqué from various materials (fabric, matches, colored paper) are very useful. Let not everything and not always work! It is important to support the child in his efforts, to say that everything will certainly work out. The kid becomes more confident in himself, his self-esteem increases.

Closer to 6-7 years old, boys and girls can get involved in modeling according to the instructions. The result becomes important for children, they follow the rules with pleasure. Simple but very visual books by Vera Grof can help them with this.

We prepare the foundation for mathematical knowledge

Mathematics is one of the most difficult school subjects. As a rule, mathematics in preparation for school causes the greatest number of difficulties. I advise you to familiarize yourself with our experience in preparing a preschooler for the first grade. Here are some interesting articles that are sure to be helpful.

Math for preschoolers

Mathematics is not only necessary and difficult, but also a very interesting science! In this article, I showed how to interest a child in solving mathematical problems. It is much more interesting for my son to study, imagining that these are not mathematical examples for addition and subtraction, but delicious pancakes or a magic flower with task petals and an answer in the center.

Five funny fingers

Take a piece of paper and a pencil. Ask the child to trace the fingers on the hand. Now a few tasks:

  • Count the fingers on the hand;
  • assign a specific number to each.

Looking for quadrilaterals

Draw some geometric shapes and ask your child to find only quadrilaterals. Let the kid count them and color them, for example, in green.

remember the number

Prepare cards with different numbers. Take two cards and ask the child to memorize their names. Then mix them with the rest of the numbers, ask them to choose exactly those that they remember.

Make up the numbers

This game is for a child who knows how to write this or that number. Prepare cards with numbers from 1 to 10. Cut the cards in half and ask the child to arrange the halves so that the images of the numbers are again obtained.

Possible difficulties and errors

Consider the most common mistakes parents make, find out how to avoid mistakes when preparing for school.

  1. Complete inactivity. As already mentioned, some parents mistakenly believe that the child will learn everything on his own, "there is nothing for him to dry his brains." Of course, he will learn, but it will be much more difficult for him than for trained peers. Yes, and the self-esteem of the baby suffers.
  2. An equally serious mistake is to shift all responsibility to a kindergarten or a child development center. No one says that teaching a preschooler is a simple matter, but it is available to all parents who are interested in a good result.
  3. "Better late than never". In this case, the proverb does not work. Trying to make a child a genius a few months before the significant September 1st, feverishly performing various tasks, is at least unreasonable. It is necessary that preparation for school, classes for preschoolers be regular and a few years before the first school bell.
  4. The most common misconception is to try at all costs to teach a child the skills of reading, counting and writing. Of course, these are wonderful skills, but they do not at all guarantee that the baby will successfully learn school material. Much more valuable skills are the ability to reflect, compare objects, trace connections between phenomena, and draw conclusions.

Sometimes it happens that the baby cannot understand the material in any way or does not learn it well enough. Nothing wrong with that. It's just that the future student has not formed the prerequisites for this material. It is important, when teaching a child, not to discourage him from studying, not to harm the future educational process. Do not make preparation for school, classes for preschoolers become a routine. How to do it? Very simple. First, exercise regularly. Secondly, choose such games and exercises that are not only useful, but also like the child.

That’s all for today, dear readers, if the information seems useful to you, share it on social networks. networks with friends, observing . And I will try to please you with no less interesting articles. In order not to miss the weekly newsletter, please subscribe at the top of the page.

We publish nine tasks with sheets for printing - to prepare for school from notebooks of the Japanese KUMON series, which are used by children in 46 countries of the world. Today we will teach the child numbers and shapes, add and subtract using simple examples. Easy and fun!

But first - advice for parents: how to teach your baby to hold a pen and pencil correctly.

How to hold a pen

There are several ways to teach your child how to hold a pen or pencil correctly. Here is one of them. It is difficult for a child whose fingers are not yet strong enough to hold a pencil correctly. Teach him this gradually so that he does not lose interest in writing.

1. Help the child place the index finger and thumb at a right angle, as shown in the figure. Place the pencil on top of the groove between these fingers and at the same time on the bent middle finger.

2. Now have the child squeeze the pencil between thumb and forefinger.

3. Compare with the drawing to see if your child is holding the pencil correctly.

Activities for preschoolers

1. Draw a line from 1 to 5 through all the numbers in order, calling them out loud.

2. Write the number 4 and say it.

3. Find and circle shapes that look like the pattern.

On this page, the child needs to find circles of different sizes among other shapes. If it is difficult for him to cope with the task, describe the circle to the child. Say, for example, that a circle is like a ball.

4. Write the missing numbers in the table, and then perform the addition.

5. Subtract. Solve each example!

6. Draw a line from the arrow (↓) to the asterisk (*) that will connect all the reels.

7. Color the mouthwash cup and toothpaste tube.

In this task, you need to color the mouthwash cup and the toothpaste tube. When the child finishes the work, say: “The boy is just great for brushing his teeth before going to bed! And you will brush your teeth today too.”

8. Do the addition.

Tasks for preparing for school include the best cognitive express methods. Teaching material is developed, depending on the individual characteristics of future students. According to the Federal State Educational Standard, preparing a child for school means the formation of a successful personality, independent and self-confident. Currently, there are many interactive, electronic methods with a description. Children can prepare for them at home under the strict guidance of their parents and completely free of charge.

How to prepare for school: rules and requirements

Preschool preparation is an important stage in the life of every child, but not all parents understand why this is necessary and where to start.

Classes are required so that the child is mentally, emotionally and psychologically adapted to a new stage in his life.

Tasks for preparatory groups will help to study successfully, develop the physical and intellectual skills of the child, and help with admission to school during interviews with teachers.

There are certain requirements that a first grader should know and be able to:

  • Full name (own and parents), address of residence, city;
  • place of work of parents;
  • holidays;
  • professions;
  • distinguish between vegetables and fruits, edible from inedible;
  • seasons and the number of months in it, days of the week;
  • famous poets and musicians;
  • Traffic Laws;
  • distinguish colors;
  • letters, numbers;
  • read syllables and complete sentences;
  • write in a notebook;
  • count from 0 to 10 and vice versa;
  • recite verses with expression by heart;
  • retell what they read and heard;
  • solve riddles;
  • invent and tell a story;
  • write a story based on the given picture;
  • answer questions clearly.

Even though first grade education includes many things from the list, on testing / interviews for admission to school, they pay attention to these points.

Developing classes

Currently, there are many developmental preparatory classes and courses. Each task is prepared individually, based on the abilities and skills of the preschooler. There are notes that indicate how best to present the material to the child. A variety of methods includes tasks for both kids who are not yet 4 years old, and for children from 6 years old. Classes allow the child to easily complete the first grade and successfully move to the 2nd. Preparatory courses include most of the school curriculum for first-graders.

Grammar

While studying the Russian language, the child will learn how to correctly decline words, select prepositions for nouns. Learning to read and write will help you master your oral and written skills.

  • Task with the letter K. Color in those pictures in the photo where there is a specified sound.

  • Circle the pictures whose names begin with a vowel sound.

  • Color the vowels in red, the consonants in black.

  • Match objects with the sounds their names begin with.

  • Suggest a word. Continue the expression: "Our Tanya is crying loudly, she dropped it into the river ... (ball)." “The hostess abandoned the bunny, remained in the rain ... (bunny).”
  • Guess the item from the description. "Fluffy, cold, white, creaks underfoot in winter ... (snow)." “Yellow, shines brightly in the sky during the day ... (sun)”. "High, grows in the forest, it has a lot of branches ... (tree)."
  • Name the first sound in the word, indicate whether it is a vowel or a consonant: k-potato, a-orange, s-table, t-phone, y-snail.
  • Name the child any word and ask: what is the first sound, is it a vowel or a consonant, what letter does the word end with. Then the child himself continues to name words, the beginning of which will correspond to the last sound. Tree-Island-Bucket-Hoop-Kettle and so on.
  • Connect objects with an identical number of sounds in a word with lines.

Writing skills

Mastering elementary graphic and technical skills.

Entertaining tasks at home:

  • Outline the letters.

  • Draw shapes like in the picture.

  • Move the figure to a new location.

  • Draw a house.

  • Name the animals in the picture, color them in different colors.

  • Copy drawing.

  • Draw a boat.

  • Circle the objects along the dotted lines.

Mathematics

Mathematical simulators teach to think logically, form a quick reaction and cognitive interest, help to quickly prepare six-year-olds for grade 1.

Logic tasks

Classes will help the child learn to reason, build logical chains, sequence, develop curiosity and inquisitiveness of the mind.

  • What happens if you put the numbers in order.

  • Find and color identical chickens.

  • Find a pattern and draw the shapes.

  • Connect objects in pairs with lines.

  • Color the same figures in the same color. Count how many of them.

  • Puzzle.

  • Find who is hiding in the picture.

  • Find an extra item in the picture, tell why.

  • From which fairy tales pictures, color the characters.

Speech development

By regularly exercising, the younger student learns to convey thoughts and emotions. As a result, speech becomes richer, vocabulary increases.

  • Describe any situation, talk about emotions, express feelings.
  • Find similar or opposite words for any adjectives (cold - frosty, hot).
  • Read the words aloud.
  • Tell a story by looking at pictures from your favorite books.

For the development of correct diction, it is useful to regularly carry out gymnastics, including exercises:

  • The child rests the tongue on the left, then the right cheek, while the mouth is closed.
  • The baby's mouth is open, the tongue is arched and rests on the lower teeth.
  • The child smiles with his mouth open, the tip of the tongue rests on the left and right side of the mouth alternately.
  • Imagine that the tip of the tongue is a toothbrush, "brush" the teeth of the upper and lower jaws, the latter remains motionless.
  • The child smiles as widely as possible for 7-10 seconds, showing his teeth.

Reading

Reading develops interest in letters, signs, literacy, increases vocabulary.

  • Find a familiar word in the text offered to the child in 2 minutes.
  • Read by increasing/decreasing the volume of speech.
  • Read the text “to yourself”, tell what it is about.
  • In one minute, the child is asked to write as many vowels/consonants as possible.
  • Read the text and answer the prepared questions.
  • Teach your child to read without paying attention to extraneous sounds, for example, you can turn on the TV.
  • Read letters of different sizes.
  • Reading short texts without opening your teeth. Retelling what has been read.
  • Reading at speed.
  • Daily review of reading.

Drawing

Drawing will help to satisfy creative curiosity, develop imagination.

The world

Classes develop sensory skills, introduce the baby to nature, help to study the environment.

Attention exercises

The development of attention contributes to the speed of reaction, concentration, perseverance, switchability.

On thinking and memory.

Classes develop perseverance, attention in the lesson, the ability to think logically, perceive and assimilate information.

For fine motor skills

The development of fine motor skills of the future first-grader is coordinated by the nervous, skeletal and muscular systems. As a result of classes, dexterity of movements, writing skills are acquired.

  • An adult with his palms easily massages the child's fingers with the saying "Magpie-Crow".
  • The game of "Okay".
  • Turning the pages of a book or magazine.
  • Finger picking beads.
  • Folding towers from cubes, dominoes, cards.
  • Drawing on the sand.
  • The child is invited to take a pea out of a jar with an easy-to-open lid, then repeat the manipulations.
  • Zip up and unzip clothing, lace up and unlace shoes.
  • Modeling from plasticine, clay, dough.
  • Cutting out pictures, cards from a magazine.

Graphic dictation - drawings by cells

An educational game that prepares the hands of a preschooler for writing, forms spatial thinking, teaches you to navigate according to the size of a sheet of paper. Often used in preparatory courses for elementary school.

There is no need to scold the child if the drawing is not immediately obtained, calmly prompt and continue on.

It is important to monitor the correct fit at the desk, sufficient lighting, the position of the hand, how the baby holds the pen.

Having received the result, rejoice with the child for his hard work. Graphic dictations are accompanied by tongue twisters, riddles, develop fine motor skills and thinking.

To complete the dictation, you need to have a notebook in a cage, a pencil and an eraser. The duration of the lesson for children under 5-6 years old should not be more than 15 minutes, from 7-8 years old up to 25 minutes. At the beginning, speak with the child the concepts of up / down, right / left.

Graphic dictation is performed in one of the following ways:

  • The preschooler is invited to draw a geometric pattern in a notebook in a box.
  • An adult pronounces a sequence of actions, indicates the direction (2 cells to the left, 4 up, 1 to the right, 2 down, and so on). The child perceives information by ear and draws. At the end of the dictation, the image in the manual is compared with what the child got.
  • Through the game, the child learns to perceive the world, develops thinking, logic, memory, attention, the child's psyche is strengthened. It should be fun, relaxed, interesting. Currently, there are free educational online games that a child will play with interest.

    At home, several options for learning programs can help you learn the basics by playing:

    • "Magic wand". A magic wand is called, for example, a felt-tip pen. Rubbing it on a woolen cloth or hair, show how static electricity works (bring it to a candy wrapper, a piece of paper, a stream of water). Let the child decide for himself what magic words need to be said in order for the "trick" to work.
    • Cut out images of animals, stick them on a piece of paper and invite the child to draw what each of them eats. A hare is a carrot, a cow is hay, and so on.
    • Talk to your child about who he sees while walking in the yard. Cut out familiar pictures from magazines of what reminds you of a walk (grandparents, swing, sandbox). Paste illustrations onto paper.
    • Make a toy forest with your child. To do this, stock up on twigs, leaves, sawdust and paint.
    • Teach polite words, greetings and goodbyes. Toys are suitable for this, let the child, playing a character in a suitable situation, say “good morning”, “good night”, “see you soon” and more.

    Psychological preparation: tests

    In order to determine the level of psychological preparation for school, it is enough to perform special tests.

    Test 1

    Ask the child to draw on a sheet of paper the school in which he will study, as he sees it. To complete the task, you will need a sheet of paper and colored pencils. The drawing is evaluated by color, plot and lines, and points are given.

    Results in points:

    • 2 - warm season, the sun is shining, the school is located in the center of the sheet, there are joyful people around, beautiful flowers, trees;
    • 0 - the school is located closer to the edge, people are sad, it is dark, the cold season;
    • 1 - the figure shows the elements of both characteristics;
    • 2 - lines are even without breaks;
    • 0 - fuzzy, weak, double, with breaks;
    • 1 - elements of both characteristics;
    • 2 - bright, light colors;
    • 0 - gloomy colors;
    • 1 - dark and light colors.

    After adding up the points, they check whether the child is ready for school:

    • 0-1 - the child is not ready for school, there will be obstacles in communicating with teachers, peers.
    • 2-4 - the child does not quite clearly understand what a school is, fears may arise that interfere with learning. Parents need to talk to the baby, find out the reason for the fear and describe the learning in a positive way.
    • 5-6 - the child is completely ready for school, do not worry about interacting with teachers and peers.

    Test 2

    The child is given 30 seconds to put dots in circles: 1 dot - 1 point. The more points, the higher the score (only those that are included in the circle are considered).

    Result:

    • less than 11 - low result:
    • 12-17- development needs more attention;
    • 18-33 - average score;
    • 34 and above - excellent development, the result is excellent.

Your child is 5-6 years old. It is time to prepare him for the first serious test in his life - admission to school. Parents have many questions that are not always easy to find answers. The books collected in this section will help answer the questions that arise and properly prepare the child for school.
Here you will find books that contain tests for children 6-7 years old. With their help, you can assess the development of the child, find out if your child is behind or ahead of their peers. Tasks are collected in the following sections: speech and speech development, fiction, preparation for literacy, development of mathematical concepts, nature, fine arts, motor skills, physical development. With the help of tests you will also be able to assess the development of attention, memory and thinking of your child.
Here you will find books that will help your child learn to read. First of all, these are primers and alphabets intended for teaching reading to preschool children. Remember that it is the older preschool age that is most favorable for the start of learning to read. In each specific book you will find detailed recommendations on how best to deal with a child.
If your child has impaired pronunciation of certain sounds, then it is best to teach him to read with the help of a special speech therapy primer. In such a primer, children first learn letters and sounds that are least likely to cause difficulties in pronunciation.
A variety of workbooks and books containing interesting and unusual tasks that your baby will be happy to perform are also used to teach and consolidate reading skills.
Development of mathematical representations also important in preparing for school. In workbooks and playbooks for children aged 5-7, you will find tasks with which the child will learn numbers, mathematical signs, geometric shapes, master the composition of numbers, quantitative and ordinal counting up to 10, learn how to add and subtract numbers within 10.
In this section you will also find various manuals. for the development of fine motor skills in older preschool children. These are fascinating graphic dictations for boys and girls, with the help of which the child will learn to navigate on a sheet of paper, will be able to develop fine motor skills, attention and perseverance. These are coloring books, in which the child not only paints objects, but also traces straight, broken and wavy lines, first by dots, and then independently. These are labyrinths in which the child draws a line from one object to another. This includes learning to write in block letters, in which the child first circles the letters, and then writes them on his own and even begins to compose them into words.
