DJ Kazimir: About passing youth and boring old age. Rollerblading grandfather and artist with a vagina on his back

Grandfather Casimir in Minsk knows if not every first, then the second. His name began to rattle in 2013, when, with 66 years of his life behind him, he stood behind the DJ console. The old man's first single, Just Wanna Be, was so good that it appeared on Shazam.

The interlocutor of Sputnik Kazimir Kazimirovich (by the way, this is not a pseudonym) and until 2013 was a non-trivial person. For many years he worked as a master of everything and everything, as he himself puts it: he was engaged in painting and applied art, including wood carving and bone carving. He is especially proud of his netsuke sculptures. Grandfather Kazimir's walking sticks, which he creates from improvised material (for example, corks from plastic bottles), are kept in several museums in Minsk. The outrageous grandfather himself became the hero of 30 documentaries until 2013. Therefore, the fact that producer Ilya Sukhomlin drew attention to him and proposed the KAZIMIR RUSSIAN DADDY project is not unusual.

Grandfather Kazimir's canes, which he creates from improvised material, are kept in several museums in Minsk

The audience accepted the unusual grandfather of the DJ immediately. His first composition, Just Wanna Be, made it to Shazam. The rest were sold on iTunes, Amazon and Juno Download. Kazimir Kazimirovich himself traveled half the world on tour.

"Take China - four times. Kazakhstan, the Baltics, Europe, Russia, the CIS, Belarus - of course. Everyone has traveled," he says.

If you find out the life story of a non-trivial grandfather, it will become clear that behind all his outrageousness there is something more than just a desire to stand out

The recipe for success was quite simple. A large team was involved in the project: professional musicians created mixes, and grandfather Kazimir had already mixed them at concerts.

But all good things come to an end. Last year, the DJ had, perhaps, the last concert. The years make themselves felt, the interlocutor explains. Plus, he is a disabled person of the second group.

"Sick, lame, deaf and without joy. And then I'm still trying to delve into the movement of the being of heaven," Kazimir Kazimirovich notes.

However, as before, grandfather Kazimir continues to shock the public with his appearance. Eye-catching clothing, jewelry and, of course, a cane. Grandfather has already become a local landmark. A group has appeared on the VKontakte social network, in which they write when and in what area they saw the old man.

Grandfather Kazimir identified himself in the manner of dressing as Santa Claus and even asked his relatives to bury him in such an outfit.

“When I moved to Minsk, I already had a beard. I was already Santa Claus. Therefore, I asked to say goodbye to the world in this way,” he notes.

Amber for pendants Grandfather Kazimir collected with his own hands in Kaliningrad

For the interlocutor, clothes are like a philosophy of life. All his jewelry, of which he has 30 pieces, he makes himself. Sometimes it takes months to get to work. Amber for the pendant, which was on him during the interview, he collected with his own hands in Kaliningrad. Then he found a technique for processing it, came up with a design: Nicholas the Wonderworker is depicted on one side of the decoration, and the Mother of God on the other.

“I always dressed like this. I should be what I am. If I left the house, it means that I entered the atmosphere of desires. I should look no worse than a tree without leaves,” the interlocutor explains.

Of course, many may think that grandfather is strange. What to hide, a lot of passers-by even twist at his temple after him. But he doesn't get mad at them.

“There are some stereotypes, in particular among young people and the same old people, they say, don’t stand out. But in some cases I just pass by. There is no pickiness among such people. They just believe in stereotypes,” notes Kazimir Kazimirovich.

By the manner of dressing, grandfather Kazimir identified himself as Santa Claus and even asked his relatives to bury him in such an outfit.

However, if you find out the life story of a non-trivial grandfather, it becomes clear that behind all his outrageousness there is something more than just a desire to stand out. Difficult childhood. He was born in the post-war camps of Magadan, where he spent his first 1.8 years of his life until his mother's term was extended, and he himself was sent to an orphanage. Already here I painted my first picture.

"With all sorts of variations, he simply delighted his life with his ability to create something," he admits.

Difficult young years. Kazimir Kazimirovich understood that he could not expect help from anyone, and all that remained for him was to fight with life. After the orphanage, he worked at heavy construction sites for gas pipelines. And then, without special education, he got a job at the House of Culture near Tobolsk, where, thanks to his intellect and erudition, he became a director and worked for 15 years.

He came to Minsk in 1990 as an accomplished master of art. But in 2010 he was given a terrible diagnosis - oncology. There were three surgeries. After the first one, grandfather Kazimir spent nine days in a serious condition in intensive care. Doctors said that with such a diagnosis, the maximum that was left for him was 10 years of life.

Then Kazimir Kazimirovich made a promise to himself that he would prolong his life, finding the opportunity to discover himself.

Let this be a short time. Coincidentally, during this period, the producer met him.

The interlocutor notes that, according to the forecasts of doctors, he has two years left. But he fights: and today, at 70, he continues to amaze the public with his appearance. Although sometimes he, like any person, becomes sad.

"I know that my days are numbered. I know that there is not much left ... It's a pity to part with life. I would like to travel by invitation," he says.

Last year, an unusual DJ had, perhaps, the last concert

Grandfather admits that he does not regret anything in his life and is going to reveal himself further.

“All this only encourages you to move. In this way, I prolong my life in my specifics, in my obligation. There is no need to be ashamed that you know how to do something. Consider yourself obliged to be the way you should be,” Sputnik’s interlocutor concluded.

“There should be more people like me. It will be more beautiful on the streets, life will be better!” - starts the conversation Kazimir Kazimirovich Karpenko or, as he is called, DJ Kazimir. Have you heard of him? Outrageous 69-year-old grandfather on the street always attracts attention. He has a painted cane, fingers in rings and rings, and an icon of the Mother of God in amber on his chest. Cowboy hat and boots, long gray beard and hair. He conquers parties in China, Kazakhstan, Russia and other countries.

Grandfather Kazimir loves different music, but his favorite song is “Get up, the country is huge”

We go with Kazimir Kazimirovich from the stop to the Press House, and people turn their heads, looking at us. Today he is wearing a brown coat, with dozens of bracelets that he made himself hanging from his hands. By the way, I started making jewelry in 1999. I got a ticket at the factory where I worked as an artist, in Kaliningrad. There in the sanatorium I saw amber for the first time. He devoted all his time to collecting it. He brought a bottle of amber to Minsk and began to think about how to drill and grind it. Why did you take it? Love for applied art appeared in childhood.

Kazimir Kazimirovich was born near Magadan. For as long as he can remember, they, babies, were transferred from orphanage to orphanage. At the age of 14, he realized that he wanted to become an artist. He recalls: “I took the work, and they took me to the Saratov School. They liked everything, and then they opened a personal file, saw where I was from, and said that they didn’t need any problems.” He was given, without asking, to factory training. Trained as a carpenter. And then life carried him along rather fast and steep waves: he lived in Tobolsk, Tyumen, the Sverdlovsk region, Zaporozhye, Leningrad and many other cities. As a result, I ended up in Minsk.

I have been and am carving. He carved a mammoth tusk, a sperm whale tooth, a walrus tusk: from this he made netsuke - miniature figures, - says Kazimirych. - He was a graphic designer, artist, photographer, director of the House of Culture and even refueled planes! He wrote poetry, and now he became a DJ. My wife, when I die, will not know from which balcony and into which dump truck all my goods - drawings and crafts - should be thrown off.

Kazimir Kazimirovich, who believes that all people should be "concrete originals", became famous in Minsk at the age of 60. A colorful grandfather walking around the city center, it would seem, did nothing special, but people decided that he was a magician. “They come up and ask what awaits them. Will they go to university? Will there be a family? And I answer: "Love yourself, and life will love you."

And others say to me: what are you, a fool? Be sedate, you are almost 70 years old! I don't understand what I should be like: a humpbacked, shabby and funny old pensioner and disabled person? I'm already retired and disabled! Why should I be sad? Grandpa gesticulates emotionally. - The fact that I am eccentric, I myself know ...

Grandfather Kazimirych talks about his move to Minsk: “I ended up here in the 90s because I fell in love with my third wife - Larisa Andreevna, whom we met in Leningrad, - he points to the ring finger of his right hand, there are four rings on it. One engagement is the first wife. The second engagement is the second wife. The “Save and Save” ring and, finally, the third engagement ring - Laura from Minsk put it on her finger. He has lived with her for 27 years. - In Minsk, all the doors were open to me. I had several personal exhibitions - photographs and paintings. I tried to break through everywhere to show my skills.

He worked as a graphic designer at a motor plant, as a photographer and artist at an electrical plant. “And then I sneezed at the factory and went into business - I sold my paintings.” Minsk captured him forever. He visits some of his children in Russia, in Ukraine. By the way, grandfather has four sons, two daughters, four grandchildren, four granddaughters and two great-grandchildren!

Even during our conversation, grandpa does not take out an earpiece from his ear, in which modern music plays. Having already performed in two hundred cities around the world as a DJ in his own years, he has a smartphone in the inside pocket of his coat. He admits: “Yes, now the young people are occupied with smartphones, laptops ... But I, too, after all.”

From Kazimirych, a disco star was made by a producer who had heard a lot about the Minsk grandfather:

When he offered me to perform on stage, I thought: I worked in the field of culture, I was once the organizer of concerts. And everything turned around. “Grandfather arrived - dressed in a hundred skins, as I say,” he hides a smile behind his sunglasses. He loves this element in the design of his outfit. He has 20 glasses, 35 canes. And a dozen New Year's staffs! - I used to play only the piano. And now on the mixer, I read my poems from the stage. But show business is like that - you play what the public orders. True, in 2010 I underwent three operations, it is more difficult to perform. But I know that people need me.

Despite his good spirits, after concerts and photo shoots, grandfather rests in a hotel. Usually, when he goes on tour to China, he works there in 25 cities. And now in Minsk there will soon be New Year's corporate parties, and then, perhaps, again to China ...

What about waiting for someone to submit? If you want money, go work. If you want to be happy - try. Here I like Daria Domracheva. She worked well - she got a family, happiness, comfort. About myself I can say that I learned everything myself. I am now a star or a crescent - I am neither hot nor cold from this. The main thing is that I am real, specific, recognizable and friendly.

Tracks by Kazimir Kazimirovich can be bought in large online stores, for example, in iTunes. And watch the clips with his participation on Youtube. Sometimes grandfather goes back in time and earns by exhibiting his paintings, selling canes. In China, they took one from him right from the stage for five thousand yuan!

Grandfather Kazimir gives a booklet with his poems as a keepsake. The students of the Institute of Culture once helped to collect the poems, they made a film and wrote a thesis about Kazimirych. - By age, you open like a wallet - you give everything away. I don't need anything, I'm leaving soon. But I still have to help my children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In Minsk, it is difficult to find a person who would not know the outrageous grandfather from Nemiga. Grandfather Kazimir surprises and pleases passers-by with his extraordinary outfits, exclusive canes and is happy to take pictures with onlookers and newlyweds. Another distinguishing feature of the future artist of the European club scene is his charisma. He constantly impromptu speaks in verse. Seven months ago, the legendary man discovered a new role in himself - grandfather Kazimir became a DJ! Onliner.by talked to him and his producer Ilya Sukhomlin about the KAZIMIR RUSSIAN DADDY project.

In an updated look - glasses, a cap, a leather jacket with spikes - it's still easy to recognize the favorite of our streets.

- What are you playing now?- the first thing we asked was when grandfather Kazimir began to take off his headphones.

- At the moment my idol is playing David Guetta. Sometimes I listen to other music, for example Stas Mikhailov. Lately more often club music accompanies me. When something new comes across, the grandchildren pump it to me. Here I have Pan Americano recorded in my player four times in a row. I stick out of it and bastard.

The producer hatched this project for four years. Paradoxically, all this time Ilya was looking for an unusual grandfather all over the post-Soviet space and exactly seven months ago he accidentally met Kazimirych in one of the hookahs in Minsk. From that day on, everything turned around.

KAZIMIR RUSSIASN DADDY has not yet been released to the public, but the first tracks are already available in 12 of the largest music stores in the world, including iTunes, Amazon and Juno Download. By the way, the first single - Just Wanna Be - is even in Shazam.

As Ilya told us, the first clip was shot by a director from New York, the cameraman and video engineer of the video was Alisa Selishcheva from Belarus. The graphics were done in Paris, and the color grading was done in New York.

The nearest plans include recording a Russian-language song with a famous Russian pop singer, where grandfather Kazimir will not only play records, but also sing.

- By the end of summer, we plan to release a song about a beard, and this will be the answer to the leader of YouTube ratings, Korean artist PSY,- the producer reveals his cards. - We focus on Western markets. Unfortunately, our local musical field does not have a commercial start, and there is no public here. The market called "showbiz" here touches me with naivety. We definitely do not plan to play for $200, because we know our worth.

Wherever I am, whether I am eating or sitting, my fingers always go to the beat of the music. Give me some drums and I'll beat out the rhythms of what's playing in my ears, one on one.

I am not an artist, but a master from birth, and my life flourished with a bouquet, loving. I simply love all my life as happiness, for this I thank my father and mother and myself.

I really won't be 66 today tomorrow. It's not 666. I'll live for centuries, but that's only when I'm gone forever. When I will be remembered not only by youth, but by generations with delight. They will see: yes, there was such an old man here and as a DJ he ran, played records, read poetry with delight.

I myself do not know how I got into this project, but I am glad that he found me. I am grateful that Ilya, the all-seeing joy, offered me a good deed. I remembered my life again with my youth. And he began to do what he had done before, when he directed in houses of culture and palaces, organized discos and voyages, so that the masses could only be warmed up with joy.

Now I'm simply not a double, but a real life I live. And for this, believe me, I am grateful to God and fate.

While I am only at the beginning of sponsorship, what should I invest when I am a pensioner. If I invested anything, then in myself through life. And I became famous for this, that 30 films about me were created, that I am this master and a real city pedestal.

I want to live, not to vegetate. Movement is my credo. From his young years he was an artist, photographer, carver, club director, organizer of discos, projectionist, head of circles and amateur performances. In recent years, everything has stopped. And then I was lucky to meet Ilya. Without a twinge of conscience and without mumbling, I said: "Yes, I want. If you want my blood circulation to become intense and not stagnate, but, on the contrary, to live and prolong my years, I am ready to risk everything.

I am an orphanage - I grew up without a father and mother. I have always liked collectivism. Now I will be among the masses that I have always loved and love. I will carry my energy and movement towards joy. The basis of my life is to observe, to carry the charge of this cheerfulness, loving that everything around me only becomes infected and lives in joy with love, because life is bestowed as a holiday for the summer.

My wife is also a pensioner [Larisa - Kazimir's third wife - approx. Onliner.by], we have been living together for a quarter of a century. When she found out about my plans and the innovations that I was offered, she said: “If it will prolong your years and you will not be a boring whiner, you will not sit in a hut in retirement and say that no one needs you, then I am 100% for it, yes.” It flattered me. She began to help me: she will gather me on trips in time, feed me, make beds, stroke, wash. He makes sure that my clothes (and I do everything myself) are always clean and well-groomed.

Touring clothes differ from my everyday ones with modern innovations, or rather, “metallic”: there are a lot of spikes, chains, crosses and shards on it. But this is the work of the producer and stylists. This glamorous-rock shocking is close to me. They made exclusive black felt boots with spikes especially for me. Nobody really has those.

I am a modern grandfather, I understand a lot, and also accept the new, loving. I live with emotions and take everything from life. That's the kind of grandpa I am. By the way, I have the official music

City madmen are the brightest and most memorable people, whose images the tourist takes with him along with the taste of the city. They confuse and annoy some, others cannot pass by without taking a picture. No city in the world is unthinkable without such "living sights", KYKY asked residents of different cities around the world about their famous freaks.

Brilliant poet from Kyiv

Cover photo: miestolegenda.wordpress.com

If you ask the inhabitants of Kyiv who they consider their most famous urban freak, you can hear a dozen different answers. Homeless people, street musicians, familiar politicians... But, perhaps, everyone will remember the poet and musician Valery Vinarsky, who sells his books on Andreevsky and reads poetry, accompanying himself on the guitar. The spiritualized gray-haired Vinyarsky gets into the list of freaks thanks to his ability to easily “pull out” a passer-by from the crowd, demand him to name any word that comes to mind and immediately read him a poem with this very word. Sometimes the poet asks the name of the interlocutor and immediately remembers the song with him.

Minsk grandfather-dj Kazimir

Glasses, a cap, a leather jacket with spikes, rings and a magic staff - a Minsker, whom everyone calls Grandfather Kazimir, walks the streets of the capital and entertains passers-by not only with his appearance, but also with cheerful conversations and poems.

About this theme: Is such a psycho - a cyclist with a bat? History from the other side

... We just got stuck, so I can say
About the whole contingent of individuals around him.
Something shy, afraid - ridiculed, slandered,
But I am an artist, and therefore this is my whole cry.
Everything that is with me is the creation of my hands,
That is, my game.

This is an amazing freak that cannot be ignored. Fortunately, Grandfather Kazimir never refuses a photo and is ready to pose for hours. And yet, a few years ago, Grandfather Kazimir became famous as a fashionable DJ!

Freak of Kharkov: the late mad scientist

The name of the late Kharkov freak is Oleg Mitasov. In the 80s of the last century, this Kharkiv resident, an impressive part of whose relatives served in the KGB, became famous for leaving inscriptions of unrelated words on the walls of houses like: “The Union is indestructible. free republics. Not on earth." Or let's say, "Lenin gave everyone an injection in the head", "Study the Russian language, not appropriate it." He could also remove the shoulder straps from the policemen, proving them wrong. They say that Oleg became crazy after he forgot his doctoral dissertation in the tram and therefore could not become a doctor of science. He died in 1999 from tuberculosis in a psychiatric clinic. Some Kharkiv residents were very sorry when Mitasov's house was renovated and all the inscriptions were painted over...

Moscow artist Alyosha Mordasha with a vagina on his back

About this theme: Waited. How girls are waiting for guys from the army in Vkontakte

Alyosha Mordasha is a Moscow freak artist who is inspired by the female genitals. Passers-by on the street are often frightened by his extraordinary appearance - from time to time Alyosha has an embroidered voluminous vagina on his back. But in the art scene, many people know him and even consider him a very smart person. Still would! The artist loves to surprise his friends with pies that look like heaps of shit, and Alyosha also has his own group called Monthly. In short, we advise everyone who liked Alyosha to somehow get to his performances in the Moscow "DK Petliura". This is great!

Pani Roza from Vilnius

Mrs. Boho, Pani Roza, Malvina, Elegant lady - no matter how they call this city madwoman, who has become a living landmark of the capital of Lithuania. It is impossible not to notice Pani Rosa. Energetic, bright, always in incredible outfits, she walks around the city and asks passers-by for some change. Some say that she is over a hundred years old, although this is rather a legend. Others claim that Pani Rosa is able to earn 200 euros per day. There is a sign among the townspeople: if you meet Malvina, something magical will certainly happen.

Restless grandfather on roller skates from Yerevan

About this theme: Test for paranoids: who are you in the world conspiracy theory

Residents of Yerevan are also not far behind in terms of freaks. Among the favorites is Levon Abgaryan, who emigrated from the United States. A handsome gray-haired man in years seems to be quite an ordinary city dweller. But look at your legs: they have roller skates! Even when Levon rides a bike!

Passers-by are attracted by the fact that grandfather rides them all day. Yerevan residents note that the old man is very rich and married to a woman who is 40 years younger than him. Rumor has it that they recently had a baby. For residents of the city, all this is more than surprising.

Black money changer from communist Warsaw

Charny's novel (Black) is a holy, but rather gloomy freak. Pale, in a black hat, Roman seems to pierce you with his eyes. He walks around Warsaw and warns passers-by about possible catastrophes: for example, that a meteorite will fall on Poland and thousands of people will die. Rumor has it that he was once a very rich man, and then he was "fooled", and he went bankrupt. Another version: during communist Poland, a man worked as a money changer, but then capitalism came, he lost all the money in the casino, and his roof went crazy.

Leader of the Party of Fools from Irkutsk

About this theme: Thirty Belarusians, about whom it is embarrassing to ask: “Who is this?”

The favorite freak of the inhabitants of Irkutsk is the artist of the Piligrim Theater studio Oleg Ermolovich, or simply Petrovich. Petrovich became famous as one of the city's first hippies, and is now known to everyone as the "wise leader of the Party of Fools", which he founded in 1995, when he "realized" that there were a lot of fools. An incredible number of people came to the first meeting, in one of the interviews Petrovich boasts that he still keeps all these three thousand applications for entry at home.

Petrovich's theatrical career began with the fact that he was expelled from the medical university, and he went to work as a stage fitter at the Irkutsk Drama Theater. During the performances, together with his colleague, Petrovich threw small carnations around the stage, which hit the actors. It was like a mosquito bite. No one could understand what was happening, and the guys quietly amused themselves. Oleg Ermolovich often comes up with absurd and funny performances, and also hosts underground events. Neither rock festivals, nor holidays of laughter and beer can do without it.

Despite his age - 67 years old - Grandfather Kazimir has many creative plans: soon he will go on tour to Kazakhstan, and then again conquer the cities of Russia, Germany, Japan, Korea and China. A living attraction and a legend of Minsk, a holiday grandfather, always a bright and original dude, a famous rhymer, and now a DJ - Kazimir Kazimirovich - in an exclusive interview with ByСard.by told everything about his beloved city and its inhabitants.

- Kazimir Kazimirovich, you are from Magadan, how did you end up in the Belarusian capital?

- It was the case. Fortunately or unfortunately, fate said: if you are lucky, do not change yourself and no one and nowhere. In the 90s I met a girl in Leningrad, she was from Minsk. Having agreed, falling in love with her at first sight, we signed in the Urals and came here. Therefore, I live and live here, believe me boldly, I create and delight my wife and myself.

- How has the city changed since you moved in?

- Significantly changed. How much has been built over the years! This is a colossal work, it is incomparable with what I saw in Russia, in my Tyumen region, the Urals and the Volga region. Minsk is changing every month for the better and better. Foreigners also testify to this. They can visit not only cafes, sports and entertainment events, but also just take a walk, have fun, relax, stay on the same European patrimony no worse than in Poland or the Baltics. Fine!

- Have you seen many cities?

- A lot. At one time, I traveled Russia far and wide. As a child, when I wandered around orphanages, then as the director of the Houses of Culture for the exchange of experience, and traveled with my children. I have traveled to Europe and Asia. For example, in China in 2013, I performed in 25 cities in one month, and this year in another 20 cities in a month. If you add it all up, it's a lot! On Belarusian soil, I was in Grodno, and Gomel, and Mogilev, Polotsk, Brest. He was on tour and just like a tourist, he often visited rest houses. Especially Polotsk and Brest left deep impressions.

- What is your favorite city?

- Of course, Minsk. A quarter of a century in it, I have not even lived in Russia so much, for me it is very conscious, acceptable, beautiful and memorable. During these years here I saw myself and showed everyone what and who I am. I took a lot from the city in order to realize my abilities in painting, bone and wood carving, applied arts and other endeavors. At the moment - DJ Kazimir - this is also the line of my city, my Minsk. And I am grateful to him. Thank you!

- What are the inhabitants of Minsk like?

- I am the same as them, but in life I advise you to be individual. The main thing in love: if you fell in love with the city or your girlfriend, if you fell in love with work, as yourself, then surrender to beauty in life and be beautiful with the city always. Be dressed up, be unusual! And here you can see a little spitty noses much more often, crying, gloomy, dissatisfied with something, but when everyone has a holiday ahead, a smile appears on the faces of the townspeople. This is amazing!

- What can you say about Minsk youth?

- Well, youth... It is always unpredictable and extraordinary, just like my sons, daughters, grandchildren. Everything can be expected from them, the main thing is to keep them in tight rein. Sorry, but yes. Don't let them loose! Try to suggest the realities of life, so that they vegetate their hours and months not on the phone or on the computer ... The kids even forget how to dress, go out in public. But youth and beauty should come from them. Let them not follow the French or Italian fashion, but you need to show yourself beautifully and live beautifully! Now, I see, many stick out in phones and computers. This is alarming, do they really need nothing more? And they also hit curbs with skateboards or jump on bicycles, break their ribs. Yes, extreme sports are needed, but not to the same extent ... From their passages, take the Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater, the marble on the step broke off, the curb was broken, is that good? And when they take a felt-tip pen or a "sprynkalka" which they write, even if not vulgar words, they write on the facade. Were they really born in order not to take care of their city, not to keep it clean, but only to walk and break, trample, draw? It's bad, I don't like it... I wouldn't want them to be extreme in vain, wherever they get, to do whatever they want and spoil the beauty that was created for their soul.

- In your opinion, are there enough entertainment facilities in Minsk?

Enough. Apart from stadiums, cafes, cinemas. But for some reason, young people find the whole complex of their pleasure on the Internet, spend their leisure time there. I want people to be distracted and devote time to their physical and intellectual development.

- What will Grandfather Kazimir advise the guests of the capital to see?

- The upper city is a must, Nemiga, museums, Komarovsky market and much, much more. I like the extraordinary sculptural compositions that appear, it complements the beauty of the city. In general, you just need to walk around the city and find your significant places in it.

- Did you communicate with foreigners during the Ice Hockey World Championship?

- I communicated with foreigners, but not so much with them as they with me, since I always looked exclusive. Of course, I'm like a tulip in the garden, among all the flowers. It's flattering to me. We talked, everyone was happy, took pictures, shook hands, made new appointments. I am glad that they came, smiled and looked at our city, me. The organization was at the highest level, but it's like in a war: who is at war, who is different ... And here, some were waiting for sports, others only for profit. Where foreigners were deceived - I saw it, where big money was ripped off, rude - I also had to observe. It's not pretty, but it was. In general, I think the guests left satisfied, they noticed the hospitality and beauty of our city.

- You often walk around the city, and what are your favorite places?

- Say what and where? It's unrealistic. There are very, very many places where it is unusual, magnificent, where there is a shade and the sun, fountains, quiet streets, trees, benches. There are a lot of such places, especially near Svisloch, reservoirs and canals that run throughout the city. I love the city center where there are a lot of people, for example, Lenin Street, but the only thing I don’t like is the benches: they sank, in the middle of each there should be a squeeze ...

- Grandfather Casimir can be found in theaters, cinemas?

- No, I forgot the cinemas when I visited. Actually, a long time ago. And he went to theaters when he met his wife Larisa. And now, I myself am a theater, a walking exhibition, a real actor. I do not ignore the theater, but there is simply no time, the artist himself, he has to tour a lot, prepare for performances.

- Do you often go to cafes?

- As needed, with pleasure. There are many of these establishments, and each has its own nostalgic mood. I love outdoor cafes, where you can show yourself and see people. But it happens that you sit down just to drink coffee, and people begin to pester: take pictures, climb to talk, some ask to make a wish, wish, because they see a magician in me. I can't list my favorite cafes, because people will read - and they will fish for me. Sometimes, you know, you want solitude, to be with yourself ...

- Probably, this is the reverse side of popularity ...

- Yes, but the country must know the heroes, if someone likes me, if my words reach someone, from my quatrains they take a line for life, their individual "I", why not ?! And photos, stories about me, and there are many of them, let them be. The main thing is not to climb into the soul too intrusively, so that everything happens at the right time, at the right time, and when Grandfather does not interfere.

- By the way, does Grandfather Kazimir use the Internet, is he registered in social networks?

- I have phones, and a tablet, and the children have a computer, but for the Internet ... I still can’t figure it out with my intellect. And if I ever get it wrong, I am convinced that it is impossible to get out of it. It takes a lot of time: you go in for 5 minutes, and you lose 2 hours! It just clutters up the brains, and therefore I didn’t just refuse, I just don’t see anything new in it for myself.

- What would you build in Minsk?

- I would make more pedestrian streets where there were not a single car on the weekend! Here Karl Marx Street used to be pedestrian - it was wonderful! And now? .. To keep the Upper City free from cars. And in rainy weather, so that the roof is stretched. In China, for example, everything is done for the people. You get up there in the morning, and the square is filled with people, someone sings songs, someone does fitness, music plays. I was stunned! They eat together on the grass... If we had such recreation areas, I think not only I would say thank you. To have more places for communication, meetings. And if you make long benches, then there must be support under them so that they do not bend.

At the end of the conversation, Kazimir Kazimirovich wished the residents of Minsk "Love the city, don't destroy it, don't write or paint on walls, don't damage curbs and steps, show your biceps on bicycles and skateboards only in designated places...".
