The concept of the museum involves theatrical excursions with fairy tale characters, which introduce children to classic Russian folk tales in a fun way. At the same time, not only guides, but also the spectators themselves put on fairy-tale characters.
The House of Fairy Tales also has its own museum collection, which contains more than 400 items: household items, costumes of various fairy-tale characters, dolls, books and much more. It is noteworthy that almost all museum items are used in excursions by both presenters and children.
The museum has been awarded various government diplomas, has Russian and foreign diplomas, and has repeatedly won grants for its activities. The museum is designed for children from 3 to 12 years old. At the same time, excursions for the smallest children aged 3 to 6 years are carried out only together with adults.
