Technology "Children - Volunteers" as a means

effective socialization of preschool children

What is the biggest purpose of life? I think: to increase the good in those around us. And good is, first of all, the happiness of all people. It is made up of many things, and every time life sets a task for a person that needs to be able to solve. You can do good to a person in small things, you can think about big things, but small things and big things cannot be separated. Much, as I have already said, begins with trifles, is born in childhood and in the close ... D.S. Likhachev

Now there is a lot of talk about the fact that the younger generation shows negative attitudes towards each other. Therefore, the task of teachers is to direct their efforts for the successful socialization of the child and his social and personal development.

Socialization- it is the formation of the individual in the process of assimilation of knowledge, values and norms of socialist society.Unlike other living beings, whose behavior is biologically conditioned, man as a biosocial being needs the process of socialization..

From the very first days of life, a child is a social being, since his needs cannot be satisfied without the help and participation of another person.

Today's children live and develop in completely different socio-cultural conditions than their peers 20 years ago. Employment of parents, generation gap, technologization of children's subculture, lack of "yard" socialization, isolation of the child in the family and other trends negatively affect socialization modern children. Increased aggressiveness, lack of humane forms of behavior, alienation, isolation bring to the fore the task of socializing children.

The task can be solved with the simultaneous implementation of such conditions as the creation of a favorable socio-cultural development environment, a flexible combination different forms and methods of working with children, taking into account their capabilities and developmental characteristics, close cooperation between group teachers, specialists and parents

In our preschool educational institution socialization of pupils begins with work in groups of short stay. Children visit these groups together with their parents, who are included in the creative and pedagogical process. It is here that the first experience of communication and interaction between children is acquired through observation and imitation, primarily to their parents.

However, realizing the importance of the process of socialization of children, we decided to expand our activities in this direction and began to introduce new pedagogical technologies effective socialization of the child in preschool educational organization, authored by senior Researcher Institute of Sociology RAS Grishaeva N.P.

Despite the fact that the technology "Children - Volunteers" surprisingly easy to use has long been included in work with preschoolers, its implementation has previously been episodic, since we did not see what the advantages of this approach could be. However, with the introduction of the Federal State Educational Standard, (p. 2.6.) "The formation of independence, purposefulness and self-regulation of one's own actions" - one of the tasks of the child's social and communicative development, it was necessary to reconsider the approach to organizing the conditions for the development of a child - a preschooler.

At first school year older children noticed that kids do not always go to kindergarten with a desire, they began to ask questions: “Why do babies cry? Why don't they want to go to kindergarten? Do they cry because they don't know how to dress? How can we help them love kindergarten?” and etc.

So came pedagogical idea in the organization of the volunteer movement in preschool educational institutions. Volunteer activity (from lat.Voluntarius - voluntarily) is wide circle activities, including traditional forms mutual assistance and self-help, formal provision of services and other forms of civil participation which is carried out voluntarily for the benefit of the general public without the expectation of a monetary reward.

Volunteers, in terms of the law Russian Federation - individuals implementing charitable activities in the form of gratuitous performance of work, provision of services (voluntary activity). Volunteer work unites people in the only aspiration - the desire to do good.

In cooperation with a team of teachers of groups of younger and older preschool age, the project "Children - volunteers as a means of effective socialization of a preschool child" was developed and presented at the pedagogical council.

Pedagogical technology "Children Volunteers" helps us to solve the following tasks:

development of communication skills in a team of different ages;

development of independence and responsibility, especially in younger children;

creation of such a situation of development in which the formation of gaming activity and the transfer of gaming experience takes place in natural environment, and not by order and story of the educator.

Children quickly adapted to the created conditions.

The children interacted with:

volunteer children took the initiative in caring for the kids, and the kids were grateful for help and signs of attention;

the children had the experience of politely expressing their requests, words of gratitude sounded;

toddlers have significantly increased their vocabulary, which allowed them to independently find different ways of communicating with older children and adults;

volunteer children actively helped their wards in all regime moments during the day. Thus, they received excellent opportunity feel grown up and needed;

in various joint actions, children learned to resolve controversial issues, resolve conflicts, in the game they exchanged experience and emotional communication;

many children began to enjoy the right of independent choice, which they lack in Everyday life;

teachers encouraged children to share varied experiences with adults and other children. To do this, "Reflexive circles" were held, with the help of which the child could express his opinion, answer the questions of the teacher-psychologist.

Intergroup interaction, according to our observations, mutually enriched: the younger ones advanced in their development, and the older ones were given the opportunity to be a role model. For older children, playing with kids is a lesson in responsibility, the first serious business that he manages.

An analysis of the work carried out and circles of reflection showed that older boys were less actively involved in the "Volunteer Children" technology, since in connection with psychological features boys are more conservative than girls. Children who have younger siblings used their personal experience received in the family, which helped them to get involved in the proposed situation.The only children in the family more often turned to adults for help or took the position of an observer.

Despite the above, we believe that the work on the introduction of technology has shown a positive trend in the formation and development of self-regulation of behavior, independence, initiative and responsibility, as well as emotional satisfaction in children. After visiting junior group the children came satisfied that they helped, worked, played with the kids like adults, taking care of them. Coming to the group and telling where they were, what they did, they gradually aroused the interest and desire of other children to try, and then they also actively joined the volunteer movement.

D. S. Likhachev in his book “Letters about the Good and the Beautiful” wrote: “Gradually, children become objects of ever higher care and they themselves begin to show real and wide care - not only about the family, but also about the school where parental care has placed them , about their village, city and country... Care is expanding and becoming more and more altruistic. Children pay for taking care of themselves by taking care of their old parents, when they can no longer repay the care of their children. And this concern for the elderly, and then for the memory of deceased parents, as it were, merges with concern for historical memory family and country in general. If care is directed only at oneself, then an egoist grows up.

Based on this, we can conclude that the organization of the activities of the volunteer movement in kindergarten is a unique opportunity to influence the formation of qualities necessary not only for successful adaptation and learning at school, but also for life in modern society.

The teaching staff has outlined the following activities to introduce the technology "Children - Volunteers" in our preschool:

1. Creation of a brigade of volunteers-parents.

2. Inclusion in technology junior schoolchildren for the purpose of continuity of various levels of education.

3. Together with a psychologist, conducting trainings to increase self-esteem and improve interpersonal relationships in children's and pedagogical teams.

I would like to finish the article with the words of D.S. Likhachev: “A surprisingly correct thought: “A small step for a person, a big step for humanity.”

Socialization is the process by which a child acquires the skills necessary to full life in society. Unlike other living beings, whose behavior is biologically conditioned, man, as a biosocial being, needs the process of socialization.

In our preschool department, the socialization of pupils begins with work in short-stay groups. Children visit these groups together with their parents, who are included in the creative and pedagogical process. It is here that the first experience of communication and interaction between children is acquired through observation and imitation, primarily to their parents.

This work is carried out in the following areas:

However, realizing the importance of the process of children's socialization, we decided to expand our activities in this direction and take part in the work of the internship site of the OIP "Modern technologies for the effective socialization of a child in an educational complex based on Gymnasium No. 1534". Technology author. n. researcher of the Institute of Sociology of the Russian Academy of Sciences Grishaeva N.P. Work began in October 2014.

The principle of work of the internship site is the introduction of new pedagogical technologies. The rules of the internship site allow you to independently choose any technology that is most relevant in this moment in OO. Since the window frames were being replaced in the preschool department in December, it became necessary to unite the children in groups of different ages. It became possible to use this situation in order to introduce the "Children-Volunteers" technology to solve the problems of children's socialization.

A lot of work, regularly carried out with parents in a preschool institution, allowed us to turn to the parent community with a proposal to connect different age groups to develop social skills in children. In response, we received unanimous consent and genuine interest from the parents.

In this regard, December 2014 was declared the month of the introduction of the "Children-Volunteers" technology, since this form of socialization turned out to be the most relevant at the moment.

Volunteering (from Lat. Voluntarius - voluntarily) is a wide range of activities, including traditional forms of mutual assistance and self-help, official provision of services and other forms of civic participation, which is carried out voluntarily for the benefit of the general public without the expectation of monetary reward.

Volunteers, from the point of view of the law of the Russian Federation, are individuals who carry out charitable activities in the form of gratuitous performance of work, provision of services (volunteer activities). Volunteer work unites people in the only aspiration - the desire to do good.

Children of all ages quickly adapted to the conditions.

The children interacted with:

  • in various joint actions: children learned to resolve controversial issues and resolve conflicts, during the game there was an exchange of experience and emotional communication of children;
  • friendly relations between children were noted different ages respect for others; (photo 1)
  • volunteer children showed initiative in caring for the younger ones, and the kids were grateful for help and signs of attention; (photo 2)
  • the children had the experience of politely expressing their requests, words of gratitude sounded more often;
  • in younger children, there was an increase vocabulary which allowed them to independently find different ways of communicating with older children; (photo 3)
  • many children began to enjoy the right of independent choice, which they lack so much in everyday life;
  • children - volunteers actively helped the younger ones in all regime moments during the day. Thus, they got an excellent opportunity to feel like adults and needed, which is what many people normally strive for at the age of 6-7 years, but as a rule they do not get such an experience;
  • teachers encouraged the child's attempts to consciously share various impressions with the teacher and other children. To do this, “Circles of reflection” were held daily, with the help of which each volunteer child could express an opinion and answer the questions of a psychologist.

After analyzing the children's survey, teachers adjusted their work: in the classroom and in everyday life, educators began to more often encourage the child's attempts to independently make choices, to seek various solutions exit from conflict situations. They began to support the initiative of children in planning independent activity. Conversations were held with parents: “What is independence?”, “Can a child be independent?”, “What can my child do?”

Also, the survey was held among the teachers - participants of this action.

The following questions were asked

The analysis of the work done and the circles of reflection showed that older boys were less actively involved in the "Children-Volunteers" technology, since, due to psychological characteristics, boys are more conservative than girls. Children who have younger brothers and sisters, at the beginning of the situation of the month, used their personal experience gained in the family, which helped them to get involved in the proposed situation. The only children in the family more often turned to adults for help or took the position of an observer.

In the process of conducting one of the “Circles of reflection”, older children volunteers offered to show the younger children theatrical production which, of course, delighted the little ones.

In this "Situation of the Month" joint creative workshops were repeatedly held with the participation of not only teachers and pupils of preschool educational institutions, but also their parents.

At the end of the situation of the month, leisure time “Our friendly family” was organized for children.

Obviously, children participating in similar types activities, acquire life experience and experiences necessary for self-determination and self-regulation, which contributes to their successful socialization.

We have planned the following activities to introduce the "Volunteer Children" technology in our educational complex:
1. Creation of a brigade of volunteers from parents and older pupils
2. Inclusion of junior schoolchildren into the “Children-Volunteers” technology for the purpose of continuity of various levels of education.
3. Conducting trainings to increase self-esteem and improve interpersonal relations in children's and pedagogical teams.

"Club hour as an effective technology

positive socialization of preschoolers"

Churkina Anna Innokentievna,

educator MDOU No. 14,

Cheremkhovo, Irkutsk region

One of the most important tasks of the preschool period is the socialization of the child and its most important part - development of communication skills that is, the ability to communicate with peers and adults.

The need for communication is one of the most important human needs. Relationships with other people are born and develop intensively in childhood. Without full communication the child will not be able to socially adapt in society, it will also affect the intellectual development and formation of the personality as a whole.

This problem is of particular importance at the present time, when the moral and communicative development of children causes serious concern. It's no secret to anyone that best friend For modern child is a TV or computer, and favorite hobby- watching cartoons computer games. Children began to communicate less not only with adults, but also with each other. But living human communication significantly enriches the lives of children, paints bright colors the scope of their feelings.

Communication with peers occupies an important place in the life of a child: the rate of development of the child, his self-awareness and self-esteem, attitude towards other people depend on how successfully it develops. In communicating with peers, he learns to build relationships according to certain rules. Be aware of yourself as a subject in the system of social relations.

Thus, formation of communicative competence preschool child is topical issue modern preschool pedagogy.

To solve this problem, we decided to introduce in our kindergarten such new technology like Club Hour.

"Club Hour" is a special modern technology for the development of a child's personality. The pedagogical technology lies in the fact that children can freely communicate with each other for one hour and move around the kindergarten observing certain rules of behavior, and return to the group by the ringing of a bell.

Main goals"Club hour" are:

Can be distinguished the following types of "Club hour":

free. Children move freely throughout the entire territory of the kindergarten (indoors or outdoors) and independently organize communication of different ages according to interests without the help of adults;

thematic. In this case, "Club Hours" is included in the situation of the month.

activity. This type of "Club Hour" is based on the self-determination of the child in the choice of various activities.

creative. The children of the preschool group themselves organize all the activities at the "Club Hour" for all children.

To conduct a club hour, educators and specialists preliminarily discuss and determine:

1) The theme of "Club Hours" is promising thematic plan for half a year. This is necessary as Club Hour can be held at various forms: as an educational activity in the morning hours, as an activity in interest groups in evening time, as one of the forms of organizing a walk or spending leisure time.

2) The frequency and duration of the Club Hour. The activities usually take place once a week at the beginning of the program and 2-3 times a week thereafter. One of the main conditions for holding the "Club Hour" is its duration, namely at least 1 hour, because otherwise the children do not have time to gain their own life experience;

3) Rules for the behavior of children during the "Club Hour":

- "Say "hello" and "goodbye" when you enter another group";

- “If you took a toy to play, put it back when you leave”;

- "Do not take away toys from other children if they took it first";

- “Help conduct the class if it takes place during the “Club Hour”;

- "Speak calmly";

- "Walk calmly";

- "Return to the group at the signal of the call";

- “If you don’t want to go to other groups, then you can stay in your group or return to it if you are tired”;

4) organizational issues"Club Hour". All employees of the kindergarten are warned about the day and time of the event. The event goes like this. close up entrance doors to the garden. Employees are at their workplaces and go about their current affairs, waiting for the arrival of children. If possible, they communicate with guests, show, talk about their activities. Children are also encouraged to help employees with their work. To do this, prepare in advance different kinds activities for visiting children. At the end of the Club Hour, the person in charge passes through all floors (groups), for example, with a bell, giving a signal that it is time to return to the groups;

5) organizational aspects of the Club Hour. The preschool team determines how many groups and which groups will participate in the first event, how to prepare children for the first "Club Hour".

With older children and preparatory group Preliminary work is also underway:

1) a discussion is organized during which older preschoolers find out what “Club Hour” is and why, what they will do during this event and who would like to go to it;

2) it is discussed which groups are in the kindergarten, the age of the children in these groups and on which floor (wing) they are located;

3) explain what kind of premises there are in the kindergarten, what they are called, who works there, what they do and what benefits they bring;

4) a plan (map) is issued showing what is happening and where, depending on what type of Club Hour is planned - thematic, activity or creative;

5) penalties are established for non-compliance with the rules.
Just before Club Hour, the children discuss all the rules. A plan-map is kept, each child plans where he wants to go. Instructions are given: “Children, you can move around the entire building for one hour, observing the rules of conduct. And at the ringing of the bell you return to the group.

6) after the end of the "Club Hour", all the children-participants, each in their own group, with the teacher, sit in a circle on the carpet, a discussion begins - a reflective circle. The teacher makes sure that the children do not interrupt each other and patiently wait for their turn to speak.

The following questions are discussed:

- Where was the child?

— What do you remember?

Do you want to go there again and why?

— Did you plan to go somewhere before Club Hour? Have you been able to do it, and if not, why not?

Did you manage to follow the rules, if not, why not?
The teacher fixes the problems that arise in children during the "Club Hour" and discusses them with children and parents (at the right time), finding ways to solve them in joint activities.

7) after each event at the pedagogical council, educators, teachers and employees exchange views on:

- what did the children do when they came to its territory, what was special in the behavior of children;

- how did the children who remained in their group react when guests came to them (question for educators);

- did the children follow the rules, and what prevented them from following them, were there any conflicts;

- what tasks need to be solved at the next Club Hour.

As noted, during the event, children can freely move around the entire building of the kindergarten (“go where you want, do what you want”). At the same time, at the initial stage of the "Club Hour" for children, it is desirable organize a variety of activities art studio, music club, to make free entry to the gym, to the accounting department, to the nurse, to the kitchen, and not only to look, but also to do something interesting. And for safety, nannies can constantly “clean up” on the stairs and in the corridors, without interfering in the movements of the children, without making comments, but quietly looking at them. First children are not guests, but the owners of the kindergarten. As from a locked cage, they get out of the group room. Having escaped from under vigilant guardianship, children very quickly acquire the ability to independently find a job for themselves and bring it to the end. They easily learn what an hour is ... and plan how best to spend it.

"Club Hour" proved: five- and six-year-olds are not only able to take advantage of the freedom provided, but are also able to draw certain conclusions.
