Games for school New Year's party. New Year's party games

These games can be used at a matinee in kindergarten and at home, with friends.

What are the Christmas trees?
The host (he can be dressed in a Santa Claus or Snow Maiden costume) says:
- For the New Year, we dressed up the Christmas tree with beautiful toys and garlands. Where do the trees grow? That's right, in the forest. Christmas trees in the forest are different - thin and wide, low and high.
The facilitator explains the rules of the competition:
- Stand in a circle and hold hands. I will tell you what Christmas trees are. If I say "high", you should put your hands up. If "low" - sit down and lower your hands. If “wide”, then you need to make the circles wider. And if I say "thin", you should make the circle narrower. Does everyone understand? One, two, three, start!
The leader gives commands, gradually accelerating the pace and trying to confuse the players. You can turn on soft, but rhythmic music in the background for competitions.
Catch a snowball
For this competition, you need to divide the children into pairs. One player from each pair should be given a large empty bag, which he must keep open. The second player gets some paper snowballs. Players stand opposite each other (the distance must be the same for all pairs). At the signal of the leader, the players who were given paper snowballs begin to throw them into the partner’s bag, whose task is to catch as many snowballs as possible. The winner is the pair that caught the most snowballs in a given time.
If there are many players, you can divide the pairs into two teams. Then the team with the largest total of snowballs caught by all pairs wins.
Fox and rattles
The host puts on a fox costume. Each player is given a rattle in their hands. Cheerful rhythmic music turns on and the children scatter away from the fox. When the music stops, they must quickly hide the rattles behind their backs. The fox starts looking for rattles. She approaches the players in turn and asks to show her first one hand, and then the second. The children need to shift the rattle behind their backs from one hand to the other so that it does not make noise, and Lisa makes sure that the player does not have a rattle. If he failed to do it silently, he is eliminated from the competition. The game continues until one or more players remain who have never “given” a rattle to the Fox.
Instead of the Fox, there can be any other New Year's character. This game is best played in a spacious room or with a small number of players.
Santa Claus is coming
This game is not only fun - it also helps children develop memory. First you need to learn a simple quatrain with them:
Santa Claus is coming, coming to us,
Santa Claus is coming to us.
And we know that Santa Claus
Brings us gifts.
First you need to repeat it in chorus all together several times so that all the children remember the text well, and then you can start playing. Some words from the rhyme are replaced in turn by gestures and movements. For example, first the words “we” and “us” are removed from the poem, instead the players must point to themselves. It turns out like this:
Goes, goes to (point to themselves) Santa Claus,
To (point to themselves) Santa Claus is coming.
And we know (point to themselves) that Santa Claus
Gifts (point to themselves) carries.
When children manage to tell a poem with this gesture without getting lost, you can replace the word “Santa Claus” with a gesture pointing to the door, then the word “goes” - walking in place. On the word "know" you need to put your index finger to your forehead, and on the word "gifts" with a gesture to depict a large bag of gifts. So gradually there are less and less words, and more and more gestures and movements, and each time it becomes more and more difficult not to stray. When the children read the quatrain for the last time, only the verb “will bring” and prepositions will remain from the words.

Snowball
Standing in a circle, to cheerful music, children pass a specially prepared "snowball" - made of cotton wool, or white fabric. Words are spoken:
Snowball we all roll,
We all count to five
One two three four five -
You sing a song.
Or:
And you read poetry.
Or:
You dance to dance.
Or:
You have to guess a riddle...
Whoever has a lump on the last word, that child completes the task (tells a poem, makes a riddle, performs a verse of a song or performs a dance movement, etc.)

Smeshinka
Each player gets some name, say, a cracker, a lollipop, an icicle, a garland, a needle, a flashlight, a snowdrift ...
The driver goes around everyone in a circle and asks various questions:
- Who are you?
- Flapper.
- What holiday is today?
- Lollipop.
- And what is it with you (pointing to the nose)?
- Icicle.
- And what drips from the icicle?
- Garland...
Each participant must answer any questions with their "name", while the "name" can be inflected accordingly. Questioners should not laugh. Whoever laughs is out of the game.

Christmas decorations
We will play an interesting game with the guys:
What we decorate the Christmas tree with, I will name the kids.
Listen carefully, and be sure to answer,
If we tell you right, say "Yes" in response.
Well, if suddenly - wrong, say boldly "No!"
- Multi-colored crackers?
- Blankets and pillows?
- Folding beds and cribs?
- Marmalade, chocolates?
- Glass balls?
- Wooden chairs?
- Teddy bears?
- Primers and books?
- Are the beads multi-colored?
- Are the garlands bright?
- Snow from white cotton wool?
- Backpacks and briefcases?
- Shoes and boots?

Children add the appropriate words:

It's snowing outside,
Holiday coming soon...
-New Year!
Softly glowing needles
The coniferous spirit is coming...
-From the Christmas tree!
The branches gently rustle
Beads are bright..
- Shine!
And the toys swing
Flags, stars...

Threads of colorful tinsel,
Bells...

Fish fragile figurines,
Birds, skiers...

White-bearded and red-nosed
Under the branches of Grandfather...

And, decorating the top,
There it shines, as always,
Very bright, big
Five-winged...
-Star!
Well, the tree, just a miracle!
How pretty, how...
-Beautiful!
Here the fires were lit on her,
Hundreds of tiny...

Congratulations on...
-New Year!
With new happiness...
-Everyone!

Merry round dance

In the forest near the Christmas tree on New Year's Eve there is a cheerful round dance
Sitting firmly on the bough, the rooster cries:
All: Ku-ka-re-ku.
- And each time in response to him, the cow lows:
All: Moo, moo, moo.
- I wanted to say "bravo" to the singers, but only the cat came out:
All: Meow.
- Do not make out the words in any way, the frogs say:
All: Kwa-kva-kva.
-And the bullfinch whispers something funny pig:
All: Oink-oink-oink.
And smiling to himself, the goat sang:
All: Be-be-be.
-Who the hell is that? The cuckoo called out:
All: Ku-ku.

dress up the Christmas tree

Christmas trees are drawn on large sheets of paper (according to the number of teams). "Decorations" are laid out on the table: drawings cut out of paper (along the contour) with glued pieces of adhesive tape (to stick on the Christmas tree). Among the drawings there are both Christmas decorations and "foreign objects": dishes, clothes and shoes, etc. Blindfolded players select jewelry by touch. The team that hangs more "correct" decorations on the Christmas tree in the allotted time wins.

New Year's breeze

To conduct this competition, you will need a table or any flat surface. In the middle you need to lay a line - you can use bright tape or ordinary thick threads for knitting. Two children squat down on both sides of the table. In the middle, where the line is drawn, a small cotton "snowball" is placed.
The task is to "blow" the snowball to the side of the opponent.
This competition for the New Year in kindergarten can be complicated: arrange a real snowstorm on half of each of the participants. The task in this case is to ensure that as soon as possible "blow" all the snowballs on half of the enemy.
move to the opponent's side).

Cheerful snowman

For this competition for the New Year in kindergarten, two easels will be required. Drawings with the image of a circle in the middle are pinned to the easels. Two children are blindfolded and they must draw eyes, a nose and a smile with a thick felt-tip pen.
Making a snowman
For this competition for the New Year in kindergarten, easels will again be required, to which drawing paper is pinned.
Children are divided into two teams. On the chairs in front of the teams are the "component" parts of the snowman: three white circles of different sizes, arms, legs, eyes and mouth made of thick paper, a carrot. There is glue on the easel.
Players from each team take a large circle, run to the easel, smear the circle with glue and stick it to the paper.
The next player takes the middle circle and so on.
Relay race "On snowdrifts"

Children are divided into two teams. In front of the teams are two circles of whatman paper or two white rugs. The representative of the team must, standing on one circle, take another and put it in front of him - stand on it. The actions are repeated until the child gets through the snowdrifts to the chair. You need to get back to the team in the same way.
snow fights
Children are divided into two teams.
A line is drawn on the floor. Teams line up on either side of the line. For this competition for the New Year in kindergarten, you will need cotton balls the size of a tennis ball. Teams are distributed "snowballs" equally. The snow fight begins to the music. As soon as the music ends, the children count up which half of the team had fewer snowballs. This team is winning.
Relay "Skier"
Children are divided into two teams.
Children wear small children's plastic skis. They need to get to the chair, run around it, and, returning, pass the skis to the next player. The team that finishes the competition first is considered the winner.
Relay "Garland"
Children are divided into two teams.
A bag with tinsel of different colors and textures is placed in front of the players. Each bag contains two halves.
The task is to get the tinsel and put the same pieces.
The team that finds the halves the fastest wins.
Don't wake up the bear

A bear is chosen among the players, he “sleeps in a den”, the rest of the children are bunnies, they run, jump and make noise to the music. As soon as the music ends, the bear wakes up and with a growl rushes after the hares - they must hide in the houses - hoops lying on the floor.
catch the fox

All children, except for two, are hungry chanterelles; a long scarf is attached to the belt of their trousers or skirts, hanging with the free end down. In winter, there is little food, and the chanterelles decide to sneak into the village to steal the hen. But the chicken coop is guarded by dogs (two or more, depending on the number of foxes). Noticing the foxes, the dogs give chase, they need to grab the fox by the tail scarf and pull it out from behind the belt. The chanterelle, whose tail was "torn off", sits on a bench. Then the players switch roles.
The game is played with cheerful music: as soon as the music stops, the foxes run into the forest, and the dogs can no longer catch them.
Who is faster?

Children are divided into 2 teams (for example, squirrels and snowmen). Cones and snowflakes are scattered on the floor. Each team, to the music, collects items in a bag or basket. Squirrels - cones, snowmen - snowflakes.
The team that collects their items faster without errors wins.
Relay race "Helpers of Santa Claus"

In the new year, Santa Claus has a lot to do, he needs to prepare a million gifts. Of course, grandfather needs help.
Children are divided into two teams. Each team lines up in a chain between two chairs. On command, the children begin to take gifts from the basket on the first chair and pass them along the chain to the bag on the second chair.
The team that completes the task faster wins.
treasure hunt
There are white circles or rugs on the floor. To the music, the children run around the hall and raise circles. Hidden under some of the circles are New Year's paper balls with tied strings (it's best if the children make these balls with the teacher in the group in advance). Balls can decorate the Christmas tree in the hall.

Christmas garland
Children are divided into two teams.
The first players of the teams, on a signal, run forward, run around the chair and return to the team. Then they take the second players by the hand and complete the task together, then three of them, and so on until all the players run around the chair in a long “garland” and return to the start.
Carry in a bag
A bag is placed in front of the Christmas tree (it is partitioned into 2 parts, one of them has no bottom). Santa Claus calls children who want to ride in a bag. He puts the child in a bag and carries him around the Christmas tree. He puts another child in that part of the bag where there is no bottom. Santa Claus walks around the Christmas tree, and the child remains in place. Santa Claus returns and is "surprised". The game is repeated.

Felt boots.
Large boots are placed in front of the Christmas tree. Two children are playing. On a signal, they run around the Christmas tree from different sides. The winner is the one who runs around the Christmas tree faster and puts on boots.

draw the sun
Teams take part in this relay game, each of which lines up in a column "one at a time". At the start, in front of each team, there are gymnastic sticks according to the number of players. In front of each team, at a distance of 5-7 meters, put a hoop. The task of the relay race participants is to alternately, on a signal, running out with sticks, spread them out in rays around their hoop - "draw the sun." Santa Claus commands: to the start, attention, march! and... The team that completes the task faster wins.

Father Frost
Santa Claus, chosen according to the counting rhyme, stands in the center of the circle outlined in the snow. The rest of the players, holding hands, dance around him, saying:
Santa Claus, Santa Claus
Overgrown through the oak
Overgrown through the oak
Rolled up a cart of gifts:
Frosts crackling,
snow loose,
The winds are swirling,
Blizzards are friendly.
Cold-cold let loose,
He built a bridge on the river.
After these words, the players scatter, and Santa Claus catches them. Whoever he catches is considered "frozen": he stands motionless in the center of the circle. Players can "freeze" him by throwing a snowball. Frostbite must catch a snowball and try to hit Santa Claus with it. Got - free.

Santa's gifts
There are three teams of 5-6 people - mothers, fathers, children. Their task is to illustrate the presenter's story.
"On New Year's Eve, Santa Claus brings gifts to the family. He gave dad a comb. Let everyone show with their right hand how dad combs his hair. He gave his son skis. Please show me how your son goes skiing, but do not stop combing. (In the future each new movement is added to the previous one.) He gave his mother a meat grinder - you need to depict the rotation of the meat grinder with your left hand. He gave his daughter a doll that flaps her eyelashes and says "mom". And he gave his grandmother a Chinese idol that shakes his head. "
those who manage to show all the given movements without losing their way win.

Two Frosts
A group of guys is located at one end of the hall (room) beyond the conditional line. Drivers - Frosts - are in the middle of the hall. They turn to the guys with the words:
- We are two young brothers, (Together): Two frosts are remote.
“I am Red Nose Frost.
“I am Blue Nose Frost.
Which one of you decides
To go on a path?
Everyone answers:
We are not afraid of threats, and we are not afraid of frost!
The players run to the other side of the hall behind the "home" line. Both Frosts catch and "freeze" those who run across. Those immediately stop at the place where they were "frozen". Then the Frosts again turn to the players, and they, having answered, run across the hall, helping out the "frozen" ones: they touch them with their hands, and they join the others.

Games

Christmas trees and bushes

Children stand in a line opposite the leader or in a circle around him. The host pronounces the words "Christmas trees" or "Bushes". Children should sit down on the word "Bushes", and stand up on the word "Christmas Trees". The host plays with the children and can confuse them: sit down when he says the word "Christmas Trees", and get up when the word is "Bushes". Gradually, the pace of the game must be increased.

If you play with prizes, then the children who performed the movement incorrectly or late are out of the game.

freeze

Children stand in a circle, put their hands forward. Santa Claus runs inside the circle and tries to touch the children's hands. When Santa Claus tries to "freeze" another child, he must have time to remove his hands.

Animals

The child is given an animal. He must show it. Father Frost, Snow Maiden, brothers, sisters, as well as parents can participate in the game as actors.

Guess the fairy tale

Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden briefly tell the plot of the fairy tale, and the child needs to remember its name.

Everyone becomes in a circle. The leader repeats the words:

«(movement) ,

If it's fun, do it(movement) .

If life is fun, we will smile at each other,

If it's fun, do it(movement) ."

After the word "so", the presenter shows the movement. Children repeat after him. The movement is different for the new verse. Movement examples:

Two hand claps;

We stomp our feet in turn;

We beat with fists in the chest (like King Kong);

Rotate around itself (for each line in a different direction);

Twice the gesture "Pinocchio's nose" - the fingers on the hands are spread out. The thumb of one hand is attached to the nose, the other hand to the first hand. All other fingers during the movement are slightly bent, and then unbent;

Twice the “Monkey” gesture is similar to the “Pinocchio nose” gesture, only the hands are put not to the nose, but at the level of the temples on both sides of the head;

Twice we pull the tips of the ears with our hands;

We clap our hands twice on our knees, sitting down a little;

Two times the gesture "Little ducklings" - the arms are bent at the elbow. During movement, the elbows are retracted and pressed against the body;

We stick out the tongue with a turn of the head (to the neighbor on the right and left);

Hugs (neighbor left and right).

The last 2 movements are done like this: on the first line we turn in one direction, on the second - in the other; on the fourth - first into one, then into another.

You can end the game like this: at the last performance of the song, after the words "do it" all the movements are repeated at once.

The sea is worried

The host pronounces the words "The sea worries once, the sea worries two, the sea worries three, freeze the figure." At this time, children try to portray someone or some object. There are 2 sequels:

Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden try to guess who (what) the child is showing;

Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden are trying to make the child laugh.

Telegram to Santa Claus

child (children) are asked to name 13 adjectives: brilliant, cheerful, red, fluffy, hot, brave, friendly ...

When all the adjectives are written down, the presenter takes out the text of the telegram and inserts the missing adjectives from the list into it.

Telegram (it is better to print on a separate sheet):

"... Santa Claus!

All... the children are looking forward to your... arrival.

New Year is the most ... holiday of the year.

We will sing for you... songs, dance... dances!

Finally, the New Year will come!

How I don't want to talk about ... study.

We promise that we will only receive... grades.

So, open your... bag and give us... gifts.

With respect to you ... boys and ... girls!

Rope with gifts

Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden prepare a rope in advance and hang small gifts on it on threads at different distances and heights: toys, sweets, fruits, etc. The child is blindfolded, directed towards the rope and he, with the help of scissors, cuts off his gifts.

The kids love this game!

Colors

Children become in a circle. The leader commands: "Touch(names color) . Ra-a-az, two-a-a, three-and-and!" Children try to grab a thing, object or clothes of the right color as quickly as possible.

You can play knockout. The last one left gets a prize.

Merry dance

To the music, Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden sing a song and, together with the children and parents, make movements, speeding up the pace with each new verse.

"Everyone clapped their hands

Friendly, more fun. (clap hands)

Legs, legs pounded

Louder and faster.(stomp feet)

Beaten on the knees

Hush, hush, hush. (hitting knees)

Handles, handles raise

Higher, higher, higher! (raise hands)

twirled, twirled(circling)

And they stopped."

Santa Claus is coming to us

In this game, it is proposed to first memorize the text:

"He's coming, Santa Claus is coming to us,

Santa Claus is coming to us.

And we know that Santa Claus

Brings us gifts."

Then the words are replaced by movements and gestures. With each new utterance of a verse, another one is added to the list of displayed words. Until only suggestions remain(k, i) .

For example, word movements might be:

"we" - point to ourselves;

“Santa Claus” - we point to the door or move like Santa Claus (stroke our beard, knock with a staff, carry a bag, etc.);

"goes" - we walk;

“we know” - leafing through a book or thinking, etc .;

“gifts - we stroke an imaginary soft toy or assemble a designer;

"carries" - we show how Grandfather Frost carries a large bag with gifts.

Guess the melody

The host lists 5 words from the lyrics of the song, except for the words from the title. The rest of the participants must guess the song, and then sing it together. For example:

"A Christmas tree was born in the forest": a bunny, a wolf, a little man, smart, brought it.

"Herringbone": small, balls, gold, beads, New Year.

"Somewhere in the world": light, bears, axis, someone, the main ones.

Competition wishes for the New Year.

Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden write wishes to the child and his family on a postcard. A child with parents - our heroes.

Artists

Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden jointly draw with the child a picture related to the New Year, or the one that the child wishes.

If the child is small, then you can circle the silhouette of a fairy-tale hero together with him, finish drawing, and the child will color it.

cold hot

The child leaves the room. Hiding a toy. Then the child begins to look for this toy. The rest of the participants tell him: if the child approaches the toy, everyone says “warmer-warmer”, if it moves away - “cold”. If the child is very close to the toy, everyone shouts “hot!”.

Actor

Extended game "Beasts".

A person is given a task or he pulls out a leaf on which it is written who he should show. You need to show everything: from gait, what this character does, what he is. Examples of characters: Santa Claus, Snow Maiden, Snowman, bear, Little Humpbacked Horse...

Puzzle

Assemble a puzzle with your child. Or cut a colorful fairy-tale picture into pieces yourself and let the child assemble it.

folding pictures

You need to take a sheet of paper. We will draw some character on it. The first participant draws a head. Unfolds the part on which he drew and transfers the sheet to another. The next one draws the neck. Next, draw the arms, chest, stomach, legs and feet. If there are fewer participants, then everyone draws several parts at once. The sheet unfolds and everyone looks at the drawing cheerfully.

Guess the item

Various items are placed in the bag. Participants take turns, without looking, put their hand into the bag and grope for an object. Guessing what it is, they name the object and take it out, showing it to everyone.

Crocodile

One person guesses a word to another. It must be a noun. The second shows this word to the rest of the company, but only with gestures and facial expressions. You cannot point at the object itself or make any sounds. The task is to show the hidden word in a fun way and to guess it.

Tongue Twisters

Select a few tongue twisters and pronounce them at speed.

Dance in a circle

Everyone stands in a circle at a distance of about one meter from each other. The music turns on. The first participant goes inside the circle and begins to dance so that his movements are consistent with the rhythm and style of the music. The rest repeat the movements for the first. As soon as the melody changes, another person enters the circle.

Mixer

Each player gets some name, say, a cracker, a lollipop, an icicle, a garland, a needle, a flashlight, a snowdrift ...

The driver goes around everyone in a circle and asks various questions:

Who are you?

Clapperboard.

What holiday is today?

Lollipop.

And what is it with you (pointing to the nose)?

Icicle.

And what drips from the icicle?

Garland...

Each participant must answer any questions with his "name".

mask i know you

The leader puts on a mask to the player. The player asks different Yes/No questions and must guess which mask he is wearing.

Antonym game

The host asks questions, the child needs to name antonyms - the last word of every second line.

"I'll say the word" high ",

And you answer - "low"

I'll say the word "far",

And you answer - "close."

I'll tell you the word "full",

You answer - "hungry".

I'll say "hot" to you,

You answer - "cold".

I'll tell you the word "lie down",

You will answer me - "get up."

I'll tell you later "father",

You will answer me - "mother".

I'll tell you the word "dirty"

You will answer me - "clean".

I will say "slow" to you,

You will answer me - "quick".

I'll tell you the word "coward"

You will answer - "brave".

Now "beginning" I'll say

You answer - "the end."

Sculptor

The task is to depict a sculpture. For example: "Hercules steals the golden apples." Using other participants of the game as a "statue", the "sculptor" creates a sculpture.

Fairy tale

To play, you need a book with children's fairy tales: the simpler the fairy tales, the better. Ideal - "Kurochka Ryaba", "Kolobok", "Turnip", "Teremok", etc. The roles of the characters are assigned. The host begins to read the tale, and all the characters come to life.

We save things

Participants receive two sheets of paper. The facilitator suggests imagining that each of them had a fire at home and they only need to save one thing from the fire. On one sheet, the players write the thing, and on the other - why he saved it. Then those and other sheets are collected and mixed in separate boxes. The leader first pulls one sheet from one box, then another from the other and reads. For example:

"TV" - "because it is pleasant to walk on it."

Before the game, the participants are told to treat the game with humor, otherwise everyone will save documents and money.

The power of thought

Two players sit opposite each other. There are 5 cards between them. They are painted: the sun, a star, a Christmas tree, a hedgehog, a flower. The player who has the cards thinks of one of them and represents what is really depicted on it. Then he looks at the second player, trying to convey his feelings to him so that he catches the idea which card is hidden. The second shows the hidden card.

Storyteller

Guests are reminded of the plots of famous Russian fairy tales and are invited to compose and tell new versions - in the genre of detective story, love story, tragedy, etc.

It's the other way around

Participants are encouraged to try to draw or color something. Only for right-handers - with the left hand, for left-handers - with the right.

Making Paper Animals

On thick paper we draw any animals. Cut out. Glue a strip of cardboard as a stand.

We sculpt figures from salt dough

This game must be played with pre-prepared figures.

Take two parts flour and water and one part salt. Mix flour with salt, add water and knead the dough. The dough dries quickly, so it needs to be kneaded in small portions. Now you can sculpt, for example, products for a store or a toy kitchen, or other figures. We place the figurines in the oven and dry them for three hours at a temperature of 100 degrees, and then paint them with poster paints.

magical and long-awaited holiday, which our children are waiting for is already on the threshold. You still have time to prepare for his meeting with the children, plan the scenario and study competitions and games for the New Year.

"Snow Job"

For this game, you can use a small ball or make a "snow" ball out of cotton. The participants of the game stand in a circle and pass the "snow" ball around. At the same time they say:
Snowball we all roll,
We all count to five.
One two three four five -
You sing a song!

Whoever has a "snowball" on the last phrase, he fulfills this wish. The last phrase can be changed: "And you read poetry!", "You dance to dance!", "Tell you a fairy tale!" and so on.

"Joke" with a beard ""

The contestants take turns telling jokes. If one of those present knows the continuation, a "beard" is attached to the narrator, which is replaced by a piece of cotton wool. The winner is the one who ends up with fewer pieces of cotton wool.

"Cooking Competition"

For a certain time (for example, 5 minutes), the participants in the game must make New Year's menus. All dishes in it must begin with the letter "H" (New Year). Dishes on the menu for Santa Claus should begin with the letter "M", and for the Snow Maiden - with the letter "C". Whoever has the largest menu wins.

"Now I'll sing!"

In the New Year, it is customary to sing songs and dance around the Christmas tree. But this activity can be varied. For example, on the clap of the presenter, everyone begins to sing the famous song "It's cold in the winter for a little Christmas tree ...". On the second clap, singing aloud stops, but all participants in the game continue to sing to themselves. On the third clap, everyone starts singing aloud again. The one who entered at random is out.

"Fairytale Character"

Cards are laid out on the table, on which the names of fairy-tale characters, cartoon characters are written (inscriptions down). The participant in the game pulls out any card and, having read what is written there, must use facial expressions, gestures, characteristic sounds to portray this character so that those present understand who they are talking about. The first person to guess draws the next card.

"Cinderella"

The game is played by two people. Each participant is blindfolded and offered to make out his own slide, in which peas, beans, lentils, dried mountain ash are mixed (ingredients can be changed, depending on what is in the house). Blindfolded participants sort the fruits into groups. The one who completes the task first wins.

"Mystery Prize"

A small gift (notebook, pen, etc.) is wrapped in paper, on which a piece of paper with a riddle is glued. Once again they are wrapped in paper - and the sheet with the riddle is glued again. There can be any number of such layers, it all depends on the number of players. The participant unfolds one layer of paper, reads the riddle to himself and says the answer aloud. Then he unfolds the next layer, reads the riddle to himself again and says the answer. If he doesn't know the answer, he reads the riddle aloud. The first person to guess this riddle unfolds the next layer of paper. The winner is the one who, having solved the last riddle, gets to the gift.

"Mobile phone"

The participants in the game call the numbers in order. Those who get the number 5 or multiples of it say "jin-jin". Those who get the number 7 and multiples of it say "ding-dilin". The one who makes a mistake is out of the game.

"Choose a prize!"

Various gifts wrapped in small bags are attached to a long rope. The participant of the game is blindfolded and given scissors. He must cut some gift, which he gets.

"Shoe for Cinderella"

Participants in the game put their shoes in a pile and blindfold themselves. The host shuffles shoes into a pile and gives the command: "Find your shoe!". Blindfolded contestants need to find their own pair of shoes and put them on. Whoever completes the task faster, wins.

"Hurry"

For this contest you will need sweet jelly or, for example, halva. The winner is the one who quickly eats the portion offered to him with a toothpick.

"Harvesters"

The participants of the game are divided into 2 teams. The task of each team is to move as many oranges or tangerines as possible to a certain place without the help of hands in a certain time (for example, 10 minutes).

"Guess"

A piece of paper with the name of some animal, object, etc. (for example, an elephant, a pen, a pear, an airplane) is attached to each participant in the game, but in such a way that the players do not know what they have written in their pieces of paper. But they can read what is written on the back of others. Participants in the game must ask each other leading questions to find out what is written on their backs. The answers can only be "yes" or "no". The first person to guess their "name" is the winner. The game is played until the last guesser. All receive consolation prizes.

"Sculptors"

This competition is best held outdoors. The host calls the letter, and the contestants must fashion any thing out of the snow that begins with this letter. Whoever blinds faster and more reliably - he won. At home, you can hold this competition using plasticine.

Focuses

Learn these simple tricks, and on New Year's Eve in the eyes of your guests, you will become an unsurpassed magician.

Thread on the jacket

You notice a white thread on your jacket and try to brush it off, but the thread remains on your jacket. Then you take it by the tip and pull. To your surprise (and the surprise of other people), it continues on. You pull further and further until a few meters of thread ends.

Focus secret: Before showing the trick, you put a small pencil in the inside pocket of your jacket, on which several meters of thread are wound from the spool. Using a needle, thread the tip of the thread through the fabric of the jacket to the outside. The main thing is that after demonstrating the trick, there are no traces left in your pocket if especially vigilant spectators decide to inspect your pockets. Therefore, the thread is wound on a pencil.

Three glasses and paper

Place two glass glasses on the table at some distance from each other. Place a piece of paper on top.

Pick up the third glass and invite the audience to place it between two glasses on a sheet of paper so that the paper does not bend. Nobody succeeds, of course. Then you demonstrate your "magical" abilities.

Focus secret: Fold a sheet of paper like an accordion along the long side, then it can easily support the weight of even a glass cup.

magic rope

You sit down in front of the audience at the table, show them the rope, put it on the table and say: "I will tie a knot on this rope without using my hands."

After that, cross your arms over your chest. Taking one end of the rope with your left hand and the other with your right, you spread your arms to the sides. There really is a knot on the rope!

Focus secret: There is no particular secret here. You just need to take a rope at least 1 meter long. And, of course, carefully rehearse the number in order to be able to grab both ends of the rope from the table.

Magic "Piglet"

You ask the audience for two coins in denominations of 1 and 5 rubles. Put a coin of 1 ruble on a small piece of paper, draw a mark around it with a pencil and then carefully cut out a hole equal in diameter to this coin of 1 ruble. After that, invite the audience to put a 5-ruble coin into this hole. Nobody knows how to do it. Then you can easily solve the proposed problem.

Focus secret: Of course, a 5-ruble coin will not fit into such a small hole. But if you fold a piece of paper in half so that the fold line passes through the center of the hole, then the hole will turn into a gap. Stretch the paper a little - the diameter of the hole is enough for a coin to easily slip through it.

Without getting your hands wet

Take a large flat plate, put a coin on it and pour a small amount of water so that it covers the coin. Then invite the audience to take the coin without getting their hands wet.

Focus secret: You set fire to a piece of paper and put it in a glass. Then quickly turn the glass over and place it on a plate near the coin. When the paper in the glass burns out and goes out, the water from the plate will collect under it, and the coin will be in a dry place.

Three layouts

Take any 21 cards and arrange them face up three cards in seven rows. You should have three vertical columns of seven cards each. Invite one of the spectators to remember any one card and say which column it is in. Carefully, one by one, place the cards of each column into piles, and then all the piles into one pile. In this case, a stack of cards from the column with the selected card must be placed in the middle between the other two. Then turn the stack face down, arrange the cards again into three columns of seven cards each, and again ask the spectator to indicate which column the chosen card is in. Fold the cards in columns and put the indicated column of cards back in the middle. And finally, for the third time, lay out the cards and again put the column with the selected card between the other two. Count out ten cards. The eleventh card comes out.

Focus secret: the main thing is to always put a column with a hidden card between the other two.

cunning trick

Take a deck of cards. Invite one of the spectators to choose and remember some card and put it on top of the deck without showing you. Then remove the deck and put its bottom part on top. Lay out the cards face up and accurately indicate the hidden card.

Focus secret: To find the hidden card, we apply a little trick. Before demonstrating the trick, remember the lowest card of the deck. Now, when laying out the deck, the hidden card will lie in front of the card that we spied on.

Guessed card

You invite four spectators to sit at the table with you. Deal five cards to everyone. After that, the spectators must memorize one card from those that are in their hands. You collect cards and lay them out on the table in five piles. Spectators choose one of the piles. You take the cards and fan them out to the audience. Then you ask which of them sees their card. After receiving the answer, you accurately indicate the card that they remembered.

Focus secret: You start collecting cards from the spectator who sits to your left and further - clockwise. Moreover, you collect all five cards at once, and not one at a time. You will collect your cards last, and they will be at the top of the deck. When you then lay out the cards in five stacks, in any of them the cards are in the order in which the audience sits at the table. If, for example, a third spectator recognizes "his" card, it will be the third one, counting the stacks from above, etc.

Kings and Ladies

Kings and queens are selected from the deck. You lay them out in front of the audience in two rows - separately for kings and separately for ladies. Stack the cards by placing a stack of kings on top of a stack of queens. The resulting deck of eight cards can be removed by the audience any number of times. Then you hide the cards behind your back, take out two cards and show them to the audience. They see that it is a king and a queen of the same suit.

Focus secret: Initially, you stack the cards so that the sequence of suits in both decks is the same. Behind your back, you divide the deck into two of four cards each and take the top card from each mini-deck. It will always be a king and a queen of the same suit.

Conceived number

Invite one of the spectators to think of a number. After that, the viewer must multiply it by 2, then add 8, divide by 2 and subtract the number that he had in mind. After a meaningful pause, you announce that the resulting number is 4.

Focus secret: There is no secret, pure mathematics!

NEW YEAR AUCTION

Players take turns listing everything that happens in the New Year: Santa Claus, Snow Maiden, Christmas tree, gifts, Christmas decorations, needles on the floor, snow, lanterns, etc.

The one who runs out of ideas is out of the game. The most resourceful wins.

THE MOST SKILLEST

Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden (or other characters according to the script) hold in their hands a hoop entwined with Christmas tree tinsel. Cotton balls (“snowballs”) are poured onto the floor. On the command of the heroes, children throw lumps into the hoops, then the number of hits in the Santa Claus hoop and in the Snow Maiden's hoop is counted.

DRESS THE CHRISTMAS

In front of the main Christmas tree, two small Christmas trees and two boxes with unbreakable New Year's toys are put up. Three people are called to each Christmas tree. At the command of Santa Claus, the children dress them up. Whoever quickly and accurately decorates his Christmas tree with all the toys from the box wins.

HAT

It is good to play the game with cheerful rhythmic music. Children stand in a circle. Santa Claus or the host of the holiday starts the game by shifting the hat from his head to the head of a nearby child, he, in turn, shifts the hat from his head to the head of a neighbor, and so on in a circle. At the command of Santa Claus (clap, whistle, blow with a staff), the movement stops, and the one on whom the hat is left at that moment must dance, sing or tell a winter poem, proverb, guess a riddle.

PORTRAIT OF FATHER FROST

1st option (individual).

Children are given pencils or markers. A piece of drawing paper is hung on an easel with magnets. You need to draw by holding a pencil or felt-tip pen with your teeth (with your eyes closed or with your left hand).

2nd option (collective).

All players are blindfolded with handkerchiefs. On a large paper, the children take turns drawing some part of the figure of Santa Claus. At the same time, the players are not informed to what place Santa Claus has already been drawn. So, it may turn out that he will have two beards or a whole pyramid of gift bags.

SNOWFALL REVERSED

Each child is given a “snowball” (a small cotton ball). At a signal from Winter or the leader, the children loosen their lumps, launch them into the air (throwing up) and begin to blow on them from below so that they stay in the air for as long as possible and do not fall to the floor. The smartest one wins.

WHO IS BIGGER?

Santa Claus, Snow Maiden or Snowman arranges a "snowfall" - scatters a whole bunch of paper snowflakes up. Children are given baskets. On a signal, the players begin to collect snowflakes in a basket. The one with the most snowflakes wins.

CHOOSE WHAT YOU LIKE

Children choose gifts from Santa Claus's bag by touch, describing in detail what it is and what it is like. And you can hide gifts in boxes of different sizes so that the children fantasize about what can be in the box (it will be even more interesting if the smallest gift is in the largest box).

BAG OF SURPRISES

Two children compete (in turn). The first one is blindfolded and given a small bag containing various toys (cubes, balls, nesting dolls, cars, etc.). Task: to get objects out of the bag and identify them by touch. The player must answer what kind of thing he got. Then the toys change and the game is repeated with the second participant. The winner of the two is the one who correctly guessed the largest number of toys.

NEW YEAR'S CONCERT

Cards with New Year's illustrations are put into a beautiful chest: a Christmas tree, a round dance, a snowflake, an icicle, skis, sleds, etc. Children take turns taking out a card and, after looking at the image on it, they must read a poem about it or sing an excerpt from a song.

MUSIC CAROUSEL

Chairs are placed in a circle (there are 1 less of them than the players). Among those playing Santa Claus or Snowman. Music sounds, all participants in the game begin to run around the chairs. As soon as the music stops, all the children quickly try to take their places. The adult hero plays at half strength (yielding), pretending that he does not have time to sit on a chair all the time. Since all the places are occupied by children, he will have to dance for everyone or distribute gifts.

PRIZE FOR "THREE!"

Two participants stand opposite each other, in front of them on a chair lies a prize.

Santa Claus says:

"One, two, three... eleven!"

"One, two, three... twenty!"

The winner is the one who turns out to be attentive and will be the first to take the prize when Santa Claus says: “Three!”

BUILD THE SNOWMAN

Details of a snowman (two copies) are cut out of whatman paper: three circles of different sizes. From colored paper: eyes, mouth, carrot nose, bucket, scarf, panicle. The called children on command on the floor near the Christmas tree quickly assemble snowmen from the proposed parts. The winner is the one who assembles the snowman more accurately, faster and more correctly, using all the prepared parts.

COLLECT THE SNOWFLAKE

Large snowflakes are cut into triangles. Laid out around the tree. Task: while cheerful moving music is playing, put all the details together. The winner is the one who keeps within the music and neatly folded everything.

Merry Rattle

Santa Claus competes with children in running in bags or jumping on one leg around the Christmas tree. One condition is obligatory: having run around or jumped to the agreed place, you need to take a rattle - a maracas on a chair in front of the Christmas tree and ring it.

Catch up with boots

Children stand in a circle, a felt boot is given to them. Children pass the felt boots in a circle to cheerful music, and Santa Claus tries to catch up with him. Children need to pass the boots very quickly so that Santa Claus cannot take it away.

Happy child 27.11.2016

Dear readers, very soon the New Year and happy holidays. I encourage you to prepare ahead of time! Today on the blog we have made for you a selection of New Year's games for children. What to play with the whole family? What to do with kids of all ages? How to properly organize the play space? What are the secrets in this matter? We will try to find answers to these and other questions in the article.

Heading Anna Kutyavina will share her thoughts and ideas of games for the new year for children. I give her the floor.

Hello dear readers of Irina's blog! Can you smell the frosty air outside the window? Snow, a Christmas tree, tangerines… Although according to the calendar there is still a whole month before the most anticipated holiday of the year, many of us already have an expectation of a miracle in our hearts. Indeed, on New Year's Eve, not only our children, but we ourselves often make the most cherished wishes, sincerely believing that they will certainly come true! And from January 1, like in a fairy tale, a new life will begin ...

So, let's start and we are preparing for the festive fun? In order not to sit out the last hours of December on the Internet, in a frantic search for new ideas for games, let's take important steps towards a joyful New Year right now. As long as there is time, strength, energy and desire. And also - there are a lot of delicious and non-standard ideas for fun! Go?

For your convenience, we have divided all games into age categories. So it will be easier for you to navigate and choose what is best for the child. There are games near the Christmas tree, games with rhymes, New Year's musical games. Games for the whole family are a separate category - a creative space in which there is a place for everyone: moms and dads, grandparents, aunts and uncles and kids!

New Year's games for children under 2 years old

Let's start the consideration of fun with the smallest heroes of the holiday. Usually, children begin to actively engage in simple games from 1.5-2 years old. For even younger toddlers, we offer only the simplest: round dances around the Christmas tree in the arms of mom; funny rhymes and songs with parents. Remember that babies should never be overloaded with emotions, including positive ones! "Herringbone" for such children lasts no more than half an hour, and we certainly look at the condition of the child. If he is tired, give him time to rest.

It's great if moms love to sing, compose poems and fairy tales. It's time to fantasize and gradually include the crumbs in the creative process. The main thing is the emotional involvement of parents, the desire to play and create. Even with yearlings, you can do small crafts together, glue a New Year's toy - boots from two cardboard parts, and then paint with colored sparkles. The baby just sits in the arms of the mother, and the mother does everything herself using the “hand in hand” method. Then the toy is solemnly hung on the Christmas tree, and each guest is told who made such beauty. And everyone is happy and satisfied.

It is good for kids to include short New Year's songs, under which you can clap your hands, stomp your feet, twist your booty. First of all, remember safety precautions: if there is a toddler in the house, the tree should not stand on the floor, especially hung with glass toys and garlands with lights.

New Year's games and competitions for children from 2 to 6 years old

Now let's move on to the most "grateful" age. Preschoolers are very fond of games and fun, they are active and sociable. We present to your attention a selection of games for preschoolers:

Game "Guess the gift"

Put a lot of different items and toys in a large bag. Invite the child to feel to determine what came into his hand. If the child guesses the name of the object, he receives a gift.

Game "Owl and animals"

One driver is chosen - "owl". The rest of the children show various animals: birds, mice, butterflies, frogs, bunnies, etc.
The driver gives the command: "Day!" - and all the "animals" run and jump merrily. On the second command: "Night!" Everyone freezes and doesn't move. The owl flies to "hunt". Anyone who laughs, moves, changes position, becomes the prey of an owl.

The game "It's boring to sit like this ..."

We seat the kids on chairs near one wall. The facilitator reads the verse:

It's boring, it's boring to sit like this,
Look at each other.
Isn't it time to run
And change places?

On these words, the children quickly run to the opposite wall, trying to take the empty chairs. There are one fewer chairs than players. The one left without a chair is out of the game. The chairs are also removed one by one. The game is repeated until the winner takes the last chair.

Game "Fox and Hares"

Children move according to the instructions in the text:

On the forest lawn
Bunnies ran away.
Here are some bunnies
Runaway bunnies.
(Baby bunnies run around the hall)
The bunnies sat in a circle
They dig a spine with a paw.
Here are some bunnies
Runaway bunnies.
("Bunnies" sit down, "dig" roots)
Here is a fox running
Red sister.
Looking for where the bunnies are
Runaway bunnies.

(The fox runs between the kids. When the song ends, he catches up with the kids).

Game "Winter mood"

The host reads the poems, and the children answer: “true”, “false”.

1. Bloomed in the cold
There are big roses on the pine tree.
They are collected in bouquets
And the Snow Maiden is handed over. (Wrong)

2. With the Snow Maiden Snowman
Get used to the kids.
He loves to listen to poetry
And then eat candy. (Right)

3. Santa Claus melts in winter
And under the Christmas tree is bored -
A puddle was left of him;
On a holiday, it is not needed at all. (Wrong)

4. In February, on New Year's Eve
Good Grandpa is coming
He has a big bag
All filled with noodles. (Wrong)

5. Toadstools do not grow in winter,
But they are sledding.
Children are happy with them -
Both girls and boys. (Right)

6. To us from hot countries in winter
Miracle butterflies fly
Snow warm sometimes
They want to collect nectar. (Wrong)

7. On a glorious New Year's holiday
Cactus for kids is the main one -
It's green and prickly
Christmas trees are much cooler. (Wrong)

8. In January, blizzards sweep,
Spruce dressed with snow.
Bunny in his white fur coat
Boldly galloping through the woods. (Right)

Relay game "Fish"

The leader divides the children into 2 teams. Each team receives a small fishing rod with a hook.

Near each team lies a large blue hoop - a "pond". In the pond, toy fish with eyelets at the mouth, according to the number of participants. To rhythmic music, the captains go to the pond, hook the fish with a fishing rod, put it in the buckets of their teams. Then the rod is passed to the next participant. The winner is the team that finished fishing first.

And what is a holiday without music. Pick it up in advance, music always creates a festive atmosphere. And children always like such musical games.

The game "Round dance around the Christmas tree"

The easiest and favorite fun for kids! Turn on a fun song: "It's cold for a little Christmas tree in winter" or "A Christmas tree was born in the forest," and go!

The game "Snowball in a spoon"

2 players participate at the same time. They are given a spoon in their mouth, in a spoon - a cotton snowball. On a signal, the children run in different directions in the direction around the Christmas tree. The winner is the one who runs first, and whose snowball remains in the spoon.

The game "Around the Christmas tree in bags"

2 kids play at the same time. They stand with their feet in the bags, supporting the top of the bags with their hands. On a signal, the players scatter in different directions around the Christmas tree. The fastest one wins. Then the next pair plays.

The game "We are funny kittens"

The leader puts on cheerful music. Children break into pairs and dance.
The host says: “We are funny kittens,” and the couples are separated. Each shows a dancing kitten.

It is also very good to offer children various winter puzzles. Children are happy to tell poems and sing songs to Grandfather Frost. And they love to receive gifts.

Let's watch a video of how Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden play various interesting games with children! There are a lot of ideas here.

Games for children 6-10 years old

Children of this age can be offered a wide variety of New Year's games, including musical games, dances, relay races, riddles. Great "goes" and various production of crafts, Christmas decorations. Fantasize and get involved!

Game "Christmas Castle"

Several people are playing. First, they are invited to carefully study the drawn drawing of the New Year's castle. Then everyone gets a set of plastic cups. The players are blindfolded. They get to work.

The participant who most accurately and quickly reproduced the drawing wins the competition.

Game "Tangerine Football"

Children are divided into 2 teams. Tangerines are laid out on the table. Players using two fingers try to score a goal for the opposing team.

The game "The most accurate snow shooter"

Participants try to hit the target with snowballs - a target, or a bucket, a basket, a large box. The most accurate shooter wins the competition.

Game "Winter Wind"

Players sit down at the table and try to blow a paper ball, cotton ball or paper snowflake onto the floor.

Games near the Christmas tree and musical games

Game "Decorate the Christmas Tree"

Children are divided into 2 teams. Near each of them, the presenter puts a box with unbreakable Christmas toys.

Not far from the teams there are two decorated artificial Christmas trees. Children take turns taking one toy from the box, run to the Christmas tree of their team, hang a toy on it and run back. The game continues until the last player. The team that decorates the Christmas tree first wins.

Game "Cap"

Children become in a circle. Cheerful music is on. Players begin to pass the New Year's hat in a circle. When the music stops, the one with the cap left in his hands puts it on his head and completes the task of Santa Claus.

family games

When a large family gathers at the festive table, it's time to play fun family New Year's games. They perfectly unite representatives of different generations, and the connection between close people becomes even closer and deeper. Also, such games can be offered to companies of teenagers and adults.

The game "Make a snowman"

For the game you need softened plasticine. Two players sit side by side at a table. The left hand of one participant and the right hand of the other work like the hands of one person, making a snowman. It is not simple! But very unifying! It's great if there are children and adults in each pair.

The game "Shoe for Cinderella"

All participants in the game put their shoes in a pile. The players are blindfolded. The host shuffles the shoes into a pile and commands: “Come on, find your shoe!”. Each participant, blindfolded, looks for his pair of shoes and puts on shoes. Whoever completes the task first is the winner.

Game "Cinderella"

Two participants are required. Everyone is blindfolded and told to take apart their slide. Peas, beans, nuts, dried mountain ash, and other ingredients are mixed in the slides. Blindfolded participants sort fruits into groups.

Game "Snow Challenge"

You need to take a small ball, or make a "snow" ball of cotton. The participants of the game become in a circle. "Snowball" is passed in a circle.

The leader says:

Snowball we all roll,
We all count to five.
One two three four five -
You sing a song!

Whoever has a “snowball” in his hands on the last phrase, he fulfills this wish. The last phrase changes: “You dance to dance!”, “And you read poetry!”, “Tell you a fairy tale!” and so on.

And here is another very interesting game for the whole family for the New Year. I suggest watching the video.

New Year's karaoke

How is the new year without songs? Pick up a list of “cons” in advance, such as:

- "The Forest Raised a Christmas Tree",
- "Three white horses"
- "The ceiling is icy, the door is creaky",
- "The little Christmas tree is cold in winter,"
- "Five minutes",
- "Blue frost",
- "Song about bears", etc.
Turn on and have fun singing with the whole family!

Game-dance "Engine"

Adults and children stand in a column, put their hands on the waist of the previous dancer. And the locomotive is moving!

Our games are suitable for organizing a fun space at home, as well as in the conditions of matinees and corporate parties. Some of them can even be played outside.

Friends, I sincerely hope that you enjoy our New Year's games and competitions for kids, and you will certainly find something for yourself! Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
