Did you know about the existence of the city of Pyt-Yakh? Now you will find out. It was there that he was born on March 9, 1994 Slava Basyul. This city is located in the Khanty-Mansiysk Okrug, and with a population of 41 thousand people there are many creative youth. So Vyacheslav Basyul, whose Instagram is watched by tens of thousands of people today, started in this small town.

He didn’t get on the TV show “I want to see Meladze” empty space. Back in 2011, he moved to Moscow, where he began studying vocals and at the same time performing in nightclubs. He came prepared to participate in the program. Not surprisingly, the judges at all stages gave Slava the green light, and in the end he was among the winners.

IN M-Band, however, Slava did not hit. But should I be upset? Now Vyacheslav Basyul works as a solo artist, releases new songs and actively performs with the support of the same Meladze. He announces new songs on social networks, writes them himself, and actively works on promotion.

Slava’s debut video, “Wake Me Up,” is already airing on major TV channels. Vyacheslav himself actively gives concerts and prepares new songs. He doesn’t talk much about his creative plans or his personal life. However, you can learn something from Basyul’s official photo blog.

The best photos on Instagram of Basyul Vyacheslav

As of April 2015, about 80 thousand people subscribed to new photos on Basyul’s Instagram. There is quite a lot of Vyacheslav in these photographs. He either announces new rotations of his videos, or announces concerts, or just acts out, taking non-binding selfies or group photos. There is even such an Instagram stamp, more typical of girls, like a self-portrait in the mirror. Surprisingly, Vyacheslav Basyul collects the maximum number of likes on Instagram with just such frivolous photographs.

Slava talks about his love for music, the gifts he receives from fans, and how he spends his days. Introduces new songs that can be purchased on iTunes, shares footage from studios and concerts. In some publications you can also find Vyacheslav’s colleagues, other participants in “I want to go to Meladze” or his fellow students.

The most charming and positive participant in the show “I Want to Meladze” Vyacheslav Basyul told our editor in exclusive interview about fans, plans for the future and how the project influenced his life.

FP: Tell us about your childhood, what kind of environment did you spend it in?

Slava Basyul: In general, I didn’t have a very easy childhood, because I spent half of my childhood on crutches and I didn’t have a childhood as such. But there were parents and close people nearby. Until I was three years old, I lived in Moldova in the city of Grigoriopol, all my relatives are there, and then we moved to Russia to the small northern town of Pyt-Yakh, where I lived, studied, and studied music until I was 18 years old. I grew up in an innumerable amount of love and experiences. Having gone through all this, I can say that I have become stronger.

FP: You only child in family?

Slava Basyul: I have a younger brother, he is 9 years old, now he is studying at school, he is also an activist: he sings, dances, he is also an “actor”, his name is Yaroslav.

FP: How old were you when you first went on stage?

Slava Basyul: When I was about eight years old, I went on stage in our recreation center, where I performed Valery Syutkin’s song “Vasya,” and I remember we also sang “White Cap.” These are the two songs that put me in my place.

FP: Which song do you consider closest and therefore favorite?

Slava Basyul: For about 5 years, these are Fadeev’s songs, for example, which turned me upside down, there are also songs by Igor Krutoy. For my musical activity There are songs that touched my soul, and these are, in particular, compositions by Joshua Groban and Valery Meladze. The composition “I love you to tears” became a hit when I was still studying, and I sang it, then I sang “Lake of Hope” by Alla Borisovna Pugacheva. I felt these songs more than the others, I don’t know how it happened, but they passed through me at that time. And now I’m writing an album and passing every song through myself. I hope that everyone will accept my message, this is very important to me, but I don’t know how everything will happen, we’ll see. I want to do well what I know how to do, and I know how to suffer well, to convey the burning emotions that have overwhelmed me and are overwhelming me, I want to share them with all people. I would like to share goodness and tell all people: “Be kinder.” I noticed that in Lately We all lack kindness, everyone is so evil and we want people to change. How to do it? With the help of music, which is what I do. If I can write music, and I succeed, then I simply have to do it, but whether people will accept it or not is another question. The main thing is that I did and conveyed what I wanted to say.

FP: What are your sources of inspiration?

Slava Basyul: Inspiration is not some physical thing, it is floating, it can arise from some incomprehensible things. It doesn't have to be love or suffering, it can just be a meeting with some good or kind person. Many factors influence this and you don’t always get it, but when it happens, it’s great. It’s such an insight, you’re sitting and bam a ray of light comes through your window, and you realize that now you need to write a song, and you write it in one breath. And if you can’t write easily, then you need some support: cinema, music, paintings. I myself love to draw, no matter what, the main thing is that it immerses me.

FP: Do you have any bad habits?

Slava Basyul: I love to sleep long in the morning, I can’t wake up early. I think it's very bad habit. I don’t smoke, I don’t drink, I think that these are things that should not be particularly promoted in our country, in the world. But if you do drink, then you need to know when to stop, I think so.

FP: Do you like to communicate with fans, and how does this communication usually go: social media, autograph sessions, fan meetings?

Slava Basyul: By the way, this is also a very big boost. If people like what you do, I can’t call them my fans, they are my inspirers: my Basyats and about them I will say that they inspire me very, very, very much. I have not yet held any autograph sessions or meetings, but in the future we plan to do this, and Internet conferences, and for now social networks are very helpful for all artists, because they help to stay informed. After all, if I don’t have my own Basyats, my own inspirers, then why do all this. And they are so positive, kind and active. There is no negativity in my group at all, and I am very happy about this, because we have one common goal - art.

FP: Do you often go to social events?

Slava Basyul: Nobody invites me yet, because I don’t yet have a connection with such more pretentious show business, but I’m ready to attend various events. Although in reality I home person and I don’t really like all this pathos. I don't like being in the company of people who make a lot of themselves. I love ordinary, normal and sincere people who will understand me, and I will understand them, we will talk and laugh. And all these noisy parties never inspired me. I’d rather sit at home and write songs than go out and waste time and energy, but I understand that this is part of my profession.

FP: How do you spend your free time?

Slava Basyul: In my free time, I like to watch Harry Potter with popcorn, draw, or, wrapped in a cozy blanket, drink tea. I love photography and find it my outlet to capture moments with my camera. I enjoy spending my free time on this.

FP: Do you like shopping and what brands do you prefer?

Slava Basyul: I’m not a shopaholic and, probably, this will distinguish me from many popular people. I can easily buy some kind of hidden thing in any accessible mass market store, the main thing is that there are no marks on it, huge letters etc.

FP: Do you have any favorite places or establishments in Moscow?

Slava Basyul: I adore the Kuznetsky Most area, it’s very soulful there. There is also a restaurant serving Moldavian cuisine, where I like to sit. In general, there are many places in Moscow that I love and visit: Red October, Old Arbat, and in general you can easily meet me at McDonalds (smiles).

FP: Do you like to travel, what cities and countries have you already visited?

Slava Basyul: B last time I was in Italy. I have also already visited Vienna, Budapest, and Venice. I really want to go to London. I fell so in love with Italy. As soon as you cross the border, you realize that Italy is outside your window. It's the air, the scenery, and the great food.

FP: Do you like going to the movies?

Slava Basyul: I love going to the movies, and in general I’m a movie fan! From latest films, which I liked “Lucy” with Lindsay Lohan, “Gone Girl”.

FP: Do you have a tattoo?

Slava Basyul: This is an interpretation of fish in its non-standard form. Nothing so original, I just decided to strengthen my karma, my zodiac sign. According to my horoscope, I am a Pisces, and a very creative streak in all this flows precisely in this sign. So I decided that now I would hit her on my left calf and I would become more, more, more, even more sensual, creative and talented, I would be the most sincere and positive. Something, of course, may have changed, but not as dramatically as I wanted. But the tattoo still remains.

FP: Do you like sweets, what is your favorite dish?

Slava Basyul: I try to cook myself, but so far I’m not very good at it (smiles). Eat Tasty food I adore it, and sometimes I even succeed when I’m in the mood. I love cooking spaghetti, then adding sauce to it, and when everything is ready, I’m satisfied with how cool it is. I love pizza, borshchiki, especially my mother’s, they are simply gorgeous. I have a terrible sweet tooth, I love everything sweet, even if I drank tea without sweets, it means that I didn’t drink tea, I definitely need some kind of cookie or candy.

FP: “I want to go to Meladze” - is this your first television project?

Slava Basyul: No, there was also “The Voice,” but I didn’t go any further. Then “I want to go to Meladze” came up, and I spent a whole month preparing for the casting. On the same day there was an audition for the next “Voice”, but I made a choice in favor of “I want to go to Meladze” and did not regret it. I just compared, I have a lot of friends on “The Voice”, and I know all that cuisine, but here I got a lot more, because this is not just a show, this is a school where they teach you: vocals, choreography, communication and proper presentation of yourself. This is a tremendous experience, both personal and working in a team. The emotions that overwhelmed me charged me, because I had to work with meters Russian show business: Presnyakov, Lazarev, Garagina and others.

FP: Do you have any hobbies and is it true that you collect badges?

Slava Basyul: Yes, I love it, and in general I’m a junk shopper, this is my hobby. I am very touching about old things, badges, records. I can't even throw away mine old toy, which I played, for example, as a child. My mother says to me: “Why don’t we throw it away, Slavik?” I say: “Mom, this was my favorite toy a couple of years ago, and how can I throw it away now, even if it’s no longer my favorite, because it used to be my favorite.” That’s why I have a bunch of boxes of things at home, and I keep all this unnecessary “junk” and can’t throw it away. And I tell my mom, just try to throw it away. Sometimes I take out the boxes and start going through these things, and I am enveloped in the memories that these things carry. And the badges are a continuation of the same thing, only I love old badges, there is something interesting and soulful in them. That's the kind of sentimental dude I am!

FP: Do you have a favorite sport and what exactly do you do?

Slava Basyul: Swimming is for me main sport. I watch football and love playing it. I also like to watch hockey, although I have never played it because my body structure is not the same (smiles).

FP: Do you consider yourself Fame People?

FP: Do you have a personal life?

Slava Basyul: I believe that everyone should have a personal life, no matter how banal it may sound. Yes, I have a girlfriend, and everyone knows about it, I didn’t hide it from the very beginning. I am sure that I have her, she inspires me to do various pleasant things.

FP: What are your immediate creative plans?

Slava Basyul: I want to develop, this is very important for me. Be better, write good songs, which would become popular, bring positivity and inspire people to do good. Very soon everyone will hear and see my creations, but for now we will work in the studio, create, create and love. (smiles).

FP: Wish something for our readers.

Slava Basyul: I wish everyone to be sincere, kind, to be themselves and not to follow other people’s ideals, happiness to everyone and health.

A favorite of girls of all ages, romantic hero, finalist and special prize winner of a popular television project, professional talented singer. Student presenter music university countries. TV presenter and songwriter. His videos have millions of views on the Internet. In general, Slava Basyul is smart and handsome.

- You got it new single. Can you introduce him?

— On June 5, I released a new single called “Give me time.” The song was written in as soon as possible! This happened after my personal problems. I'm very busy schedule. I try to attend all the events, I tour, write, sing - all this takes a lot of time. My girlfriend couldn't stand it all. We were together for a decent amount of time. But in one moment, as if by clicking, it was all over. I wrote this song in 2 days. And so I presented it to the audience.

The song is about broken heart can be cured with music. And that time still heals. The song is not sad at all, I didn't want to make it sad at all. I have lyrical songs, but for now I’m leaving them “for the sweetest” - for the release of the album and don’t show them to the public yet. The previous track “One Day” is also moving and rhythmic. And “Give Me Time” is a fashionable, easy, very summer work. You can turn it on with friends or on the highway - the sea on the right, the mountains on the left. And everyone will be happy and happy. And it’s important to me that the words in the song are not very simple. I put into them the experiences that I had recently.

— But there is a rather serious story in the text.

— For any creating person - author, director, etc. – it is important that his creation is understood. I hope that I was able to convey the emotion that was in me at that moment when my girlfriend and I broke up. But some kind of switch happened in me. I don't want to cry. I would like to say: “Everything was wonderful with you and me! And only the best is ahead."

— Do you think it’s worth opening up to the public like this? Maybe just let them listen and everyone think about their own? What degree of frankness should a public person have?

- Well, I’m talking about the song... You know, artists are already 100% open! IN modern history With the advent of social networks, people are practically looking into our souls, into privacy. And this is in addition to creativity. What I tell you about mine personal life, is already known. I can just write some kind of sad post and a lot of people will understand that something is wrong, something happened. Therefore, my frankness will not be a revelation. I believe that it is impossible to write good song without any event. The song “Give me time”, our parting, is the very basis on which all other actions are built.

— Do you need stress that takes you out of your comfort zone for inspiration?

- Unfortunately yes! I am sure that all creative people need a push, and it can only come from an unexpected one in the back. You have to run away - you run.

- But you can, for example, jump with a parachute...

— You can, and it will be the coolest emotions! But the songs are written differently. Here is “Wake Me Up” another song, but there is...

- "Give me some time"?

- Yes! And they are completely different! And in every song I have my own story. People only want me to write lyrics, to churn out “Wake Me Up” in a sense. But for me they are different from each other.

— This leads to the following question: to what extent should an artist, an author, follow the lead of his audience?

“I’ve been thinking about this too lately.” Why does this happen: the artist is working, trying to come up with something new that he has not done before, trying to surprise the audience, but people want a continuation of what happened? This is very controversial issue, I think. Depends on how the stars align. But the mood is still mine! I can’t look at the fans who are suddenly all sad and quickly make a sad song. Rather, on the contrary, I’ll make it fun. Or I’ll just sing “Wake Me Up” again and everyone will be happy.

I am not a supporter of any “straight line”. After the first song, I had the task of showing myself from a completely different side and I wrote the song “Routes”. It was a very spring story. Then I went in the other direction, I decided to do something very fashionable and in the last two tracks, which I did without Alan Badoev, I put my maximum effort. Everything there - sounds, words, the entire recording - took place only under my leadership. I believe that this is how I develop. Of course, when there is a person who thinks for you - a producer - there is no development. And when you do it yourself from start to finish, you see all your mistakes and really become better. Therefore, the songs “One Day” and “Give Me Time” were completely made by me and my team. As I see it, it is.

Maybe I'm seeing this wrong. But at least I'm not cheating on myself. I don’t buy songs from other artists and don’t pass them off as my own, I write my own material. I believe that this is how it should be. AND better than that Whoever wrote it, no one will do it. There are some rare exceptions, of course.

- But there are wonderful artists who do not write music themselves. What should they do?

- Yes, everything is the same - do the same, continue. I'm not saying it's bad. I meant all this in relation to myself, and not to everyone. But I don’t understand artists who tell their fans that they themselves wrote some song, but in fact they didn’t. They probably think that this will make them more important. But it's not right. There is no need to deceive anyone, and above all yourself. Moreover, you cannot deceive the public at all. I realized that it doesn't matter who is behind you. What matters is what and how you do. Everything must be done sincerely. Fortunately, now we have the Internet, which makes it possible to tell the whole world what you are doing. And if it’s really talented, then people will be drawn to it. Therefore, it is very important for me not to cheat on myself, not to lie. And do what you want now. And do it the way you understand and see it.

— I understand that after the project “I want to go to Meladze” and collaboration with Alan Badoev, you decided to move on on your own? Really, after such a start, there were no interesting offers?

- Yes, I am my own boss. The offers were quite attractive. But this was 100% my conscious, deliberate decision. I thought it would be more difficult for me if I didn't write the songs myself. And so half of it important workmusical material- I can do it myself. I chose the most difficult path. It was a mutual decision with Alan. I received enormous initial support from him, and then I slowly began to unwind on my own. Alan Badoev is incredibly talented, very cool person and thank him very much!

Over the course of 3.5 years, I realized that the most important thing is that your reputation comes before you. What kind of person are you: hardworking or not, sociable or not, sane or completely retarded. Do you have a “corona” or are you normal? And first of all, your reputation works for you, not your merits. Achievements come second. And then: “He’s also talented!”

- Let's go back to the song that once shocked me so much - “Wake Me Up.” The track is truly a hit and everyone loves it. Besides fame, did the song bring you any prizes, awards, or other bonuses?

- There was nothing at all. Alan shot a great video and we made the most of the Internet. There was, of course, the Oops! Chois Awards" in the "Discovery of the Year" nomination, but this happened much later, somewhere on the third single. This was an event for me - the first prize in my life! But with “Wake Me Up” there was nothing. There wasn’t even a radio; no one wanted to broadcast the song. Program directors on the radio said: “Awesome song, well done! We like everything, but let's wait for the next track." Then we watched “Routes” and: “Cool song, but the previous one was better.” So why didn’t you take it?! But the clip was broadcast on all music TV channels.

— As a self-producer: is it difficult to make any marketing decisions? What will you release, in what form, in what order and where will you take it - are you thinking about all this?

- Of course, I'm not a manager. But during specific serious work, I learned to understand what is required of me and how it needs to be done. I'm in free flight: today I can release one, tomorrow a second or a third. As my soul desires. But I'm not trying to overwhelm the listener with numbers. Yes, and now there is no opportunity to release too much material. I thoughtfully make a song for six months. Perhaps this is my mistake and I need to release tracks more often. Well, resources are important. We have to save somewhere, look for some alternatives. You also need to devote enough time to this. After all, it’s also studying.

— Tell me more about your studies.

— I am finishing my 3rd year at the Gnessin Academy of Music, specializing in “ Musical art stage." I want to tell you about my teacher. I am studying with an excellent vocal teacher, Raisa Mohabubovna Sayed - Shah. At one time, she was a very active touring singer. She is a wonderful vocal teacher and has taught me a lot in 3 years. Probably by by and large, it was because of her that I entered the Academy. I love you very much creative people, and Raisa Mokhabovna is 100% exactly such a person! She is very honest and always says everything to her face. Very bad, very good – it doesn’t matter, he tells it like it is. During the lesson, she is completely immersed in what we are doing. It's attractive. And of course, she can do it.

- Purely from a human point of view: what pleases you more - when your mother and grandmother praise you or Raisa Saed - Shah?

“My mother doesn’t praise me often, and my mother is a very reserved person.” They criticize me the same way, they say everything honestly. Mom believes that no one except her will tell me the truth, and this is to some extent the truth. Of course, when your mother praises you, it’s very cool! When my vocal teacher praises me, it also means a lot to me. I trust her. Both there and there are absolutely equally important.

— You started with the show “I want to go to Meladze.” Now what is this for you: a really important experience or more pr – history?

— A colossal experience, of course. I really learned a lot there. It was very cool, it was work 24 hours a day. Dance performances, vocal rehearsals, moral preparation.

—Aren’t you afraid of the long-lasting trail of a TV project participant?

- I'm trying to move away from him. I try to position myself differently. The project is long overdue. I think it’s stupid to say for many years that I am a finalist for the project. This does not give any special relationship. There are a lot of people who know me in my work environment and they are not particularly interested. And those who listen to me already remember about “I want to go to Meladze.” Moreover, all information and videos are easily searched on the Internet.

— I understand from the Internet that 95 percent of your fans are young girls?

- Yes. This is natural in my case. Of course it's me similar situation didn't calculate it. And why would I - at the time of the project I had no one and no experience! Now I understand what happened exactly as it should have happened, what resulted from what. I’m still young and I think girls are the best audience that can understand me. I really like this situation.

— Do you have a desire, ideas on how to expand your circle of fans?

— Of course, any artist has such a desire. But there’s no need to rush, it seems to me. Time itself will put everything in its place. I'm growing, everything is changing. If now I have the story of a romantic boy in love, then tomorrow, as creative personality, I might get overwhelmed and start singing mega unreal tracks that are not expected from me at all! About sex, about money, in a signature manner. For example, like this. We are growing, changing, and it’s hard to say what will happen after. Time will shape. In the meantime, this is how I am and my viewers love me this way.

And here we return to the question of choice again. You can record a chanson and “scratch” for a wealthier and more stable audience. And you can do what you consider important in creativity. I think I'll choose the latter.

- What if there is a compromise?

— In nature there is no concept of “middle” at all! Either "yes" or "no". My whole life is like this. I don't like mediocrity. No compromises!

— But if you are invited to fill a vacant position at Mband, will you refuse?

- Yes! I have already commented on this issue more than once. After Vladislav Ramm left the team, my phone didn’t stop ringing for three days. Despite the fact that I don’t even know where journalists got my numbers from. Specifically: you don’t want to be a “reserve pilot”. It was necessary to call when the situation was optimal for this. For some reason, they chose other people. The question is closed.

— I understand that you do not have any third-party funding. Are you planning to attract investors?

— Indeed, I don’t have any sponsors, I do everything myself. Of course, I don’t have super finances, but we do the work as much as possible. So far no one has been involved. Let's see.

— Will there be a video for “Give me time”?

- I'm thinking about filming. Most likely it will appear in the summer. Again, I will look at the demand for the song. But the song rose to a very good position in the iTunes top.

— You’ve been talking about the album for over a year now.

- Yes. But in different ways objective reasons deadlines have to be pushed back. Now the album is almost ready, the material is there. The album will contain all of mine already famous songs, I am associated with them. A total of 12 songs have been selected, and we are slowly improving them. This is a club project, synth-pop. Not particularly designed for recreation centers, I focus on clubs. Good sound, its own atmosphere, girls with martinis and so on. By the way, this is just for a fairly mature audience, not schoolgirls. Although, they should like it too. But this is more mature, stylish, thoughtful music.

— But the girls, as I understand it, actively support you?

- Yes very much! If it weren't for their support, I probably would have given up already. I have little press, almost none, no media sponsors. And the network is very active thanks to the girls.

There will be a good news opportunity - the release of the album. I still hope for a big one solo concert, with the press, friends - colleagues and other attributes of a quality presentation. Large-scale good platform, good sound. But I stopped voicing deadlines. When everything is ready and I am sure of the date, then I will announce it publicly.

— Regarding concerts: you have a program and you go out periodically. What kind of composition do you have on stage: musicians, backup dancers or you alone?

- Again, this is a matter of commerce. Of course, I would really like to travel with a live band. I even had a few performances with the group. But it is expensive for customers, everyone understands this. I have a certain package of proposals. I can come alone, I can come with musicians - it depends on the capabilities of the concert organizer. I don't work with backup dancers.

There is a program and it is quite universal - for any audience, for any age. This is the beauty of a “pop” story - it fits most audience taste. It is unique and covers more space than the underground.

“I can’t resist asking about the last name.” You started with a pseudonym, right?

— Yes, it seemed to me that my last name, Basyul, was difficult to remember. But then he still returned to her. Although the stress is very often confused (correctly on the first syllable - author's note). But somehow I’ve already come to terms with it. What can you do! It used to irritate me, now it doesn't matter.

- What does your last name mean?

— This is a Bulgarian-Romanian theme, my family comes from those nationalities. In my opinion this means “beautiful”, but this is unreliable information. The main thing is that the name is heard!

- Or maybe you should also go to some show like “The Bachelor”?

— This is definitely not my topic, I don’t fit their format. If I were to go on a TV show, it would be an absolutely creative one. I went through it, was the presenter at music channel. But I stopped with it. The presenter is still not exactly creativity, and I don’t want the perception of me to be blurred. I am a musician and it is important for me that the public sees me as a musician. I would like the show to be musical.

— And finally: a message to the fans?

— Thank you for reading this interview to the end! Listen good music and fall in love!
