Slava Basyul - biography

Slava Basyul is one of the most talented and charismatic singers of our time. A promising young artist has already managed to win the hearts of many fans. He is only 20, and the whole country already knows about him.

Vyacheslav Ivanovich Basyul was born on March 9, 1994 in the city of Pyt-Yakh, in the Khanty-Mansiysk District. By nationality, Slava is Russian, however, has Ukrainian and Moldovan roots.

From the age of 7, the guy began to actively engage in vocals and dances. Studied in high school general education school No. 6. From the age of 13, a young man has been performing on stage. Participated in several festivals where he top places. Even then, Slava understood what he would do in life.

Elena Andreevna became for him not only a vocal teacher, but also a friend, as well as a wise adviser. After graduating from school in 2011, Basyul moved to Moscow, where he entered Russian academy music named after the Gnessins at the vocal faculty. The family of Vyacheslav was sorely lacking money to pay for his son's education. Therefore, the guy made every effort to enter the budget. www.site

In order to somehow stabilize financial condition, Slava began performing in Moscow clubs. He agreed to any commercial proposals that came from art directors he knew. Everyone saw in a guy real star. “It has that sincerity and purity, which is now lacking in our show business,” they spoke about young artist his friends.

Based on the reviews of many of Basyul's acquaintances, we can say that the young man is honest, well-mannered, purposeful, talented and combative. There are quite a few such people on the stage today. Looking at his performances, we see that Slava is not trying to create an image of a businesslike egoist who, like many of his peers, is trying to break into the ranks of representatives of the domestic show business. The guy takes his sincerity and simplicity. Nevertheless, Vyacheslav is a positive person.

At the beginning of 2014, the casting for the musical series “I Want to Meladze” started in Moscow, in which aspiring singers from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Lithuania and other CIS countries took part. The main goal of the reality show was to create a male band that could be promoted as a quality and relevant product.

Slava Basyul also decided to join the fight for a place in the M-band. Already in the first round music competition the guy conquered everyone with both his vocals and soulful transmission lyric song. During the "I want to Meladze" the young singer proved to be successful not only solo performances but also in team work. However, having reached the final, Vyacheslav could not get into the coveted group.

Now the guy is performing solo. He began to receive a lot advantageous offers. According to many, he was the discovery of the past year. In December 2014, his first author's composition "Wake Me Up" was released.

According to some sources, Slava has a girlfriend, but, unfortunately, nothing is known about their relationship. He leads healthy lifestyle life, reading books and working on his self-improvement.

In March 2015, the second single of Slava Basyul was released under the name "Routes". On March 15, it became known that the production company of Alan Badoev would represent the interests of not only Max Barsky, but also young author and performer Slava Basyul. Badoev's cooperation with a novice artist began with success debut single Glory - "Wake me up." The director presented the shooting of the video to the artist after the song topped the top iTunes sales in Russia and Ukraine, and stayed there for several weeks. Among other achievements of the track and the artist - the status of the most wanted song in Shazam, 120 thousand downloads in the social network "VKontakte" and 300 thousand views of the video in less than a month. All this made Slava Basyula the most successful finalist of the international TV show “I Want to Meladze”.

The signing of the contract was marked by the release, as we said above, of the spring single of the artist - "Routes", which premiered on March 16 on iTunes.

“Glory is an example of talent from God. He is able to feel the song as much as he can perform it. I believe that soon, thanks to his voice and talent as an author, he will gather large halls and stadiums. To pass by such an artist and not help him, I just could not, "- says Alan Badoev.

According to Badoev, at this stage, his team has begun preparing to shoot a video for the song "Routes" and to the final stage of work on the first solo album Glory Basyul.

Today we will have a conversation with a very interesting interlocutor. With his views on life, creativity, love and much more, one of the most bright participants project “I want to Meladze!”, singer, composer, arranger and producer, author and performer of hits “Wake me up”, “Routes”, “Give me time”, and just a nice young man Slava Basyul.

Nadezhda: Let's start with this question: how did you end up in Moscow and how hard was it to move?

Glory: Indeed, it was not easy. I have been in Moscow for the fourth year already. I arrived, entered the university, studied there for six months, rented an apartment. Then he returned home for six months, because there was not enough money, it was hard to stay here. In addition, the pace of life is crazy, I kept wondering: what am I doing here? As a result, as I already said, I went home for half a year, worked there for a short time ... I left the university, mainly because I did not like it. It was the Institute contemporary art, and he completely disappointed me, in all aspects.

Six months later, I again came to Moscow and entered the Academy of Music. Gnesins, where I finish my studies in the third year, there is only a year left. Here everything was already going somehow according to the thumb, I quickly got used to it, now everything is fine.

Nadezhda: Where did the decision to move to Moscow come from?

Glory: I initially decided that I would study and live in Moscow. I knew this because I chose a profession that would simply make no sense to work somewhere in the regions.

Nadezhda: Have you been making music since you were seven years old?

Slava: Yes, from the first class, one might even say, from the preparatory class.

Nadezhda: Was it your decision right away? When did you realize that you want to do this and devote your whole life to it?

Glory: I realized this when the question arose point-blank what to do seriously. I was already 14-15 years old, when people usually already think about who to be, what I want, what I need. Who am I, finally?

In fact, there were several options. As a child, I dreamed of being a chef, but it did not grow together. And closer to the age of 15-16, my mother pushed me to become a lawyer, because she herself was one.

But I thought about it and decided that I would not exchange music for anything, on which I spent almost all my studies. For example, I was in chemistry only once, the teachers hated me. I changed four schools in my city, they didn’t like me anywhere because I didn’t study well. No one supported me in my music lessons, they said: why do you need this? Learn to be an oilman. It's because I'm from Surgut...

Nadezhda: How did your parents react to your decision?

Glory: Thanks to my parents, everything worked out, if not for them, I would not have studied music. I remember that I somehow dropped out of school, but my mother, in a rather tough form, convinced me to continue. In general, everything that I have in this regard is only thanks to my parents and grandparents.

Nadezhda: Well, you returned to Moscow, entered the Gnesinka and ended up on the project “I want to Meladze!”. How did it happen?

Glory: Quite random. After this project, I began to believe in the power of thought, because I got into the project not because of talent, but because I wanted it. Sometimes, when you sincerely want something, you will definitely be heard, and that's exactly what happened to me. I tell everyone the story of my participation in the project, this is an absolute accident, I just got lucky.

I went from the Gnessin Academy, I passed everything for the first year, it was the end of summer. And I saw a poster of the Kvadro group, have you heard of such people? There are four guys there, they sing classics, like opera singers. I knew them before. They have a blond, a brunette, a redhead and one more, it is not clear what color he is painted in their team ...

The poster announced their concert at the Crocus City Hall, and I thought to myself: why am I not doing well? I seem to write songs, I seem to have talent, I sing well. If there was a selection in their group, I would be perfect instead of a brunette. And I was very surprised when a couple of days later one of my friends gave me information that Kostya was looking for four guys in the group ...

I think that such things don’t just happen: you want to join some group, and in a couple of days you are invited to a casting. Naturally, I decided to go. I was also lucky in the sense that I had a song ready, which I then performed in the first round. It was recorded in the studio, well done, this is Max Fadeev's favorite composition "Dancing on Glass", which I was allowed to sing there.

Thus, my thought materialized, and the desire was fulfilled. This is not always the case, but when you ask sincerely, the chances are greater. With all this, I remembered the situation itself, when I was walking from the academy, saw a poster, thought about everything and got to the casting, I remembered only at the end of the project, three months later. Here is such a story.

Hope: What year was that?

Glory: In 2014, about two years ago.

Hope: I'm just wondering, the song "Wake me up" appeared before the project? And how was she born?

Glory: Yes, it was written before the project. In general, I have been writing songs since the seventh grade. Naturally, at that time I did not write something really good, but I realized from my experience that the ability to compose songs, just like the ability to, say, drive a car, comes with experience. This applies to any art, when you need to create something, this happens if "hands remember".

And the song “Wake me up” was written by me at the age of 17–18.

Nadezhda: And what events contributed to this? The song is deep enough...

Glory: Here are described the relationships of my close friends, for whom this is exactly how everything turned out on their way. People lived together, their history is very deep, emotional. She impressed me a lot, that is, the song was born for a reason.

Then I showed it to the director of the project Alan, the clip maker, who made a video for it, so we worked out the idea, realized the idea, everything turned out well, people liked it, it hooked ...

Hope: Yes, it is true. Still, when songs are written under the influence of such experiences, emotions, they turn out to be more vivid. What is happening in your life right now? Apparently, everything is good and fun. Or does the producer say that you need to write on a different topic?

Glory: No, I'm actually my own producer. I write the way I do. I don't churn out songs, the same "Wake me up" in different options... I try to discover something new, unknown. I like creative person It is interesting to find some other facets in yourself ...

You can really write at least 20 compositions of the same type, according to a template, this is not a problem. But not interesting.

As for the events in my life, I can not say that everything is not so fun for me. For example, the song “Give Me Time” was written after a relationship with a girl that ended, that is, she was also born in a fit of emotions.

No song is written just like that, there is always some kind of impetus. It was like that at the beginning of my creative way. When I decided to finish with the music, my mother gave me such an impetus ... It's the same with this composition of mine - yes, we had a relationship, we broke up, but this is not a reason to be sad.

Hope: How long was the relationship?

Glory: Quite a long time, about three years. But now I’m only 22. If I were 55 and I lived with a man for 25 years, the song would absolutely not be like “What have you done, put on a white dress ...” But here the emotions are completely different, all this reflects on my art. You can, of course, be sad, listen to the corresponding song, but I don’t want people to be sad ... I want positive.

There is so little good in life right now. And I have a million sad songs! It is hard for all of us now in our country, both for musicians and artists. So let's have fun, there will always be time to mourn. And the song, so cheerful, through sadness, written through some kind of experienced relationship, also has some weight ...

Nadezhda: Are there any prospects in terms of new acquaintances? I mean girl...

Glory: Where to hurry? In any case, I will not have a serious relationship in the near future.

Hope: Why? You are not ready?

Glory: I'm only 22. I'm doing well. I live, I study, I do what I like. In general, I want to take a walk. Moreover, the experience was already. I think it’s worth thinking about a serious relationship closer to the third ten.

Nadezhda: And about the children, respectively, also later?

Glory: Yes, and children somewhere in the same age. I think you need to be ready for this. All this - relationships, marriage, children - happens based on the experience of my close friends, not on a specific date - at 30 or 25. You live, you have some kind of relationship, and suddenly a thought arises: maybe Is it time to have a baby already? And, continuing this thought - can I afford it? Will I be able to provide my child with a decent life, education and so on? And there are many other questions that need to be considered before taking any serious step. Therefore, to say that at the age of 30 or 35 I will have a child or some serious relationship, I can't. It will be on a whim, as it turns out, based on life experience.

Hope: In general, I want to live for myself. What is it for you? Besides music, what are your hobbies?

Glory: I draw, I swim. I collect all kinds of rubbish, which for my relatives is junk - all sorts of badges, old records. I'm like a junkie. I can’t just take my things that have been with me for 10 years and throw them in the trash. I keep them, for me memory is important. That's what I do. But I am still learning.

Nadezhda: Has education come to the fore now? Or is your career more important?

Glory: I cannot say that I am completely immersed in my studies, as well as the fact that I abandoned it for the sake of a career. But I think that a career is above all, although the whole environment says: you need a diploma, you need a diploma ... I have a ratio of about 60/40. 40% I give to study, 60% to make myself self made V modern concept youth.

Nadezhda: Does Alan from “I want to go to Meladze” still help you?

Glory: No. We worked and finished cooperation. We decided that everything. We had conversations about something long-term, but in the end we realized that we were not ready for this yet.

Nadezhda: As a person who already has experience in his development and promotion, what advice would you give to novice musicians?

Glory: The most important thing is to just do what you like. Many people say: I can't, I won't succeed, I'm afraid, I'm scared... best advice than "do what you love", no one will give you. I believe that there is no other form. If I had been unlucky with the project two years ago (let's be blunt, the luck factor played a role), I would have it the next year, or another year, or 10 years, or 20 ...

Leps became popular when he was over 40. He just did what he loved, met the right people, and spun. Yes, it’s hard for everyone now, but if you do your job, work, don’t stop there, everything will work out. You yourself will become better, you will understand what you are doing, someone will hear about you. But all this is not momentary, you need to work hard.

I worked a lot before the project, it was hard for me. After the project, it became harder for me four times. This is an insane responsibility, these are people who know you, who want more, more and more from you, and you cannot let them down ... These are not only your fans, but also creative people who surround you in a professional environment. They also want something from you, they need to squeeze you to the maximum, hit the jackpot, maybe cheat somehow, this is business ...

Therefore, young artists, those who are just starting out, need to understand how difficult it is. It would be easier for me to become a lawyer, like my mother. I would have a stable job, a salary, I would know every day what will happen tomorrow, that is, I would literally be sure of tomorrow. But I, choosing a different path, also knew what I was going for, what I wanted, so my life is somehow more interesting ... I am engaged in creativity. Today it is, and tomorrow it may not be, but you are always looking for it. You overcome obstacles, difficulties harden you, you just have to be ready for it.

Hope: Depression did not cover after the project?

Glory: Just after the project, nothing covered, everything was fine. Of course, it was difficult because of the heavy responsibility, but relatives and friends always helped, and there were no particular problems. Then, when this wave passes, you ask yourself: what's next?

But it's not even about the project. I am a Pisces according to the horoscope, and for me depression is the norm. I write songs, I suffer, I worry, but I chose this profession. I am a person who must suffer, overcome life's barriers, obstacles and through this convey to people information about what is happening to them.

Hope: Let's talk about the material. Do you somehow manage to plan a budget, save money, taking into account the fact that there are not concerts every day?

Glory: Well, yes, I am not yet Lazarev, who has a daily schedule for three months in advance. But we and the team are trying to work in this direction. Of course, it’s hard for everyone, but again, you just need to do your job, and the result will definitely come, albeit not immediately, no one succeeds right away, it doesn’t happen like that.

According to the budget - yes, we try to find an opportunity to give some kind of concert at least once a month in order to somehow feed ourselves, as they say. Looking for other options. For example, artists now have practically nothing from sales of songs in the same official stores.

Nadezhda: And how many copies do you need to sell to make money selling songs?

Glory: Firstly, there should be not one composition, but at least several albums. Then, with good fan support, about 20,000 per quarter can come out. But this is a super result, it is not easy to achieve it. As a rule, an artist of a certain average level, but not a beginner, has such amounts.

Nadezhda: That is, Lazarev does not make money on this either?

Glory: No, Lazarev has a good percentage of online sales, but artists receive significantly more for performances, the main income comes from concerts.

Streaming services are on the rise. Here is my teaser program as an example. A streaming service is when a user pays 150-200 rubles a month and he has an infinite number of free songs that he listens to whenever he wants. That is, he does not officially buy every track.

A musician spends a lot of money on a track. And this, as I said, can only pay off with concerts.

Nadezhda: We heard that the profit from each concert should be 40-50 thousand rubles?

Glory: A thousand dollars is the minimum. We, on post-Soviet space, compared with Europe are completely different figures. In Europe, with iTunes, you can make good money and live in peace without concerts. In Europe, people buy tracks, they understand that artists are invested in it.

Our audience is not yet accustomed to modern realities. He wants to keep everything as low as possible.

Nadezhda: Well, I must say that today the trend is as follows: people still begin to respect the work of other people and gradually buy CDs ...

Glory: Now, compared to the zero years, we have a colossal growth in this regard. We ourselves teach people to do this. I always tell my fans, subscribers: if you want to support me, buy officially. It will not be just a comment that will be forgotten tomorrow. Let you spend 15 rubles, but I will understand that I am doing the work that you need.

In Europe, the whole story of piracy has long been forgotten, but this is gradually disappearing in our country. Now some anti-piracy laws are being adopted at the state level, which cannot but rejoice me as an author, composer, creative person. It is very important.

Nadezhda: Something we are all about work and about work ... Tell us how you relax.

Glory: Yesterday and today I visited my grandparents in the Moscow region. We fed their animals - they have goats, chickens, dogs, cats... Calmness, silence.

Nadezhda: So there are only grandparents here? Or did your parents move too?

Glory: My mother is here in Moscow. Everyone moved here, what should they do there?

Nadezhda: Well, yes, in fact, the climate in Surgut is harsh ...

Glory: Yes, there are frosts of minus 40-50. It is, of course, much easier for the same grandparents here, they are happy that they have their own household. It was unreal...

How else do I rest? I go to the cinema.

But most of all, of course, I love being at home. Yes, I am a home person, I am a Pisces, I am not a party-goer, not a reveler ... I like to turn on a TV series at home, lie under a blanket with coffee - there is no better rest for me. Of course, sometimes I hang out with friends or host events, but this is not a vacation, all these promotional, PR events are work for me.

Hope: Of course, it's work. Although, communicating with people, you still get pleasure ...

Glory: I meet people, communicate - yes, this is very important in my work. But this is not a vacation, when there are a lot of people, some unfamiliar faces ... I still love solitude, when there is no one around, when it is quiet, calm ...

Hope: How did you find your team? Are these the same people - on the mixing of "Wake Me Up" and in the last songs?

Glory: No, they are different people. How did I find them? It's hard to say... Again, this all comes with experience, at events, communication through mutual friends, and, well, personal communication.

For example, I met the person with whom we make arrangements even before the project, we got along well with him. After the project, everything got better, we found common ground, we do what we love. I like to do this, I understand that I am growing up, maybe someone could do it for me, but I had a deplorable experience when a producer did it for me, something shot and something didn’t, and this “something” was not needed by anyone.

If we talk about intellectual property, everyone liked one of my songs, nobody liked the second one at all. And it turned out that I did not participate in their creation.

Now I am 100% involved in the creation of my compositions, I enjoy it, I really relax in this way, I can make some kind of basis for a song, some demos, etc. for two days without a break.

And the team - it will always be found along the way. Sooner or later, you will meet people who will be interested in working with you and with whom you will feel comfortable. This is very important, there must be 100% trust, 100% quality, 100% understanding of everything we do.

More than two years have passed since the project, during which time all TV channels and radio stations have learned about me. In this industry, I can say hello to everyone I need to say hello to, that's important to me. And people will know about me when I have more resources and material. I’m not in a hurry, I don’t strive to make everyone know about me at once, so that I have a lot of money, so that every day there are tours, concerts ... There are such goals, they must be set in front of you so that there is some kind of fuse, there was a desire to move forward. Well, let's see how we can do it.

Nadezhda: Has the scheme already been built for future development?

Glory: Yes, I have a couple of projects in which I act as music producer and just a composer. It is important for me to develop not only as a solo singer, I also want to work with other artists.

In the future I plan to open my own music school and develop further, if enough internal forces, fuse and health to master it all. Just to say that I want it is one thing, however, to achieve this, you need to make an effort. But I still hope that I will finish my studies soon (only a year is left, time has flown by quickly), and then it will be easier.

Hope: Thank you very much for a very interesting, fascinating story!

Glory: And thank you for the interesting conversation!

FP: Tell us about your childhood, in what environment did it pass?

Slava Basyul: In general, my childhood was not very easy, because I spent half of my childhood on crutches and I didn’t have a childhood as such. But there were parents, close people nearby. Until the age of three, I lived in Moldova in a city in Grigoriopol, where I have all my relatives, and then we moved to Russia to the small northern town of Pyt-Yakh, where I lived, studied, and studied music until I was 18. I grew up in an incalculable amount of love, experiences. Having gone through all this, I can say that I have become stronger.

FP: you only child in family?

Slava Basyul: I have a younger brother, he is 9 years old, now he studies at school, he is also an activist: he sings, dances, the “actor” is still the same, his name is Yaroslav.

FP: At what age did you first take the stage?

Slava Basyul: At about eight years old, I went on stage in our recreation center, where I sang Valery Syutkin's song "Vasya", and I remember we still sang "Belaya Peakless Cap". These are the two songs that put me in my place.

FP: What song do you consider the closest, and therefore your favorite?

Slava Basyul: For 5 years, these are Fadeev's songs, for example, which turned me upside down, there are also songs by Igor Krutoy. For my musical activity there are songs that took me by the soul, and these are, in particular, the compositions of Joshua Groban, Valery Meladze. The composition "I love you to tears" became a hit when I was still studying, and I sang it, then Alla Borisovna Pugacheva's "Lake of Hope" sang. I felt these songs more than the rest, I don’t know how it happened, so they went through me at that time. And now I'm writing an album and every song I pass through myself. I hope that everyone will accept my message, this is very important for me, but I don't know how it will turn out, we'll see. I want to do well what I can, but I know how to suffer well, to convey the burning emotions that overwhelmed me and overwhelm me, I want to share them with all people. I want to share kindness and say to all people: "Be kinder." I noticed that in Lately we all lack kindness, everyone is so evil and I want people to change. How to do it? With music, which is what I do. If I can write music, and I succeed, then I simply have to do it, and whether people will accept it or not is another matter. The main thing is that I did and conveyed what I wanted to say.

FP: What are your sources of inspiration?

Slava Basyul: Inspiration is not some physical thing, it is floating, it can arise from some incomprehensible things. It does not have to be love or suffering, it can just be a meeting with some good or kind person. A lot of factors go into this and you don't always get it, but when it does, it's great. This is such an insight, you sit and then bang a ray of light through your window, and you understand that now you need to write a song, and you write it like in one breath. And if you don’t write easily, then you need nourishment: cinema, music, paintings. I myself love to draw, no matter what, the main thing is that it immerses me.

FP: Do you have bad habits?

Slava Basyul: I love to sleep long in the morning, I can't wake up early. I consider it very bad habit. I don't smoke, I don't drink, I think that these are things that should not be promoted in our country, in the world. And if you still drink, then you need to know the measure, I think so.

FP: Do you like to communicate with fans, and how does this communication usually go: social media, autograph sessions, fan meetings?

Slava Basyul: By the way, this is also a very big drink. If people like what you do, I can’t call them my fans, they are my inspirers: my Basyata and I will say about them that they inspire me very, very, very much. I have not yet held any autograph sessions, meetings, but in the future we plan to do this, and Internet conferences, and so far social networks help all artists a lot, because they help to stay in the know. After all, if I don’t have my own Basyats, my inspirers, then why is all this. And they are so positive, kind and active. There is no negativity at all in my group, and I am very happy about this, because we have one common goal - this is art.

FP: Do you often go to social events?

Slava Basyul: Nobody invites me yet, because I still don't have a connection with such a more pretentious show business, and so I'm ready to attend various events. Although in reality I home man And I don't really like all this pathos. I don't like being in the company of people who make a lot of themselves out of themselves. I love ordinary, normal and sincere people who will understand me, and I will understand them, we will talk, laugh. And all these noisy parties never inspired me. I'd rather sit at home and write songs than I'll go spend my time and energy, but I understand that this is part of my profession.

FP: How do you spend your free time?

Slava Basyul: In my free time, I like to watch Harry Potter with popcorn, draw or, wrapped in a cozy blanket, drink tea. I love photography and find my outlet in it when I capture different moments on camera. I enjoy spending my free time on this.

FP: Do you like shopping and what brands do you prefer?

Slava Basyul: I am not a shopaholic and, probably, this will distinguish me from many popular people. I can easily buy some kind of cluttered thing in any store of an affordable mass market, the main thing is that there are no signs on it, huge letters etc.

FP: Do you have any favorite places, establishments in Moscow?

Slava Basyul: I love the Kuznetsky Most area, it's very soulful there. There is also a restaurant of Moldovan cuisine where I like to sit. FP: Do you have a tattoo?

Slava Basyul: This is such an interpretation of the fish in its non-standard form. Nothing so original, I just decided to increase my karma, my zodiac sign. According to the horoscope, I am a fish, and a very creative streak in this all flows precisely in this sign. So I decided that now I will bang it on my left calf and become more, more, more, even more sensual, creative and talented, I will be the most sincere and positive. Something, of course, may have changed, but not as drastically as I wished. But the tattoo still remains.

FP: Do you like sweet things, what is your favorite dish?

Slava Basyul: I try to cook myself, but so far I'm not very successful (smiles). eat Tasty food I love it, and sometimes I even get it when I'm in the mood. I like to cook spaghetti, then sauce for them, and when everything is ready, I am satisfied, how cool it is. I love pizza, borschiks, especially my mother's, they are just gorgeous. I have a terrible sweet tooth, I love everything sweet, even if I drank tea without sweet, it means that I didn’t drink tea, I definitely need some kind of cookie or candy.

FP: "I want to Meladze" - is this your first television project?

Slava Basyul: No, there was also "Voice", but I did not go further. Then I had “I want to Meladze” outlined, and for a whole month I was preparing for the casting. On the same day there was an audition for the next "Voice", but I made a choice in favor of "I want to Meladze" and did not regret it. I just compared, I have many friends on the Voice, and I know all that cuisine, but here I got a lot more, because this is not just a show, this is a school where you are taught: vocals, choreography, communication and the correct presentation of yourself. This is a great experience both personal and team work. The emotions that overwhelmed me charged me, because I had to work with meters Russian show business: Presnyakov, Lazarev, Garagina and others.

FP: Do you have a hobby and is it true that you collect badges?

Slava Basyul: Yes, I love it, and in general I am a hoarder, this is my hobby. I have a very touching attitude to old things, badges, records. I can't even throw mine away old toy, which I played, for example, as a child. My mother says to me: “Why don’t we throw her away, Slavik?” I say: “Mom, this was my favorite toy a couple of years ago, and how can I throw it away now, even if it is no longer my favorite, because it used to be my favorite.” Therefore, I have a bunch of boxes with things at home, and I keep all this unnecessary “trash” and I can’t throw it away. And I say to my mother, just try to throw it away. Sometimes I take out boxes and start sorting through these things, and I am enveloped in the memories that these things carry. And the badges are a continuation of the same, only I love old badges, there is something interesting and sincere in them. I'm such a sentimental dude!

FP: Do you have a favorite sport and what exactly do you do?

Slava Basyul: Swimming is for me main sport. I watch football, I like to play it. I also like to watch hockey, although I have never played it, because the body structure is not the same (smiles).
