Well, if the introduction is thematically related to the hall where this event is held, to the composition of the artists involved in the program, to some important events of the day or week...
The duration of the introduction to the concert, as a rule, should not exceed 3-4 minutes, that is, on a “paper carrier” it is one and a half to two pages.
Psychologists say that any public speaking should not contain more than 2 new thoughts. Such is the specificity of the perception of the hall. When a third thought appears, the first is forgotten. Nevertheless, it's good when two or three good reprises sound in the introduction to the combined concert, to which the audience reacts, smiles, and maybe even applauds.
Sometimes the entertainer himself copes with this seemingly simple task, and sometimes a professional author is involved.

Paired entertainers have wider opportunities than solo entertainers, but there are noticeably more difficulties in this case.

This can be done from the very beginning of the concert, for the first time appearing before the audience in one way or another. For example - in the image of an eccentric merry talker, or, conversely, a forgetful melancholic ...
In principle, this game can be enhanced and decorated, for example, with interchangeable wigs, mustaches, overlays. It can be turned into a funny number, and during the concert there can be several of these images, especially for an artist who has the gift of transformation.
